Are you a Money Magnet or a Debt Magnet?

Chances are that you, as so many others, have a hard time imagining yourself as a person who just randomly attracts money. You might be able to picture yourself finding coins on the street but you don't see how you could be the kind of money magnet that attracts thousands of dollars with very little effort.
Let me put this question on the head, and ask you Can You be a Debt Magnet? I have a feeling it's a lot easier for you to answer yes to this. Why is that? Why is it easier for you to see yourself attracting debt than money? Being a debt magnet and a money magnet are just opposite sides of the same thing, so why is it easier for you to imagine something negative than something positive?
It's because of the way most of us were trained to think about money. We were taught that money is hard to come by, that money flies out and barely even trickles in. We think that people who seem to be money magnets have something we don't some talent or at least knowledge that makes them easily attract money to them.
We learn from we are very young that debt is easy to attract and that we always have to prepare for it, otherwise we ca loose everything we have.
Do you see how this way of looking at things doesn't make sense? If you know about the law of attraction, you know that preparing for something equals bringing it about. So in all the ways we try to be sensible and responsible and make sure we are prepared for debt, we are actually bringing it about.
Why is it easier for us to misuse our imagination for bad then it is to use it for good? If you imagine yourself being a money magnet every day and start expecting money to flow to you easily and freely, you will receive money. The key to being a money magnet is to expect money to flow to you. You have no problems imagining a penny coming your way today, have you? So why can you easily see yourself being a money magnet for small amounts but not for large?
The answer is in how you use your imagination. When you are imagining a small amount of money, your logical mind can easily think of many different places where you might find a penny (most of them probably include looking at the ground). Using you imagination on this level allows your logical mind to still keep control and it can easily see this scenario happen.
When you are trying to visualize being a money magnet for larger amounts however, your logical mind has a hard time seeing how it would happen and puts down its foot saying "No way, I can't see that happening." This is where you really need to draw on the power of your mind you don't attract with your logic, you attract with your imagination.
Have you ever daydreamed of going on an exotic vacation or dating a supermodel? I'm sure you had no problem enjoying your daydreams because your logic wasn't trying to take control because it knew you were only dreaming.
Your challenge is to do the same when you are imagining being a money magnet you have the power to push your logic away and remind yourself that you don't need to be able to see how it's going to happen you just need to dream and believe that it will happen.

The Reasons People Give Up On Their Blogs

The latest trend in the online business world is to create and produce your own blog that displays content and attracts large amounts of people. Blogs have become very popular over the last few years and millions of them have been created on the Internet by ordinary people with little to no experience of designing web pages. They are very easy to design and somewhat simple to regulate as a part time busines
Over the years, blog sites have become a major source of income for many people and have turned into a very profitable business. They attract large amounts of Internet visitors who come to learn about certain themes and issues. As time goes on, however, many blog site owners face great difficulties that can cause deep frustration to set in.
As this frustration continues to sink in, blog owners soon decide to give up on their blogs and simply leave them as a dead site on the Internet. There are many reasons why people give up on their blogs, some which are less honorable than others. This particular article will discuss some of the reasons why people stop caring about their blog site
Decline Of Visitors
Sometimes blog owners will have quick success and see a lot of Internet traffic coming to their blog site, which will make them very excited. This initial traffic flow, however, might eventually slow down and become stagnant. This decrease in a site's traffic flow can be a very frustrating thing for blog owners, and can even cause them to give up on their blog
Multiple Blogs
There are some people who create multiple blog sites at the same time, which cause them to become very overwhelmed with all of the work that needs to be done. With so many blog sites to keep track of, many bloggers soon lose control of all of them and abandon the ones that are the most complex. In order to be truly successful, a blog owner should concentrate on one single blog in order to become too stressed.
Lack Of Immediate Success
Another reason why blog owners give up on their blogs is because they do not see immediate and quick success. They have a lot of excitement built up during the blog creation process, but that soon declines as time goes on and they do not experience a quick profit or large traffic flow. With the lack of immediate success, blog owners sometimes become very impatient and give up the task of regulating their blog site
Lose Interest
There are many instances when people simply lose their interest in blogging altogether and do not want to have anything to do with blog sites anymore. They have often started the blog with a simple interest and curiosity of how the whole process works, but then lose interest in it and begin to focus their attention on something more exciting. They may sometimes even lose interest in the specific topic that they originally chose for their blog site.

How To Litmus Test Your Website's SEO Campaign?

It's well known by advertisers that even a small change can have big results with prospects. This is the reason that most advertisers feel the need to test various advertising platforms and packages, but of course one of the big concerns with this type of testing is finding a cost efficient way of doing it.
This dilemma becomes especially important for those advertisers relying heavily on a Search Engine Optimization (SEO) marketing campaign. They need a tried and true method when deciding what keywords and/or key phrases actually work and which ones need that little extra tweak to increase page ranking and by proxy sale
Luckily for such cases there is such a litmus test and it's called Pay Per Click (PPC). Experts all agree that PPC is an excellent way to test your advertising campaign in several different way
First off, with PPC testing the target audience is large enough that you are ensured of accurate results because you can increase and decrease the test size as needed. Usually 30 clicks is the least amount of clicks you need to see if this keyword or key phrase is converting better for you.
The size of the test audience ensures that any results you get can be counted on and not just considered some kind of regional fluke. As well, the reactions of the prospective customers are easy to track with the PPC system. Using it as your benchmark for any particular keyword or key phrase that you hope might make a difference in your SEO marketing campaign, within only hours you're able to see either increases or decreases in the click through rates which tell you how a particular ad is doing.
As a corollary to that notion, the PPC system is highly flexible. You can come up with and try new ideas almost instantly, and see very quickly what ideas are working and which ones aren't. This of course becomes essential as you try out new keywords. With PPC there's no need to look beyond your own screen to evaluate what is working and what doesn't in the realm of search engine optimized content.
And the experts suggest that PPC testing is very effective but time consuming as well. They stress that the person hoping to get the most from this marketing tool needs to spend the time to monitor it to make sure it works. They suggest the best results are obtained by a constant tweaking process, and that if you'd don't have the time to spend monitoring its progress, it might be best to try another form of advertising.
Also keep in mind that high clicks doesn't ensure high conversion. Track you ad clicks all the way to conversion (actual sale). So if 30 people clicked on Ad for Keyword Phrase 1 and 2 converted to a customer then this is better then if 60 people clicked on Keyword Phrase 2 and only one of them bought. Always remember your goal is minimum CTR expense and maximum profit per visitor. Ultimately the only way you'll be able to beat your competitor is to make each visitor to your website worth more which will allow you to spend more then your competitors for each customer.

Choosing the Right Content Management System

Building and maintaining a web site is a lot of work one of the tools that can make it significantly easier is a dedicated content management system.
In a nutshell, a content management system is a set of server side utilities that let you manage your site's cascading style sheets in an easy to use, centralized interface.
More sophisticated systems include the ability to upload content, allow visitor creation of contents, and even manage libraries of graphics, affiliate program links and more.
While there is a technical layer to using a manager, the essence of one is that you can buy something "off the shelf" to get your web site up and running rather than paying for a custom developer to write one for you.
Your need for a CMS will grow as the number of pages (or linked sites) you run increase
The most common installation strategy for a content management system is when upgrading an existing web site to be more interactive, most often when the client is asking you to replace a sporadically updated company web site with blog-style software.
If you're maintaining web sites for clients, the point of a management system is that now your client can do the mind numbingly tedious bits of posting new content it no longer comes to your inbox to be sorted, formatted and posted, when those operations can take longer for the applications to load than it does to do the operation in question.
If you're maintaining your own web site, it does you more good the more you intend to update a site. Lots of sites are still holding to the 1996 model of company web sites four pages that never ever change.
The key to getting good traffic (and good responses) on your web site is all about fresh, regularly updated content, and the CMS makes that easier for you to do less overhead and less work, and more time spent doing the kinds of things you went into business to do.
Choosing the right system means looking at what you intend to do with your web site. In a nutshell, your choices come down to the following
Hire someone to write one for you. This can get expensive, fast. If all you're looking for is a front page blog, avoid this one WordPress or Movable Type do it better and are free.
If you're looking for something more specific, like on site whiteboards or version tracking of submitted articles, or deadline management for freelance contributors, then a custom content management system is worth looking into.
Buy (or license) a commercial package. If you're doing enterprise grade IT work, a commercial package with support might be your best bet.
If you're running your own business, there are good odds that your hosting provider provides a couple of content management packages that you can use.
Install an open source package. These have the advantage of the right price (free), but may require more technical expertise to set up and run.
If you're running on a hosting server with shared hosting environments, you may have to get your hosting provider to install it and set it up for you.
With this knowledge in hand, choosing the right management system should be a straightforward decision.

