'Confidence Curbed' By Interest Rate Rise

Last month's interest rate rise is beginning to affect consumer confidence, it has been revealed.
According to figures released by GfK NOP, the Consumer Confidence Index score dropped by a point over the course of June to stand at -3. The fall was attributed to the decision by the Bank of England's monetary policy committee (MPC) to increase the base rate to 5.5 per cent, which could impact upon borrowers' ability to make secured loan repayment
Rachael Joy, consumer confidence representative for GfK NOP, said "After an eventful May, this month sees the higher interest rates taking effect. Consumers have a more negative impression of the general economic situation with a six-point drop this month. Whilst at the same time, consumers are also taking advantage of the situation and the 'now is a good time to save' index has increased this month and now stands at its highest level in recent years."
Figures from the market research company also indicated that Britons are in a record mood to save money. In a move which could see them offsetting debt management and loan payment difficulties, the index for those thinking "now is a good time to save" rose by one to +36, the highest level GfK NOP claimed to have recorded in recent years. This figure was also reported to be four points higher than the score for last June.
Meanwhile, Britons' views towards their personal finances were said to have remained unchanged this month. The index recording consumers' view of their monetary situation over the past 12 months was reported to be +3 - the same figure recorded in May. Opinions about personal finance during the forthcoming year had also remained consistent, remaining at +13, a score which was also noted in June 2006. The study also indicated that trend for making major purchases rose throughout June to +6. However, this was said to be five points lower than figures recorded during the same month last year.
Overall, consumers' views about the British economy over the past 12 months were said to have seen "the biggest change" throughout the course of June. With a score of -24, GfK NOP reported that the index has fallen by some six points. Meanwhile, outlook about the general monetary situation was noted to have stayed at the May figure of -10. However, this was some eight points higher from the same study carried out in June last year.
However, according to a study released by financial charity Credit Action there is a shortfall of savings among Britons. Just over one in four (27 per cent) consumers are said to not have any money set aside, with a further 25 per cent holding savings of less than 3,000 pounds. Meanwhile, three million Britons describe themselves as "frivolous spenders", as they decide to make purchases based on desirability instead of affordability. Overall, two out of three was said to subscribe to 'the buy now, think later culture' which may consequently see them struggle to make loan repayments.

Herbs for Heart Care

Herbs are often used to help lower and control blood pressure levels in high-risk individuals. A variety of herbs can be taken as herbal supplements made into a tea or even added as ingredients to a soup. This article will take a closer look at the effect of herbs on lowering blood pressure.
To begin our look at blood pressure, we start with coenzyme Q10 (which is also referred to as Co Q10). A study that looked at 59 males who were taking medication for high blood pressure yielded the result that 120 mg of coenzyme Q10 on a daily basis taken for a period of eight weeks was able to reduce high blood pressure by approximately 9 percent. This was compared to a placebo group, which had no benefit on their cholesterol level. In order to be of benefit to an individual, a typical dose of Co Q10 is 30 to 100 mg of the herb three times per day. Although it is generally safe to take, Co Q10 is believed to interact negatively with the drug Coumadin (warfarin), and is therefore contraindicated for patients on this or other blood thinners.
Garlic is also an herb that is particularly helpful in reducing blood pressure. Garlic (allium sativum) has been shown to have several beneficial effects on the circulatory system, including normalizing blood pressure and lowering cholesterol. Garlic can reduce inflammation, which is thought to be a major cause of 'sudden,' or
'silent' heart attacks. It is also a good preventative of strokes. Studies have shown that garlic can start its protective effects in a short period of time. One clove of garlic a day is recommended for best health benefits. You can easily add garlic to salad, soups, casseroles and other recipes. If you have not acquired a taste for garlic, consider taking a garlic capsule.
Other herbs that are excellent for decreasing blood pressure include valerian, kudzu and celery. Each of these contains a substance called gamma-amino butyric acid (GABA) that helps to maintain normal levels of blood pressure.
The herb valerian (valeriana officinalis) is composed of a substance known as valerenic acid that serves to inhibit a particular enzyme that breaks GABA down in the body. Consuming valerian helps to reduce blood pressure and maintain higher levels of GABA in the system. Valerian is also an herb that is commonly prescribed by herbal practitioners to patients for sleep difficulties. It acts as a sedative, which in turn also brings about a reduction of blood pressure.
Kudzu (pueraria lobata) is a "weedy vine" that Chinese herbalists have long been recommending to patients to help maintain normal blood pressure. The chemical pueraria is believed to have over 100 times the antioxidant capabilities of vitamin C and it is known to help fight cancer and heart disease as well.
Our last herbs blood pressure is celery. Celery (apium graveolens) is a well-known remedy in Chinese traditional medicine for lowering blood pressure levels. Celery is a very versatile vegetable that can be eater alone or used in a variety of recipes. It is believed that consuming four celery stalks per day can have a positive impact on blood pressure.

Affirmation Music - Chants to Heal Your Life

Affirmation Chants are a powerful form of music created by the combination of primitive rhythms, repetitive sub-tunes and words, reciting tones and powerful positive affirmations that can change your life.
The power of music to play straight to our emotional state and influence us has been understood right back to ancient times. It has the power to steady the hearts of men at war or to reach out and caress the hearts of lovers. It also has the power to change live
There are several forms of spiritual music that can modify your emotional state, make you feel good or help you relax. There are, however, surprisingly few that combine the most powerful aspects of music with one of the most successful life changing techniques - positive affirmations. The result is known as "Affirmation Chants". Combining rhythmic and repetitive music with powerful affirmation messages, it creates a highly effective, almost hypnotic, form of music that can act as a powerful catalyst for change.
A key characteristic of such chants is that the melodies are unforgettable. You simply can't get them out of your head - in fact Kylie Minogue's song, called by strange coincidence "Can't Get You Out Of My Head", though not an affirmation chant, is a great example of this style. Spiritual or life changing songs of a similar nature are surprisingly hard to come by. "Doors" from the "Heal Your Life" album is a notable example.
The power of such chants is that they play straight to our emotions, providing a receptive environment to start overcoming deep-seated fears and to start impressing on the subconscious new positive messages. And the great thing is, even when the music stops, the tune keeps going round and round in your head, reinforcing the positive messages on a continual basis. And this is why Affirmation Chants are different from many other forms of spiritual music. It is music with a message and its purpose is to implant that message into your subconsciou
As a catalyst for change, such music is very powerful indeed. Anyone who is looking for effective ways of making life changes, would definitely benefit from incorporating this kind of powerful music into their process of change.
So if you want your future to be different from your past, if you are ready to start living life to the beat of a different drum, then use affirmation chants to help focus your strength and intentions. Let the music be a catalyst for change in your life.

What Makes A Jobs Script Successful

As we prepare to enter a new generation of employment, it's hard to argue against the fact that a highly active jobs script significantly contributes to the economy. A jobs script is just a tool - but the opportunities it provides to almost anyone these days proves how its potential for financial success confirms current applications. Recent news reports indicate that our current economy is headed for danger and the latest real estate woes certainly do little to sway analysts predictions. However the jobs scripts industry is booming. In fact it's booming so much so that Congress has raised interest in initiating Internet taxes (yet) again.
What's behind the growing number of opportunities behind the jobs script? The success of a highly active jobs script is clearly its community. A successful jobs script -- that is a jobs script that flourishes with daily activity and transactions -- is one that encourages communication above expectations found even in offline employment services.
In reviewing some of the more successful job scripts already in existence, we've discovered that their administrators place utmost importance on freelancer-client communication daily. At first impression, one could easily believe that communication takes precedence over other responsibilities although this certainly isn't the case. It's just that the effects of constant communication offer members the sense of security they need to feel confident about their choice
To understand this principle, we can look at the following example Let's say that a client assigns a job to a freelancer within a 20-day deadline. As long as the chosen freelancer informs the client of the job's progress every three to four days, the client will feel assured that work is progressing as planned - or determine whether to make other accommodations. This simple communication contributes to the respect one would normally expect in offline, professional work environments. However online, it trickles onto other aspects that further contribute to a jobs script's succes
A jobs script built to foster and then disperse respect only enforces the integrity that enable business environments to thrive. When freelancers and clients respect each other, both productivity and available work increase. Clients will want to continue using a jobs script whose freelancers respect the needs of their clients, and freelancers will want to continue using a jobs script whose clients appreciate the efforts of their freelancers.
The entire experience is made up of the blending of several key attitudes and goals - both which benefit the jobs script administrator, freelancer, and client. For in the midst of the entire experience births recommendations, glowing referrals, and of course, repeat business. Interestingly, these events tend spill outside of the jobs script environment onto other areas, which only further benefit all.
The highly successful jobs script will be recommended in offline circles, such as brick and mortar office environments, or online in private discussion groups, chatrooms, and Usenet newsgroups. Good support of an employment community it appears, cultivates its own growth and success. And at the base of this community is constant communication.
But this communication doesn't need to occur from within an exclusive freelancer-client relationship. Occasional newsletters and personal emails from a jobs script's administrator fosters good (i.e. stable) community relationships as well. On one hand, administrator communication grants access to things like system improvement ideas while on the other hand, it cultivates a sense of responsibility and genuine care about how the jobs script is accommodating business need
Our ability to understand the successful potential of a jobs script of course is manifested in its community - not just in size, but in the quality of the communication in the community that takes place. Questions should always be answered in a timely manner - suggestions should always be sought - and problems should always be corrected. Only then will a jobs script prevail in the eyes of its own members and in the eyes of those who have yet to learn more about it.
Some individuals are now only beginning to examine and investigate how the average jobs script has such a direct effect in the business world - online and offline. However for good examples of how a sense of strong community builds jobs script success, peruse the boards of Rentacoder, Elance, ScriptLance, GetACoder, and HotGigs. These websites exemplify the trickle-down effect of fostering strong and professional relationships within an online employment environment, and although each differs from another, they put their freelancers and clients in the unique position to succeed.
Let us not ever forget that community also lends to a jobs script's stability - another key determinant of success. The above example jobs scripts have been up and running online for at least three years - and in some cases more.

