How To Use Natural Cures for Everyday Health Issues
Natural cures for everyday Health Issues takes many forms. We call them Grandmas' old remedies or natural cures, but they are cures without using medications. Do you know how to stop a baby's hiccups? A little bit of sugar on your finger will take them away after he's done sucking off the sugar. Another one for hiccups for someone older is to try to scare them out of them, sipping water from a glass upside down, and then there's my personal favorite. Taking a big, deep breath and holding it until you either turn blue, pass out or your body forces you to breath. And that's what it does you can't voluntarily hold your breath to turn blue.
Some other old remedies I remember from living with my Grandma. Do you have a cold? Then the best thing is to do a sink full of dirty dishes and make the water as hot as you can stand it. Personally, I would just rather go sit in the shower. Have you ever had vapor rubbed on your chest and covered with a piece of flannel? Been there, done that lots of times. Our cough syrup was honey and lemon juice.
Headaches also have many natural cures you can try. Exercise is a good idea, a brisk walk will get your blood circulating, release contracted muscles and generally just lets you relax. My personal favorite is a hot bath. The hot water also helps release bunched up muscles and helps you to relax.
Did you know that dehydration could cause headaches? It's been printed that you need to drink at least six to eight glasses of water a day. I have heard the excuse that you don't like the taste of water, but now it comes in so many flavors and without sugar that excuse is pretty well not usable anymore. In addition, other natural cures for headaches include acupressure, acupuncture, and aromatherapy. You need to press or massage on the fleshy area between thumb and forefinger, that's one of the pressure points for acupressure.
Other ways to get rid of a nasty headache is to lie down in a dark room avoiding bright lights. Alternate hot and cold washcloths applied to the area where the pain is located. If you haven't eaten in a while, have something to eat that is nutritious. Do slight neck rolls and shoulder lifts to relieve tense muscles in your shoulder and neck area.
Here are some interesting natural cures for symptoms of pregnancy I wish I'd had when I was pregnant. To relieve symptoms of morning sickness there are natural cures you can do to help the situation. One of the most obvious is to cut out spicy and fatty foods. Another is to stay away from strong odors such as onion, garlic, and coffee. You should eat several small meals a day instead of three big ones. Try eating a few soda crackers with a couple of sips of room temperature water before you get up in the morning. Again, acupressure is recommended by wearing sea bands three quarter of an inch down your wrist in between tendons. Last, eat what sounds good to you. My doctor gave me that advice and it has been good for me throughout my life. Generally, if it sounds good, you can keep it down better.
Heartburn can also be helped by many of the same remedies of morning sickness. Some extra hints are avoiding trigger foods that are acidic, spicy, and fatty. Avoid tight fitting clothing after you've eaten which can worsen the symptoms. One other idea, add some slippery elm powder to a cup of tea.
Natural cures are available for arthritis sufferers as well. Ginger extract is a natural anti-inflammatory substance. It takes damaging oxidizing agents out of the body. In other words, it's an antioxidant. Ginger extract is completely natural and can be taken and have no side effects. Willow has also been used to ease pain. The Greeks used to mash the leaves of the willow plant with a little wine and apply it to the sore area.
Lifestyle changes can significantly impact pain levels of arthritis. Getting some exercise daily will help the joints moving freely and strengthens the joints. Don't overdo, but a little exercise will go a long way to keep you moving freely. It helps some sufferers if they cut back on certain foods. Some of those foods are red meat, dairy products, and tomatoes. Eat a lot of fruit and vegetables, include plenty of Vitamin C and you'll find your joints will feel better but you're also eating healthier too.

Why Hybrids Have Better Resale Value
Hybrid cars are hot. They are popular and trendy and at the same time, they are environmentally savvy. Even television and movie celebrities love to be seen in these "green" cars. More and more automakers are starting to catch on to the hybrid car craze by offering more styles and more choices of hybrid cars. In addition to being good for the environment, and needing less maintenance than a conventional car, hybrids have excellent resale value.
Some critics of hybrid cars believe that the price of a hybrid car does not necessarily save the buyer any money in the long run. Not so, say those that support the hybrid. Many times a used hybrid car can sell for as much or more as a brand new hybrid. With a hybrid car, buyers do not always immediately lose that 30 percent of the value the minute they drive off the lot.
When considering a hybrid car, think about this The starting price for a brand new 2005 Toyota Prius with standard features is listed at $22,546 including shipping. The Kelly Blue Book lists a used 2005 Pruis four door hatchback with standard features for $25,470. That is excellent resale value for anyone.
Edmonds lists much of the same information on hybrid cars. It lists the same Toyota Prius compact sedan at $21,275 and a used 2005hybrid Prius bought from a dealer at $23,277. Not all hybrid cars, though, are expecting to hold such good value on the used market. The resale value of the Honda Insight has been much lower than that of the Prius. Currently, the Prius seems to be the hybrid with the best resale value.
Toyota expects the sales of certified used Prius hybrid cars to double in 2006. Many are left wondering if the resale values of hybrids are because they are trendy or because they are a good buy. Why do hybrid cars have such good resale value?
It is possible that the hybrid has such a good resale value at the time because gas prices are up. Fuel prices always affect the type of car many people drive. Large cars and SUVs tend to guzzle gas. With a hybrid, buyers can expect lower gas prices at the pump. The resale value for hybrids could also be so good because the cars are popular, resulting in longer waiting lists for the cars. Toyota estimates that there are currently around 22,000 Prius cars on backorder.
Consumers also want to feel good about their vehicle purchase. With a hybrid car, drivers can be one of the growing numbers of people who want a trendy, stylish car with the newest technology while being good to the environment. Many carmakers are offering more styles of the hybrid cars. The Prius is not the only option. Ford offers a small hybrid SUV. Buyers can also purchase a Honda Civic hybrid. GMC and Chevy are currently making two hybrids pick up trucks called the C15 Silverado and the C15 Sierra. The Honda Accord and Toyota Camry are also available in hybrid varieties. In the near future, Saturn, Lexus, Honda, and Chevrolet will make hybrid SUVs available to the public. In addition, Chevrolet will offer their Malibu in hybrid form in 2007. Now since so many hybrid cars are available on the market, drivers can choose a style that suits their needs best, which often increase the demand. Drivers no longer have to sacrifice style for more efficient car
The newest in car technology accounts for the reason why many want to buy hybrids. They can expect to pay less at the gas pump for a car that need less maintenance for wear and tear. A hybrid runs more efficiently, too. This cuts down on wear and tear on parts, making the resale value attractive to many consumer
It is estimated that hybrids currently account for less than one percent of the cars sold in the United States. Because they are growing rapidly in popularity and because many new makes and styles are available, the growth continues. Sales of larger SUVs and cars are on the decline. Over the next several years, more people will drive hybrid cars, making the resale value important to consumers.

How To Get Started On A Healthy Lifestyle
How many times have you gone to sleep at night, swearing you'll go to the gym in the morning, and then changing your mind just eight hours later because when you get up, you don't feel like exercising?
While this can happen to the best of us, it doesn't mean you should drop the ball altogether when it comes to staying fit. What people need to realize is that staying active and eating right are critical for long-term health and wellness -- and that an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. The more you know about how your body responds to your lifestyle choices, the better you can customize a nutrition and exercise plan that is right for you. When you eat well, increase your level of physical activity, and exercise at the proper intensity, you are informing your body that you want to burn a substantial amount of fuel. This translates to burning fat more efficiently for energy.
In other words, proper eating habits plus exercise equals fast metabolism, which, in turn gives you more energy throughout the day and allows you to do more physical work with less effort.
The true purpose of exercise is to send a repetitive message to the body asking for improvement in metabolism, strength, aerobic capacity and overall fitness and health. Each time you exercise, your body responds by upgrading its capabilities to burn fat throughout the day and night, Exercise doesn't have to be intense to work for you, but it does need to be consistent.
I recommend engaging in regular cardiovascular exercise four times per week for 20 to 30 minutes per session, and resistance training four times per week for 20 to 25 minutes per session. This balanced approach provides a one-two punch, incorporating aerobic exercise to burn fat and deliver more oxygen, and resistance training to increase lean body mass and burn more calories around the block.
Here's a sample exercise program that may work for you
* Warm Up -- seven to eight minutes of light aerobic activity intended to increase blood flow and lubricate and warm-up your tendons and joints.
* Resistance Training -- Train all major muscle groups. One to two sets of each exercise. Rest 45 seconds between sets.
* Aerobic Exercise -- Pick two favorite activities, they could be jogging, rowing, biking or cross-country skiing, whatever fits your lifestyle. Perform 12 to 15 minutes of the first activity and continue with 10 minutes of the second activity. Cool down during the last five minutes.
* Stretching -- Wrap up your exercise session by stretching, breathing deeply, relaxing and meditating.
When starting an exercise program, it is important to have realistic expectations. Depending on your initial fitness level, you should expect the following changes early on.
* From one to eight weeks -- Feel better and have more energy.
* From two to six months -- Lose size and inches while becoming leaner. Clothes begin to fit more loosely. You are gaining muscle and losing fat.
* After six months -- Start losing weight quite rapidly.
Once you make the commitment to exercise several times a week, don't stop there. You should also change your diet and/or eating habits,' says Zwiefel. Counting calories or calculating grams and percentages for certain nutrients is impractical. Instead, I suggest these easy-to-follow guidelines
* Eat several small meals (optimally four) and a couple of small snacks throughout the day
* Make sure every meal is balanced -- incorporate palm-sized proteins like lean meats, fish, egg whites and dairy products, fist-sized portions of complex carbohydrates like whole-wheat bread and pasta, wild rice, multigrain cereal and potatoes, and fist-sized portions of vegetable and fruits
* Limit your fat intake to only what's necessary for adequate flavor
* Drink at least eight 8-oz. glasses of water throughout the day
* I also recommend that you take a multi-vitamin each day to ensure you are getting all the vitamins and minerals your body needs.

The Many Uses Of Apple Cider Vinegar for Every Day Maladies
Do you remember the old saying, "An apple a day keeps the doctor away?" Well that saying is supported by the facts that we have gathered about apples. They are amount the most health giving fruits available and contain beneficial vitamins and minerals. Some of those included are potassium, magnesium, calcium, phosphorous, iron and the central ingredient, apple cider vinegar.
Apple cider vinegar breaks down fatty, mucous and phlegm that are in the body therefore improving the health and function of your liver, bladder, and kidneys. It also helps thin the blood, which prevents high blood pressure. It also promotes digestion, the assimilation in the body and the elimination process. It helps get rid of toxic substances that can be harmful. It has been said that if you take a mixture of cider vinegar and water before a meal it will help prevent diarrhea or digestive upsets. This works especially well for picnics when food is left uncovered and not refrigerated for long periods. The potassium in apple cider vinegar also is helpful in easing the symptoms of common colds and allergies. Potassium is essential to healthy bones and teeth and it's good for hair loss.
Apple cider vinegar can be taken in many different forms. The best method is by using it in its natural liquid form. You can use it in salad dressings, making mayonnaise, or sprinkled on chips and fries. It also can be used as a hot or cold beverage sweetened with natural honey.
Cider vinegar can detoxify the body of harmful elements that can cause such things as boils, blisters, and acne. It also helps in the clotting process and cleaning the blood in your body. Cider vinegar applied as hot compresses to the aching joints of the body can also reduce inflammation and pain. It has also been known to treat such ailments as nose bleeds, cancer, gallstones, kidney stones, hay fever, ear discharge, fatigue, muscle cramps, and diarrhea. Depression is also supposed to be helped by taking cider vinegar.
One of the latest crazes in weight loss is the use of apple cider vinegar. I see it as coming around in cycles as a weight loss tool. Since you can now find apple cider vinegar in tablets, it is easy to take as a supplement to help in your weight loss program. Of course, always check with your doctor before starting any weight loss program. It's been said that it helps increase metabolism, generates energy and reduces hunger. It is safe enough that even children with weight problems can take the supplements. Many diets advocate eating an apple before each meal. This gives the extra boost of the metabolism as well as lessens your appetite before eating.
For postmenopausal women, the risk of bone loss is greater than in younger women. A supplement of apple cider vinegar has magnesium, silicone and calcium and magnesium, which have all been linked to sustaining, bone mas
In addition, Vitamin C, vitamin E, Vitamin A, B2 and B6, Vitamin P and beta-carotene is also found in trace amounts. These additional minerals and vitamins help your body by boosting metabolism, reducing the dangerous LDL cholesterol, reducing water retention in the body, and regulating blood pressure. It's said to also increase concentration and memory, blood circulation, regulating body temperature and gives us more energy.
Yeast infections can also be impacted by apple cider vinegar. It's caused by a yeast imbalance in your body sometimes caused by a change in diet or taking antibiotics. A douche of two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar to a quart of lukewarm water helps restore the acid balance in your body. You should do this twice a day until the symptoms go away.
In looking at all the benefits of apple cider vinegar, it seems that having an apple a day is a very healthy start to a good diet plan and healthy eating. It must be noted that apple cider vinegar can be bought in capsule form, but for those of you who are purist, you can make your own at home. You make apple cider vinegar from winter and fall varieties of apples. There are quite a few steps involving in making this at home one of the important things to remember is to make this mixture in glass, plastic, wood, enamel or stainless steel containers. Don't use metal containers because the acid will cause corrosion of metal or aluminum.

