Where the Children Dream

Thousands of years of history
must not repeat itself
we can make the good come back
oppose return of the rest
haven't we seen again and again
in the violent paths the victims
our own children

you may have a cause and you have fought
in the end what have you got
destroyed cities, crying mothers
the curse of the dying old
the picture of an innocent face
dried up tears, emotionless bold
standing with an palm towards you

Tell me o' heroes, have you ever thought
what if you were in his spot
orphaned at the age of four
hungry, knocking from door to door
do you think you could scream?
o'Heroes give me a world of peace
where the children can dream.