Making Work Available Through Recruiting Software

In order for recruiting software to work, it must contain two key players clients and freelancers. Freelancers need to be competent enough to professionally finish a job according to client preferences, and clients need to provide enough work and then pay for that work with reasonable compensation. These are two main characteristics of a successful job board, however it's the multiple job opportunities prevalent in recruiting software that makes it worth its installation.
1. To freelancers who use the recruiting software, multiple jobs spell success. They indicate a viable income source, the ability pay bills, and they point to an opportunity to build an impressive resume at the same time.
2. To clients, multiple jobs spell competence. They indicate a place of repeat business, the ability to repetitively get quality work, and they point to an opportunity to find freelancers who are ready and willing to complete work in a family fashion.
Success is characteristically associated with opportunity, and if you can manage to fill your board with these opportunities (i.e.) jobs, your recruiting software job board will be successful. The question for most however, is how to make these opportunities available in an effort to create (or at the very least, "imply") a thriving work environment. No one knows how difficult it can be to attract online memberships better than seasoned webmasters. The old adage, "If you build it, they will come" has never really accomplished much other than an occasional giggle among those who know better.
There can be no doubt that recruiting software has the potential to create a lucrative and financially rewarding environment. But there's a significant difference between potential and reality. The assumptions are dubious - thus creating an environment where people will want to advertise working opportunities in the first place is vital. This, essentially, requires rewarding employers who use your recruiting software to hire freelancers and pay for work. In order to make rewards an important part of the employment process, you'll need to think of some creative incentives. Something that has helped many recruiting software job boards that already exist is prestigious recognition.
Through prestigious recognition, employers earn a high status of integrity, honesty, and trustworthiness among the freelances who work for them (or who seek to work for them). This is a way of saying, "Our employers are serious about paying freelancers for the work they do." Without some sort of recognition system, the members of your job board will have no way of knowing which employers are trustworthy. And without such a system, it rather easy to understand the hesitation (expressed as recruiting software inactivity).
This is a little like holding up a sign that says "Trust me.... because." No amount of text written in a service agreement or privacy policy is enough to convince serious freelancers that your recruitment software program attracts and services serious clients. A recognition system however, will. And a recognition system that allows freelancers to communicate their opinions of the clients who use your recruitment software program will do it even better.
Known as the "rating system, " recognition is quite common among some of the more popular recruitment software programs already in existence and based on their success, you shouldn't let yours deviate from that pattern. All the practical and technological aspects of any rating system provide too many benefits to try and succeed without one. Since there can be anywhere from 100 to over 10,000 members using a recruitment software program at one time, it's crucial that participants have a measurable gauge of some sort to feel assured and competent in their choice
Once members can rate each other and build working relationships according to things like evaluations, professional standards, and ethics, working opportunities will grow. The best examples of how well concept this works is found in our very own software libraries sprinkled across the Internet. Most software libraries allow users to rate the programs they download and use in an effort to communicate satisfaction. The more ratings a program has, the more trustworthy and competent the program appears. And a software library with a lot of rated software programs is always regarded as an active and trustworthy resource.
The common theme among successful software libraries and job boards is the rating system that members use to discern responsibility - the bare bone determining factor of a quality inventory. A rating system enabled within your recruiting software program will instill the same principles and generate the same approach among your members as well.

Taking Advantage of Job Site Software Resources

Over a relatively short period of time, we've become a new generation capable of accomplishing a phenomenal amount of tasks inside a digitally global system. From ordering groceries online to purchasing prescription drugs over the Internet, it appears as though there's little left to achieve. Even the necessity of earning a living can be achieved online and through job site software, earning a living has seemingly become easier than before.
With just a minimal amount of research, you can learn about some of the great achievements that people have made through the use of job site script and for most of the past decade, they've literally changed the way a significant number of us conduct business. Telecommuting has taken on a worldwide characteristic while online banking, shopping, and paying bills reinforces the new direction in which we are going.
The choice of starting and running your own job site software system is a responsible one - and it's a choice to be commended. In a time where our economy is uncertain, providing a platform that creates jobs is certainly an honorable effort. And as overwhelming as it may sound, there are plenty of job site software resources to help you along such an admirable dedication.
It is not necessary to assume your role as a job site script administrator is a sole one. Hundreds of employment administrators belong to various organizations or attend special industry conventions that exclusively cater to this specific profession. Although others may not operate their systems on the Internet, they all have common goals and they share a common interest to provide a quality employment experience.
As more and more people seek alternative employment (part time, online entrepreneurships, freelancing, etc.), accessibility to job site software systems will increase in demand. Thus your role as a job site script administrator will contribute to satisfying that demand and returning our current state of the economy back to a stable one - possibly even a prosperous one. However far from being the nation's savior, you can call upon various resources for assistance.
We highly recommend that before embarking upon such an endeavor, you learn what's required to (1) operate a large network, and (2) run an employment center. Neither of these studies requires a college degree, so you can quickly learn what you need to understand the basics. On one hand, you'll be responsible for maintaining a network of anywhere from 5 - 10 Internet connected computers or more. On the other hand, you'll be responsible for maintaining your own human resources department and employment dispatch center. Participants committed to thriving with online employment will expect you to have these skills, and they'll expect you to intelligently incorporate them into your job site software system.
The craft in which these skills are assimilated into the online environment will determine your success as a job site scriptadministrator. And the plain truth of the matter, of course, is that the more knowledge you gain through education, networking, or just plain reading books and magazines on the subject, the more successful your business will be. Those who will survive as job site software administrators are those who are the most fittest and capable of accommodating the demands that our new generation of working individuals have.
Local employment centers, libraries, and online forums are certainly viable places to gain the skills you need to be triumphant, however there's nothing like actual hands-on-experience to truly create a job site scriptsystem that addresses concerns from the perspective of your clientele. This experience can be gained by signing up and participating in any number of the job site software systems already up and running. Rentacoder, Elance, ScriptLance, GetACoder, and HotGigs are some of the more popoular job board systems but there are plenty more to peruse - most of which are free to join.
The idea is to interact with these systems as though you were both a freelancer and a client in an effort to determine the best approach for your own job board software system. The experience you glean from these trial memberships is one that will help you shape your system into one that not only satisfies the expectations of clientele that's already being served, but also one that reflects your own preferences.
Another big help is to approach the clientele you wish to serve and simply ask for direction. Ask your clientele to offer suggestions and then use these suggestions to build a job site software system that rivals even the best of the best.