Some Beneficial Properties of Green Tea
Asian cultures have used green tea for medicinal purpose throughout the course of time. Recent scientific studies, though, have shown many different benefits associated with green tea. Green tea is rich in powerful antioxidants. While green, oolong, and black tea all come from the same plant, the Camellia green tea is processed differently than the other teas. The leaves are steamed. Therefore, the compound that is so helpful isn't oxidized as it is in the other teas. The only harmful effect noticed with green tea is the same kind of effect noticed with other caffeine drinks. Green tea, though, has considerable less caffeine than coffee.
Green tea offers at least ten health benefits. One health benefit green tea offers is a lowering of cholesterol because green tea has a high concentration of antioxidants. Green Tea will help your body increase your liver's LDL receptors. This helps reduce bad cholesterol in the blood, thereby lowering your total cholesterol levels. Consuming as few as five cups of green tea per day could lead to lower cholesterol. Green tea has also been known to cause remission in cancer patients. Green tea inhibits the enzyme which can help cancer cells spread throughout the body. It can decrease tumor sizes and prevent further tumor formation.
Green tea can also prevent cancer. Because it contains the compound EGCG, the tea prevents cancer cells from growing when the compound binds with the enzyme also found in the body. Another health effect of drinking green tea is that it is able to ease the effects of rheumatoid arthritis. The antioxidants in the tea ease swelling, which in turn, helps ease the pain associated with arthritis. Green tea can also prevent heart disease. The tea not only helps lower cholesterol, as previously mentioned, but it also helps break down plaque on artery walls. This allows better blood flow, and thus, heart disease prevention. Another health benefit of drinking green tea is its ability to cure infections. The antioxidants in the tea have the ability to kill the disease causing organisms.
Green tea can also assist with impaired immune function. Polyphones and antioxidants exist in green tea. These help with the stimulation of your immune system. This can help to make you stronger and more able to fight infection. Green tea can treat acne. Because green tea has natural antioxidants and antibacterial properties, it is just as good as acne medications. Moreover, helps reduce toxins and swelling. It also reduces some of the hormone levels that are known to cause acne. For acne problems, it can either be ingested or administered directly on the skin in the form of a cream. Green tea can prevent cavities. As green tea can destroy bacteria and viruses, it inhibits the growth of cavities, which are primarily caused by these things. In the future, you may see it in toothpastes and mouthwash products. One final health benefit of green tea is that it can promote longevity. The polyphones in green tea help to fight against free radicals. This means fewer wrinkles and longer life.
To brew the perfect cup of green tea, use one tea bag per cup. Boil a kettle of cold water. Once it has boiled, allow it to stand for a minimum of three minutes. Pour the hot water over the tea bag and let it steep for at least four minutes. Before drinking, allow the tea to cool.
Many people have difficulty brewing green tea. There are a number of things you can do to ensure that you receive all of the health benefits. First, if it is brewed at a heat higher than one hundred seventy five degrees, it will become bitter. Further, it should not be brewed for more than two minutes. Next, green tea only has a shelf life of six months. Once you've opened it, you need to get rid of it in two to three months. However, if your tea was poorly packaged to begin with, it was probably bad from the start. Also, the best green tea is harvested in April and May. While you can get it throughout the year, it may not be as tasty.
Green tea has many health benefits if properly used.

How To Curb Your Appetite with Herbs
The Chinese have used herbs for medicinal purposes for over 4000 years. Today, the medical community, who once shunned the use of herbs for medicinal purposes, is starting to take notice of the benefits of using herbs. Herbs are nutritionally sound and can offer a healthy, natural alternative to nourish and heal the body. Herbs can also give the body the nutrients that the body does not always get through a regular diet.
Herbs can include leaves, bark, berries, roots, seeds, stems, gums and flowers. They can also come in many forms including tablets, capsules, bark pieces, powders, extracts, creams, lotions, oils, liquids and salves. When buying herbs of any kind, it is important to look for the word "standardized" on the label. Because most herbs are not FDA approved, the label on herbs provides important safety and dosage information. When purchasing herbs you should look for freshness. Those that are loose and sold in bulk have almost no nutritional value. Instead opt for freeze-dried over air-dried herb
Herbs have always been used as a weight loss remedy. There are many herbs that can be used both safely and efficiently to suppress appetite and help control weight loss. For people need or want to shed a few pounds but who already eat healthy and participate in regular exercise, adding natural herbs to the diet can help aid in weight control. Herbs may not be a good choice for those seeking to loose a lot of weight in a short amount of time. Some herbs do have side effects and some should be taken carefully. As with any weight loss program or diet, caution should be used and it should be used in conjunction with regular diet and exercise. The following are good starters to help you curb your appetite with herb
Brazilian Cocoa This herb is almost identical to caffeine. Both stimulate the central nervous system and increases metabolic rate. Brazilian Cocoa has a very mild diuretic effect. The side effect of this herb is that is also similar to caffeine. When taken in excess, it can cause restlessness, trembling, nervousness and anxiety.
Cayenne Cayenne pepper when added to food can help stimulate capsaicin, which stimulates saliva. It also stimulates digestion and can help accelerate the metabolism at a safe level.
Green Tea Green tea is a natural stimulant that acts much like coffee, but has the added benefit of vitamin C and antioxidants. By steeping the tea quickly or for a longer period of time, it is possible to control the strength of the tea. Green tea is available as a capsule formula, but works better in the body as a liquid.
Evening Primrose This herb has been shown to be effective as a natural alternative to help reduce cholesterol levels and help people who do not process fats correctly loose weight.
Seaweed Seaweed is a good natural source of trace mineral and is a natural thyroid stimulant. It is widely available in capsule or tablets forms at many health food store
Psyllium Studies show that the granules of these seeds consumed with water before a meal helps control the appetite. This herb causes an instant reduction of appetite by making the stomach feel full. The full feeling leads to less caloric and fat consumption.
Queen's Flower Queen's flower has been shown to be one of the most effective plant used in alternative weight control and diabete
Herbs can be taken in using different methods. Infusion involves using the soft part of the herb plant including the leaves, flowers, and the whole herb. Infusion of herbs is much like tea is made. Boiling water is poured over the plant and allowed to steep. Then liquid is then strained and the liquid is consumed. Honey may be added to the infusion liquid to improve the bitter taste. With decoction, the tough part of the plant-the bark, root, twig and stem are simmered for about thirty minutes and then consumed.
Juice can also be made using small pieces of the herb. The juice is taken right after it is made because the vitamin content declines rapidly. This method works well for getting vitamins and are sensitive to heat. Tinctures are often considered the best way to take herbal supplements. It is a good way to take well-preserved herbs. During this method, the herb is soaked in alcohol or a water mixture. The mixture is pressed and this makes the tincture.

Why To Buy Organic Foods When Possible
Nowadays many people are decidedly making smarter choices when purchasing food for themselves or their family. Organically grown foods have been increasing in popularity as people are choosing to live a smarter and healthier lifestyle. Organic farmers around the world are doing their part in preserving the quality of our ecosystem and to improve our health by growing food the way nature intended. Organically grown food gives us a naturally healthy and purely delicious food that is completely free of harmful chemicals and pesticides. Conventionally grown foods tend to carry a heavier load of pesticide than the organically grown food and these can be very harmful.
Here are five reasons why you should choose to buy organically grown foods.
Organic foods are free of additives and preservatives and therefore taste more delicious and pure.
Buying organic foods helps to reduce the dependence on all the non-renewable resources.
The organic food industry promotes healthy farmland and supports those small family owned farms that produce the organic food.
Growing organic foods help to keep chemicals out of the water supplies and help protect the farmers and other workers from having contact with harmful chemicals and pesticides.
Organically grown food is exceedingly safe for children because it is free from harmful pesticides.
Next time you're shopping for groceries, think about how buying organically grown food can benefit you and your family. Think about choosing a food that was grown as nature intended, compared to one that had frequently been covered with poisonous pesticides and other chemicals. Would you buy food knowing that it had once been saturated with harmful chemicals? At one point in time, that was something you never would have thought about, but now today in the information age, people are more aware of what they are putting into their bodies. Now people are aware of how food is grown and produced and now people have a choice.
Some great organically grown foods to buy are apples, grapes (imported), nectarines, pears, peaches, red raspberries, strawberries, bell peppers, celery, potatoes and spinach. There are even many other foods coming to market as organic foods such as eggs, cheese, yogurt, ice cream, milk, juice, bread, soup, meat, nuts, pasta and many baby foods.
Being organic is referring to the way the agricultural products of fiber and food are processed and grown. The ecological system heavily relies on the rich soil to produce plants strong enough to withstand diseases and other pests. Organic farming means that the use of any chemicals and toxins are prohibited and work only in favor of the earth friendly habits that work with nature. In livestock, preventative measures are taken to keep the animals productive and healthy because the use of antibiotics is forbidden. Genetically modified organisms are also strictly prohibited in the organic production.
Only three categories are allowed by the USDA when labeling organic foods
100% Organic - Means the food item is made purely and 100% of organic ingredients.
Organic Made - Means the food item is made of at least 95% organic ingredients with the remaining 5% heavily restricted and with no genetically modified organism
Made With Organic Ingredients - Means the food item is made of no lesser than 70% of organic ingredients with the remaining 30% heavily restricted and with no genetically modified organism
The USDA has set strict regulations when labeling organic foods. An organic food must contain at least 95% of organic ingredients in order for it to be labeled as "organic." Any foods that have less than 70% of organic ingredients can not make any claims on the front of the package that it is organic in any way, but may list the specific organically grown ingredients on the side panel.
The primary barrier to most consumers of buying organically grown foods is the price. Eating healthier is sometimes more expensive than the chemically treated foods. However, as the organic food industry is steadily rising as the varieties and availabilities are increasing, the prices are becoming more competitive and more appealing. We all owe it to ourselves and our families to stay healthy by eating healthy, and it should not have to cost you an arm and a leg to do so.

How Traffic Exchanges Promote Your Website
Traffic Exchanges offer a great free way of promoting your business. They should be included in your advertising arsenal but make sure that you leverage your time effectively and you don't surf for hours for those advertising credits. Try to find a traffic exchange program that will not hinder your normal surfing behavior, while advertising your business, and you will be one of the few people who maximize their time and effort with this free marketing tool.
Some traffic exchange services will make your surfing experience a bit more complex, since you would have to wait for a timer to expire in order to be awarded credits, and while that timer counts down you are forced to view another person's website from the network.
Some of these measures were taken by the traffic exchange programs in an effort to minimize or eliminate cheating, as some users have created ways to cheat the system by using software programs that auto surf and earn them credits.
Typically, participants to traffic exchanges will surf the Internet with a slight modification of how they normally would, in an effort to collect credits.
The less departure from the normal surfing experience, the more the webmaster will be willing to use that traffic exchange program. Also, the less you force a user to view your website, the more targeted they will be for that product or service. For example, someone who reads a headline in a traffic exchange and clicks on it to view the website is more targeted than someone who views it because they are forced to wait for a timer to expire.
Now that you have an overview of what traffic exchange programs are, and how they work, lets have a look at their main benefits
1. You can recruit affiliates
2. You can build a list.
3. They're free to use
Almost all traffic exchange services are free, although you can upgrade your membership to get additional benefits in some. This means that someone with a low or no budget can quickly start advertising their website for little or no cost.
4. Targeted Traffic (for Internet Marketing)
If your product is Internet marketing related then the traffic you would receive to your website will be somewhat targeted because they will be people who are also looking for ways of increasing their online income and traffic.
To capture these names and add them to your email list have a page designed to give out a freebie or a 5 part e-course in exchange for an email address. You can then follow up with these leads and sell them more stuff in the future.
If you have your own product and affiliate program, you can recruit affiliates to sell your products for a commission. The more people selling your products, the more passive income you will make.
In conclusion, Traffic Exchange programs are services that are used by webmasters to attract more traffic and to obtain more exposure for their business.
There are different types of traffic exchange programs. Many will let you surf the Internet as you normally would but require that you set your browser's start page to their default advertising page. Then, every time your browser loads one of their pages you earn advertising credits. You can also get credits for clicking on links of other members in the network. The credits you earn can be used in exchange for visitors to your site.

Smart Strategy For A Home Business
The path to profit for an online home business is usually tied closely to smart planning, smart tactics - following key steps - and a willingness to undertake the necessary action.
Creating a strategy for your home business and following it will ensure that you enjoy the journey as much as getting to your final destination.
So what is strategic business management? Very simply, it's the process of defining the goals and objectives for your business, creating an action plan so you can reach them and then following the plan.
How do you prepare a strategic plan for your business?
1. Research. Study those who've developed successful online marketing strategies and identify the techniques that you believe will prove fruitful during the coming year. One year is a long time on the internet but it offers an achievable goal.
2. Develop a plan for this year. These are the specific objectives you plan to accomplish this year that will lead you closer to your long-term goals. Remember to be "SMART" when setting your annual goals (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, Time-oriented). Include a list of the barriers that are stopping you from getting where you want to go. Figure out what resources you've already got, and what resources you need to get you past those barriers. And then create an action plan that clearly lays out how you will achieve your goals. Involve any other key persons involved in your business with this part of the planning process.
3. Have a clear vision for the business. If there were no barriers, nothing stopping you from taking your enterprise as far as you could -- what would that look like?
4. Then consider your core operating values? What are your guiding principles? In other words, why are you in business and how do you do business?
5. Now create a 3 to 5 year plan. Your long-term plan is based on the broad objectives that will help you get from where you are now, to where you want to be.
6. Create a set of milestones or benchmarks. This is very important, so that you can measure your progress.
7. Share the plan with anyone else who will be involved in the process. Your annual strategy is the roadmap that will make sure everyone ends up at the same destination -- but to be effective, everyone needs the same map!
8. Put the plan into action. Now that you have the roadmap, it's time to begin the journey.
9. Check your progress. Just like any trip, you need to check the map every now and then to be sure you're still on the right road. If something isn't working, the sooner you figure it out and make the necessary adjustments, the sooner you'll be back on track.
10. Follow the same cycle next year. (Dream, Plan, Act, Check).
On a scale of one to ten, having a good business strategy rates about a fifteen!
No matter what kind of business you have -- whether you sell products or a service, as the saying goes, "if you fail to plan, then you're really planning to fail."
Creating a strategy can mean the difference between you working 60 to 80 hours a week all year long -- and then breaking even, or worse, losing money.
On the other hand, many successful entrepreneurs who have a strategy work fewer hours and make piles of money -- and they usually attribute their success to having a strategic plan and following it.
Remember, the smarter you work, the luckier you'll get!