Why Debt Consolidation Works?

Many people find themselves in difficult financial situations. We all become over extended at times. Each month it seems like our debt keeps growing. Our credit card balances never really lower even though we are making payments each month. We constantly feel the anxiety of the frustrations caused by debt. Finally we reach a point where we can no longer afford to keep paying high payments without seeing any reductions in our debt. The problem of never being able to get out of debt is two folds. You will never get out of debt by continuing to get into debt.
Getting out of debt requires paying off more than you spend. So you paid $200 last month on that credit card bill, but you spent $500 with your credit card to get your car fixed. Getting out of debt also requires planning and discipline in spending which for many people is the hard part. Debt consolidation aides in stopping the getting into more debt cycle by negotiating with your creditors a consolidation plan that may lower your interest rate and help you get out of debt in as little as 36 months.
What debt consolidation companies does is create a structure that helps you get out of debt by forcing you to stop using the credit cards that you have consolidated and by having a structured payment plan towards headed towards your goal of being debt free. How do you know a good debt consolidation company from a bad one? It is true that not all debt consolidation
companies are created equal. The first thing you need to make sure before you sign up with a debt consolidation company is to ask yourself whether the terms make sense. Keep in mind that debt consolidation companies are not miracle workers however, there are keys signs that you should look for.
A good consolidation company will spell out the terms of the agreement in clear English. You may be required to put an initial deposit however, you should get that deposit back after the completion of the program. Some consolidation companies do charge administration fees, but it should never be an exuberant amount. Finally, a good consolidation plan is one that you can afford with a defined end date. The problem with credit card debt is that you are never aware of when you will actually pay off that debt. Make sure that you know specifically the length of the program.
Critics of debt consolidation programs say that you do not need them to get out of debt but are they right? Well you do not need a personal trainer to get into shape, but a good personal trainer will give you the structure you may need to stay focused in order to reach your goals. A good coach will do the same. Let us be honest with ourselves. We all need to be coached sometimes, and if you are serious about getting out of debt, a debt consolidation program may be just want the doctor ordered.

Top 5 Reasons You Should Market Online

With Internet technology on the rise, almost every business has a website that offers information and/or the company's services or products to customers. In order to further promote their site and services, businesses have begun utilizing Internet marketing strategies to drive more traffic to their site, increase their sales and bring their website and business to a whole new level.
Though many are jumping on the online marketing bandwagon, some companies, particularly smaller or home-based businesses, are weary of the new technology and have yet to take the plunge. Here are the top five reasons why every company, small or large, should market their services online
1) More Customers
Marketing online will dramatically increase your pool of potential customers. With billions of people using the Internet each day, you're bound to get more recognition with online marketing than through traditional forms of advertisements. By adding a contact email to your website, you're enabling people to contact you and provide their information, proving that you're reachable and interested in their feedback.
2) Networking
Internet marketing allows you to network with people that you would have never met otherwise. Along with potential customers, millions of other business owners and companies market online and use the Internet to network with others. Joining newsgroups and networking communities allows the opportunity for business deals and sales that would have never been possible.
3) Freedom Of The Web
A great thing about marketing on the Internet is that you don't have to see your customers in person. You're free to sit at home or in your office wearing pajamas speaking to potential customers through the web. It is your website, not you, that the customers are seeing so you don't need to worry about your own professional appearance. It is, however, important to make sure that your site represents everything your company is about and does it in a professional, tasteful manner.
4) Several Options
There are so many different ways to market online, that it's almost inexcusable to not take advantage of the technology. With so many different online marketing techniques available, you're sure to find one that fits your needs and targets the type of customers you're looking for. From article marketing to blogging, ezines to press releases, there are several ways to get your name out there and attract consumers to your site.
5) Less Time Consuming
Because most online marketing methods are automated, it requires very little of your time and effort. After setting up an initial marketing campaign, you have the freedom to sit back, relax, and watch it all unfold. You can purchase software to automate your advertisements or outsource to a marketing company to take care of the work for you. You can set up automatic emails, website updates, podcasts and videos as well as auto-reminders to let customers know that new information is available and ready for their review.

Mountain Biking Trail Brief Around Bend Oregon

Deschutes national forest is a swarm of Ponderosa and other evergreen trees that carpet the country on the outskirts of the Cascade mountain range. Not far out of the short span of high-priced seasonal homes and lodging near the Bend, Oregon perimeter, you can find single and double tracked mountain bike and hiking trails that disappear into the lushness of forests hills. This is a little brief on some of the trails you can expect to find for biking in the park.
Deschutes National Forest Trail Runs
This forest was discovered by western civilization by French fur traders that were exploring the northwest. The name comes from the description of the river that runs through Bend today. If you would have followed the river in those days you would have come across many series of waterfall
The tumultuous river at the time cut through so much of the glacial land of central Oregon. The waterfalls along the way gave the name Riviere des Chutes, or River of Falls, hence shortened name -- Deschutes.
The city of Bend is the start of some of the trail systems. From the Deschutes River one can take quick bike run along the banks that go on for several miles. It's something pretty easy to do for most bikers in fact, some of the highly active citizens in Bend take this as a breather during a lunch break workout routine.
You can come across many trails outside of Bend near the Swampy Lakes Sno-Park area (about 16 miles out of Bend heading West on highway 46). They have many beginner to intermediate trails which cover an average of 7-9 miles with small altitude change, usually around 500 feet difference.
The Swampy Lakes Loop route 52.1 is a single track trail with manageable obstacles. You don't even have to be in great shape to take on this trail. It covers only about 4 miles and brings you through the Swampy Lakes meadow.
Swampy Ridge Loop route 52.2 on the other hand can be troublesome. It will loop you on a 9 mile course that has a pretty steep climb to get up to the ridge with a just as dramatic descent. It's about half single track and half double track. It's better for intermediate riders.
Going west on highway 46 out of Bend you can find many other trail heads. Be careful biking on these as they will often double as hiking and horse trails so, keep that in mind as you round the bend full steam.
The Biking Tourist Finding Lodging in Bend, Oregon
Bend is a happening town and every season seems to bring in every type of outdoor recreationist, latte drinking Patagonia clone from California to B.C. Make sure you get a booking in early before you go. Finding a hotel, or any other lodging in Bend, Oregon, may be tough to do last minute (some hotels are backed up 4 months deep) so use some foresight and planning.