Increasing Website Activity Through Email Signatures

Making sure your website has a steady amount of activity is one of the most important aspects to maintaining a successful website. Increasing website activity is one of the easiest ways you can make your site more popular as well as help your business if it is ran over your site.
By using specific tools, such as email signatures, you can passively increase your websites activity with no extra effort required. Even if you have been using email for years, you may not be aware that you can add signatures to your emails. Email signatures consist of a few lines of text that are automatically added to the bottom of each email you send.
You can usually create these signatures using a preferences tab on the email program you most often use. After you create an email signature, each time you send an email, your email program will automatically add whatever you saved as your signature to the bottom of the email, without you needing to do anything.
Before you can enjoy the increase in website activity through email signatures, you will need to create an appropriate signature. To do this, you should consider two things. First, consider how much space your email program allows you for your signature. This will be important, as you may need to condense your content to fit the program you use.
Secondly, and most importantly, you need to think about what you want to say with your signature. If you are running a business it is probably best to use your name, the business name, address, phone number, and website address. This is a very professional and passive way to promote your website.
If you have a more casual website, you may want to include your name, the website link, and a nice quote or two that you find inspiring, entertaining, or relevant to your website. Think about the overall feel of your website and try to keep your signature in the same tone of writing.
There are a few rules in creating an email signature to help website activity.
The first rule is to keep your signature limited to four lines or less. If you create long signatures, it is likely the reader will completely tune out and not remember anything in your signature. There is also that possibility that they will not even read it because it looks too long. This can occur frequently. Keep in mind that most people use email because it is easy to use as well as fast. Therefore, they will not be prompted to read areas of email that are long because they will feel they take up too much time.
Another rule is to make sure your email signature is appropriate for all ages, genders, and ethnicities. The last thing you want to do is offend someone with your signature because this will not attract website activity, but deter it.
After you successfully create your signature, be sure to save it in your email program so that it is added each time you email someone. You may have to check a specific box in your preferences to get to this point. You can check to make sure it is working correctly by sending yourself an email.
Your signature should show up exactly how others will view it on the email. After everything is working properly, all you need to do is send emails like normal. The more emails you send, the more often your website link will be viewed. When you send emails that are forwarded by the recipient, your signature will be viewed even more than expected.
The chain of email is a complicated one with many viewers, so you will likely get viewers that you do not expect, which is great for your website. The more the link is viewed, the more traffic you will have on your website.
Increasing website traffic through email signatures is one of the most effortless and passive ways of advertising. You will probably even forget that you are advertising because you do not need to do anything to do so after the initial setup phase.
Email signatures are a great tool that cost nothing and can deliver results. Those who do not use them are often those that have no idea how to use them. By learning to set up your own email signature you can immediately begin seeing an increase in traffic to your website.

The Importance Of Reinforcing Legalities Surrounding Job Software

As we enter a new age of communicating and working online, we're faced with new challenges that require more protections than what we've been presented with offline. Although some aspects of these online challenges are analogous to the offline environment, there are a significant number of issues that are specific to Internet networking - in particular, job software.
This is a truly interesting aspect of the working environment especially when we're faced with a set of legal procedures already put into place. Legal documents that typically accompany sub-contracted job offline are somewhat applicable to a job software system, however at the same time, they aren't completely appropriate. The nature of the Internet just doesn't allow us to apply the same procedures and conditions pertinent of the brick and mortar employment office to the dynamic character of an online job software system.
So instead of blindly following what has been set before us in the past, we must quickly adopt current (although changing) practices of ethics and we must adhere to and reinforce them in an effort to validate them. Only when we do so can we create an Internet-based atmosphere that is lucrative for all parties involved.
Having said that, we need to consider requirements. We need to consider what is required to create an atmosphere that reinforces the values we expect offline and online. As mentioned earlier, the offline contract model alone is not sufficient. It simply doesn't make appropriate adjustments for things like email, Internet connections, or viruses. Nor is Internet terminology addressed in offline agreements. Without taking these things into account, we can mistakenly assume that offline laws are adequate to protect our investments.
Because these considerations need to protect a job software system's clientele and the system administrator at the same time, they need to be carefully crafted in such a way that the system fosters confidence. That is - confidence that private information won't be divulged or accessed by strangers, confidence that clientele computers will be protected from viruses, and of course, confidence that disputes will be handled in a way that they are reinforced in any court of law.
As it currently stands, most job software systems have success with reinforcing legalities via terms of service agreements, privacy policies, and sensitive material policies. In these materials, emphasis is on protecting all parties from things like copyright violations, warranties, defamatory content, and viruses. While these protections are typical, they may not be enough to protect a job software system from unforeseen event
In all the discussions of malicious Internet activity, purposely-malevolent acts must be addressed in any agreement, and they must be met with legal repercussions if a job software system is to recover and maintain a reputation of integrity. Because the clientele that accesses your job software system will expect legal reinforcements, conditions or terms need to be clearly defined and accessible not only by your users, but also by the legal representatives that will help you in times of crisi
Therefore terms of service agreements, privacy policies, and sensitive material policies should be within reach from every part of a job software system, and they must be written in a manner that does not cause confusion or create loopholes. Users must also agree to the conditions inside these types of agreements before they are even allowed to access the system. Every once in a while, the way that an agreement statement is written or presented is intentionally misinterpreted for the benefit of a hacker or simply someone who does not wish to comply with "the rules."
To reinforce responsibility, the agreement terms of a job software system cannot be open to interpretation. The terms of such agreements must permeate every conceivable situation we've encountered in the history of Internet crime thus far and they must comply with the laws of a governing state. Since there is no "international" state or "international" law to date, the governing state is usually the state in which the job software system administrator conducts busines
All of this by far is a very broad introduction to the complexities involved in setting up a legal job software system and there are certainly more specific issues that each system must address. As we continue to build a global network that evolves, it's just goes to show you that while the world wide web is prone to illegal activity, it's still possible and reasonable to expect legal protection for job software systems once the proper tools are put into place.

Prostate Cancer Symptoms - Get Informed Now

The fact is about one man in six will be diagnosed with prostate cancer during his lifetime, but only one man in 34 will die of the disease. Maybe you have just been diagnosed with prostate cancer and don't know what to do the first thing to do is don't panic - generally it is slow-growing - next change your diet to living foods. The male hormone testosterone contributes to the growth of cancer.
Some facts Prostate cancer is deadly, but because it is slow-growing can be cured if it is caught early enough. About eighty percent of men who reach the age of 80 have prostate cancer. The main job of the prostate gland is to make seminal fluid, which is the milky substance that transports sperm.
Some men will experience symptoms that could indicate the presence of prostate cancer. Blood in the urine or semen and frequent pain or stiffness in the lower back, hips, or upper thighs can also be symptoms of cancer. And there are other symptoms that may not be mentioned here.
Because prostate cancer symptoms can mimic other diseases and disorders, men who experience any of these symptoms should undergo a thorough workup to determine the underlying cause of the symptoms. And having one or more cancer symptoms does not necessarily mean that you have prostate cancer. If cancer is caught in its earliest stages, most men will not experience any symptom
A chest x-ray may be done to see if there is a spread of cancer. Your doctor may use one or two of the most common tests for prostate cancer detection. A urinalysis test may indicate if there is blood in the urine, which may or may not be related.
Keep in mind that experts report that PSA tests are not reliable they are looking for better ways to diagnose prostate cancer. A prostate gland biopsy usually confirms a prostate cancer diagnosis. And when a digital rectal exam is performed it often reveals an enlarged prostate with a hard, irregular surface.
Surgery, called a radical prostatectomy, usually removes the entire prostate gland and some of the surrounding tissues. Thoroughly discuss all your treatment options and concerns with your doctor and other health professionals too it never hurts to get a second or even third opinion or even more if necessary - don't be afraid to ask. Other medications used for hormonal therapy, with side effects, include androgen-blocking agents, which prevent testosterone from attaching to the prostate cell
Be aware that some men chose natural treatment options and forgo surgery, radiation or chemotherapy. Treatment options can vary based on the stage tumor is in. Prostate cancer that has spread (metastasized) may be treated conventionally with drugs to reduce testosterone levels, surgery to remove the testes and/or chemotherapy or nothing at all.
If more chemotherapy is decided upon after the first round of chemotherapy, most men receive further doses on an outpatient basis at a clinic or physician's office. Impotence can be a potential complication after a prostatectomy or after radiation therapy. Radiation therapy is used primarily to treat prostate cancers classified as stage A, stage B or stage C.
Hormone manipulation is mainly used as a treatment to relieve symptoms in those men whose cancer has metastasized (spread). The approaches to treatment include ever watchful waiting to see whether the cancer is growing slowly and not causing any symptoms. Also surgery, radiation therapy, and hormonal therapy can interfere with libido on a temporary or permanent basi