Some Natural Allergy Remedies
Approximately one out of every ten Americans suffers from allergies of some type. Allergies are the body's natural reaction to any foreign substance. When the body encounters one of these substances, it produces many different substances, including histamines. Once released into the body, these cause tissue swellings called allergies. Allergies can affect many different parts of the body including the lungs, skins, nasal passages, sinuses, and stomach. Symptoms of an allergic reaction can include intestinal pain, bloating, mood swings, exhaustion, throat swelling, difficulty breathing, increased heart rate, swelling or bloating of the skin, watery eyes, itchy nose, and sneezing. There are many things that cause allergies including pollen, mold, flowers, dust mites, grass, and spores. Additionally, food and chemicals can be an allergy trigger. The medical community has come up with all sorts of ways to treat allergies, but many people shy away from modern day medicine because of the extensive side effects associated with some of the treatments. It is often the case that the treatment is worse than the cure.
One natural allergy remedy is butterbur. Butterbur is a plant that grows in marshy areas and has three foot leaves. They can be found across Europe, in Asia, and in North America. It is a gentle, natural remedy that is free of antihistamines for those who wish to treat hay fever. It has been used for centuries to treat all sorts of ailments, but it has been found most effective at treating allergy style symptoms. It can also help reduce the muscle spasms associated with allergies. Butterbur is typically taken in tablet form, as the plants themselves can be toxic if not properly processed. The roots are dried, beaten to powder, and combined with other natural ingredients to create the tablet. It is best to take one tablet three times a day, but consult the packaging for more specific instructions.
Another natural allergy remedy is locally grown honey. This product can assist with hay fever and other pollen allergic reactions. It is important to start with small amounts. Approximately a teaspoon per day should help. You must first ensure the honey agrees with your body. If it doesn't, discontinue use immediately. If you notice discomfort in the gastrointestinal area, it is important not to use it again. The goal is to work up to several teaspoons per day to ward off hay fever. If you decide to use honey, be sure to do several things first. Talk to your doctor before you try any natural remedies. Remember that you might have a bad reaction to the honey. Not every treatment works for every person. You should only purchase non-pasteurized honey. The honey should be purchased from a local beekeeper or at a local farmer's market to ensure the freshest quality available is consumed. Try to make sure the honey was collected at the same time of year that you suffer from allergies. This will increase the effectiveness of this cure. To make sure you get the best results possible, use the honey one month before your typical allergy season. Using it in the midst of your difficult season won't be enough. Also, do not heat the honey. It decreases its natural healing properties. One last note, begin with a small amount and increase gradually.
Another natural allergy remedy is green tea. People who regularly consume green tea have noticed that they suffer less from sneezing, coughing, and watery eyes. Green tea is best consumed in purer forms. Don't pollute it with additives like honey, and don't use chemically processed tea either. It is important that you consume at least one cup per day. You should try to work your way up to three cups per day. It does not matter if the tea is consumed hot or cold.
An additional natural allergy remedy is Echinacea. This herb has been known to treat all sorts of problems, including hay fever. It aids in the production of interferon, which assists with decreasing the swelling in tissues, which, in turn, helps stop the runny nose and watery eyes associated with allergies.
One final natural allergy remedy is vitamin C. You become extremely susceptible to allergens if your diet does not contain enough of this essential vitamin. Vitamin C detoxifies foreign substances entering the body and strengthens your cells. Dosages can be up to one thousand milligrams per day.

Create A Marketing Edge With Positioning
Internet Marketing is largely about positioning. And a key part of positioning is building a trusting and reliable relationship with your prospects and customers. This isn't difficult to do and it helps you move towards that most desirable of states - a marketing edge.
It pays to know as much about your market as you can. Communicate with your market about the ups and downs, advantages and disadvantages, progress and problems associated with it. Do what they do, read what they read, know their likes and dislikes, search and study resources.
Above all, look for answers and innovations. Then find a way to use them in your marketing and advertising. People will always be interested in new and better things and are drawn to those who have them.
This will not only help in positioning yourself as an expert, but also in finding ways to position your products or service as having unique benefits. You do this by finding unsolved needs and thinking up solutions. Being the first at something also affirms you as an expert par excellence.
If you do these things, you and your business will be positioned. You will have the MARKETING EDGE.
Let's say your market is people who like to fish. What they buy are reels, poles, lure...things they need to fish with. You could tell them the Best Ways To Fish For Salmon, Bass, Trout...The Fine Art Of Fly-Tying...How To Cast For The Best Catch...How To Find The Best Fishing Spots...Cleaning And Cooking Fish In A Snap.
If you sell reels, poles, lure, etc. - then such reports will attract readership from your target market - the people most likely to buy from you.
Chances are if those readers found something useful in your report, then they would be interested in reading more. Give it to them - have them sign up on your list.
That is how positioning works, and the reward is great. Having a list built up of targeted, loyal, and responsive prospects is the very best thing a business can have.
Not only can you tell them how to catch more fish with the least possible effort, but also how your products can help them to do it even more so. Since you are an expert, it's only natural that you would have the greatest tools and tackle.
There is a special thing about having a list, so treat it special. Consider it for what it will be - the marketing life-blood of your business.
Most businesses, if they keep lists, just have lists of customers who bought from them, and yet do not even send them as much as a Thank You Note or Christmas Card.
The people on your list will have a more connected relationship with you. You are not just a seller to them, and they are not just a customer to you. They will look forward to contact from an expert giving out the latest fishing tips and you will be ready for any questions they might bring you. Your answer will most likely be of interest with your whole list, so share it with all of them.
The more you can make the people feel privileged to be on your list the better. You can give your list exclusive deals, free offers, deep discounts, holiday specials, even the chance to sign-up for a paid subscription service where they get the meanest down and dirty underground secrets of fishing success where the fish don't stand a chance in Neptune.
This works for any marketing niche you happen to be in, not just fish. Positioning is the very best way to 'fish' for prospects in your market. Lure them with the knowledge and service you provide, and soon you have your own stocked pond full of hungry fish that you can catch over and over again.
Positioning is the best plan that any business can implement.
Positioning is putting yourself in the right place in the eyes of your market. You get your market to know you as an expert that can be trusted. You get looked on as a reliable resource for information.
Positioning is easy to do. Just give free information of interest to your market. Your market is the people who would be likely to buy the services or products you offer.

Some Helpful Tips For Dieting
If you are like most you will have to diet sometime in your life. I know I have dieted off and on for years going all the way back to my bodybuilding days when strict tuna and water diets were the means to attaining as low a body fat measurement as possible. I would like to share with you some of the things I have learned over the years to help with the dieting proces
Regardless of the diet you choose it is essential that you set goals for what you are trying to achieve. When I say goals, I mean written goals. If you don't write your goals down your chances of success are almost nil. Also, set rewards along with the goals. If you reach a certain weight goal in a week reward yourself with a favorite snack, in a small portion of course. Another thing you can do is reward yourself with some new clothe
Now, let's get into the dieting itself. Many diets are doomed to fail because they make you hungry. Yeah, I know everyone tells you that if you are trying to lose weight you have to be hungry, but you don't have to be feeling like you are starving all the time.
One way to avoid this on any diet is to split your meals into smaller portions and eat every 3-4 hours instead. This is what all professional athletes do because it makes the most efficient use of the food you are taking in.
Another simple method is to realize that your stomach's size is naturally about the size of your fist. Knowing this, when planning a diet the portions you are consuming should be about the size of your hand during each meal. Most of us eat five or six times this amount.
One time tested method I have used in addition to the smaller meals is to drink lots of water. I know you have heard this stressed over and over but not only is it crucial for removing toxins when you are dieting, but it will also help you to feel fuller.
When choosing a diet, investigate it fully and also ask your personal physician about it. There are a lot of scams out there, especially on the internet. If someone tells you that you can lose ten pounds overnight or even every week, don't believe it. The maximum you will lose on a long term diet is around three pounds per week. You have to remember, it took a while to put it on and it will take awhile to take it off too.

Lower Your Cholesterol Naturally
If you are overweight, the chances are almost 100% that you have a problem with high cholesterol. You can lower your LDL and elevate your HDL just by dropping some pounds. Eat fewer fatty foods and more fruits, vegetables, grains and beans and it's a pretty good bet that you will slowly but surely lose weight.
Include your family
Eating habits carry through to adulthood. Get your children on a healthy eating pattern early. Don't begin until they are at least 2 years of age, however. Babies need extra fat calories to develop properly.
Snack all you want
Yep, that's what I said. Snack several times a day on low fat foods. Yogurt, fruit, vegetables, bagels and whole grain breads and cereals are excellent for snacking. In fact, there is evidence that points to lower cholesterol levels in people who eat several small meals a day. Eating often can keep hormones like insulin from rising and signaling your body to make more cholesterol. Make certain that your total intake of calories doesn't go up when you eat more often.
Nuts to you!
Do you like nuts? If you do, sprinkle a few on your cereal, bake them into muffins or pancakes or add them to casseroles or stir-fries. Walnuts and almonds are especially good. Eating about three ounces of walnuts a day is shown to decrease blood cholesterol levels by 10% more than an already low fat, low cholesterol diet. Walnuts are high in fat, but it is mostly polyunsaturated fat, which is the kind that lowers cholesterol. Another study shows that about three ounces of almonds which are rich in monounsaturated fat, lowers LDL by 9%!
Eat chocolate
Aha! All you chocoholics rejoice! Studies indicate that the fat in chocolate is stearic acid and has no effect on cholesterol levels. The chocolate does not increase LDL and could raise HDL a wee bit. But chocolate is still high in fat and calories so don't go overboard.
Drink fruit juices
You may have read about the low rate of heart disease in France. It led researchers to believe that the French habit of drinking red wine with meals contributes to this. Apparently some of the non-alcoholic ingredients in red wine raises HDL and suppresses the body from producing LDL. Purple grape juice works the same way. It will work like red wine to lower the fat level in your blood. The LDL lowering effect of red wine and grape juice comes from a compound that grapes produce normally to resist mold. The darker the grape juice, the better. Grapefruit juice does the same thing and it may also help your body get rid of that nasty plaque that we discussed earlier.
Eat garlic
Cholesterol lowering effects of garlic have been demonstrated repeatedly in people with normal and high cholesterol. Eat all the garlic you can. It also seems to raise the HDL levels as well. If you are worried about the odor, take the tablets instead. They have proven to be nearly as effective as the cooked or raw cloves.

Lower Cholesterol With Supplements And Eliminating Some Items From Your Diet
Take niacin - carefully
Remember as one of the B vitamins, it is proven effective for lowering LDL and raising HDL. It is also one of the cheapest drugs available for lowering cholesterol. But, without medical supervision it may not be totally safe. A dose high enough to lower cholesterol can cause extremely high blood sugar or liver damage.
Take vitamin E
Studies indicate that vitamin E may have a positive impact on lowering cholesterol when taken in fairly large quantities - up to 800 IU per day. This is more than you can get from your diet alone. Larger amounts do not seem to cause any harm. Further studies showed that even amounts of just 25 IU per day helps in preventing LDL from sticking to blood vessel walls. That amount is only slightly higher than the recommended daily amount (RDA) of 12 to 15 IU. It's interesting to note that even that small amount has an impact on preventing that hardening of the arterie
Take Calcium
One study indicates that when 56 people took a calcium carbonate supplement, their total cholesterol went down 4 percent and their HDL increased 4 percent. That was taking a dosage of 400 milligrams of calcium three times a day with no harmful effects reported. That does refer to calcium carbonate.
Take a multivitamin - it can't hurt
While you are building your calcium and vitamin E intake, remember the old standby, vitamin C. It is the number one immune system booster and also drives up HDL. A study of people who took more than 60 milligrams of vitamin C per day (60 milligrams is the RDA) had highest LDL level
Fill up on fiber
Remember several years back when oat bran was the latest craze for lowering cholesterol? Later studies arrived at inconsistent results, but the medical community does agree that soluble fiber, the kind found in oat bran, does help lower LDL and raise HDL. As little as three grams per day of fiber from oat bran or oatmeal can be effective. There are 7.2 grams of soluble fiber per 100 grams of dry oat bran and five grams of soluble fiber per 100 grams of dry oatmeal. There are other sources of fiber as well such as barley, beans, peas and many other vegetables. Corn fiber is also good for reducing LDL, lowering it by as much as 5 percent in a recent study. Researchers used 20 grams of corn fiber a day. That would be a bit difficult for the average user when you take into account that one serving of corn has three grams of corn fiber. But, every little bit does make a difference. Pectin, which is found in fruits like apples and prunes, reduces cholesterol even better than oat bran, as does psyllium which is the fiber you find in many breakfast cereals and bulk laxatives.
Reduce sugar intake
Many people don't realize that sugar affects cholesterol and definitely affects triglycerides. Sugar stimulates insulin production, which in turn increases triglycerides. Men in particular, seem to be sensitive to this effect from sugar. The mineral chromium which helps to stabilize blood sugar, can also raise the level of HDL. 100 mcg of chromium three times daily can help to improve your cholesterol level
Eliminate alcohol
The jury is still out and the different schools of thought are still at odds regarding the benefit or lack of benefit to consuming alcohol. This suggestion has nothing to do with our previous discuss on red wine. A moderate amount may be helpful. The problem is that to one person a moderate amount might be a glass of wine with their meal, while to another it might be a half bottle of Scotch! Anything above the arbitrary "moderate" amount elevates serum cholesterol triglycerides and your uric acid levels as well as potentially increasing blood pressure all of which promote heart disease. So, the best bet would be to eliminate it totally.
Exercise regularly
There is positive evidence that exercise can lower LDL cholesterol and boost HDL cholesterol. Both aerobic exercise such as walking, jogging, swimming, bicycling and cross country skiing and strength training like lifting weights or using weight machines all promote the improvement of cholesterol levels. An analysis of 11 studies on weight training showed that this exercise lowered LDL by 13 percent and raised HDL by 5 percent. If you lift weights, use light to moderate weights and do many repetitions.
Eliminate caffeine
We Americans definitely have a love affair with our coffee! People who drink large amounts of caffeine (more than 6 cups a day) are far more prone to elevated cholesterol. That connection does not hold for tea drinkers. Limit your coffee intake to no more than one cup a day and eliminate caffeinated sodas entirely.