4 Ways In Which Erection Enhancer Pills Can Get You Into Trouble

So you are dying for a penis so strong and big that it can literally lift a pail of water. You are sick and tired of a soft, weak penis that feels like a ripe banana. Man, what you want is a crunchy cucumber!
But before clicking on the buy button on the latest, greatest penis or erection enhancement pill website, consider the following 4 ways (or scenarios) in which such a pill can get you into trouble.
Scenario 1
You have a very important appointment with a big client this afternoon. But it is still some hours away and your sweetheart just called that she is off for the day and would like to meet up at her place for a good time. You take a look at your watch and decided that there is enough time for an afternoon delight.
Down at her place, both of you had a really good time. You wanted to wrap things up but there is something not quite done yet. Your previously weak member is now standing at attention again, craving for one last action. It must be those erection pills you just bought from some website last week. So you obliged and had another go. In the heat of the moment, you totally forgot the time and missed the important appointment.
Next day, your boss called you into his room and showed you the door.
Scenario 2
It is a beautiful sunny day and you had some time to spare so you headed down to the nearest public pool for a swim. You had on your favorite, super short swimming trunks and felt good. Then, from the corner of your eye, you spied a hot chick wading into the pool at the low end.
So you made a move and slowly approach her, trying to think up an ice-breaking line. Because you had some erection pills the previous night, your manhood started acting up and the tip of your penis is just starting to peak out of your tiny trunks. Not aware of this, you made your move but just as you are about to say your first word, you heard her scream at the top of her lungs. No prizes for guessing what she saw.
Next thing you know, the lifeguard is escorting you to a special room and is calling the police for an indecent exposure case.
Scenario 3
You are at the men's urinal and suddenly thought of sexy Sue, the girl you had a great time with last week. You sense your urine flow is slowing down due to a suddenly more turgid penis. Those erection pills again.
You tried to control your now excited member and but it is of no use. It is getting bigger by the seconds! Frustrated, you stopped urinating and instinctively pulled up the zipper. Ouch! Your penis is now stuck in the zipper and your screamed out in pain. The more you try to dislodge it, the more your penis get caught in it.
In the end, someone alerted security and the ambulance came soon after but the damage was already done.
Scenario 4
While you are on the road, Angela, the girl you just met last night at the pub, called. After some nice greetings, the conversation struck a sexy tone. It turned out that Angela is an expert in phone sex and love groaning into the phone with men!
Needless to say, her sexy, throaty, come-get-me voice soon had your penis fully erect, not doubt helped by those erection pills. Since you were sitting upright, it suddenly feel very uncomfortable and tight down there.
So, you took your hands off the steering wheels and tried to adjust your penis in your underwear. Without any warning, the car you have been tailgating in front suddenly jammed the brakes and wham you just hit his behind!
For this, you have to cough up 2 grand as the damage was severe.
So there you have it. Beware of how erection enhancers can wreak havoc into your daily life. Like a fire, it is a good servant but a bad master. In other words, use them wisely.
Caveat Emptor.

Get Crafty With Your Used Clothes

Do you have a closet full of used clothes? If so you are like millions of other people who have accumulated closets full of used clothing that they no longer wear and full of children's clothes with their children no longer living at home. If you love crafts, there are several ideas that you can do to use up some of your used clothe
Idea 1
Collect some of your children's used clothing to create a memorable quilt. Choose old sports t-shirts, theater t-shirts, words t-shirts, volunteer t-shirts and any other item that is important to your kids. Choose approx 12-15 shirts to design your quilt. The main fabric of the quilt will be used in between each t-shirt and on the back for support. Cut around each t-shirt so that the primary design and imagery is centered on the quilt use a variety of quilting techniques to piece the fabric and t-shirts. This is a great high school or college graduation gift.
Idea 2
Search through you used clothes to select pieces with unique pattern, textures and materials. Textures such as silk, wool and cashmere make great crafts materials. Set these materials aside to be used later in a variety of crafts and as materials for fabric samples, instead of having to go the fabric store each time you need something new to work with.
Idea 3
Take some of your favorite used clothing pieces to a local fashion student or designer. Ask them update the piece to be in fashion and let them use their creativity to design and recreate new clothing items for your old items. Also, be sure to bring a variety of clothes with you, such as jeans, shirts, skirts and pants with an assortment of colors and types of fabric. This is a great option for fashion conscious teenagers as well as you end up with several unique designs by recycling old pieces. It will be a complete surprise as to what they design specifically for you. You can also have your old and worn clothing pieces re-created by taking them to a fashion designer or materials with fabric samples to match. There is an unlimited amount of options to use when recycling your current wardrobe.
If you are looking for ideas on how to use your used clothing, review craft books for ideas and visit your local fabric stores. There are countless ideas about how you can be crafty with your unwanted clothes. If you are creative, innovative and crafty, you can create some great projects from your own closet. And, if you are not crafty on your own, you will be able to work with a professional to help you create interesting arts, crafts and fashion projects using your used clothing item
If you are not so into craft projects yourself, it can be fun for your children to do, or you can donate the clothes to a friend with an interest in crafts. If you don't know anyone, you can always sell your used clothing.

Planting A Hedge Rather Than Building A Fence

In a world of increased industrial activity and an overabundance of manufactured beauty, people are becoming more and more interested in the natural world. It is only natural then, that when considering how to divide their property from others consumers are skipping past the chain link fencing and going directly to the garden center.
The idea of using trees and shrubs as enclosures or to mark off space is not a new one. Hedges were used in 16th century Italian gardens to make avenues for travel within the garden, and hedgerows, which are simply lines of bushes or trees of the same species planted close enough for their limbs to intertwine, have been in use in England for more than seven hundred year
Hedges used as an alternative to fencing fulfill many more purposes than simply serving as a property line. They can keep wind and erosion to a minimum, cut out noise from traffic, and helps keep the neighborhood kids from running through your newly laid grass. Hedges also help to restore native plant life, which may have been dwindling because of construction and development. Also, as a natural habitat for all manner of insects, you will hear more songbirds early in the morning as they catch breakfast. Financially speaking, a hedge fence is usually less expensive than chain-link, will not rust and break, and rarely needs replacing.
If you have made the decision to use hedges as an alternative to traditional fencing, there are a few things to keep in mind before you go in search of shrubs to plant. First, confirm in your mind that you will have the time to work with the hedges after work or on the weekends. Newly planted flowers or shrubs of any kind need a lot of initial attention so that they can spread their roots and settle into their new homes. You may have to water them more often and perform a lot of routine maintenance, such as weeding out invading species and pruning those plants that are not growing well. Just remember that the time you put into your hedge fence initially will come back to you in the way of a healthy and attractive landscape down the road.
Once you are sure that you can provide the time and energy needed to establish your hedge fence, you will have to do a bit of research to determine what your native plants and shrubs are. You certainly do not want to plant any kind of shrub that will not survive the local climate. Native plants, those that are found growing wild in your area, are best to use as a foundation to your hedge fence because they have already proven themselves, they are sturdy and well-suited to the soil. Check with your local nursery to find an appropriate foundation species if you are unsure of the native plants in your area.
Finally, the time has come to plant your hedges for your fence. It is at this time that you will want to remember the advantages of the fencing you have chosen rather than the work you will have to do to put the fence together. A little bit of planning now can save a headache later. Consider the final, mature size of the shrub or hedge that you are planting, not how close you can get them right now, and plant extra shrubs or flowers along the front or in between the row of foundation hedges, not in place of them. Replacing a section of a hedge fence because of disease is one thing having to buy a hedge to replace a plant that dooes not belong in the fence to begin with is quite another. More than likely you will never have to deal with replanting or replacing once the fence is established and growing well.
Hedges serve as a wonderful alternative to traditional metal or wood fencing, because they increase the aesthetic value of your home in addition to inviting natural beauty into your neighborhood. As the world begins to slow down and realize the importance of preserving nature, hedge fences will overrun all of those old, rusty remnants of the industrial age and reveal the gentle potential of the future.

More About Bee Wax

The substance, which is secreted by the honeybees to construct their honeycombs, is nothing but the natural wax. The Beeswax is generally produced by the young worker bees. The worker bee has eight wax mirror producing glands in the body. The newly produced wax scales are colorless and glass clear. The worker bees masticate the wax making it opaque.
The new honeycomb has wax, which is nearly white but gradually turns into yellow or brown due to the addition of propolis and pollen oils. But the wax in the brood comb (a place in the hive where the queen bee lay its eggs) is darker as the impurities get easily collected in the brood comb.
The wax, which is to be used, is to be heated first in the water and is ready for use either to make candles or as a lubrication for drawers and windows. It gives wonderful results when used as wood polish.
The uses of bee wax varied and very effective and are being used since ages. Now many synthetic waxes have come up but the process of making candle was initiated with the help of the honey wax and is still used. The candles made of this material differ from those of paraffin. The flame of the candle made from this wax is warmer and more yellow than that of paraffin. The color of the flame depends on the season the wax was harvested.
The Eastern orthodox churches prefer these candles the most for they burn very cleanly, with very little smoke and with little or no drippings. These candles (Easter candle) form the integral part of prayer in the liturgy of Roman Catholic Churches. This is not all it is also used in cosmetics and pharmaceutical
It is used as polishing material like the shoe-polish. It is very commonly used during the assembly of pool tables where it is used to fill in the screws and the seams between the slate
The people, who make accordions, make use of this wax as an adhesive. It is blended with pine rosin, to attach reed plates to the structure inside an accordion. It also worked as one of the ingredients in deadlock wax and moustache wax to manufacture cylinders used by the earliest phonograph
Beeswax when used as food additives is known as E901 (glazing agent). It is used as a coating for cheese. Some have replaced it with plastic but some still use beeswax to avoid any unpleasant flavors due to plastic.
The coating of beeswax protects the food when it age
Now a days it is commercially used for skin care products, soap, the coatings of sweets and pills, batik art, furniture polish, for better quality candles and in quilting and heavy sewing. This material helps the
thread to pass through the tough material smoothly.

