The Melody of Romance

Sitting on the sand
in a sunny afternoon
you are lying next to me
just like last year
years have past
we are growing old
but nothing has changed
with money and time

O' how much I love
this simple life
let there be
no change at all
O' how much I love
you being with me
every day every year
every summer every Fall

I used to dream
someday I will win
all my land back
and become a prince again
I thought it was
great to rule the people
may be I was wrong
no one can rule the hearts

I would rather be
that young man in your heart
live for eternity
till death do us apart
I would rather sing
the song we once sang
stayed up all night long
for the unexpressed dream

Whisper the words
into my ears
smile the way you did
without any fear
tell me the childhood stories
of your rabbits and the cat
I don't need to know
anything new any more

Sing to me that old song
we sang together once
sing it in the melody
the melody of romance
Sing to me that old song
we sang together once
sing it in the melody
the melody of romance

Thank you so much my friends. I will do a bit touch up to make it a bit more like a song.