How To House Train Your Dog
Potty training a new puppy may seem like an uphill struggle but by sticking to a strict schedule it should take you no more than two weeks to fully house train a young puppy. The difficulty can lie when older dogs have developed this habit. The act of dog house training older dogs is very similar to that of training a puppy. If you have adopted a dog or your older dog suddenly begins using the house a toilet then the first thing you should do is see the vet in case there are medical reasons, but failing this then a strict training regime will do the job.
Older dogs can wait much longer than puppies once they are trained but there are still certain times of the day when they are more likely to need to go that other times. The best way to train any dog is to help them do the right thing and then praise them for it. It is very likely that there will still be the occasional accident but this is to be expected. If you catch them in the act or immediately after they've finished then you should verbally reprimand him with a firm 'NO' and then take him outside. If he's still in the act then don't wait for him to finish.
Once outside let him finish and then give him lots of praise for being a good boy. Once he gets used to being reprimanded for going inside and praised for going outside he will be much more likely to behave properly for you in the future. Dogs generally need to go about half an hour after meal times, early in the morning and last thing at night. Make sure you let them out or walk them during this time.
If you find that they are going more frequently than you expected and are regularly making mistakes in the house then you need to take them out much more often. While it is possible to leave them four hours or more, if they need to go more regularly then you need to let them out more regularly. If you need to leave your dog while you go to work out go out and you do not think they are trusted enough to manage this amount of time then you can place them in a confined area that is easy to clean and much easier to survey when you return.

The Importance of Dog Obedience Training
In many ways, dog training offers as much of a learning curve for the owner as it does for the dog. When you first sit down to try and teach your new puppy that using the floor is bad and they should be going outside you may feel completely overwhelmed by the entire process. However, the first step of any training is obedience training. Instead of teaching your dog specific actions, obedience training will teach them that you are in command and it will also teach you the same thing.
The best time to begin obedience training is when your dog is a puppy. Some may believe this to be cruel but when you take on the responsibility of owning a puppy you are taking the mantle of its mother. When a puppy misbehaves it gets a warning from mum and when it does well it would normally get rewarded. Because you are now the mother of the relationship it is important that you take on this role and you do so as soon as possible.
The best way to learn the very basics of obedience training is by using a local training school. This will not only arm you with the appropriate exercises to use when at home but it will also begin the important step of socializing your dog with other dogs and with other people. If you want a happy and friendly dog then socializing is absolutely essential.
The two important aspects of obedience training a puppy are reward and reprimand. Note that the reprimand you give should never be physical. A verbal command or a noise of some sort will be more than enough but it is also important that you do not use your dog's name as a reprimand. It may be difficult to get to grips with this at first because if he or she misbehaves your natural instinct is to shout their name. If you do this, the dog will become confused and when you try to call them back to you they may believe they are being shouted at.
Some obedience training professionals suggest using a barking sound like 'BAAHH'. You may feel silly using this in the street but it is effective in the long run. If you do not feel comfortable with this then you need to settle on one word that you will always use. A word like 'stop' should do the trick perfectly adequately. When you first start training, you may want to use edible rewards combined with a verbal reward as well such as 'good boy'. In the end you will move on to just use the verbal reward and that will be enough for your dog.

Are You Overwhelmed By Paperwork?
We're constantly being overwhelmed by paperwork despite the fact that this is the electronic age and supposedly the need for paper disappeared with the introduction of the personal computer! Whether at home or work, in reality, we still like to read things in 'hard copy' so paper is never going to disappear.
Here are some ways to help you get the paperwork back under control
The golden rule to dealing with paper is to do something with it the first time you touch it. I don't quite hold with the 'handle it only once' statement, as that doesn't really work in practice but trying to avoid shuffling it from one pile to another is definitely to be recommended.
First point - Go out and buy as many folder, trays, boxes and files as you need to organise your paperwork. You should have separate files or folders for action items, accounts, tax information, client information, invoices, reading etc.
When the post lands on your doormat or the paper comes into your office, decide what to do with it there and then. As you open the morning post, sort it into the appropriate folder/tray.
Action - pay a bill, make a call, make an appointment, fill in a form, sign a document etc. Deal with it immediately or as soon as possible.
If this needs further organisation, create additional files/folders/trays for bills, phone calls, clients and place the paper in the appropriate place. Then all you need to do is to go to this one place.
Read - magazines, reports etc. Put to one side to read later. Again, subdividing into files such as Urgent, Review, Business and Fun might help. Set aside time in your day/week to do the reading. Take a break at lunchtime to read through some paperwork or magazine.
Carry some reading material with you for those quiet moments when you're sitting waiting. Don't let things build up - if something's remained in your unread pile for a period of time, chuck it out. Cancel any magazines that you don't have time to read anymore.
File - statements, receipts, articles etc. Place them to one side in a tray for filing later. Receipts and accounts information should be filed separately so they can be easily dealt with when you're working on your accounts. This is not something that needs to be dealt with immediately and it's the one area that tends to build up and doesn't get the intention it should, so don't let it build up. Clear your filing tray on a weekly basis or perhaps at the end of each day.
Bin - junk mail, flyers etc. This can get thrown out as soon as you receive it. Recycle any paper you can, rather than just chuck it in the bin.
Of course your first task each day is 'planning'. Schedule the time you need during the day for all your tasks - clear your 'Action' folder and make it a habit to clear this by the end of each day. When are you going to go through your 'Reading' file and when do you do your filing?
Tackling a BIG Filing Pile!
If you have a large pile of filing or several piles taking up space on your desk or in your office, set aside a couple of hours in your diary NOW and book in a time to tackle it. This is a useful task to do at the end of the day or if you need to clear a backlog, perhaps at a weekend or even one evening (OK, this should be an exception, I want to reduce your hours not extend them!).
Clear a large space to work in - the kitchen table or the living room floor. Go through it and sort each piece of paper as you go into appropriate folders, files or 'sub-piles'.
- Bin anything you no longer need.
- Action anything that's lurking!
- Put to one side anything that needs to be read.
Depending on how old this pile is (!) you might want to ask yourself, if I haven't read it by now, how relevant is it? ... Bin it!
You may end up surrounded by several piles of bank statements, credit cards statements, client info, paid invoices etc. but at least now you can pick them up in one group and file them all away together.
It's immensely satisfying to reduce a large pile of paperwork that's been glaring at you, into a larger pile that ends up in the bin and a smaller pile that you now need to do something with i.e. file!
A couple of hours should be all that's needed, even for a large pile and if you can't file it all away in one hit, do what you can in the time you've got, then make an effort to clear a little bit each day or even 2-3 times throughout the day and you'll be amazed how quickly it will soon be gone!
Reduce the incoming flood.
Get as much paperwork as you can electronically. Most bank statements and utility bills are now available online and can be stored electronically or printed off - but only if you need them.
Cancel subscriptions to any newspapers or magazines that you no longer need.
Read magazines and newspapers online or go to your local library. Most publications with a website will publish their most recent articles online. Newspaper sites have searchable archive
Subscribe to the Mailing Preference Service to avoid unnecessary junk mail coming through your door. I significantly reduced the amount of junk mail I received once I'd signed up.
Always tick the box on any forms to stop promotional mail, offers or your address being sent to 3rd parties.
You can recycle old newspapers and magazines by either taking them to your local recycling point to local schools, hospitals, surgeries etc.
How could you streamline your office to reduce what comes in and how much you have to handle in the first place?
Take some time to think about all the paperwork that you have to deal with on a daily basis and come up with a solution to ensure that piece of paper ends up where it should first time round.
If you'd like to find out more about how you could put some systems and strategies in place to enable you to be more organised, then call or email me for a free consultation.

How Blogs Can Help You With Your Online Business
1. With a blog, you can easily brand yourself as an expert in your subject area and promote yourself all over the net. Blogs have taken a life of its own, and there are many blog directories springing to life.
Each blog directory is classified according to various topics of interest, and you can submit your blog to the major blog directorie
You can then easily attract readers to your area of specialisation, and slowly brand yourself
as the expert from the many readers who visit these blog directories each day.
2. Search engine will rank your web site higher if you have a blog on your site. This is because search engine "spider bots" like fresh content, and with a blog, you can just spend 5 - 10 mins per day posting what you want to share for that day and that's it.
Do that on a consistent basis, and the search engine spider bots will come back to your site more
often. Having a blog on your own site is so simple my 9 year old cousin can do it, and you will
learn how in my multimedia course.
3. Blogs allow you to build and foster a closer relationship with your visitors and readers,
building trust and rapport. Blogs allow readers to post comments, and it promotes interaction.
With good relationship with your readers it will be easier for you when it comes to recommending
products and services because they trust you.
4.Blogs are a one stop push button publishing system.
You can easily set up a blog with Google's Blogger in three easy steps. Likewise, now that Wordpress has offered free Wordpress blog accounts, you can again easily set up your free Wordpress account.
With a blogging account, you can easily publish anything online, unlike the usual way of publishing where you have to create and edit the page using some web site editing software and uploading it to your hosting account.
And with Wordpress, you can instantly link all your posts and pages together, unlike your standard web site where you have to link web pages manually.
Blog saves time and is a quick and easy way to build an online presence.
5. Incoming Links
Blogs, especially Wordpress blogs has a feature called trackback. Trackback basically allows someone to post a comment on another person's blog with a link
pointing back to your own blog.
This is one way to get incoming links to your site. And we know that the more incoming links you have to your site, the higher your site will rank for certain keyword
These are just some of the powerful ways Blogs can help with your online busines
These are just some reasons how blogs can help you in your online business.

Affiliate Marketing: How to Generate Residual Income
Usually business knowledge is passed down from one generation to the next. Successful businessmen teach their children and successors all the "tricks of the trade" as they mature and at the proper time, pass the reigns to the company. Similarly, the best way to learn to generate residual income through affiliate marketing opportunities would be to learn from those who have become successful.
Sitetosell.com was created in 1998 by Dr. Ken Envoy. The main product is call Site Build It and allows users to create a web site, optimize it for search engines, and set up proper hosting. The affiliate marketing program was launched shortly after, and is regarded as one of the most highly regarded in the affiliate marketing industry. The "5 Pillar Affiliate Program" offered something that had never been offered before life time commissions, complex affiliate tracking systems, and not allowing customers to sign up as affiliates
After much research, some years of study, and a complete understanding of his affiliate program, Dr. Envoy decided to write a course to teach affiliates to generate residual income and increase their "conversion rate," which is the percentage of how many people actually purchased the product presented by the affiliate.
Another expert, Alan Gardyne, created a website with a periodical affiliate newsletter that is read by tens of thousands of people, Associateprograms.com. Gardyne is an expert who presents the best ways to increase affiliate conversion rates, highlights well-paying affiliate programs, and gives his personal opinions on affiliate marketing.
An assistant hired by Gardyne put Sitetosell.com's 5 Pillar Affiliate Program to the test. Using Gardyne's affiliate knowledge couple with the affiliate marketing courses compiled by Dr. Envoy, the assistant successfully made almost $6000 in the first 12 months on commissions, with just one affiliate program. Keep in mind there are literally tens of thousands of affiliate programs on the internet!
As you can see, affiliate marketing can create large amounts of residual income if you have the proper training and know-how. It is important to be taught the affiliate business from those who have been there and know the tricks. Study up, take affiliate marketing courses, and attend some affiliate marketing seminars and you could be the next affiliate marketing millionaire!

A Closer Look At Day Trading
Day trading is a controversial word in the world of stock trading. Many see it as a way to make a living off of the fast paced stock market. The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) warns against the practice and cautions against getting involved in the practice.
Just what is day trading and why does it cause many to be cautious? Day trading is the practice of rapidly buying and selling stock throughout the day in the hopes to profit from the marginal changes in the market in that specific day. Ideally, this practice allows investors to profit from the fractional increases in the market.
Day traders look at a certain set of criteria when determining whether a stock is suitable for day trading. First, the stock must have a high liquidity. This means that the stock in question has a large numbers of buyers and sellers. The liquidity allows day traders to quickly acquire and then sell stock. Liquidity is based on the volume of transactions on the market, the number of outstanding shares, the total number of shareholders and the number of market makers. Most stocks on the NYSE and NASDAQ have a high degree of liquidity.
A day trader also looks at volume individually, in addition to using it as criteria for liquidity. To be eligible for day trading, a stock should trade at least 500,000 shares a day. Stocks with 500,000 trades a day or more will allow the day trader to acquire or sell a large amount of stock without greatly affecting the price of the stock. Volatility is another factor in evaluating a stock for day trading. The term refers to the actual or expected price movement of the stock. This movement is up or down over a period of time. Day traders look at the volatility of stocks over an individual day. Stocks that change price frequently over one trading day are ideal candidates for day trading. A fluctuation of at least $2.00 per day is recommended.
Finally, a day trader evaluates the price transparency of stock. This term refers to the ability to gather information on the order flow of a stock. Also called market depth, price transparency helps the day trader determine just how much money there is to be made on a certain stock. The Nasdaq II quote system offers information on all bids. Day traders who arrange to access the NASDAQ level II quote screens can assess the strength or weakness of a stock and determine its movement in price.
While day trading is completely legal and entirely ethical, it is highly risky. Day traders usually buy on borrowed money with the hope that they will obtain higher profits through their acquisitions and sales. People who are deemed "pattern day traders" by the NASDAQ and NYSE must have at least $25,000 in their accounts and can only trade in margin accounts. Margin accounts are brokerage accounts in which the broker lends the investor cash to purchase securities. If the value of the stock drops significantly, the investor is required to deposit more cash to cover the margin or sell the stock.
The SEC warns against day trading and has taken many steps to inform people of the associated risks.
The first few months a vast majority of day traders suffer massive financial losses and only a few make it through to become profit-making day traders. For this reason, day traders should only invest money that they can afford to lose. They should never use money for necessities such as living expenses, retirement accounts or second mortgages.
Keep in mind that day traders do not own stocks for longer than a few minutes at most. Stocks are never kept overnight because of extreme risk of prices changing to the detriment of the trader. Day traders do not invest, rather, they speculate on the movement in price of a stock throughout the day.
There are many websites whose sole purpose is to profit off those who wish to become day traders. These websites promise quick returns and offer "hot tips" to their members for a fee. The sources are most often paid to make these recommendations and should be avoided.