Mortgage Interest Rates Explained

The world of mortgages is confusing at best. There are literally thousands of mortgage companies anxious to loan you money and hundreds of terms to learn. Where do you begin, and how on earth can you compare mortgages to find out what is best for you? To begin, it is most helpful to learn the basic types of interest rates, how they work and what it means to you. Here are the most common types of interest rates explained
Fixed rates. Fixed rates are the old standby. They are what you'll find when you're investigating traditional mortgages. When your loan has a fixed rate, your interest doesn't change throughout the entire life of your loan. Most fixed rate mortgages last for 10, 15, 20 or 30 years. This is a great option when interest rates are low. If you can lock in an interest rate of 4%-8% for the life of a 30 year loan, you're doing pretty well. However if interest rates are high, you may want to look for the next type of interest rate option.
Adjustable Rate Mortgage. Otherwise known as an ARM, an adjustable rate mortgage is just that - adjustable. Usually, lenders guarantee a rate for a specific period of time, generally three, five, or seven years. However, once that time period has expired, the interest rate on the loan will change to the current going rate. Generally, there is a cap on how high the interest rate can go. This is called a ceiling, and your ceiling will be documented in your lending agreement.
For example, if the current fixed interest rate is 10% and you decide you'd rather go with an ARM, which is generally lower than the current fixed rate, then maybe you could get an ARM at 7% guaranteed for five years. Once your five years have expired, the current interest rate could be lower than your current interest rate or it could be higher. If it is up to 14% that's a huge jump and your mortgage will go up quite a bit however, if you have a 3 point ceiling agreement in your mortgage your interest rate will only go up to 10%. With an ARM, your interest rate is subject to change every year after the initial reduced rate period has expired.
Two Step mortgage. A two step mortgage works very similarly to an ARM. You will lock in an interest rate, usually a bit lower than the going interest rate, for a designated period of time. Once that time has expired, your second step is for your interest rate to jump to the going rate. It's a bit of a gamble because you don't know what the future holds. However, it does enable you to get into your home at a lower interest rate.
Balloon. With a balloon mortgage your interest rate and monthly payment remain the same for a certain number of years. At the end of that time period, your loan is due in full. If you choose this option you will have to refinance, pay off your home, or sell your home. Balloons generally run for five or seven years.
There you have it. Just about any mortgage you come across will fall into one of these discussed categories. Happy borrowing!

What are the Different Types of Home Fitness Exercise Equipment?
Some factors to consider before you buy any type of home fitness exercise equipment, is if you think you will use that piece of exercise equipment regularly. After all, there is certainly no point in spending the money on a piece of exercise equipment if you know that you probably won't be using it all that much also be clear abut what type of exercise you are interested in doing. Once you are clear about your preference out of the broad categories of weight lifting or cardiovascular, you can narrow the list down further. Some home fitness equipment that focuses on developing cardiovascular include treadmill, stationary bike, spinning bike, elliptical trainer, stair stepper and a bit of step aerobics.
You need to assess your own fitness level and your goals, and if the piece of equipment that you are about to purchase will lead to these goals. Therefore always make out a plan before you do any capital purchase, as many of these equipment can be expensive. It does not make any sense if you were to pick up a piece of equipment that cost hundreds of dollars and not use it.
Check for quality, as you do not want to spend money on anything of poor workmanship especially a piece of exercise equipment which, if not made to perfection, could cause you serious injury. Check also for the fit, especially if you are considering purchasing a piece of equipment that you have to wear. This is especially true for the tummy shakers or other similar types of machines that can come in sizes.
Lastly is price, take time to find your own best deal, because you will be the one using the equipment so you have to be comfortable in picking up the bill. Why People Are Investing In Spain

When someone speaks of Spain, most people will feel a sense of relaxation, warmth and envisage sun, sea and beautiful white sand. This is a country brightly lit with a multitude of colours, exotic dishes and a very vibrant culture. Along with the impressive history, which includes its impressive artists, churches, cathedrals and monuments, Spanish villas and properties are also thriving. Many people, mainly British, Scandinavian and German, are buying up what is available and turning them into their own home or keeping it as a healthy long-term investment plan.
Spanish villas are amongst the most popular investment, which is why they are slowly creeping up in market pricing. What is it about these villas in particular that are attracting so many potential buyers (including first-time buyers)? Not only is Spain the country that many people of various cultures choose to migrate to, but it is also an opportunity for people to make sound investment in and build upon for their own development project.
It is a renowned fact that Spain has gained its reputation for having the most reliable, affordable and safest real estate service in Europe. Spanish villas have increased in demand making it a lucrative and excellent business prospect. Most of the villas built are almost always situated near or next to local amenities, easy to reach towns, accessible public transportation and nearby areas that attract plenty of tourists (useful for people looking to make money out of their chosen villa).
There is also the added bonus of the villa being built with large bedrooms, en-suite bathrooms, new mod-con accessories for newly designed kitchens and equipped with air conditioning. The property itself is also beautifully furnished with new sofas and dining accessories. The real luxury comes from the brilliant bedroom views and easy access to the beaches. With this in mind, visitors or residence can even take a dip in the privately built swimming pool, or take a leisurely stroll along the large terrace
People looking to invest in a neat property will be rest assured that their investment will result in a tidy return, within a short period of time. As Spain is a popular holiday destination for many people, it is likely that the villa itself will be in demand for short or long-term letting. Purchasing prices can range from as little as 20 000 Euros (depending on whether there will be work needed on the building) to over a million Euros for the more serious investors. Some investors may rent out rooms just to cover the mortgage costs others prefer to make a profit on their property.
With any prospective investment, comes the necessity to do your research. Those looking to buy a property in Spain, and know very little about the area, may find it beneficial to learn more and read up about the culture, level of tourism during different seasons and calculate costs of maintenance.
It would be advisable to also gain knowledge of the local area, the average to maximum rental prices, furnishing and nearby entertainment/attractions. First time buyers very often do not know what they are spending their money on with a worrying number of people neglecting to research - you do not want to fall into that bracket.

Use Moore's Law to Get More Lead Time on Irresistible Force Changes

For the past several decades, the number of transistors on a semiconductor chip has doubled approximately every twenty-four months at a more or less constant cost for the chip. The observation of this trend, made by Gordon Moore, Intel's cofounder, is the basis of Moore's Law.

Those who are interested in exceeding future best practices for anticipating future events have often been slow to see the applicability of Moore's Law to their own situations.
They tend to act as though there will never be another improvement in semiconductors past the current one.
To help you in this regard, I propose a corollary to Moore's Law and call it The Irresistible Force Data Breakthrough Corollary The ability to process data will expand by 32 times every ten years.
Therefore, you should be collecting proprietary data now for anticipating changes in irresistible forces that it will only be practical to calculate and use years from now (perhaps as many as ten).
By taking this step, you can probably achieve a multiple-year lead on most competitors who will only begin assembling data when they can be immediately used.
An example in the development of new molecules through chemistry or biotechnology could be data to support answering questions that would require calculating tens of trillions of simultaneous equations. If that sounds far-fetched, realize that some scientific problems now require simultaneous solutions for a billion equation
In my own practice of stock-price improvement, I've built proprietary data over the last three decades that probably won't be able to be used for another five years. Those data will be like a fountain of youth that competitors cannot tap when I'm able to start using it.
I also suggest you think about ways that semiconductors can be used to gather data that would not otherwise be available. Future sensors, for instance, will be able to detect increasingly smaller shifts in irresistible force
We are already seeing this effect in the use of biochips which enable scientists to track what's happening inside a person while interacting with a new ethical drug or chemical.
Beyond that, with enough progress we can expect that you will be able to measure at some point every conceivable shift that might occur without even needing a theory about what will go one.
From such a wide database and perspective, new dimensions of understanding about irresistible forces will be possible.
What should you start measuring today that no one else is?

