I have decided to play Holi with real colors,
I am ready and waiting for my friends to come on over.

My spray gun is mixing the water color again and again,
Looks like I am enticing the Sun and my shadow to play with me.

But the Sun can only brighten the water colors,
and my shadow can't play any colors with me,
Only when my friends show up,
I had joyous color splashing encounters with them.

I will wait for the evening fun,
when I could play Gulal with my loved one again.

In the night moon will join me along with my shadow,
When I will sing the Holi songs, the moon will dance with joy,
When I will dance, my shadow will dance with me.

When I would find my lover waiting for me with deep anticipation,
Our shadows will color each other with a lot of jubilation,
Moon will play color with its silvery rays, stars will blink with twinkling joy,
All of us would would have the memorable Holi day.