Simple Steps To Puppy Obedience Training
The best way to start your puppy with obedience training is to visit a training school. Not only will puppy become well versed in the required commands and actions, but you will also learn what is required from both of you. If you have never obedience trained a dog before it is unlikely you will instantly and automatically know what to do. Another advantage of training school is the social aspect. Meeting other dogs and other people at an early age can prevent your puppy from becoming frightened and possibly aggressive in the future.
Once you have attended a few classes, you should continue the work at home. You may want to continue with dog obedience training classes for the social aspect but either way it will be necessary for you to continue with the training when you are at home otherwise puppy will never learn anything.
Set a time every day to complete the training and work on several different areas of obedience. By giving this variety to your puppy you are still teaching him or her some of the commands and actions but they won't become bored and let their attention wander.
As with all forms of dog training it is vital that you use reprimands and rewards in appropriate quantities. When you are first starting out, bear in mind that your puppy does not yet know what is right and what is wrong. They will not know without you telling them. This essentially means that you aren't reprimanding you are informing. You do need to use a reprimand though, even in the very early stages but the reprimand should only ever be a vocal one. Do not use a physical reprimand because this not only scares your puppy but also can lead to aggressive traits when they grow up.
Teaching your dog some simple tricks is an excellent way to teach obedience training. Sit down, shake paw and similar tricks are not only cute and effective as a party piece but they also show that your puppy is submissive towards you. It certainly isn't necessary to teach them extreme submissive tricks such as the submissive roll. Puppies love to do tricks and they love to get heaps of praise for doing something well and this is the most effective way that they will learn anything so make the most of every single action they do that is correct but try not to dwell on the mistakes for too long.

Why You Should Use A Dog Collar
The humble dog collar is much more than just a fashion accessory or somewhere to hang the little embossed bone with your phone number on. A dog collar helps you walk your dog and is also there in case of any emergency where you might need to grab them quickly. Before micro-chipping animals was introduced, the dog collar was the only means of identification. By putting a simple name tag with some basic details you could usually be assured that if your beloved family pet went missing it should not be long before they were returned to your loving arms once again.
It is important that you fit a dog collar properly. This doesn't just mean that you should make sure the buckle is done up properly, you should also make sure you have the right size of collar and one that is adequate to your needs. There are a wide variety available but presuming that you have a well behaved dog who is good on the lead and doesn't pull too much you should be able to take your pick. Choker chains are not necessary for dogs unless they are particularly badly behaved when walking on the lead.
A choker chain is a series of metal loops that attach around the dog's neck and tighten when they pull. The action of the chain tightening will usually be enough to stop any pulling. However, some dogs do not react well to choker chains. The metal links banging together can make a particularly harsh noise that some dogs will find disturbing. This will not only stop them pulling but could also lead to them dreading walk time, instead of looking forward to the exercise and fresh air.
Find a dog collar that sits snugly around your dog's neck without being too tight. You want to prevent them from slipping the collar but you don't want to strangle them in the process. Buying an ill fitting dog collar will inevitably mean that you will struggle to get it to fit properly and in turn this will lead to problems when walking and potentially much greater problems in the long run.
Specialist dog collars are also available that help with difficult dogs. A harness should only be used while walking your dog and if you have a dog who pulls a lot then a harness or a halter will prevent too much pulling. Again, this should be fitted properly otherwise you may be causing more problems than you are actually remedying.

How To Get A Dog Training Certification
Until the creation of the Certification Council for Pet Dog Trainers in 2001, there was no nationally available certification process for dog trainers. The CCPDT's certification program is the first national certification for dog trainers. Many schools teach dog trainers and offer certification for their specific programs. These certificates, therefore, reflect the teachings and quality of a specific school. Other organizations offer take-home tests for "certification." These tests are not monitored, nor are the testing processes standardized.
Candidates who pass the exam earn the title Certified Pet Dog Trainer and may use the designation, "CPDT," after their names. As creators of the examination, the task force members have also earned the use of the CPDT designation. All certified trainers must earn continuing education credits to maintain their designations. They must also adhere to a strict Code of Ethics in their dog training practice
Why would you as a dog owner care about dog training certification? You care about your dog. You want a positive experience for both you and your four-footed friend. Whether you are looking for a training class or private training, you are looking for a high-quality, safe, and effective training experience.
When you choose a Certified Pet Dog Trainer, you can be confident that you are working with a professional who has the knowledge and expertise to make your investment in dog training safe, effective, and even fun! Certified Pet Dog Trainers have dog training skills as well as instructor skills to enhance the experience and success for you and your pet dog.
Certified Pet Dog Trainers have earned this credential by demonstrating their knowledge and experience in dog training. A Certified Pet Dog Trainer stays informed of current knowledge in the field and is familiar with the latest, most effective training techniques and equipment. A Certified Pet Dog Trainer adheres to a strict Code of Ethics.
The Certification Council for Pet Dog Trainers is committed to maintaining rigorous testing and recertification systems to provide dog owners with information to help them make an informed choice when selecting a dog trainer.
So the next time you need a dog trainer, look for a professional with the Certified Pet Dog Trainer credential. Your dog will thank you!

Why Use Blogs Instead Of Website
Why would you use Blogs instead of a web site for your online business?
You can definitely continue using a website in your online business.
Combining a website and a Blog however offer a number of superior advantages in terms of traffic generation, marketing and efficiency which a stand-alone website cannot do.
(a) Automatic push-button publishing.
Blogs are the easiest and cheapest way to have an online presence. For example, if you're using Blogger, your Blog is hosted free by Blogger. Blogs allow you to publish your website without the need to know about any technical or programming issues such as HTML, FrontPage, FTP and so on.
Blogs provide a simple editorial interface. All you need to do is write your content, and publish it just by clicking the 'publish' button in most cases, and you're done.
(b) Fosters relationship building, trust and 'stickyness'
Unlike websites, which are static, Blogs allows interaction between you and your readers. Blogs have a commenting function, and if turned on, it allows readers and visitors to post their comments, thoughts or opinions to a particular article you have written.
Constant interaction with your readers builds a feeling of community and 'stickyness' factor. You can then recommend products more easily to them, and they would be more ready and willing to accept your product or services.
(c) Increase search engine ranking
Almost every major search engine has a software program called a 'bot' that searches or 'spiders' websites online to find new content which it can then bring back to update the search engine databases.
Basically what this means is the more frequently you update your site, the more frequently the search engine 'bot' will visit your site, and this helps to boost your search engine rankings.
If you make regular postings to your Blog, you can be sure that search engines will visit your Blog again and again.
You can then place links of your other websites in your Blog and these will get indexed quickly by the search engines.
Of course you could also update your existing web site with new content, but you would have to go through a more technical process, that of using an HTML editor or FrontPage and uploading through FTP and so on.
(d) Free listing in Google, Yahoo and MSN
The traditional way of getting your website listed in these three major search engines Google, Yahoo and MSN is slow and inefficient.
A listing in Yahoo directory alone would cost you $299.
However, with the inclusion of RSS feeds by these search engines, you can now gain a 'backdoor' listing which is legal and free. If you have an RSS feed, you can have it included in Yahoo and MSN and your website will be immediately listed in these major search engines within 24 hours!
My video e-course shows you the step-by-step process on how to do this.
(e) Syndication Power
The most powerful feature of a Blog is its syndication function. Blogs can be turned into RSS feeds, and most Blogging service providers have this built-in function.
It is just a matter of turning it on from within your account.
Once it's turned into an RSS feed, you can syndicate your Blog contents by

How To Select A Good Dog Trainer
If you are looking to get your first puppy or your first dog or if you have a dog that has a particular problem then you may want to look at using the services of a professional dog trainer. A trained dog trainer will have a great many tricks under his or her sleeve that can help in even the most difficult of circumstance
For the first time dog owner, a dog trainer will not simply train your dog to perform the actions you want because it will be you who will take on this mantle when you return home. For this reason, a good dog trainer will teach you to how to train your dog. However, there are a number of dog trainers available who can help with training you and your pet. You will want to find the best available and the first decision you should make is whether to have one on one dog training or group session
As with many forms of training, one on one training offers the most direct and the most precise results. You will be able to concentrate on the things you want to and go at a pace that suits you, your dog and the trainer. One on one training sessions can usually be conducted either on the trainer's premises or in your own home. Training within your own house means your dog will not be affected by the surroundings and should find it easier to concentrate.
Group sessions may not be geared directly towards you and your dog specifically but they do offer you an excellent opportunity to socialize your dog. By letting him meet other dogs and other people he may find it difficult to concentrate at first on the activities you need him to perform but eventually he will get used to the added distractions and this will make it much easier walking him in the long run.
Regardless of the type of dog trainer you use, it is vital that you continue what you have learnt when you return home as well as simply when you are at training lessons. By reinforcing everything you have learnt in this way the training will be much more effective. Set aside a time every single day to practice specific things but always maintain the techniques on a regular basis in everyday life. It might not really matter to you if your dog doesn't do as told when you are at home on your own but letting him do something one time and then reprimanding him for it the next will inevitably confuse him.

Marketing Benefits Of Using Rss Feeds For Businesses
What are the marketing benefits of using Rss feeds for businesses?
Before the advent of blogs and rss feeds, common marketing strategies used by businesses include
- pay per click
- articles or ezine
- search engine optimization
- press release
- 'viral' marketing
- email marketing
With the advent of blogs and rss feeds, we are now presented with a new form of marketing which businesses can use in marketing their services or product
Rss feeds are not meant to replace the strategies discussed earlier, on the other hand, it can be used to compliment and support existing marketing strategies like email marketing.
Perhaps you still don't realize or fully understand the power of RSS Feeds as a marketing tool.
After all, email, articles, pay per click and so on work fine, don't they?
Unfortunately, the truth is
1. It's getting harder to send e-mails to the prospect's inbox because of SPAM filters. This means your marketing message is not read by your subscribers, which translate to lost opportunities and profit
2. People are getting numbed by the amount of e-mails they receive everyday.
3. People are not reading their e-mails, again affecting your marketing campaign
4. It's getting harder to get people to opt-in or subscribe to your newsletter or content.
With RSS feeds, this changes the playing field
1. RSS feeds can bypasses email - Eat your hearts out! Rss feeds can be read by desktop software and delivered right to your prospect everytime they turn on their PC
2. RSS feeds allow you to syndicate content rich news in your niche market and attract targeted prospects
3. People who subscribe to newsfeeds are generally in the higher income bracket and educated. They want to find news and information to solve their problems. Can that person be YOU?
4. E-mail doesn't allow yourself to be branded all over the Net. With RSS feeds, your content gets circulated/sydnicated and you can brand yourself as an expert.
5. RSS feeds can be submitted to RSS feeds directories, which will list your site within 24 hours which measn more traffic for you.
Did you know that with Rss feeds, you can also gain a backdoor listing in three major search engines, namely Google, Yahoo and MSN?
6. If you have many products, you can turbo charge your Affiliate program by offering data feeds to your affiliates. This way your affiliates can get notified of the latest product change
As you can see, Rss feeds offer a new dimension and benefits for businesses wishing to grow and expand their market.

Check this out before you buy Golf Clubs
Before you purchase a set of used golf clubs, you must remember to check the quality of the clubs and consider how often you will use them.
Buying used golf clubs is an excellent option for golfers who don't intend to play that much, as well as totally new golfers who want to give golf a shot.
The first thing to look for on a set of used golf clubs is the club heads. Clubs that have been used a lot will have a shiny worn spot in the center. This is a problem that can affect the flight of the golf ball.
The next item to check is the grip. Keep an eye out for cracks and splits. Worn areas in the grip are also telltale signs of a heavy club use. You won't want to have to re-grip the clubs re-gripping can easily set you back another $5 to $15.
Next, you should check the set together to make sure that they are all parts of one original set. You don't want different models in the same set.
Once you have done all this, you should check the price. There are people out there who will charge more for a used set of clubs than a brand new set with the same model.
Always shop around first and get an idea of the brand you want make sure you see the average price of the set as a whole. If you are picking up a set of clubs from a garage sale, there is always the option to haggle the price down and save yourself some cash.
You won't really know how good the clubs are unless you get to test them. Don't be rushed into making a purchase, especially for a set of golf clubs that might not work with your own personal swing. Ask the shop attendant or seller at a garage sale if it's okay to give the clubs a demo run. Get a feel for the golf clubs and see if they work for you.

Getting Your Short Fiction Published: The Hard Truth
The short story market is one of the hardest to break into. There are thousands of well-known writers pumping out short fiction, and thousands more just like you, struggling to get themselves published for the first time. But there are several things you can do to set yourself apart from the rest and start working your way to the head of the pack.
Attention to Detail
First things first, make sure your manuscript is professional. Use a plain, 12-point font, times new roman is the norm. Double-line space the entire manuscript and only left-justify your text. Use a minimum one inch margin on both sides of the page, and top and bottom. Put your name, address and contact number in the top right-hand corner of the coversheet, put your story's title and your byline in the centre of the page. Rights being offered should go on the bottom-left corner and approximate word count on the right. Thereafter, make sure the first three words of the title and the page number appears in the page header on the right-hand side. Place your title about two-thirds of the way down the first page, your byline immediately underneath, and start your story one double-spaced line below that.
If this manuscript was for a short story competition you would normally need to remove the coversheet and delete any occurrences of your name from the final draft. Though you should always check the competition's guidelines as some do differ.
If you can submit an error-free, professional-looking document, you will already have beat out all the dreamers who think they'll get their story noticed if it's printed on pink paper, bordered with little stars, or hand-written in old gothic. None of these strategies will give you an edge they will only make you look too eccentric to be worth an editor's trouble.
Choosing a Title
Though an editor may want to change your title, a title can sometimes make or break your entire submission. Don't alienate yourself by selecting a title like 'My Dog Rover,' or 'The Story of My Father.' Instead, go for something mysterious or edgy, like 'Bark the Dead Down,' or 'The Meanest Old Bastard from Here to Melbourne.'
Know When to Take Instruction
Get on-line, not just for e-publishing, but for print publications as well. Find out what your target publishers are looking for in terms of genre and submission criteria, such as format and word length. You would be surprised at how many new writers will attempt to submit a piece that is 3,000 words too long, or is on a topic completely unrelated to the regular content of the publication they are attempting to break into. If you can follow a publisher's submission criteria to the letter and are sensitive to what their publication is trying to accomplish, you will find yourself pulling even further ahead of the other writer
However, you don't always have to listen to the dictates of publishers. Many editors will tell you that if you are submitting a piece to them, do not submit it to any other publisher at the same time. If they find out they have been wasting their time on your piece while you've gone with another publisher, they could blacklist you. Although, authors will tell you a different story. Rather than having eager publishers fighting over your work, the truth is that you will probably submit your story, wait for months to hear from the publisher, and then get a letter of rejection. Is your time really that much less valuable than that of an editor? Experienced authors say submit, submit, submit. Just be sure to keep a list of all the places you have sent your manuscript so you can withdraw it if you get lucky.
Writing Competitions
While it may be hard or even impossible for a never-published author to get their manuscript in front of an editor, one strategy for breaking in is to enter short fiction contests. These contests usually come with some prize money and an opportunity to be published. However, beware of scam contests. Any contest that says you're a winner and then asks you for money is a scam. Any contest that says you're a winner but wants to publish your work without paying you is a scam. Don't be fooled - research contests as thoroughly as you would a publisher. A reading or entry fee is pretty much the norm, but again beware, watch out for high fees in return for small prize
Get Tough or Get Out
Being neat, professional, competitive and a contest-winner may help to put you at the head of the pack, but these do not make up a never-fail formula for success. The truth is, your stories are going to be rejected a disappointing number of times. Just remember that this does not mean your story is bad, and it does not mean that you will never succeed. It just means that you are going to have to learn to accept rejection. Some of the greatest authors in literary history have been able to paper their walls in rejection slips.
If a rejection contains comments of any kind from an editor, you know you're on the right track. You made them care enough to want to teach you something, and this is no small feat. Whatever an editor has suggested, consider it carefully. Try making some of these changes and resubmit.
Don't Forget that this is a Job
Like every other stage of the process, this is hard work. Writing is like any other job, to do it well, you have to work your butt off, and deal with bosses that are going to give you a hard time every chance they get. The biggest mistake a new writer can make is to give up when things stop being easy. As soon as the creative juices don't seem to be flowing, or they can't get part of the story just right, they quit. This attitude is all wrong. Writers that are getting published aren't better than you they're just working harder than you. Authorship can offer huge payoffs, but only to those who are willing to quit playing and do some real tough storytelling.
One last thing you can do to advance further ahead of the pack is to do your research. Writers used to depend on annually published directories like the Fiction Writer's Market to get the scoop on submission criteria and publisher addresses, but today the Internet is the place to be for the short story writer. The new frontier when it comes to short story publishing is on-line. The form is ideally suited to on-line publications, websites and as a downloadable for hand-held devices. So warm up your mouse and start pounding that keyboard, you'll never know unless you give it a go.