The New Greener Car Hire Industry

Car hire companies have often been accused of being one of the most environmentally unfriendly industries on the planet. Granted the emissions caused by the aeronautical industry are far worse but car hire companies have often been blamed for encouraging people to travel individually and neglect the use of public transport. This however is beginning to change with many car hire firms realising a potential business opportunity in providing services to eco-friendly customers.
Cleaner eco-friendly services are becoming increasing profitable as people are becoming more environmentally aware. Consumers are now wishing to do business with companies that are conscious of the effect they have on the environment. The question for the car hire industry is whether customer's environmental conscience will actually lead them to pay more for car rental.
There are a number of ways in which car hire companies are able to offset the effect they have on the environment. One of these methods is to provide customers with a fleet of hybrid vehicles available for hire. These hybrid electric vehicles run on a mixture of regular fuel types and electricity and can be seen as a happy medium for long distance travelling. For those who wish to hire this type of car for long journeys they have the added bonus of possessing lower fuel consumption level
There are also car hire companies who instead of utilising the latest hybrid technologies have opted to use bio fuels. The natural fuel is a lot like vegetable oil and reduces emissions greatly. This once again is a cheaper alternative to travellers with an environmental conscience and while at the moment these are only small schemes, as more people are realising we must do something about the environment, they are bound to become more widespread.
These types of schemes have expanded from the car hire sphere and entered the van and truck rental industry. While low emission trucks are slowly becoming available it is the purchasing of carbon credits that is acting as an incentive to eco-friendly customers. Widely known as carbon offsetting put simply it means the company put money into environmentally friendly plans for any money made. The ultimate of this is to create a company that has become carbon neutral meaning that all the emissions caused by their fleet are offset through schemes that actively reduce emissions worldwide.
It is not just through fleet changes and carbon offsetting however that car hire companies are doing their bit for the environment. Some companies have ensured their operational efficiencies are doing as little damage as possible to the environment. Schemes such as office recycling and car sharing are all a part of this and actively work to creating an environmentally friendly ethic within the industry.
The way companies are cleaning their fleets is also changing. A number of car hire companies have stopped using pesticides and toxic cleaners when washing their cars. Using natural soaps such as vinegar and baking soda are becoming an increasingly popular option. Added to this the use of recycled paper in printers and the widespread use of solar power is also hoped to become increasingly utilised.
Unfortunately using these new technologies is expensive for a car hire company which is probably why the schemes have not become widespread yet. The cost of buying and maintaining a fleet of hybrid or special fuel vehicles is more than the cost of a fleet of regular cars. Some of these costs however can be offset by government grants to environmentally conscious companies.
Although it is mostly smaller niche companies who are currently pursuing this course of action the major players in the car hire industry are becoming increasingly interested. Many have begun to add hybrid and special fuelled cars to their fleets in order to cater for the greater numbers of those requesting these services. At the moment these small changes in the make up of fleets is only a drop in the ocean.
It is however a good sign the only way in which the industry as a whole will sit up and listen to environmental concerns if more people request these services. As the world's conscience seems to be growing, the amount of these services available will undoubtedly increase.

Same Day Pay Day Loan - Fast Cash in 24 Hours

Most people are surprised at the approval speed of same day pay day loan. While earlier, it would take days for loans to be approved today you can get loans fast and without too many preconditions. Many people have faced a cash crunch when their money ran out in the middle of the month. Or they had no savings to fall back on to tide over minor cash crunches. Chances are even friends and family do not have cash to spare in the middle of the month. This is where a quick loan can help.
The logic behind same day pay day loan is easy to understand. For sudden emergencies, when you need a small amount of cash, you cannot afford to run around looking for a lender. Most lending agencies are not interested in lending small amounts of cash either. Same day pay day loan is approved within 24 hours, and you can rest assured that you will be able to tide over the financial crunch for the month.
Conditions Apply
You can apply for same day pay day loan if you fulfil certain conditions. You need to be a citizen of the United States. You have to be over the age of 18 years. Also, you need to be an employed person earning at least $1000 per month. You need to have a checking bank account. The company you are applying to will verify these particulars before advancing a loan to you.
The amount you are lent depends on factors such as your income and your ability to repay loans. Most lenders provide around $500. You can get more if your income proof and bank details show that you have a good income.
Interest Rates
The interest to be paid on quick loans varies depending on how much you borrow. You may need to pay around $15 as interest per $100 that you borrow. However, the rates depend on other factors too, such as the company policy and how fast you can repay. You should bank only with agencies that are older than 3 years, as these are more reliable.
Don't borrow from an agency on terms that are unacceptable to you, it would defeat the very purpose of the loan to bail you out of cash crunch. A loan amount on easy terms, and low interest rates would be the best for you. By choosing your same day pay day loan agency wisely, you can get over your cash shortage without getting into a debt cycle.

Email Marketing Software Empowers Businesses with eCoupons

Email marketing software has long been admired for its usefulness to assist businesses keep in touch with their customers, enhance their brand, and boost traffic to their website, store or event. However many online retailers are quickly realizing that eCoupons are the hidden gem of email marketing.
With fierce competition for the consumer's spending dollar, eCoupons allows both small and large businesses harness the power of email marketing to directly increase purchases from their online customer base.
If you visit any shopping mall you will see numerous window advertisements displaying "Inventory Clearance", "Big Sales", "Reduced Prices" and many more enticing business moves to draw in customers. The World renowned retailer, Wal-Mart, has accomplished great success with their "price rollback" marketing campaign. This time-after-time proves that, in the area of consumer psychology, people love any and all forms of discounts and every chance at a good deal. But, why should the advertisements of sales or discounts only be restricted to the offline world, when the online economy is exploding with just as many or more stores?
Many online stores have inquired about that exact question and have come to the understanding that it is completely foolish to ignore a sound marketing strategy as soon as you shift into the online business world. If special promotions can drive foot-traffic, then they can absolutely increase web traffic as well.
Large quantities of online retailers have begun using email marketing software to ease the transition into the online business world. They can start advertising online promotions that rival not only their direct competitors but also the industry leader
Since email marketing software is very simple to use and extremely affordable, it provides a level playing field between small and large online businesses. Needless to say, an online business with a marketing budget that Amazon has would vastly surpass that of the smaller online retailer. However that does nor mean smaller online businesses can't employ their own strategic promotions to compete with those of their larger counterpart
With the correct email marketing software any and all small online retailers can put forward a professionally designed email marketing campaign that is as easy as only a few clicks of the mouse and at a cost of less than a penny per target. There are no ridiculous restrictions or excessive lead times necessary as the businessperson is only limited by his or her own strategic prowes
A superb benefit of using email marketing to distribute eCoupons and to advertise other promotions is that everything is entirely measurable. After all, if you are unable to gauge the success of your efforts, then how can you determine if it was effective?
Unlike conventional paper coupons that are expensive to track, most top-notch email marketing software programs will provide for you free real-time reports on how your campaign is running. Picture being able to see, within seconds of sending your email, the number of people who have opened it or clicked on a link to redeem your coupon? With this knowledge at your fingertips, you can learn and therefore improve on your future email marketing campaigns. You will be able to determine if some eCoupons work better than others, or maybe sending your promotion at a specific time or day produces better result
One aspect is definite, in a day and age where knowledge is power, knowing what eCoupons produce the greatest ROI will let you maximize each promotional dollar you spend.
With the increased number of businesses starting to send out eCoupons and online promotions, it is increasingly important for all online businesses to start compiling their customer email databases, this way they do not fall too far behind. The quicker you employ email marketing software as an ingredient of your marketing mix, the quickest you will be able to level the playing field and see how eCoupons will benefit your online business.