Generating New Ideas For A Productive Job Script

Efforts to differentiate a job script from the myriad of others already in existence are never in vain. But these efforts aren't always easy to make. At one extreme, the characteristics of a standard job script contribute to a welcomed stable working environment - however clientele may not feel comfortable leaving a job software that's working just fine simply to try one that's no different. At the other extreme, a job script that's wildly different from the norm has the propensity to alienate itself from the industry altogether.
At some point, there has to be a happy medium in which a job software can attract and keep new clientele without scaring anyone away. The following offers a few suggestions you can use to keep your job script exciting and productive at the same time.
1. Lead a clientele directed job software. Let your clientele develop the job script's user agreement or establish effective communication methods. The idea here is to let both the freelancers and clients that use your job script shape their own online employment experience. In doing so, you will generate a tremendous amount of goodwill - however this suggestion does not come without warning. You must lead a clientele directed job software within reason. Nothing you allow your clientele to do should interfere with governing laws. Nor should they disrupt the reputation that you're trying to build.
2. Enforce a global pay rate on your job script. Our different currency rates give some freelancers and clients a financial advantage over one another simply because of the location in which they live. For example, the fees that a freelancer in India may charge may be significantly lower than the fees that a freelancer in North America may charge. To discourage disgruntled American workers from labeling your job script environment as a breeding ground for slave labor, enforce the first international pay scale that appropriates fees within a reasonable pay scale.
3. Set up and hold annual conventions for the people who use your job software. One of the best ways to instill the value of community is by hosting conventions for the people that have made your job script a success. A convention needn't be terribly expensive since there are certainly alternative, less-expensive ways to meet people. One such way is through an online convention - complete with video, speech, and chatrooms. Another way to physically get your clientele together is to meet at a sports event or at a low-cost luncheon.
4. Configure your job software so that it doesn't include weekends or holidays as workdays. Offline, very few people work on the weekend or holidays and chances are, job script administrators don't work on theses days either. So why include them inside the time span in which a project or job is to end? Both freelancers and clients welcome weekend and holiday breaks, so by automating them into your script, you'll yet again, break from the norm and create goodwill among your users at the same time
5. Send out monthly or bi-monthly surveys to your job software users and ask for feedback, suggestions, criticisms, and questions. By requesting ideas and suggestions for improvements, you'll show that you care about how well your job script is reaching its goals and satisfying the needs of your users at the same time.
6. Select a charity each month and dedicate a portion of the income your job software generates toward that charity. Another way to instill community is to band together toward a cause. By making a regular contribution to a charity of your choice (or of your clientele's choice), you can generate a sense of family among your users and help improve the environment or society all at once.
7. Feature a "Freelancer" or "Client of the Month" section on your job script. Sooner or later, your users are going to get curious about each other and a special section dedicated to spotlighting one individual out of many is an appropriate way to satisfy that curiosity. Featured users could submit their own personal stories and with an accompanying photograph while the whole gang gets to know who uses your job software on a personal level, one-by-one.
8. Display industry news as part of your job script. A little more difficult to implement than the above suggestions, this idea has the potential of providing direction to your existing user base, or - validating the intentions of those whom may be questioning their choices. When your clients see actual news stories about the industry that they're working right from the very job software that they use every day, they can get a good idea of how their efforts contribute to its development.

Affiliate Marketing: One of the Most Cost-Effective Ways to Start a Business

Ever heard of affiliate programs? These are forms of Internet advertising that rewards the affiliates for heading toward clogging to the advertiser or for other transactions. The advertiser pays the affiliate to place a link on their website, and the affiliate sends traffic to the advertiser in return. Simply put, it's about estimable commissions to people who help you make sales. It's that easy. NOT.
Affiliate marketing has its ups and downs. It could be draining if you are not armed with updated information and the technical how-tos. But this article's isolated objective is to reach out to you and not to badmouth affiliate sharing.
Here are some theories on why web marketers go gaga over affiliate program
1. Low cost
Folks are scared to start a home-based business because of the capital required. In affiliate marketing, you don't have to spend much to start raking in big green. A lot of affiliate programs can make big cash in a hurry using only free method
2. Inventories not included
Product management fuss can be very stressing. An inventory is not asked to be sitting pretty in the affiliate's basement, nor does the affiliate have to dish out cash to buy the products at wholesale to resell. There's no product in the affiliate's hands, all he or she has to do is promote the vendor's stuff.
3. Comfortable income through leverage
When you have a paid job, your monthly income mainly relies on whether you go to work or not. With affiliate marketing, your affiliates could all just lead surplus to your site without having to lift a finger. From time to time the web marketer earns limitless, since it is a life that matters to the advertiser and Internet marketer. Hours are flexible so people can start for just and hour or two each day while they continue their full time job.
4. Go worldwide
Hot for affiliate marketing, you are getting carried away with a global bull market place. All you have to do is choose a niche product and support all the necessary tools for your affiliates to sell from just about anywhere to your website. The business owner doesn't particularly care where the buyer came from as long as the customer is real and pays. There's no boundaries to affiliate marketing online.
5. Low risk
The very cause for Internet marketer's enthusiasm with affiliate marketing is its having a low risk factor. Especially for those with a good deal set aside for advertising, affiliate marketing is entirely the way to do it. Almost every affiliate program is free to join so people can start promoting products and services with high quality paid services like Google Adwords. The affiliate is also not resposible for customer support and doesn't have to deal with updates or refund
6. No last time
With affiliate marketing, your business works every designated second of the day while attracting a worldwide market! Why would anybody give up automated streams of income? The smart affiliates know that by building a list of highly targeted prospects in their niche that they can offer related products and services to their buyers over and over again. Most niches are hobbies or specific interests full of fanatics who will buy time and time again.
But all of this will go to waste if you don't have the right niche product and all the other great tools to make it big in affiliate marketing, i.e., search-engine-friendly-website. So better work on that first before ever considering those additional benefits.

Article Writing as an Affordable Marketing Strategy

Every so often in Overture, a keyword suggestion tool, you will see the millions of searches done to numerous keywords. Often these keywords are typed on search boxes of search engines, indexed websites containing articles filled with those keywords will be displayed. And notably is that it leads traffic to websites with keyword-rich articles. Yes, the magic word is article
Content is king. You can say that again. That is why writing articles is one of the most utilized Internet marketing media today. Internet surfers just can't get enough of information on specific fields. Writing and submitting these articles is a certain way to drive hot traffic to your web turf.
Here are the benefits that writing articles can give your Internet busines
1. It's absolutely free.
Too incredible to be true? Not. Okay, you have to pay for your Internet Service Provider. That's it. All you need is your thoughts, your computer, and your hands. If you take advantage of those, nothing will stop you from typing words that will complete that article for your website. On which aspect of that process did you really shell out any cent? Feasibly later when your electric bills come. There is software and services available to facilitate the writing and publishing of articles, but no money required to start.
2. Your website friendliness will be noticed in a short period of time.
Submit that article of yours to directories that get the most web traffic and with no installment payments your web friendliness will be crawled. That is if you don't forget including your resort box or byline. By getting your aricles included in big directories like EzineArticles and published on major sites like Squidoo, the search engines will find your site quickly.
3. Obtain back links automatically.
Irregularly as you submit your articles to directories, other websites will enact use of your article too. Including one's profile in your articles, the URL of your website should still be in reach and will subsequently direct over crowding to your website. You'll get backlinks from major sites like the article directories, plus any sites or blogs that pick up your articles are required to maintain your backlinks as well.
4. Improve your standing.
As an Internet marketer, if you only position your articles on your website, you will stay on the treadmill. Conversion is when your traffic converts to sales. You have to convince that you are knowledgeable in your field. And absolutely the greatest way to show that is by writing articles that will allow you some bragging rights, favorably?
Just make your creative juices flow and overcome failure or key in those ideas quickly to jumpstart your article writing spree. Granted those benefits listed are impeccable, a dummy's block is the last problem your mind should ever need to surmount.

A Few Quick Facts About Mold

Something that a lot of people do not know about mold is that it is everywhere we are. It is hard to escape mold entirely, because it is in the air we breathe. It is a form of fungi that grows all around the world and there are countless species of it that can be almost any color you can think of.
A lot of them are harmless, but the ones that are not, such as toxic black mold, are the ones that most people are concerned about growing in their homes. Along with being unsightly, it can cause many health complications, especially if someone living or working in the affected area is allergic to it.
How does it get into your building? It usually comes from outdoors, either due to water leaking into the house from outside or because the humidity in a home is too high. Areas with water damage such as roofs, flooded areas, crawl spaces, and plumbing leaks are often sites for mold infection
Why should you worry about it? Aside from the health complications that some molds can cause, it has been known to grow on furniture, clothing stuffed into the backs of closets, and even childrens toys. All these items need to be cleaned thoroughly and sterilized before being used again, if they are used again at all.
Some items like clothing are easier to throw away than they are to clean. The structural damage that mold can cause to your home overtime can be substantial and as soon as you discover a mold infestation, it is best to either call in a professional to get rid of it or, if it is a smaller infection, remove the mold and clean the area yourself using the different testing and cleaning kits that are available on the market today.
Who should worry about mold the most? The people who are most affected by mold in their homes or places of business are infants and small children, the elderly, people with respiratory conditions such as asthma or emphysema, anyone with a weakened immune system, such as people with HIV or AIDS, chemotherapy patients, anyone who has just had surgery, and pregnant women.
How do you prevent mold? The easiest way to prevent mold is to make sure your home is a cool and dry environment. Bathrooms and kitchens should be paid special attention to.
Clean up spills and leaking water quickly and do not allow standing water in any part of your home, even the basement, because the infestation can and will spread to other areas of your home.
Do your best to direct heat and moisture from clothes dryers, dish washers, stoves, and bathrooms outside your home with the appropriate fans and vents.