How Can RSS Feeds Help Your Online Business?
So why should anyone use RSS Feeds? After all, how can rss feeds help with your online business?
Here's five powerful reasons why any online business owner should consider using rss feeds in their marketing effort
1. RSS Feeds allow you to deliver your newsletter/message directly to the desktop of your subscribers and readers, BYPASSING email.
As you might have read or heard, email is not getting through to a lot of people, especially now with CAN SPAM law in place, ISPs are filtering a lot of emails with certain subjectlines in them.
Imagine if you have a 10,000 list and 20% of your emails doesn't get through.
That means 2,000 mails are not being delivered. How much sales are you losing from this alone?
It is also costly to hire services that help you do the monitoring and ensure your autoresponders/emails get through.
Your readers and subscribers themselves are getting numb to the constant bombardment of emails from other parties, bear in mind they are not just subscribing to your newsletter.
With RSS Feeds, you can get your readers to subscribe to your news feed using a newsreader software or online web service for reading rss feeds).
This way you can bypass all the email SPAM and reach 100% your readers.
And with some good headlines, you can bet your message gets read.
2. Get your site listed by YAHOO within 24 hours and save $299
With RSS Feeds, you can get your site listed in Yahoo within 24 hours and save $299. Yahoo is currently building an RSS directory and as such has inadvertently opened a "back door", allowing people to list their website with RSS feed
This secret is revealed in my multimedia ebook, with video tutorials showing you how to do it. Each day more people are discovering this secret, and I'm not sure when Yahoo will pull the plug.
3. Dominate niche market with RSS feeds.
You can create multiple RSS feeds centered around targeted keywords and submit them to RSS directorie
There are people who are actually looking for good content online and wants to read and subscribe to news feed
They might be searching for news on the keyword "cooking" for example. When someone performs a keyword search and you have your feeds built around that keyword, it will turn up and you get to have more subscribers when they subscribe to your news feed
4. More subscribers, more leads, more sale
RSS feeds give you a wider reach and gain more subscribers you otherwise would not have gotten.
More subscribers mean more leads, and more sales!
RSS allows your newsletter, messages, ads to be syndicated all over the web, giving you a wider reach you otherwise would not have.
Imagine a giant octopus with unlimited tentacles stretching all over the sea searching, looking...well, with RSS feeds, basically you're doint the same thing.
You have to submit your rss feeds though, to the relevant directories, otherwise noboby knows about it.
5. Podcasting
Podcast is the latest application of RSS feeds. Have you heard of webcast?
With Webcast, you have to go to the website where the audio file (mp3 file) is stored.
Podcast take it one step further.
It allows you to syndicate your mp3 audio files (such as a web cast or tele-seminar) all over the web and even allows you to download to Apple Ipod.
Your potential customer and readers can listen to your message even without being at the PC. Isn't that fantastic?

How Can You Use Blogs To Increase Website Traffic?
I conducted my 1st customer appreciation webcast and asked my subscribers list what is their most pressing question they have about blogs and rs
Here's one of the questions I have
How can you use blogs to incease traffic?
Blogs can increase traffic through the following
1. If your blog has valuable content, this will attract readers to your blog who will visit again
Most people who perform searches using search engines are actually looking for information, for solutions. The more helpful and relevant content you have, the easier it is for you to attract visitors and also to turn them into loyal readers and subscriber
2. With a Blog, you can submit to the many Blog directories that exist online.
By submitting to the many blog directories in the proper category, you can expand your reach to targeted subscribers or readers who wants to read your posting on your area of specialisation.
3. Blogs promote relationship building and trust with your readers, as it allows you to interact with them. Your readers can refer a friend and imagine the traffic power that can be generated if each one of your reader make a referral.
For example, if you have 500 readers and each one makes a referral, that will be an additional 500 new subscribers, giving you a total of 1,000 subscribers/reader
4. By attracting search engine 'bot's to visit the site more often
All search engines have a program known as a 'search engine bot' which basically 'spiders' or searches web sites and bring back the results they have to the search engine
And 'search engine bots' love content, especially pages with related keyword
The more frequent you update your pages, the more frequent that search engines
A Blog is actually a content management system. If that sounds too technical, a Blog is a push-button publishing system.
There is no uploading of pages to web host accounts, unlike web pages
For example, with Blogger, you just set up a free account, write what you want, and press "publish".
Your Blog posting will be instantly published and is automatically hosted for you. The hosting is also free by the way.
5. Blogs can be easily turned into an RSS Feed, for syndication.
With RSS Feeds, your Blog contents can be published by other websites that pulls RSS Feeds based on targeted keywords or content automatically.
By turning your Blog into an RSS Feed, you can also submit to the many RSS directories out there, again expanding your reach you otherwise will not have with a normal web site
6. You can add "podcasts" or "videocasts" to your Blog, and reach out to even more people, Audio learners especially "Ipodders", people who own Apple Ipod and likes to download audio from the Internet and listen as well as Visual learners.

In fact I received many questions on "How to make money blogging" when I conducted my first webcast to answer my subscribers' most pressing questions on Blogs and Rs
You can make money Blogging in a number of ways, and in this article I share with you up to nine ways in which you can make money blogging.
1. Make Money Blogging by Selling Advertising Space
Before the advent of Blogs, we have e-zines and selling advertising space on ezines was a popular way to earn extra money. If you run your own Blog, you can let others advertise in your Blogs with banner ads, solo ads, sponsor ads, classifieds and so on.
Now that we have Blogs, you can repeat the same business model that e-zine publishers do, that of selling advertising space.
One popular advertising company that helps Bloggers look for advertisers is Blogads (ww.Blogads.com).
Besides placing advertisers ads on your Blog, you can also make money Blogging by placing Google Adsense into your Blog.

You've heard of ad swapping when it comes to e-zine publishing, where publishers publish each other's ads in their own e-zines. This way, you save on adveritising cost
You can repeat the same model to Blogs, as swap ads on Blogs as well. So instead of paying up front, you get to save, which means more money for you to spend!
7. Earn Money Blogging by turning yoyr blog content into RSS feeds and sell it as premium feeds
Your blog contents can be turned into an RSS feed. If the content is good, you can look for web businesses that are looking for good content for related topics and sell their feed to them.
8. Make Money Blogging by well, asking!

In affiliate marketing, you get paid a commission when someone clicks on your affiliate link and makes a purchase. Depending on the subject of your Blog, you can recommend products that solve people's problem
For example, I had a subscriber who asked me how she can blog about cats and make money from blogging about cat
I shared with her that firstly, perhaps she might want to go niche instead of targeting the broad category of "cats", and using the example of a Persian cat, which is a niche by itself, she can start a blog on Persian cats, providing valuable information as well as recommended solutions and products to the upkeep and maintenance of Persian cats.

How To Get Backdoor Listing in Google With Wordpress
Did you know you can list for Free in Google with Wordpress? Not too long ago, Google came up with a new concept called "Google Sitemaps".
The technique you are about to learn in this article will save you time and money to get your site indexed and listed with Google, the 'giant' search engine of the Internet.
One of the main objectives of Google Sitemaps is to help update Google's search engine of any changes or updates to your site.
It was a smart idea on Google's side, as the Internet was simply growing too big and too fast. The amount of sites that the search engine bots or commonly referred to as 'spiderbots' or 'spiders' had to visit were enourmou
With Google Sitemaps, Google came up with a win-win solution for both parties. The need for the search engine giant to update their database with the latest search results, and an opportunity for site owners to get indexed with Google.
With Google Sitemaps, you can generate an 'xml' file of your entire site, and submit it to Google using your Google Account.
Once Google has received your Sitemap file, it will be able to keep track of changes to your site. It's actuall a win-win for both partie
Of course, for most people, they wouldn't understand all this technical lingo, let alone create an 'xml' file.
Enter the hero to the rescue..Wordpres
So how does Wordpress come into the picture?
If you didn't know, Wordpress is a very popular free blogging software for building and running blogs.
And because of it's popularity, Wordpress users has developed a ton of plugins to be used with Wordpres
One of these is actually a Google Sitemap plugin for Wordpress. Basically if you have run any Wordpress blog, you can just upload the Google Sitemap plugin, and activate it.
What this will do is it will generate a Google compliant site map of your entire site or blog. And all this is done at the backend, transparent to the user.
Only thing left to do is to submit this sitemap file to Google...and you've gotten yourself a free listing in Google.
Amazing isnt it?

Wordpress Knocks Out Google's Blogger In Building Niche Blogs
When it comes to building and creating profit pulling niche blogs Wordpress really shines and really beat Blogger.com heads down.
If you didn't know, Blogger is a free blogging software owned by Google. You can set up a blogging account in three easy steps and start blogging.
On the other hand, Wordpress is a very popular blogging software. The easiest way to install and set up Wordpress would be to do a one click installation from the Cpanel of your hosting account.
Now, Wordpress is more than just a blogging software.
In the past when blogging first evolved, marketers did not give it much thought...until they discovered the power of syndication through RSS feed
With Rss feeds, they can now reach out to a target markets they normally would not have been able to.
You can liken the Rss feeds to the different channels on the radio station. It allows your message to be broadcast to targeted groups of people. For example, classical channel appeals to classical music lovers an so on.
You can create Rss feeds with Google's Blogger, however additional setup is required.
Wordpress has an in-built syndication function, unlike Blogger.com where it still needs some configuration.
In addition, Wordpress has some powerful features that make it a marketer's dream tool
(a) Automatic Pinging
Wordpress will automatically ping the blog directories listed each time you publish a post.
This notifies the blog directories of your blog updates, and can bring more traffic and visitors to your blog.
(b) Categories
It might not seem like a big deal, but when you realize that you can name the category using keywords you want to target, then BAM!
It hits you like a rock. You can have multiple categories named using keywords you want to target, and write your post under that category. With proper planning and carefully spreading the same keyword in your post, you can achieve higher Search Engine rankings easily.
This is where Google's Blogger lose out.
Google's Blogger does not provide any category support. If you want to target selected keywords, you need to manually create the links and manually tweak the Blogger template.
As you blog gets bigger and you post more often, this can become a nightmare.
(c) Plugins
Plugins give Wordpress additional functions and features. All you need to do is upload the Plugin file, Activate the plugin file and you're set to go.
Example plugins would include Google Adsense plugins where you can insert Adsense plugins with the click of a button. Or Chitika Ads plugins, again to display contextual ads and let you make more money with your blog.
(d) Easily change the theme of your blog (site)
With Wordpress, everything is just point and click (or plug N play). You can easily change the theme and layout of your Blog without having to learn about web design.
Design is important since a good design can appeal, attract and keep your readers coming back. Changing your blog design also keeps your niche blog 'refreshing' in terms of look and feel.
This is why Wordpress knocks out Google's Blogger when it comes those serious about building long-term profitable niche blogs.

A Complementary Team
We all have weaknesses. Whatever our role
In management positions, one of the bigger challenges is to recognise our own shortcomings and alter our own behaviours. Sometimes this can be very challenging.
Often a hint is that there are areas of your work where you feel like you really struggle, or are things you avoid. Or are things that you don't enjoy doing. So you do other things that you do like and leave gaps. Spaces in your attention that are important, but get missed.
You are not alone, your gaps are natural, because no-one is perfect, not even those at the very top of their game.
You see, the very best executives realise that they aren't completely rounded. The ones who have wonderful strategic visions may not be the best with the purse strings. The ones who have a very focused view of the operational standards of their business, may well not see the possibilitie
The business world is littered with big-time bosses that missed a trick or two. You may have worked with one or two!
The best ones realise this and take action. Even though it might mean getting over that truly biggest hurdle for top bosses, their ego, the best are able to get the point that they aren't perfect and they need help, for the greater good.
So they surround themselves with others who have the skills they lack. A great visionary may have an expert with tight financing. The detail guy may have someone who is a whiz at thinking off the wall and with wow idea
It's a blend that the very best bosses understand and let go of. They give up control in the areas where they are not as strong.
If you have weaknesses, accept it - it's natural and where those are, look for people in your team who have those skills. Nurture them and let them have a free rein to manage that part of your business where you can't - not effectively anyway.
And get on doing your stuff really, really well, without the worry about those bits that you are less comfortable with.