Computer Hard Disk Failure - What Can I Do To Recover My Data?

It is probably the oldest story, well maybe the second oldest, but in the age of computers it is probably the oldest. For as long as there have been computers there have been computers that have failed or have broken. The story multiplied of course when we all got one and whilst the majority of the planet is happy clicking away on their mouse, the intricacies of hardware and software are still left to the elite, and those born after 1980!
Being one of the latter, I come from an age before computers at school and whilst I spend the majority of my life these days in front of my keyboard and screen, when something goes wrong I haven't a clue.
To rectify this situation I decided to research the subject and come up with some answers to the questions that we ask ourselves repeatedly as we bounce round the room, kicking ourselves that we did not back up our data on a more regular basis. because backing up your data is the best solution for computer failure whatever the cause. But I am guessing that if you are reading this article then that option will be remembered for next time and what you are really looking for are the alternative answers now.
Let's assume then that your computer has failed. Let's also assume that you last did a back up of data long enough ago for it not to be relevant and this article maybe your best last hope. Before we examine the possibilities let me just reassure you. There is a very good chance that your data can be recovered. Please read on.
The first consideration maybe the age of your computer and the way that your hard drive is configured. This is not something you may know but as part of my reassurance let me explain a little about something call RAID. You may have seen it mentioned when you bought your computer.
RAID stands for Redundant Arrays of Inexpensive Disks. It is a technology that it used to support two or more disks on your computer to enhance performance and storage of data. By splitting your hard drive into two or more sections allows it to use different disks for different tasks. Now if you have bought a Dell recently you may remember when you were clicking through the options that their was an option screen allowing you to choose to split your hard drive. If you chose this option and you have two drives, it is quite possible that most of your data is on one drive whilst your operating system, Vista, XP etc. will be installed on the other. This scenario makes recovery much easier. Even if you have just one drive all is not lost.
Data Recovery, its ease and the cost of recovery will depend on the type of computer failure you have experienced.
Failure can be caused by several things but these are the main ones
Firmware failure This is a failure of the software embedded on your hard drive
Electronic failure Lightening strike, power surge are all reasons for electronic failure. Like the back up, you always meant to get that surge protector! Electronic failure usually causes a failure in the controller board so that your data is not lost but cannot be found by your operating software.
Mechanical failure Your hard drive has moving parts that break from time to time. In the words of 'Armageddon' 'It's not if it is going to happen, but when is it going to happen'
Logic Errors These are a software failure and can usually be rectified by a system restore . Use caution though, as until you know the type of failure you have experienced your actions could in fact make the problem worse and hinder the recovery of important data.
So now you know the possible causes of your failure the next thing is to identify which has befallen you. If you are a complete novice your next step is to get some expert help. Differential analysis of your problem should be left to some-one who knows how to identify your problem without making it worse. You should be able to find advice for free and depending on the importance of your data and the cost of recovery you can make an informed choice as to how to proceed.
Next time you will remember to back up and get that surge protector..I know because I have been there. Good Luck!

Harnessing Energy From Wind

Though it is much at lesser cost to just subscribe from local electric company for your electrical consumption than to have a wind turbine set-up, you will realize that having a wind energy-generating system of your own is the most viable avenue to save costs in the long run, utilizing the wind as your energy source. Of course, not receiving an electrical bill from energy company is really a free-from anxiousness feeling.
With the continued rise of fuel and cost of electricity payment, it is quite practical to look for a more viable alternative source of energy. In that case, wind is one of the most viable sources of energy which we can harness. We can utilize it with zero payment since it absolutely free and renewable energy. All you need to do it to find way for it set-up cost.
The efficiency and of its being less expensive source of energy has been proven to be effective in some countries, particularly in countries where strong wind is available. This has replaced the traditional usage of fuel specifically using the 'fossil fuel'. In addition, this alternative source has effectively lessen the cost for energy consumption of some com tries and have those allocated to their other economic program instead.
Some federal lawmakers are pushing to get the federal government to mandate these tax breaks and other wind power incentives in all 50 states. Japan and Germany already have national incentive programs in place. However, "A lot of this is handled regionally by state law."
Another good thing that wind-energy usage brings is that it is an effective practice to lessen pollution. As we all know pollution is also a global concern and some energy-processing system cause environment deterioration. However, the usage of wind energy causes otherwise.
It is important however to realize things that are in need to be done before establishing your own wind energy-generating system. You need to familiarize some things like wind power kit alternators the advantages and disadvantages of wind power wind energy graphs, etc.
The global community is facing energy crisis nowadays and that is an ironic phenomenon since the planet is gifted with a lot of energy sources that we, human being, can utilize in a long run. And the good thing of these energy sources is that they are renewable sources. The energy shortage is caused not of lack of energy source but the will to harness these abundant energy sources- wind is one good example of currently less-harnessed energy.

Real Estate Foreclosures in Houston Texas

In Houston, Texas, banks or lenders have a legal right to foreclose on a home if the owner has missed mortgage payments.
By doing so, they will regain the money that is owed to them by selling the property. In extreme foreclosure cases, the property may not be worth enough to completely cover one's debt to the lender. In this case, not only will their property be taken away from them but they will also have the outstanding balance due to the lender.
In Houston there are two types of foreclosures that will ensue, should the lender decide to go through with proceedings. The first type is a "deed in lieu of foreclosure" to pay for the missed mortgage payments. This type of foreclosure will be agreed upon in a contract between the homeowner and the lender.
The more common type of foreclosure is when the property goes to auction that is overseen by a court officer. This type of foreclosure will allow the homeowner to keep any equity that they have built in the home.
Because a foreclosure on a house or other piece of property reflects so negatively on a person's credit report, it is important that homeowners avoid foreclosure. Houston banks and lending companies will send notices to the homeowner once a mortgage payment has been missed. Once a notice is received, it is important that the homeowner contact the lender to arrange for payment to be made.
Houston lenders can be very understanding and will often review the homeowner's financial situation before making any drastic decisions. Lenders don't usually want to foreclose either as it means the added cost and time of selling the home themselves. Therefore, the homeowner and the lender should work together to devise a plan that does not include foreclosure.
A Partial Claim is an option that will give the homeowner an interest-free loan. This loan will be used to cover the mortgage payments and the lender will often work for the homeowner in helping them get this loan.
To qualify, the homeowner must have missed at least four mortgage payments, but not exceeded twelve missed payments. The loan needs to be obtained before the home is in foreclosure status and the homeowner needs to be able to begin making payments in full immediately.
Special Forbearance is a process in which the lender and homeowner will meet and attempt to make an arrangement that is suitable to both of them for repaying the loan. The lending company is often the main force in these discussions and the options available will greatly depend on them.
Bankruptcy is a common alternative to foreclosure. Although bankruptcy does show as a large negative on a credit report, it is better than foreclosure. Because this is such a drastic step, homeowners need to speak to a lawyer before they make the final decision.
Many homeowners also choose to sell the property on their own if their home is nearing, or already in, foreclosure. There are many different aspects of selling a home when it is near foreclosure and so it's important to hire a real estate agent that has experience dealing with these types of sale
Of course, the easiest way to avoid foreclosure on a property is to never be placed into that position to begin with. Unforeseen expenses may pop up from time to time but it is the homeowner's responsibility to contact the lender to make them aware of the situation and to work with them to devise a payment arrangement.