The Importance of A Recruitment Script Login System

Evidently, not all recruitment scripts are the same and depending on your experience with searching for the right one, you might have run into some real ding-dongs out there. Ranging from costing nothing at all to costing hundreds of dollars or more, recruitment scripts significantly vary in both quality and function. This article will describe one very important feature that every recruitment script should provide regardless of price.
To protect the people that use the recruitment script, including the administrator (you), job seekers, and employers, the script should ensure each individual that all member records are kept private. This includes the names, addresses, phone numbers, social security numbers (for tax reasons) and financial information (credit card numbers, bank accounts, etc.) of those who will perform transactions on the site.
The recruitment script should allow each person to create a unique username and password that will be used to create and access an account that stores this kind of personal information. None of this information should be accessible by anyone other than the its original account owner.
In addition to storing personal information, the same login section should allow each member to describe his or her skill set. Freelancers should be able to post a resume and clients should be able to post a description of their businesses. Although most of the information contained in the login section should be private, resumes and business descriptions should be accessible by all members that access the recruitment script. Global access to these descriptions is vital to the success of the job board since freelancers and clients will want to learn about each other.
Another reason why every recruitment script needs a login system is to prevent spam. Since each recruitment script is accessible and viewable from the web, spammers will take advantage of a system that doesn't verify who has and who hasn't permission to use it. Spammers will always post inappropriate ads and with today's technology, they can fill a job board with nonsense advertisements overnight and essentially make the board unusable before the next morning.
To make your recruitment script more personal and interactive, you can set it up so that only specific services are available to those who log in. For example, you may not want to show the entire list of available jobs to just any person who stumbles across your recruitment script. Or you may not want just any stranger reading freelancer's replies to client requests. By requiring members to log in first, your recruitment script can display its whole list of available jobs and freelancer replies (and more) only after visitors enter the site with a personal username and password.
One of the key ideas behind a recruitment script is automation and through automation, you can take advantage of such processes via logging. Any recruitment script worth its weight will automatically record all member activities (signing in, posting jobs, responding to jobs, etc.). These records can be handy should a client or freelancer need to track the jobs that they've received, assigned, completed, or paid for. But since this information is private, access via lock and key (username and password) is an absolute requirement.
Of course nothing in a member's account should be non-editable. Over time, people move and change addresses, they get married (or get divorced) and change names, they switch banks, they get new credit card numbers, and so on and so forth. Therefore the information created as a member should be editable and should be quickly accessed by other critical parts of the recruitment script to accurately send out checks in a timely manner, for example. There's probably nothing more haphazard and disorganized than an online business that doesn't update edited records or work with new information as soon as it's made available.
As you can see, a recruitment script's login system is a vital part of keeping a job board not only safe and secure for everyone to use, it's also responsible for building a working environment that's accurate, responsible, timely, and trustworthy. In every aspect, an online recruitment script should duplicate the professional practices exemplified in a temporary employment office or other similar work environment. After all, in our new Internet-based society, the security and protection of private information could never be more important with detrimental cases of identity theft increasing everyday,
So when looking over your options, be sure to select a recruitment script that offers a login system with the features described above.

The Drawbacks Of Using Lipitor

Atorvastatin, marketed under the trade name Lipitor, is used for lowering cholesterol. Atorvastatin inhibits the enzyme located in hepatic tissue that produces mevalonate, a small molecule used in the synthesis of cholesterol. This lowers the amount of cholesterol produced which in turn lowers the total amount of LDL (low density) cholesterol. In 2005, Lipitor sales totaled $12.2 billion, making it the largest selling drug in the world at the time.
Atorvastatin is indicated as an adjunct to diet for the treatment of hypercholesterolaemia. In a clinical trial, after 2 years, a relative risk reduction of 16% in the primary end point rate (death, heart attack, unstable angina, coronary revascularization, or stroke) was seen in patients receiving intensive treatment with the drug. The benefit of intensive treatment was apparent, in some instances, within 30 day
If you have high cholesterol, chances are your physician has already talked to you about Lipitor. Doctors like to prescribe it because it works quickly and easily. However, you need to understand the risk consequences associated with taking these sorts of drugs, because there is a potential for dangerous and sometimes permanent side effects. Some patients have suffered severe health consequences and were not adequately forewarned by their doctor
Some of the more well known side effects associated with drugs known as statins (statins is the scientific classification for drugs such as Lipitor) include liver damage, sexual dysfunction, and peripheral neuropathy. But there have been other studies that have revealed other subtle problems that develop within the patient, which can have huge ramifications for the health of that patient later in life.
In a study performed by Finnish doctors, doctors assessed the effects of the statin drug Zocor on 120 men ages 35 to 64. All of the men had high cholesterol levels, ranging from 232 to 309. One group of men was told to maintain their current diet, while the other group was required to reduce their daily intake of saturated fat to less than 10 percent of total daily calories, and to keep their daily cholesterol consumption below 250 mg.
Then, each of the 2 groups was divided into 2 subgroups. One subgroup would take 20 mg of Zocor per day, while the other group received a placebo. This was continued for 12 weeks, at which point each subgroup switched so that the subgroup that had been receiving the placebo would receive the Zocor for the next 12 weeks, and vice versa. At the beginning of the clinical trial, and after the first 12 weeks, as well as at the end of the second 12 weeks, the cholesterol, blood pressure, insulin, and weight of each patient were measured.
The Zocor clearly worked, because it decreased cholesterol levels by 20.8 percent, while diet alone only decreased cholesterol by 7.6 percent. However, there was an astonishing finding. It was discovered that the drug increased fasting serum insulin levels by 13 percent, and decreased serum concentrations of important antioxidant vitamins by as much as 22 percent. This was a huge revelation.
Decreased insulin sensitivity can lead to a whole host of problems down the road, such as blindness, diabetes, and kidney disease. And antioxidants protect us from a whole host of problems, such as organic brain disease, cancer, and atherosclerosis. So, even though these cholesterol drugs perform a valuable function (lowering cholesterol), they can cause a whole range of other problems and diseases that can make a patient severely ill later in life.
So, you should think long and hard before using cholesterol-lowering drugs. The aforementioned side effects may not be equally severe in all people who take the medication. However, you might be better off working closely with your doctor to develop a program of diet and exercise before using drugs like Zocor or Lipitor to lower your cholesterol.

Email Marketing: Affordable Internet Marketing Technique

Email marketing is labeled as a killer method when it comes to effective low-cost Internet marketing endeavors. This is because it is the most widely-used and has the best reputation in bringing targeted traffic to websites. It is used to stay in touch with your customers or prospective customers, send out invitations, or make special offers.
It's as easy as writing an e-mail that may be in a form of a newsletter or a plain announcement, and sending that to as many targeted recipients as possible. However, there's an ideal way of going about it. Email marketing is not just about writing any email that you will be sending to anybody. To clarify that, here are some simple tips in doing email marketing the best way possible.
1. Join the "Can Spam" campaign.
Email marketing is not at any rate tantamount to spamming. You are not supposed to send information that your email list will not have any valuable use for.
2. Make your email list open it.
Your email might get lost together with the hundreds of emails that inbox owners are confronted with everyday. Improve your subject line by using extra white space creatively, adding text symbols, starting each word with a capital letter, asking compelling questions, not making any unbelievable claims, and not using the word FREE.
3. Keep it real.
Not including any too good to be true statements is not only applicable to your subject line. Your email content must never embody any promise your business can't keep. Make your offer genuinely of value to your recipients.
4. Don't go too low.
If you inform your customers regarding discounts, minimal discounts are not that effective compared with substantial discounts. But never offer discounts that are lower than your profit. It will defeat the purpose of this email marketing effort.
5. Make it eventful.
It's not about contradicting the advice that you should keep an email short and sweet. This tip is on including seminars, conferences and other events in your email. Businesses that require training benefit much from this method. With these RSVP-requiring emails, repetition is important. Just make sure that an ample interval is considered before sending out a reminder email.
6. Post new
Sending newsletters and postcards provides useful information for your subscribers. These are the best forms of reaching out to your customers or prospects. You should keep the information short, simple and direct to the point for this feat to be effective.
With these simple ways of going about your email marketing endeavor, your business will prosper in no time.