Natural Vision Improvement - Reach Your Best Vision
If you have vision problems and concerns then take the time to thoroughly investigate natural vision improvement. A well informed mind can make the right choice
Eyesight
Natural Vision Improvement is a lifestyle method of improving eyesight by wholistic means without the use of optical devices. Sorensen, a commercial airline pilot, had a great experience with natural vision improvement. He made it his duty to help people who suffer from poor and deteriorating eyesight to improve and maintain their vision.... Through natural vision improvement, one can eventually have perfect eyesight. Discover an amazingly simple natural vision improvement method that touts an unmatched 94.3% success rate in reversing and improving bad vision. Thousands have better vision without the risks and expense of laser surgery.
Therapy
Finally, vision therapy is used to enhance or improve vision in athletes seeking the extra edge in sports. Their results indicate that this near-far response ability is trainable and can be improved with vision therapy. The results of daily vision therapy showed statistically significant improvement in convergence ranges. They objectively identified the dynamic aspects of the accommodative response that were improved by vision therapy. Natural vision improvement is the enhancing of one visual system, without the use of surgery nor vision aids like spectacles and contact lenses. Many who have had tremendous success recommend similar therapy to their friends and they gained similar improvement in their vision. When checking out Vision Improvement Therapies, be sure to get these kinds of testimonies. Make sure these testimonies actually are written by real people who have signed their name to it..
Surgery
Exercising your eyes keeps them healthy, takes away eyestrain, helps you to focus and even improves your vision without surgery. If necessary however, surgery to remove cataracts can improve vision dramatically. For example, surgery improves the vision of more than 90% of patients with cataracts.
Program
"I started on a program and noticed an almost immediate improvement in my vision." These testimonies are not uncommon. Vision exercise is part of a program designed to give the eyes a workout to improve vision and to promote healthy eyes. Programs should outline steps for a self-help program to help you improve your vision - you will learn how to help your eyes naturally! Spend just minutes a day with the natural vision improvement program, and before you know it you be seeing more clearly with much less effort. To some it may seem like madness, yet there is a method to this home-based program of eye exercises to improve your vision.
Some highly respected doctors have stated the following about the continued use of glasses and contacts
"Minus lenses are the most common approach, yet the least likely to prevent further myopic (nearsighted) progression. Unfortunately, they increase the near-point stress that is associated with progression."
B. May, OEP Publications
Reading
Promises of dramatically improved reading speed are often made by vision therapists and speed- reading courses. Applying good vision habits whilst reading and doing close work will enable you to maintain or improve your close-up vision.
Bilberry
Bilberry - The herb referred to as bilberry can also help to improve night vision. The modern market for bilberry extract to correct near-sightedness & improve night-vision is not a harmless fraud. Contrast sensitivity was also significantly improved in the bilberry group, suggesting an improvement in night vision. The first anecdotal reports about the effectiveness of bilberries came from British pilots who consumed bilberry jam in order to improve their night vision. We know that bilberry, in high enough quantities, can actually improve your night vision. The people on lutein supplements had experienced a statistically significant improvement in vision, in terms of visual acuity and glare sensitivity. To many Europeans like myself this is no strange theory.
Care
Natural Vision Improvement is an educational process and does not take the place of proper optometric or medical care.
These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease

Learn The Proper Backgammon Directions
Backgammon directions can be a little confusing to a new player. If you are a serious backgammon player, then you will find that if you are determined and have your mind set on playing the game, then you should have no problem getting the hang of this game. The backgammon directions usually come with any normal backgammon board game.
Setup
Backgammon is set up to play with two players. It is played on a board that has twenty-four triangles, which are called points for each one. The triangles are alternated with color and are grouped into four categories of six triangles in total. These categories are also known as the players home board and outer board. And the opponent's home and outer board. The home and outer boards are separated with a line down the center of the board, which is considered the bar. This may sound a little confusing at first but it really is not.
The points are number for each of the players starting with the player's home board. Each player will receive fifteen game pieces of his own color. The normal order of the game pieces is two on each player's twenty-four point, five on the player's thirteen point, three on each player's eight point, and five on each of the player's six point.
How to Play
The main goal of the game is for the player to move all of his or her game pieces into his own home board and the get them off before your opponent. The player to do this first is considered the winner of the game.
The fair way to determine who plays first in the game is to roll the die and whoever gets the higher number moves their game pieces according to the numbers that come up. After the first roll, each of the players will alternate throwing the dice and taking turns.
The roll of the dice will indicate how many points the player can move there game piece. The game pieces are always moved in the forward direction to a lower-numbered point.
Rules
A point taken by a single game piece of either color is called a blot. If the opponent game piece lands on a blot, the blot is hit and placed on the bar. If a player has one or more pieces on the bar, his first resort is to enter those pieces into the opponent's home board. A game piece or checker is entered by moving it to an open space or point that goes in accordance with one of the numbers rolled on the dice.
Once a player has got all of the fifteen pieces into his home board, he may then get or bear off. A player bears off a game piece or checker by rolling a number that corresponds to the point where the piece resides and then taking that piece off the board.
There are many different rules and regulations to this game however, it is a fun and exciting game to play once you understand all the necessary rules. You can then teach your friends and family how to play and have a great time doing so. Have great fun with backgammon.

If you are handy at making your own crafts, this is defiantly something that you can do on your own. Do You Really Know Your Backgammon Game Rules?
Backgammon is a great challenge between two players. It is a fun and exciting way to pass the time, whether it is at home or on the go. No matter where you play, backgammon rules stay the same. There are directions included with any game that describe how to play and a complete guide with backgammon rules.
The first thing is backgammon is to set up the board. You sit opposite of your opponent on both sides of the board. You both will roll the dice to determine who goes first. The player who rolls the higher number will go first and move their game pieces in accordance to that number. You both may even decide that the lowest number goes first.
In the game of backgammon, you move in a counterclockwise position. You can only move your game pieces to open spaces on the board. You are not allowed to move onto points (or spaces) with two or more of the opponent's checkers. You can only move your pieces or checkers in pairs.
The player with all of their games pieces off the home board is declared the winner.
There are some things to remember when you play backgammon. Rolls of the dice do not count if they land on a checker or if they fall off the board or on their side. If both of the dice land with the same number facing up on any roll after the first, the player gets doubles and gets to move two times the roll. If you are lucky enough to get two sixes, that means that you will get four moves of six. Wouldn't that be great?
You are allowed to move any of the checkers or game pieces that you want to. However, remember that the object of the game is to get all of the pieces into the home board.
This game is easy to learn and fun to play. There are a lot of rules to the game, so it may be a wise idea to keep the directions and rules for the game nearby so that if you get stuck, you can get the answers you are looking for. Getting the proper answers makes for a rewarding and fun game.
There are certain rules that do change for backgammon tournaments and challenges. These rules are set by and agreed upon by the people and player in charge of the tournament.
Playing online is the same as playing at home with the board. The rules and strategies are generally the same. The only real difference here is that online you may be playing for money.

Veteran Trader Finds Successful Forex Trading Strategies and Techniques
Forex trading strategies and techniques along with the market are unique. It doesn`t sleep, so there are no opening or closing gaps. Forex trading strategies are highly liquid, and difficult to influence. There are no commissions and few, if any, regulations. It`s the largest market out there, and it`s more than a little intimidating. However, with a good trading system, a disciplined approach, and a willingness to learn, the forex market can become a very lucrative place to trade. Here are a few pointers to get you started in the right direction.
I recommend that traders with small accounts ($25,000 and under), always trade with the trend. Good Forex trading strategies for beginners to use is to look for trades that flow in any direction, which can be somewhat unreliable. While forex trading easily permits bi-directional trades, trading in the direction of the trend will improve your odds over the long run.
One of many other excellent Forex trading strategies to use this way to improve your odds is to have at least two accounts, including at least one real account and one demo account. You don`t stop learning when you start trading real dollars. Use your demo account to test any alternative trades you might be considering. For example, you can shadow your real trades with identical ones in your demo account, but you can widen your stops in the demo to see if you're being too conservative.
If you have the right amount of money, try Forex trading strategies that allow trading two lots rather than one. Or even three lots. This is safer than only trading one. When everything is riding on one trade, it`s hard to make good decisions. Having a few positions going is a good way to take the intensity out of a trade. Conversely, you may also want to consider extreme trading, which can be the most conservative trading, when you think about it. Trading at the extremes increases the odds that you have chosen the right direction.
No Forex trading strategies would be good if you did not take the time to examine the daily charts, the four-hour charts and one-hour charts. These exist to help you time your trades. When you are trading at 30- and 15-minute time increments, it can take a great deal of dexterity, and it`s good to have this knowledge at your fingertips.
Some other Forex trading strategies means that you don't trade the time frame that is offered. Trade the pattern instead. Reversal patterns, hesitation patterns and breakout patterns show up a lot. Learn to look for these patterns in any time frame. While the patterns are always there if you look for them, leading indicators aren`t there. Don`t spend all your time looking for them, there simply aren`t any. Some firms make a lot of money selling software that predicts the future, but the reality is that if those products really worked, they wouldn't be telling you about it. Also, try and follow the Upside Down Rule. If you can turn a chart upside down and it still looks the same, avoid it all together.
You should fully check the Big Five the dollar/yen, euro/dollar, Swiss franc/dollar, euro/yen and pound/dollar before you decide to take a position in any one of them. There might be something obvious that you`ve missed.
Finally, this is the best out of all the Forex trading strategies I know. Don't keep count of your profits in your first 20 trades. Keep track of the percentage of wins instead. Once you know you can pick directions, your profits can be increased with multi-plot trading and by using variations in your stops. Can Hoodia Become America's Version Of the "French Paradox"?
Over the past year or two there has been diet backlash in America. We're finding that "diets" don't work. Just the sound of the word diet, sends some into sheer terror. It conjures up thoughts of tasteless lettuce and constant hunger pangs.
Here we are tracking and counting carbs, fat and calories, meanwhile those in Europe continue to eat creamy sauces, buttery laced breads and rich desserts and still stay slim and trim. This fact has actually been given a term, it's called the French Paradox!
Why is it that Europeans can eat such wonderful foods, not gain weight, yet we Americans have to live on rabbit food to stay slim?
Is there a difference in our genes?
No, there is a difference in the QUANTITY of the foods eaten. You see while Americans super size everything, our European counterpart eat smartly with smaller portions, so they can basically what ever they like. What may also surprise you is the fact that we not only have larger food portions, but even our bottles of soda are twice the size of those sold in France and England.
Did you know that a standard American muffin is 2 and 1/2 times the size of a muffin in France? You're talking the difference of an extra 600 to 725 calories just at breakfast, and how many people do you know that have a muffin just as a quick snack?
Did you also know that American women consume almost 1,500 calories more per day than a woman living in Paris? Then to that add the frightening statistic that 40% of our calories come from fat and sugar, and then you no longer have to wonder why we are getting so fat and unhealthy.
Yet, because we are so spoiled by eating such large quantities of food, we feel as though we are starving if we drastically cut back to lose weight.
Enter Hoodia. Hoodia is a natural product that can help you eat less without being hungry. There are no stimulants in Hoodia, no known side effects, and has worked for 1000's of years for the San People of South Africa. Hoodia contains a molecule called P57 that is similar to glucose, yet is 1000,000 times stronger. This wonder molecule tricks the brain into believing that the stomach is full and satisfied.
In tests taken, those taking 3 grams (3,000 mgs) of Hoodia daily eat approximately 1,000 to 1,500 calories less per day but are totally satisfied without any hunger. And unlike previous weight loss products, Hoodia does not cause any jitters, Hoodia does not keep you up at night and can be taken right before bed time.
Can Hoodia train us to eat less like out European counter parts?
I personally use Hoodia and have been blown away by my results. I eat what ever I like, when ever I like, yet I continue to lose weight. WHY? Now I am naturally eating less food. I am not hungry, and if I do have a craving for chocolate, I am satisfied with a small piece. I no longer feel the need to eat the complete chocolate bar.
By not feeling hungry, I have found that I choose my foods more carefully, relying on fresh fruit, lean meats and vegetable
If you feel deprived by eating smaller portions of food when dieting or compelled to snack all day long because you are hungry, then Hoodia could be exactly what you are looking for.
Hoodia usually starts working the first day, but may take up to a week for some, before starting to feel its full benefits.
Although Hoodia is considered a food in Africa and in many other countries, in the US, a disclaimer stating that statements regarding Hoodia have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug administration and that Hoodia product web sites are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease, is always shown on the product page. You will also see a suggestion to consult your physician before beginning any new diet or using any diet product.
Can Hoodia be called the American Paradox?
Only time will tell, but I do know that Hoodia works for me!