Eco-friendly Fuel Source- Wood Pellets

With issues like global warming plaguing the world these days, environmentalists are waking up to the use of more environment friendly sources of fuel. One such revolutionary fuel source to be discovered is wood pellets. Here we discuss how these seemingly small sources of energy can actually save the environment!
Carbon neutral source
The way wood pellets work is that they release exactly the same amount of carbon dioxide as what the growing plant would have used. So that means whatever amount of carbon dioxide gets consumed by the growing plant ultimately gets released into the atmosphere when the wood gets burned. This is why this is a very balanced and eco-friendly energy source. There is no excess amount of carbon dioxide that gets emitted while burning this energy source.
Even more carbon savings
As compared to other alternative environment friendly sources of energy such as solar energy and wind power it is the wood pellets which save up the maximum amount of carbon dioxide emissions. Another attraction for this energy source is that one can extract a lot more from a single tree than is possible with other sources. For example as little as 30% of a single tree is used in making wood pellets. The remaining portion is used in making and cutting up wooden planks. From just this 30% of the tree one can manufacture 3 tonnes quantity of wood pellets. These can be sufficient to warm 200 homes for a duration of around a week! That is a lot of energy coming from a single tree!
How it gets made
The wood pellets are made by breaking the wood into sawdust and then drying it up. This sawdust is then forced through die to compress into wood pellets. These pellets then get cooled and then stored in special containers. However the process can be tedious and painstaking as just one single particle of wood will take around 2 hours to get transformed into a pellet. However, every amount of time taken will be worth the effort as this environment friendly source of energy is here to stay and is particularly useful in saving the environment.
Planting new trees
The good thing about wood pellets is that they can always be manufactured as trees can be planted anytime. This is unlike other alternative energy sources like solar energy and wind power which depend on the elements of nature. The wood boilers are also considered to be much cheaper in cost as compared to other eco-friendly sources like wind power. For example wind turbines have been found to be much more expensive than the boilers used for heating wood pellet
Using up forestry waste
Wood pellets can be very useful in eliminating landfills. There are plenty of forests all across the world and the wasted wood from these can be put to very good use. If such wood is left standing then it can result in the production of methane gas which again damages the environment. Instead if it gets used in the manufacture of wood pellets then we can see some significant advantages. It is in essence almost like recycling waste.

How to Choose the Right Search Engine Optimisation Company

As part of a comprehensive Internet marketing strategy, a company providing Search Engine Optimisation can be an important advantage. These companies are expert in improving your search engine positions, consistently supervising those positions and fine-tuning their approach should they have month with unfavourable outcome
Search Engine Optimisation Companies invest a vast amount of time and energy and employ specialized knowledge, so it may be of more benefit to outsource their skills than attempt to sustain elevated search engine positions independently.
In business there are great companies and then there are also the rotten apples!
In order to select an inexpensive, efficient search engine optimisation company, it is important to be aware of the correct questions to pose and to know what decisive factors to look for.
Whilst reviewing your options of search engine optimisation companies, start by taking into consideration how they intend to elevate your search engine statu
Companies making use of cloaked, doorway or bridge pages to improve your position should be crossed off your list. Methods such as these contravene almost all search engine policies and at the least your website will be harshly castigated, and even worse, it may be completely removed from the index of the search engine.
A page, which is cloaked, is designed not to be seen by the website's frequent visitors - it is invisible. A cloaked page is specifically coded for identifying a search engine spider and redirecting them to this particular page, which is created to enhance your search engine rating falsely.
A similar concept is made use of for doorway or bridge pages, although these are frequently located on an alternate server. Should they become aware of the fact that your website contains cloaked pages, Google - one of the Internet's principal and significant search engines, will eliminate your website from their index.
Don't ever contract any business to companies that use this modus operandi!
An additional vital consideration is to ensure that there is no conflict of interest with the company you contract, in them working for your competition whilst they are in your employ. Guarantee this in a written document and make certain that it is legally binding. One can understand that a conflict of interest could critically compromise the success of a search engine optimisation strategy. It is important to keep in mind that there are those companies that will market their services to other players in your field based on their success with your website.
A company's history of results is a crucial feature you may wish to follow up on. But don't take their word for it!
Their results may be embellished so as to contract your business. Dig a little deeper into their assertion of success by posing a couple of relevant questions and confirming their response
Possible questions to pose
1. Enquire as to which engines they have realized their top results on. You would want to see the best results on the most popular engines. Search engine popularity can alter as the whole Internet changes, so go to the Nielsen Netratings page for a Search Engine Watch. This can be viewed at ttp//ww.searchenginewatch.com/article.php/2156451.
2. Uncover their keywords and phrases which they maintain are receiving excellent results. Unpopular words are likely to produce high rankings. As an example, few people will search for the keyword "cat leashes" which will result in a high popularity ranking. Ideally you want excellent results with popular keywords. Have a look at ww.wordtracker.com, for Wordtracker software. Subscriptions are available from 1 day through to a year, or else make use of their free trial. The Wordtracker software measures how popular certain keywords and phrases are by making use of authentic search engine statistic
3. Check out a site that the company declares to have had success with, keeping an eye open for good results. What you want to find for the whole site is a variety of different ratings on a good number of separate search engines making use of different keywords and phrases. You are entitled to ask for a report on clients the company asserts it has done well for. The report should reflect good ratings on a lot of the more popular search engines for a multiplicity of different, popular phrases and keyword
4. Ensure the search engine optimisation company you are investigating has in fact completed the work they allege to have done. There are companies who are eager to contract your business and use other company's successes as their own. It is best to contact the business they are claiming the results for, and enquire as to who their search engine optimisation company is. The recipe for a successful search engine optimisation drive is to have the maximum exposure over a broad assortment of popular search engines by making use of a diversity of phrases and keywords. It's a great marketing tool to support success!
5. Remember to ask your potential search engine optimisation company to provide you with a report that illustrates rankings across many popular search engines for a time frame of a minimum of 6 months. It is important to contract a company that recognizes that search engine marketing is a continuous practice and which also continually monitors your search engine ratings. Should your search engine ratings drop, that company must also modify its tactics to maintain high ranking
6. Another report you may feel is of benefit to request is a sample monthly report which demonstrates the constant examination of the positions. It is imperative that the rankings are extracted from the more popular search engines. It is relatively effortless to obtain fabulous results for a small amount of minor search engines - these are not impressive results. Also ensure that the results they present are actually for the current popular search engines as well as configured for straightforward comprehension. For instance, it is possible to be presented as a chart over a time period of a minimum of 6 months showing either the following data
- A monthly analysis of the top 50 positions.
- Each month's top 5 page
Determine whether this potential company keeps monthly tabs on these positions or pages, as well as whether this sample report incorporates findings and suggestions for the particular site. By following up on these factors, it makes certain that the company will not only gather your statistical positions but also vigorously monitor and amend their strategie
You don't simply need a company that collects information for you. What you require is a company that is a key contributor to your search engine marketing campaign.
Financial constraints may impact on your particular choice of company, however a search engine optimisation company is essential to a successful marketing campaign. It plays a vital role and is simply not a 'nice to have'.
It is in your best interests to employ a company that will do a scrupulous and consistent job for your website and may suit you to rather pay more for an impeccable job. The alternative is to source a relatively new company. They are generally capable of providing quality and dependable work. Keep in mind that you are risking the money in your pocket on a company without a reliable history!
Before going that route, ask the com

Immigration Law Office - What Does It Do?

If you have having legal problems and hope to attain immigrant status in the United States, you should seek the services of an immigration law office. The lawyers in these offices have the knowledge and skills to handle cases that deal specifically with immigration regulations.
People want to immigrate to other countries for a wide variety of reasons. The most common are to obtain legal permanent residency or to find work in that country. When you become a legal permanent resident, you are granted a license to stay in the U.S. on a permanent basis, free to live and work as you desire. Getting a license means doing a lot of legal work, however, and an immigration law office is just the place to turn to for help.
To obtain a permanent residency, you should consult with attorneys that specialize in immigration law. They have training in how to handle cases that involve the laws regulating immigration. The best source of information and guidance in getting permanent residency status is the immigration law office. You can ask for advice about eligibility requirements and other rules and regulations governing the application for permanent residence. After receiving advice from the law office, you will know what route to take to get where you want to go in terms of residency.
The immigration law office will inform you about four basic immigration options that are available to applicants for U.S. visas. These include immigration through employment, through a family member, permanent resident status as a refugee or someone seeking asylum, and immigration through a diversity lottery. Each method has benefits and disadvantages, depending on your unique circumstances. The lawyer you consult at the immigration law office will assess your qualification before offering any advice regarding your options.
You can get citizenship to the U.S. by either your birth or the naturalization process. The immigration law office will inform you of the benefits to be obtained by becoming a citizen. These include higher exemptions in estate taxes, federal job benefits, more freedom to travel to other countries, and the all-important right to vote. Your immigration lawyer will also inform you about the federal grants and scholarships that are available only to U.S. citizens.
The law office can help with the preparation and filing of your application for citizenship as well. You must comply with a number of regulations, and the law office attorney can also tell you if you have any particular issues that should be addressed. If there are problems that threaten your citizenship application, the attorney will discuss them with you and suggest ways to resolve them.