Bulimia: A Dangerous Secret

Bulimia is a type of eating disorder that the sufferer often keeps a well-hidden secret.
It has been said that bulimia is in fact the most secretive of all eating disorders. The individual suffering from bulimia learns to keep the eating disorder sometimes hides their condition from public view for many years. The actress Jane Fonda, for instance, confesses to suffering from bulimia from age 12 to 35, when she was finally able to recover. The cycle of binging and purging that define bulimia can be hard to eradicate once it has become established.
Bulimia often begins innocently enough. Most of the time, the eating disorder begins when the individual begins to binge and purge as part of a diet to lose weight. Soon, the binge and purge cycle becomes firmly entrenched, and the bulimic patient may feel incapable of stopping.
Most people understand that bulimia is characterized by an unhealthy binge and purge cycle. But many people don't realize that individuals afflicted with bulimia tend to consume many more calories very quickly, much faster than most people eat. For instance, the normal caloric intake for a woman may be somewhere in the range of 2,000 to 3,000 calories in the course of one day. A person suffering from bulimia may consume around 3,400 calories in two hours!
Obviously, this manner of consumption has many implications. First, eating such a large amount of food in a relatively short amount of time can greatly upset the body's digestive system, and purging only further disrupts the digestive organs. There are also a number of social and financial implications. The individual may isolate themselves from friends and family in order to binge and purge, and they may spend money each day in order to purchase food for their sessions of binging and purging.
The secretive nature of bulimia can make it particularly difficult to diagnose. Most people with bulimia develop the first symptoms of the disease during their early teens or 20s. Because bulimia can be relatively easy to hide, the individuals may not demonstrate overt signs of the disease until reaching their 30s or 40s.
Why is bulimia so difficult to diagnose? Unlike some cases of anorexia nervosa, bulimia may not be physically evident. This is because most people with bulimia are able to maintain a healthy weight. They may even project a healthy image. Many bulimics often seem to be healthy, successful "put together" individuals.
In fact, many researchers have pointed to the "perfectionism" associated with bulimia. Many bulimics express a need to be "perfect" when it comes to their weight and appearance. In addition to striving for perfection, some bulimics may also be privy to other types of compulsive behavior. Some doctors report that their bulimic patients are drawn to compulsive behaviors such as alcohol abuse, substance addiction, and shoplifting.
Clearly, bulimia can affect every part of a person's life. It is considered a serious health risk that should be treated as early as possible to prevent permanent health damage.

Is Medication A "Real" Anxiety Cure?

"Anxiety and Panic Attack sufferers tend to live lives of quiet desperation."
As a personal development trainer specializing in anxiety issues, and a former sufferer of
extreme anxiety and panic attacks, I can assure you the above statement is true-I've been there. I spent years of my life searching in desperation for an anxiety cure that was effective and would last.
Like many people, I tried the medical route I was prescribed anti-anxiety medications that doctors assured me would provide a "real" anxiety cure with no severe side-effects or withdrawal symptoms...at least that's what I was told.
Fast forward two years I had gained 50 pounds, I suffered with chronic heartburn, fatigue, memory loss (my friends began calling me "Mr Short-Term Memory") and sexual "dysfunction" (don't even ask). My relationship was in ruins and I was barely able to function at my job.
And the worst part? My anxiety and panic attacks were still there!
Here's what the medical community and drug manufacturers don't really want you to know anti-anxiety medications are completely ineffective for most people as an anxiety cure. The best anti-anxiety medications available have success rates that are only slightly higher than a placebo (that's right, a regular sugar pill).
And when you factor in severe side effects like I had, and withdrawal symptoms, it's easy to see why these medications aren't really a good idea for many people.
Now, I'm not saying there's a conspiracy going on (exactly), but I am saying that there is a ton of money to be made by keeping this information quiet. And that's exactly what the big corporations do. Which is great news if you are a stock holder, but terrible news if you are desperately seeking an anxiety cure, as I was for so many year
So if medication is not the answer, what is?
A "real" anxiety cure must be sustainable, not a quick fix that makes your life progressively worse over time, creating a type of addiction that keeps sufferers feeling like helpless victims. A "real" anxiety cure is all about empowerment-taking back control over your life.
There is no "quick fix" for an anxiety problem. The only real and lasting cure is in dealing with the issue personally, taking full responsibility for it, and refusing to be a victim that waits for someone "out there" to come and "fix" your life. Because the truth is, no one ever will.
"You will overcome your anxiety problem--no one else will do it for you."
Of course there are resources out there that can help you along the way and even coaching programs to guide you step-by-step, but you must make the first big step right now, and that is to take 100% responsibility for your situation. This is not about blaming yourself--it's about taking your power back.
Don't believe the hype folks. The cure for anxiety is not to be found in a pill. I cured my anxiety and panic attacks years ago by following a number of simple techniques, but the very first step along the way, was to understand that "I" was entirely responsible for my anxiety situation, and only "I" could overcome it.
The sooner you take responsibility and recognize your role in the anxiety--the sooner you'll take back control of your life.

Even You Can Get Paid To Fill Out Surveys

Not many people know this, but you can get paid to fill out surveys. That is right, this is not a scam, you can get paid in cash, but the great thing is that you get paid for just simply giving your opinion. The other great thing about getting paid to fill out surveys is that you get paid, whether you like a product or not. So all you need to do is have an opinion and you will be paid in cash, good and points. The cash is really straight forward and you will be happy know that there are many people around the world making a good living just filling in surveys all day.
The average survey takes about 20 minutes to fill in and that same average survey has a cash payout of about $10, so if you do the math, it take 20 minutes, if you do surveys a day you will get a payout of about $200 a day for 3 hours work. Now does that not sound logical? Many people have left their jobs to stay at home and work for 3 hours a day to make $4000 a month. Many of the professional survey takers who get paid to fill out surveys will tell you that you will need to make a serious monthly income, and for that income to be stable.
There is no use working 3 hours a day if you are looking to do this as a career. If you work normal office hours, which is about 9 hours a day, you can make up to $12000 a month with a cash payout survey. If you are just looking do get a few freebies you can get paid to fill out surveys, but you can choose to get paid in goods like TV's, Hi Fi's, DVD players, gift vouchers, year supplies of things like cold drinks, cinema tickets and other great thing like that. You could also take the payment in points, which you can use at anytime anywhere on the net to purchase basically anything you want.
The great thing is that the point you get paid to fill out surveys work basically like cash, so you withdraw the points and cash gets transferred into your bank account, or you can use the points as they are purchase items anywhere on the net. Some surveys out there even offer to a higher payout, so you can get paid to fill out surveys at a rate of up to $20 pr even $70.
However, paid surveys like these are really hard to find. Only the most serious companies who really want your opinion, are willing to pay larger sums. In the end, it's a numbers game and the more small surveys you complete, the better your return on investment.

Thinking Through Recycling Myths

Recycling is one of the things people think of first when they think about being environmentally friendly. In some ways that's a pity, as reduce and reuse really should come first, but recycling is nonetheless important, and one of the easiest for the government to encourage both individuals and businesses to do.
Recycling has improved greatly these past several years, but it's still not great. Far more could be recycled, especially when it comes to paper. It is still easier in many areas to throw paper in the regular trash, whether you're at home, work or out and about.
Myths about recycling abound, as many people don't really think carefully about it.
One is that recycling is hard. This one really depends on where you live. Where I live it is ridiculously easy for the materials that are accepted. One bin, no sorting required. Other places require sorting, but do provide the bins. It's not that common anymore for recycling to be difficult.
Some also claim that recycling takes up just as much energy as using new material
How close this comes to being true depends on the product. Glass and metal recycle fairly easily. Plastic is more difficult. In fact, recycled plastic generally costs more than virgin plastic.
Plastics in general can be truly confusing. Which can easily be recycled depends upon the area you live in. Where I live, only #1 and #2 plastics are accepted for recycling. Other places accept a much broader range. I truly wish we had such a program here, but we do have to work with what we have in a given area.
Recycling in general costs money, often more than merely dumping the trash. Really this should not come as a surprise there's more effort involved. But it appears that it may not be as cost ineffective as some have claimed.
Then there are the claims that there is plenty of landfill space. This is combined with the idea that recycling is expensive, wasteful and ineffective to make the point that recycling is nothing more than a green myth itself.
So how available is landfill space?
I'm not going to mess with the claims that all we need is a single landfill x square miles in area and however many feet deep. That's just not practical. Rather, I will look at how we are doing currently in terms of landfill space and over the next few years. To do this, one must also consider location. It is far easier to find landfill space in some areas than it is in others. The East Coast in particular has this difficulty.
Privatization has helped the landfill space issue tremendously. It's not in the crunch it once was. And many places have years and years left in their landfills. But they are not infinite.
And then there's how you make a landfill. The land used in landfills could be left natural or used for other purposes. I cannot think of any benefits to not trying to fill them more slowly. As landfill space becomes more scarce, the costs of using them go up. It won't always be relatively cheap to throw out garbage.
Some also assume that biodegradable means that it will break down within a reasonable time. This doesn't work in your typical landfill, where everything quickly gets covered up and decomposes in an anaerobic process. Most biodegradable items need air to really break down, and produce methane as they do.
Best thing to do with truly biodegradable items is to use them in your own composting. You can have the control over them so that they will break down into something reusable. You will want to be certain that you are using things that will be friendly to your garden, of course.