It is Okay to Talk About Viagra
There are a lot of men out there who need help with a very personal problem, but they are afraid to do anything about it. This is because the topic of erectile dysfunction is about as terrifying to face as an appointment with a divorce lawyer, so they try to avoid it altogether. Unfortunately, erectile dysfunction affects not only men, but it also affects their spouses as well, so this makes it impossible to avoid indefinitely. Sooner or later the topic of sex (or lack thereof) will come up at the dinner table, and then they must face the problem head on. That is usually when the name Viagra enters the conversation, and they better be ready to make an informed decision on whether or not to use it.
Viagra was invented by a team of scientists in the late nineteen nineties, and it was approved for sale by the FDA (food and Drug Administration) on March 27, 1998. It was considered to be a breakthrough discovery in the medical and science worlds, and the inventors won the Nobel Prize for this invention. They had essentially discovered that when a man gets an erection a chain reaction occurs in the tissue of the penis which causes the levels of a substance called cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP) to be elevated. When the level of this substance remains high, the penis remains erect. They also discovered that an enzyme called phosphodiesterase-5 (PDE5) breaks down cGMP. They found that the cGMP levels tended to breakdown rapidly in some men, and this was the cause of their sexual dysfunction problems. The key to sustaining an erection was to maintain high levels of cGMP for a long period of time, so they invented a drug that would inhibit the levels of the enzyme PDE5. This would allow the cGMP levels to remain high, which would sustain an erection for a long period of time.
Before the invention of Viagra men with this kind of problem just had to suffer with their ailment. Many men were too ashamed to even talk about this problem. Beside the obvious issue of questioning their manhood, there just was not a whole lot they could do about it. There was no known cure, and that was a fact. They had to face this problem with very little help from the medical world. It was no wonder that most men kept this kind of thing to themselves. Many marriages were affected adversely due to this problem, and some even ended because of it.
Viagra has been a Godsend to many men who were experiencing problems in bed. The scientific name for Viagra is Sildenafil and it basically acts as an inhibitor of the enzyme PDE5. This preserves the high levels of cGMP that are produced when a man is sexually aroused. Similar products like Cialis and Levitra work in the same way, thus, all three products are defined as PDE5 inhibitors.
Viagra absorbs quite rapidly in the blood stream, usually within 30 to 120 minutes. It is a highly protein bound drug (96%) which means that is will absorb faster when taken with a high protein meal. Taking it with a high fat meal will reduce the absorption rate.
Pfizer is the company who makes the only genuine Viagra, and any other company who claims to make it is a fake. There are many web sites on the internet who claim to be selling "real" Viagra, but most of them are frauds looking to make a quick buck. Only a U.S. licensed pharmacy can sell Pfizer's Viagra product, so make sure you do a little investigating about the company you plan to buy from before you make your purchase. There are many reputable companies on the internet selling genuine Pfizer Viagra through completely safe and secure web sites. All you have to do is a little research and you will get the same product you would get at your local pharmacy, but without the potential embarrassment. You will even get a better price if you buy your Viagra online than you would if you bought it at your neighborhood pharmacist, for the pharmacist selling his products online does not have to pay overhead costs (employees, building leases, benefits, etc...).
Viagra is metabolized in the liver by an enzyme that is known as CYP3A4. Any one with a liver condition (like cirrhosis) who is thinking about taking Viagra must consult their physician first to discuss a customized or reduced dosage.
What used to be a problem without a cure is now a problem that can be cured with a little blue pill. Men who take a 50mg dose about an hour or two before sexual activity can regain the sexual vitality and stamina that they have been missing in their lives. They can now enter that dreaded conversation at the dinner table with their spouse (about erectile dysfunction) armed with the knowledge that they have a breakthrough drug on their side that was worthy of the Nobel Prize. They can even order it at a U.S. licensed online pharmacy and have their Viagra shipped overnight to their front door by a FEDEX courier who will hand over their order in a plain-wrapped box.

Backgammon Pieces, Are You Sure You Know Them?
Backgammon pieces look similar to those of the checkers. They are usually round in shape and serve the same purpose as checkers do. Backgammon pieces can be anything from plain plastic that you can find in any store with any normal backgammon set to specially made ones. Whatever your backgammon pieces are made of, I am sure that they serve their purpose.
Usually the pieces for the game come with the backgammon board. These come as sets and can be found in any board game aisle. They are not expensive and make great gifts for any child or even adult that is new to the game. You can also find almost any of the pieces for sale on the Internet.
If you are looking to give someone who has been playing the game for a while, the gift of backgammon, then maybe you want something a little more special. If you want to do this, then look into special pieces for their backgammon game.
You can purchase beautiful pieces or chips made with unique metals and colors. Some are hand made or carved by craftsmen. A serious backgammon player would love the quality that is put into the manufacturing of these hand made creations. This would be the perfect surprise for any board game lover.
Along with the pieces, you can even find special backgammon boards or sets. There are compact sets that can be used for traveling or even at work. There are also handcrafted boards made from wood. These have beautiful details and are so unique that you can be sure that the receiver does not have one already. What a great gift for the backgammon lover.
A wonderful touch to any backgammon gift would be for it to be personalized. Have their name or a special date engraved on the board or box for the game. This makes any gift more special and more memorable.
If you are wandering where to find unique pieces or sets for backgammon, it is very simple to find. If you are having no luck with stores, you can always turn to the Internet. Ordering online is very simple and almost everyone had done it at least once.

It really makes no difference what the pieces to your backgammon game are made of, or decorated with, just as long as they play the game.

Hot Tips for Successful Online Forex Trading - Part One
There is no one-size-fits all solution for online forex trading. You will do your most successful online forex trading with a system that is customized to fit your needs, your style of trading and your risk comfort level. Then you need the discipline to follow your system, capital to work with and a willingness to approach each trade with energy and enthusiasm.
That being said, there are always a few things you can watch for with your online forex trading career. A few pointers that will help you steer clear of mistakes and keep you on the path to success. I`ve gathered some of these useful tips in this article. Keep them in mind for when you`re uncertain what to do, and incorporate them into your system. They will make a difference in your trades.
Online Forex Trading Tip #1 - Never add to a position that is losing. This is one of the few trade rules that you should never break. If you`re losing money on a position exit the trade, don`t add to it. This is how small losses become large losses, which leads to traders no longer trading.
Online Forex Trading Tip #2 - Always set your stop losses and decide when you will take profits before you enter a trade. Place stops that are based on market information, and not your account balance. If a "proper" stop is too expensive for you, don`t make the trade. Be sure to decide when you are going to take your profits and follow through on it. Successful traders are successful because they keep their losses small, and they take their profits often.
Online Forex Trading Tip #3 - Pay attention to the market. Exit and enter trades based on market information. Don`t wait for a price you think the currency should hit when the market has changed direction on you.
Online Forex Trading Tip #4 - There are times when, due to a lack of liquidity or excessive volatility, you should not trade at all. On a similar note, never trade when you are sick. You can`t count on yourself to be alert to the shifts of the markets, and make good decisions.
Online Forex Trading Tip #5 - Trading systems that work in an up market may not work in a down market, and a system that works for trending markets, or for range bound markets may not work in other markets. Have a system for each type of market.
Online Forex Trading Tip #6 - Up market and down market patterns are ALWAYS there, but you have to look for the dominant trends. Always select trades that move with the trends
Online Forex Trading Tip #7 - During the blow-out stage of the market, either up or down, the risk managers are usually issuing margin call position liquidation orders. They don't generally check the screen to see what`s overbought or oversold they just keep issuing liquidation orders. Make sure you stay out of their way.
Online Forex Trading Tip #8 - Trust your instincts. If something feels wrong about a trade, don`t make it. It`s better to be superstitious than to loose money.
Online Forex Trading Tip #9 - Rumour is king. Buy when you hear the rumour, sell when you hear the news.
Online Forex Trading Tip #10 - The first and last tick are always the most expensive. Get in the market late, and out early. And never trade in the direction of a gap, either opening or closing.
Online Forex Trading Tip #11 - When everyone else is in, it's time for you to get out. If a stock or currency is overbought, it`s time to exit your position.

Weight Loss Timing Is Everything - Part 2
In this series of articles we're examining the timing of fitness. As we found last time, when we eat is almost as important as what we eat. In this article we're going to take a look at when we exercise, and how to get the maximum benefit from our workouts based on timing.
We've all heard the popular addage 'Timing is everything'. As passe as cliches may be, we can't argue with the accuracy of this phrase. It holds true in almost every aspect of our lives - business, relationships, family and even exercise.
When we do our training may be just as important as how intensely and how long we do it. Many bodybuilders and fitness experts swear that the absolute best time to work out for fat loss is first thing in the morning before breakfast because it enhances the fat-burning process. Morning exercise not only appears to benefit fat utilization by the body, but it also may be advantageous for several other reason
TALKIN' ABOUT FAT
Those who preach the superiority of morning exercise for fat-burning deserve a pat on the back by the scientific community. That's right The theory that cardiovascular exercise on an empty stomach first thing in the morning has the greatest potential for fat loss is firmly supported by science.
However, this effect is not necessarily due (as many believe) to the low concentrations of glucose in the blood and glycogen in the muscles when we wake up in the morning. In actuality, glucose and glycogen have little to do with this morning fat-burning effect. Henriette Pilegaard, PhD, a research scientist at the prestigious Copenhagen Muscle Research Center in Denmark, states "Blood glucose and muscle glycogen levels stay fairly constant overnight. This fact is reported in several texts including the well-known Biological Rhythms in Clinical and Laboratory Medicine."
While glucose and glycogen are tightly maintained, metabolism, on the other hand, takes a drastic swing during the night. Jaci VanHeest, PhD, professor of exercise science at the University of Connecticut (Storrs), explains "During your nightly slumber, your muscles switch almost exclusively to fat use in order to spare glucose for the brain. At this time, insulin levels are very low and the hormone glucagon is very high." This increases the amount of fat that leaves our fat cells and travels to our muscles, where the fat is ultimately oxidized (burned).
As several research studies show, we can take advantage of this fat-burning cycle by exercising first thing in the morning before eating. Increasing the energy needs of our muscles via aerobic exercise will enhance both the 'leaking' of fat from fat cells and the 'sponging up' of fat by exercising muscles. Over time, this could lead to noticable bodyfat los
BURN, BABY, BURN
Several studies have also discovered that this increase in fat usage by muscle continues throughout the day, even while we're just sitting around. When we eat breakfast after exercise, less fat from the meal ends up in fat cells and more is burned by muscle. This is a great way to nullify the fat content of a meal and keep it away from our love handles, but it won't work if we eat a plate of bacon and eggs every day.
The effect of greater post-meal fat-burning appears to be maintained even during later meals. In essence, we could say that morning exercise boosts our fat-burning potential for the entire day.
KICK START THE HEART
When we wake up in the morning, we're typically at our 'slowest and lowest'. That means several of our body's processes are still waking up, because our body follows a biological clock that cycles all bodily functions over a 24-hour period. Each function, such as adrenaline release, has a peak and a valley at some point during the day. When our alarm clock buzzes, our body temperature is at its lowest - as is the release of adrenaline, which is related to our slower metabolism and heart rate at this time.
Exercise first thing in the morning will get that adrenaline flowing and kick-starts our metabolism for the rest of the day. Research shows that if we get into a consistent morning exercise routine, we'll actually shift the phases of our biological clock. Before we wake up, our temperature, adrenaline release and metabolism will start to take off to prepare our body to awaken and get ready for the workout to come.
THE BOTTOM LINE
To burn the most fat, then, the best time to exercise is first thing in the morning. Before breakfast is best. (Although there are some concerns about exercise without eating, but that's a topic for another article.)
One caveat the absolute best time for you personally to exercise is anytime you can. Yes, we've been talking about morning exercise and there's lots more research we could discuss about two-a-days, evening exercise, etc. But the single most important factor for fat loss is that we simply exercise, period.
Yes, timing is important. But what if a job or family prevents us from making it before noon? Is that bad? Not at all. As we all know, any exercise is better than no exercise, no matter what the time of day. Many health club members exercise regularly after 600 pm each day, and that's great too. Every time we can get some exercise in, we will reap the benefits. The point of this article is to help us realize that morning exercise will help most of us more than evening exercise.
So keep exercising, and we'll see each other at the gym!

Weight Loss Timing Is Everything - Part 3
In this series of articles we're examining the timing of fitness. We've already looked at when to eat for minimum fat storage, and also when to exercise for maximum fat los
The previous article was about morning exercise. Besides the benefits of burning more fat, morning exercise has several other beneficial effects
1) Shifts our biological clock to kick-start key physiological systems long before we wake up. This enhances most bodily functions throughout the day.
2) Increases mental acuity. Exercise causes a release of endorphins and insulin-like growth factor I(IGF-I) that increases both mental alertness and acuity. True, this benefit is apparent at any time of day we decide to exercise, but early-morning workouts will facilitate this brain-enhancing effect. That mental sharpness we feel after our workout can last for more than eight hours! If we work out later in the day, we could be 'wasting' this effect on the time we're watching television or sleeping.
3) Provides an overall good feeling. After completing a challenging bout of physical exercise, we get a 'rush' and a feeling of accomplishment that stays with us for the entire day.
4) Puts us in a 'healthy' mindset that enhances our body awareness throughout the day.
5) Ensures workout consistency. Studies show that people who work out in the morning are more likely to consistently stick with their exercise program and diet.
PRIME THE PUMP
The exercise timing tip in this article is not for everyone, and also is not for the faint of heart. However, if we really want to prime the pump and accelerate our fat loss efforts, this tip is something we should all at least consider.
As we all know, raising our metabolic rate is one of the keys to fat loss. Raising our metabolic rate burns calories and gives us energy.
One of the biggest bonuses to getting that regular workout is that our metabolic rate remains elevated even after we're done exercising. Research shows that resistance training boosts metabolism for hours after the workout.
University of Wisconsin, La Crosse, researchers showed that intense weight training boosted metabolism after the workout. Scientists estimate metabolism by measuring oxygen consumption. Exercise increases post-exercise metabolism by increasing muscle temperature, stimulating chemicals called uncoupling proteins that increase calorie burning, and disrupting normal cell functions (cell water, electrolytes and minerals). Elevated post-exercise metabolism can make an important contribution to weight control.
Different doctors and researchers have come up with different results as to how long our metabolism stays elevated after resistance training. Because we all have different body types and different genetics, the answer will be slightly different for each of us. However, it's safe to say that the vast majority of us will experience a higher metabolic rate for at least four hours after a good workout.
TIMING TIP OF THE WEEK
That was a big build-up to our timing tip for today. So, without further ado.....
For maximum fat loss, consider doing two-a-day workouts. Once in the morning and again sometime after lunch. Yes, it will take a little more effort. Yes, it will take a little more time. But the rewards will be tremendou
Each time you exercise, you burn calories. Two-a-days will obviously double that result. Just as important, if we time those two-a-day workouts so we're doing one in the morning and another after lunch, we will increase our metabolic rate all day long. That will give us more energy and force our body to burn more calories throughout the day.
The first workout will prime the pump for the day, giving us all the benefits listed above. About the time our metabolism starts to return to normal, the second workout will again raise our metabolic rate.....putting us on 'afterburner' and smokin' those calories for the rest of the day.
Can't get back to the gym for a second round of exercise? How about walking on your lunch hour? How about walking home from work? Or how about mowing the lawn when you get home? As we've said over and over again, some exercise is better than no exercise, so be creative when coming up with ideas for the second 'workout' of the day.
As we've discovered, timing is everything. Although it may not be for everyone, two-a-day exercise will blast our metabolism and fat-loss efforts into the stratosphere. To get the most 'burn' from this tip, just be sure to space those workouts four or more hours apart!
