The Holy Trail

It looks so beautiful
to climb up the mountains
to see where we live
the lakes and the fountains
the land, river and the sea
seem like a toy town
left in the painted background
of my new world

the cool breeze
blowing through the pine trees
whispering to me
go on go on, don't stop here
the higher you climb
the more you see
you lived all your life
in the noise for nothing
where you don't belong

The rocks don't scare me
an invitation from the peak
come my son, come near
there is someone waiting for you here
someone special that you seek
thank the man who made this trail
without anyone's help
to help me one day
find myself