Making Creative Output A Practical Reality

If you want to bring your creative ideas to life, you'll know that you need more than just inspiration. It takes planning and persistent effort too. So if you're brimming with creative ideas but struggling to develop them into tangible output, here are a couple of techniques you can use to make creative output a practical reality.
1. Declutter your way to creativity
Clutter takes many different forms. The most obvious is the physical clutter in your home. Less obvious, but just as constricting, are the emotional and mental clutter you carry around in your head and in your habits. I'm a great believer that the first step you need to take towards greater creativity in your life is to create a space for it.
Sometimes you need to create space without knowing what will fill it. Just clear the clutter and trust that something creative will appear once there's space for it. In my experience it always does. Other times you need to create space with a specific purpose or creative project in mind.
The process of decluttering itself often involves tough decisions, followed by a brief period of grieving for the ex-clutter. But once you've got through that, you experience a fabulous lightness and sense of possibility. This is the space in which your creativity can come out to play.
- So if you stop for a moment and think about where the clutter is in your life, what springs immediately to mind?
- If you were to clear one particular area or type of clutter in your life, which one would free you up the most to get creative?
- What's the first step you need to take to get clearing and to create some creative space for yourself?
2. Create structure to support your creativity
There's a fairly widely held belief that truly creative people need to live unstructured, bohemian lives and that any hint of a routine will kill their creative output. Now while that may be the ideal for a rare few artists, for most people it removes the possibility of a support system.
I believe that the structures and routines you build in your life are the foundations which support your creativity. They can, of course, also stifle it. So you need to make sure that you're building the right sort of foundations. And that means designing your day-to-day routines thoughtfully.
Ultimately you want your creativity to have some output. That involves creating the space and the routines which will allow you to practise your art regularly, whatever form it takes. The grander the scale of your creative ambitions, the more space and disciplined structure you will need.
- Have a think about how much time you want to spend each day (or each week) on your creative project
- What routine or structure could you put in place to ensure that you get the time you want?
- If you can't get all the time and space you want, how could you get at least a part of it? What's the first step towards it?

How To Decide How Far To Go When You Update Your Kitchen

In many families the kitchen is where they hang out and spend a lot of time together. In my home growing up that was a requirement. No matter what we had going on even when I was a teenager we had to be home to have dinner together. Many families will help each other cook and clean and talk about their day in the kitchen. In a lot of homes kids do their homework at the kitchen table so it is a very well used room. With all this in mind it just makes sense that it should be given priority in updating to make it the best it can be.
When it comes to updating or remodeling the kitchen you can spend a little or spend a lot. There are remodeling plans for the budget minded as well as those who seek a full kitchen remodel. The kitchen can be a place in the home where you can spend a lot of money on a remodel, in fact only the bathroom can rival it.
You can give your kitchen a new look with just a few items if you are creative. You don't necessarily have to invest in a total kitchen remodel to make it look like a totally new place. For example, instead of buying totally new cabinets you can resurface the fronts of the cabinets instead and install new hardware. Another update that can make a kitchen look completely new is installing new counter tops which is really a job that one can do themselves with a little instruction. Another popular upgrade many people choose is to install new floors. If you have old linoleum floors you will not believe the difference it can make to put down tile and then create a matching backsplash behind the sink.
Almost any kitchen can be given a great new look as well as increased function by investing in new appliances. Buy matching appliances such as a new refrigerator, range, and dishwasher and you will instantly improve the appearance of the kitchen. Just the simple act of changing out the hardware on the drawers and cabinets can sometimes have a dramatic effect.
If you have chosen to go the route of the full remodel job for your kitchen you will also have some choices to make. You can hire a qualified contractor to handle the entire job or you can do it yourself and hire out the craftsmen you will need to complete certain jobs. You need to evaluate how much money have put aside to spend and then add at least 10% of it for unexpected things that always happen on any remodel job. If you intend to own your home for a long period of time you may go for a complete new kitchen. One thing is for sure, regardless of which way you decide to go you will be sure to get a lot of enjoyment from your updated kitchen.

Children's Pedal Cars: Perfect Outdoor Play Toys

Children love to play outside. In this day and age of technology, television, and computers, it is more important than ever to encourage your kids to play outside. One way to do so is to get them pedal cars. Pedal cars are toys that not only give children a large dose of healthy exercise, but also make it fun to play outside. Most kids are interested in doing activities that make them feel like adults, and if they have a realistic looking pedal car to play with, you can expect them to spend hours wheeling around outside.
First you need to consider the technical aspects of the car. Will it be easy for your child to drive around? It is important that it has a low center of gravity, so that all 4 wheels stay on the ground even if a sharp turn is made. You should also check out the pedal mechanism, to make sure that it is difficult or impossible to get caught, pinched, or entangled in it. Most toy makers focus on making the moving parts as safe as possible and resistant to snaring children, so you usually won't have to worry too much about it.
Next you can consider the style of the car. Companies who specialize in pedal cars offer all sorts of different styles, from classic cars to monster trucks to airplanes and tricycles. If your child has shown interest in any of these things, then you can look for a specific style. Otherwise, you might consider getting a car that is modeled after the one that you most frequently drive your kids around in. This is very fun for the child, as he or she gets the experience of controlling the vehicle and deciding where it goe
So if you are interested in buying a pedal car for your child to play with and exercise in, you can investigate the many possibilities. There are pedal cars in many different venues, from toy stores to the internet. Just decide on the model that will make your kid want to drive it the most, and look for the best price. You'll be glad that you made the investment, especially when you have strong and in-shape kids who are already developing good driving skills and reflexes. Also, always be sure to set boundaries and rules for where your kids can pedal to, and what they can do.

How To Choose The Right Pot Rack To Organize Your Kitchen Properly

If you are lacking in space for storing your pots and pans you will want to consider a quality pot rack. I don't know about you but I hate digging through a maze of pots and pans in my cabinets when I am trying to cook a meal. Pot racks can be a great tool for organizing your pots and pans but it can sometimes be difficult to find the right one just because there is such a wide range of choice
The first thing you need to do is see how much storage you really need. The best way to accomplish this is to take every pot and pan you own and place them on a table and then sort them out. If you have a pot or pan you haven't used in over a year place it in a separate pile. Secondly, remove any damaged pots or pans and put them in this pile. If you are a pack rat and you have a large number of the same pots and pans put some of them here as well. Now you can take the throw away pile and give away the ones that are good to charity and throw the damaged ones in the trash. What you have left are the items that you need to find a pot rack to fit.
Next you will need to know the sizes of the pots and pans so that you will know better what size pot rack you will need. You also need to know how much the individual pots weigh so that you get hooks of the appropriate strength for each pot. If you are going to be placing them all in one rack that is held by hooks you will need to know the collective weight so that you have the proper support. You also need to know the number of pots and pans to be able to analyze the proper size you will require. Many of the pots you have may have handles that can be used to hang them from so be sure you have this information as well.
Now that you know how many pots and pans you will have and the sizes and weights you are ready to decide where to put the rack. There are different types of pot racks that you can find including the ones that hang from the ceiling that most people are familiar with as well as free standing and wall mounted. Take a look at your available space and measure to see if it will accommodate the size rack you will need. Check to see where the studs are in your walls or if ceiling mounting, where the joists are located.
Are you the type person that wants everything at your fingertips or do you just want a clutter free kitchen? For me, I like the aspect of not having to go digging or looking for the pots and pans I need to cook with so I have mine hanging right over the island in the middle of our kitchen so they are right where I need them.

