Devotion

I am in the quest of peace all my life,
Trying to find my soul a nice and quiet resort,
Where the songs of harmony and love abound,
A stage my mind would love as the final destination.

I feel I am playing hide and seek with the eternal truth,
Sooner I get a glimpse of it, sooner it disappears in earthly glitters,
I am running around in the sinful viscous cycles,
Hoping one day I would see the light at the end of the tunnel.

I have an intense desire to taste the nectar of truth,
Like a thirsty looking for water in a sunny hot afternoon,
My soul feels an immense void and emptiness,
I am like a lover yearning to meet the Supreme love.

For lovers, love is the hope of living,
For me, the ultimate truth is the only reason for living.

Lovers desire union of two hearts with intense passion,
For me, merger of my soul with the supreme is the ultimate goal,
I would love to loose my identity,
My only desire would be to live as one in peace with the eternity.