How Cardio Fitness Programs Accelerate Weight Loss

Cardio fitness programs are aerobic exercises that help you loose weight. The more vigorous the exercise, the more amount of fat and calories you burn.
Everyone who exercises has a set heart workout rate that is ideal for him or her when they exercise. For most people, it is recommended that they exercise within 55 to 85 percent of their maximum heart rate for approximately 25 to 30 minutes, usually per day. If you are an experienced exerciser, you may want to increase your pace or exercise longer. If you are beginner you may want to start at the minimum recommended exercise level.
You can find free heart rate calculators online that can help you determine your ideal exercise rate. You can calculate this by First you fill in your age, level of exercise (i.e. 60% of your maximum heart rate), and then you press the calculate button. Then, below the calculate button it shows you what your target heart rate should be in one box, and then in another it will show a range.
The targeted number is the number, which you will aim for when exercising, and the range is the lowest to the highest recommended heart rate for you. For example, if you are a woman who is 32 years old your target heart rate may be 112 beats per minute and the range would be 103 to 159 beats per minute.
Keep in mind that health and weight may also be a consideration when figuring out what is your ideal exercise heart rate, but this heart rate monitor type does not have that as one of the factors. You can use this as a guide, but it is also important for you to use your own judgment as well when exercising. You want to participate in a fitness program that will help you lose weight but you also do not want to over exert (exhaust) yourself to the point that it can cause you health problem
There are quite a few fitness programs that can help you lose weight and can be performed at varying speeds. These include aerobic exercise routines, dance classes, and sports workouts. All of these types of exercises will help you burn fat and calories. The more running involved in an exercise the better. Fast walking, treadmilling, stair climbing, and bicycling are all options for you as well.
When you perform the above exercises, you should slow down to a stop at least once and check your pulse to check your heart rate. In order to check it by hand, you would have someone time you for six seconds and then multiply that number by 10. This would be your heart rate. (You can also count for the full 60-second, or 10 seconds, or for however long of a time you think you will not lose count.)
If you know what level your heart rate is when you perform any of the above exercises, then it will help you determine how effective your fitness program is. If you find that your heart rate is at the recommended level for your age then you know your workout will help you lose weight. If you find that you are not at the recommended heart rate level, under most conditions you may want to consider increasing the intensity of your aerobic workout.
Keep in mind that there may be other factors that can determine what type of workout is best for you. For instance, the length, intensity, and type of workout you participate in may vary slightly between men and women. Many factors come into play when you figure your exercise intensity.
In addition, there are a variety of other tests you can take that will help you determine whether or not your fitness plan is working for you. For example, one of these other tests would measure the percentage of body fat that you have. The average ideal body fat percentage for men is 15% to 18% and for women it is 22% to 25%. If you measure your body fat percentage periodically this will help judge how
If you are confused about how to figure out what your ideal fitness program should be, then you can consult a doctor or personal fitness trainer. They will help you create the ideal fitness plan for you, which will help you lose weight at a slow, steady pace. They will also guide you in ways to keeping the weight off.

Why Become a Distributor

You may come up with the question at any time- why become a distributor? There are so many other options available. Why become a distributor when you can start your own business or you can become an employee?
As a distributor, you have many facilities and benefits. These benefits are special to the distributors only. These facilities are specific to the distributors. Some such facilities and benefits are Inventory buy back, customized packaging, private labeling, more product line, competitive pricing, and others. When you are left with some unsold inventory, you can send them back to the company. You get your money back. Customized packaging for your and private labeling is offered to you in some cases. You can always get the products at a competitive price.
As a distributor, you also get better product lines from the company. No advertising needed, the company bears it all.
As a distributor, you get a share of the profit you make for the company by selling their products and services. The more profit you can make, the more share you can get from it.
There is a support system available for distributors also. You are supported in marketing, sales, promotion, and other operations. Training is also provided to you from the company. This helps in learning sales, marketing, operation, and the business as well.
Distributorship is a strong influential position. You can influence the company's decision regarding distributing and sales through distributing network. The influence is possible because you offer a lot of profit to the company in the form of sales.
When you can not start your own company because of many reasons, you can become a distributor. As a distributor, you have your own business. You also perform the same business functions. You can enjoy it also, if you enjoy doing business. You have your operations, you have our finance department, you have people working under you, and you have your office and so on.
Use your entrepreneurship skills. When you become a distributor, you can use your entrepreneurial skills. In other services or employment there is lesser scope for using your skills. Here you can use those skills as they are needed for your business.
Risk is less in becoming a distributor. When you have your own business, you take a huge risk. If it does not work, then you will lose a lot financially. But in case of distributorship, your loss will be less. There are provisions of getting back the money invested in inventory by buy back process. Also the inventories that do not sold are taken back by the company. In many cases, you will also get the fee you paid for distributorship, when you want to stop distributing the product.
If you want to start your business, first working as a distributor may be more beneficial for you. First learn the business and then go for your own business. Get experience first doing this, then start your own business
Learn from the company how it does business, how it manages, and how things go. Sales and marketing experience will help you later when you start your own.

Protect Your Credit

Identity theft and credit card fraud are among the fastest growing crimes in the U.S. It is estimated that between $2 billion to $3 billion in credit card fraud is commited every year. The ways theives are able to gather the personal identifications of the victims of this fraud vary. They include stealing credit cards, stealing from mailboxes, going through the trash of the victims, and simply looking over the shoulder of victims.
However, there are several steps you can take immediately if your credit card becomes lost or stolen, or if you find bills in your mail that you do not recognize or charges you did not authorize.
The first step you should take is to initiate a fraud alert on all of your credit card accounts. There is a common misconception that by doing this it will prevent you from obtaining any further credit cards or financing in the future. This is simply untrue. What a fraud alert will do is require creditors to contact you by telephone before any new accounts are opened in your name. It will also require creditors to contact you by telephone before making any requested changes to any existing accounts, such as increasing your line of credit.
To place a fraud alert on your accounts, contact any one of the three major credit bureaus
Equifax 1-800-525-6285
Experian 1-888-EXPERIAN
TransUnion 1-800-680-7289
The credit bureau you contact will then contact the remaining two bureaus and all three will send you a current copy of your credit report, free of charge. When you receive these reports, look them over carefully. Note any accounts you didn't authorize or debts you don't recognize. Also check that all your personal information, such as name, address, and Social Security number are correct. If any incorrect or fraudulant information is found, contact the credit bureau immediately to have it removed. Then continue to check your credit report on a regular basis to insure no further fradulant activity is found.
After initiating a fraud alert, you should then immediately close any accounts you think may have been violated and submit an ID theft affidavit to the credit card companies in question. You should then file a police report with your local police department and also file a case with the Federal Trade Commission.
Identity theft is a federal offense with stiff penalties for those who dare to attempt it and are caught. By following these simple steps you can protect your credit and prevent yourself from becoming a victim of this very serious crime.

Eight Tips for Purging the Pre-Wedding Stress

The last several weeks before the wedding can be the most stressful time period of the entire wedding planning process. Sure, the big items are all taken care of. The dress has been ordered, as have the flowers, photography, and the cake. But there are a ton of details that need to be wrapped up. Things like figuring out the seating plan at the reception. Like picking out your wedding cake jewelry or your bridesmaids gifts. And do not forget arranging someone to pick up aunt Georgina at the airport after your cousin bailed on you.
And that is assuming that your florist's shop does not burn down two weeks before your wedding... The whole thing can get to be a little bit overwhelming.
You can not avoid the pre-wedding stress entirely - no, not even if you have enough money to afford to hire a full service wedding planning service that claims all you have to do is show up.
You will not avoid it entirely no matter what you do, but you can take some steps to help yourself survive. So here are seven tips to help you in controlling the pre-wedding stress
Go Out to Dinner Go alone or with a friend or with your intended. It does not matter. What does matter is taking the time to slow down enough to sit and enjoy a high quality, healthy meal (sorry, no junk food). You need the time out and your body needs the nutrients. A nourished and rested body is better equipped to face the stress of last minute wedding preparations.
Take a Trip to the Health Spa Make an outing of it with your bridesmaids and let yourself be pampered. Not only will you come out looking better than ever, but you will feel more prepared to handle the stress of this period of your life.
Prayer / Meditation One of the chief benefits of prayer and meditation is that it helps you put things in perspective. Measured against an almightily God and all of creation, your wedding preparation stresses are relatively insignificant. When you see them in that light, it becomes much easier to control your stress level and deal with problems as they arise.
Work Out Exercise your stress away. Really. It works. You see, exercise prompts the body to release a chemical called endorphins - resulting in a natural high, helping you to feel better after a stressful day dealing with all the details of putting together a wedding. Better yet, it has the added advantage of creating a healthier you, toned up to fit into your wedding dress (one common pre-wedding related stressor) and better equipped to handle wedding related stress.
Go to a Movie This is not date night. If you are stressed get some of your girlfriends and catch a chick flick. If your future husband is pulling out his hair, send him off with some of his buddies to watch Bruce Willis blow something up. You need to let yourself be what you are, let him be what he is. Things work better that way.
Go Do Anything Active Anything, that is that is not wedding related. Go for a hike. Try to learn to windsurf. Mountain bike. Ride horses. Ski. Walk on the beach. The point here is not the exercise, though you might get some of those benefits too, the point is that you can purge your wedding related stress often by simply giving yourself a change of pace. Do something fun, but do something active so that your mind does not wander back to the pile of wedding related jobs yet to be done.
Get Away as a Couple Go for a picnic. Go for a day trip to the beach. It does not matter as long as you take the time to work on your relationship - not the wedding, your relationship. You are getting married to your best friend, but modern weddings have a way of driving a wedge between couples. You will enjoy your wedding day (not to mention the rest of your life) a whole lot more if you take time periodically to build your relationship during the wedding planning process and make sure that the wedding is not undermining your marriage.
Create or Buy a Wedding Day Survival Kit We have all heard the stories of wedding day stress run amok over a broken nail, lost bobby pin, spilled snack or??? Going to the effort to have a wedding day survival kit in an easy to carry case ready to pick up and take to the ceremony with you will give you great peace of mind.
Yes, the weeks running up to the wedding day are demanding. But if you take time to purge the stress regularly and intentionally, you will have a great foundation for a happy and healthy wedding day.