Divorced Dads Tips: What to do When Mom Claims Visitation / Access Disrupts the Kids Routines

DISCLAIMER The following is NOT legal advice, nor is it a substitute for legal advice. If you are in Family Court you will need legal advice, so please see a lawyer.
Sometimes the issue of transporting the children during access / visitation times becomes extremely contentious. On a recent teleseminar, Heidi Nabert, President of The National Shared Parenting Association and I were asked the following
I am wondering about driving issues. My ex just moved from nearby to faraway and generally I see the kids every Wednesday night, take them swimming or skating. It is going to be a lot more difficult. We just keep on arguing against the Wednesday night claiming that it is disruptive and they need to get to bed on time and now she has moved another 15 minutes further from where I live so it makes it all that more difficult. We are about 1/2 hour apart what should I do?
This divorced dad has the kids every other weekend, Friday after school to Monday morning at school and sees them on Wednesday evening per the current court order.
Mom is complaining that all this driving is disruptive to the kids who are 4 and 7 years old. There have never been any complaints from daycare or teachers about the driving and activities such as swimming and skating being disruptive that the kids get all wound up. Then they are hard to put to bed. Then the next day at school is rough, according to Mom, but not substantiated by anyone else.
How would activities the children enjoy be disruptive? This is of benefit to the kids. Really the issues are the kids don't get to bed on time because they are excited.
Perhaps, as a suggestion, the solution is this dad should have them kids overnight on the weeknight. That would be less disruptive.
Sometimes when you focus on a sole issue like that, when you cannot get to an agreement and you take on that particular sole issue, very often it will come back as a bunch of nonsense from the other side. The response has to be, "Well, Your Honor, if any of that was even serious in the first place, why was it not brought up?
The only real issue here is that she is saying it is disruptive. They do not get to bed on time. Certainly, if they remain with me they would get to bed on time. Here is all the benefit they have up to now. They are a little bit older. It is a material change of circumstances. It is only one night."
That's an example of the slice theory at work. We are minimizing disruption through integration. Demonstrate benefits to the children and ask why putting the kids to bed at your home won't solve the problem.
And stick to that point make them prove that it cannot work. It's unlikely they can't, and really what we are talking about here is 8-10 hours of sleeping time.
That's what Mom is really fighting over, and that's the best way to characterize it. That it is not about disruption, its really about a misplaced sense of a loss of power and control perfectly understandable, but not necessarily reasonable or best for the kids who also have a strong bond with their father.
Obviously the children are excited and having a GREAT time. So the best place for the wind down from that is with their father who was part of that fun, rather than expecting kids to shift gears the moment they get back to Mom'
That's a better and more accurate reframing of the facts, evidence and argument from my perspective having been one of those kids myself, and having been a both a custodial and non-custodial parent.
Always try to find the high ground and be solution focused. Don't try to blame mom, or claim that you are better than her. Simply assert that you are as essential to the children's happiness, well-being and development as Mom, but in different way
You both bring important things into the lives of your children. Celebrate those differences and look for the strengths and what they provide for your children.
If you focus on that approach, you then are the solution focused peacemaker. And that is a VERY good position to be in when you are in front of a Family Court Judge seeking an order that best meets your children's needs.

The Perfect Solution For Storing Wood Pellets

Most homes across the world have started using wood pellets on a daily basis for their fuel needs. This has necessitated a need for a bulk storage system that can effectively store all the pellets in large quantitie
Why store in bulk?
The cost of wood pellets can work out to be quite expensive if you buy them in small quantities. Instead buying in bulk can save you a lot of money. The overall costs when you buy in large quantities go down substantially. Plus there is always the added bonus of having a ready supply of wood pellets whenever you need them! This is why when you buy in bulk quantities you need a large scale storage system too.
Pellet boilers
Some of the most popular storage systems today are the hand fed boilers. These can accommodate as much as 3 tonnes of wood pellets in a single filling. That is what bulk storage capacity is all about. On top of the hand fed boilers you could install a pellet store which has the ability to collect the wood pellets brought in by the tanker. You can construct the pellet store outside your home or inside. If you are keeping the pellet store outside then make sure there is a tube or a feeding system that will transport the wood pellets into the boiler.
Pellets stoves
The pellets stoves are yet another convenient method of storing large quantities of wood pellets. These stoves will not only store the pellets but also burn them in order to provide heat and warmth for your home. One advantage of pellets stoves instead of the wood stoves is their efficiency. They produce no smoke and you do not need a chimney added because the exhaust rarely gets too hot. Installation is also very easy with these pellets stoves. You can place it inside the roof or outwards from a wall as well. You could also have separate pellets stoves placed over legs at a corner or place it within chimney inserts. These stoves are perfect for modernized cities and urban areas as they emanate very little smoke or exhaust. The only possible drawback of these pellets stoves is that they need electricity to function. So if the power is out then these will stop working. However you can always have a backup solution like batteries or generator.
Other solutions
Another probable solution for bulk storage of wood pellets is the usage of bolted silos. This can also be combined with a driveway for the tanker to come and deliver the wood pellets. You could also employ the usage of flat storage mechanisms or even reclaimers which facilitate ease of transportation and use. If you are planning on storage relatively smaller portions of wood pellets then a small bin can be used which is welded at the sides. Otherwise you can use the bolted version if you are planning on large scale storage. You need to reload the pellet storage system just once every day. This is much less of an effort as compared with other mechanisms like solid fuel mechanisms which not only need daily cleaning but also refilling.

Kite Flying And The Art of Stress Reduction

In today's over-complicated, over technical world, we tend to forget about the simple pleasures in life like kite flying as we tap away at our keyboards, rushing to meet the next deadline. The non-stop stress and fast paced lifestyle that most Americans are leading is literally aging us before our time! Researchers at the University of California in San Francisco found a direct link between stress and premature aging. Chronic stress actually shrivels the bundles of genes inside the cells, cutting their lifespan short.
No matter how busy we are, if we want to live a more well-balanced, healthier, happier life, we've got to find ways to de-stress. Surprisingly, kite flying has been shown to be one of the best ways to relieve the pressures of a stressful life. Being outdoors in nature while letting your kite become swept away in the breezes along with your anxieties, can be an incredibly relaxing and empowering experience.
An Inexpensive and Relaxing Hobby
Most experts on stress will recommend engaging in a hobby as a way to distress. However, some hobbies require hundreds or even thousands of dollars worth of gear and equipment to start. To take up kite flying, all you need is to buy a kite from a kite store online or in your local area - that's it! A Single line kite can be as inexpensive as 25 dollars while more complicated sport kite and power kite designs often come with a higher price tag.
Kite Flying Skills Don't Take Years to Develop
Choosing a hobby that requires a great deal of learning can add even more stress to your life! Unlike some hobbies that require you to spend countless hours practicing and perfecting, flying a kite is something that just about everyone can pick up quickly.
If you're a beginner, you'll probably want to start with a single line kite and then, if you chose, graduate to more complex kites like the power kite or sport kite sometime in the future. The single line kite is the type of kite that most people are familiar with and also the easiest to fly. Even young children can manage to easily get a single line kite off the ground and into the air with ease.
A Hobby the Entire Family Can Enjoy
One of the most troubling problems that has surfaced as a result of our over-hectic lives, is that families are spending less time together. Unlike many hobbies and methods of relaxation, kite flying is something that the whole family can do together. Single line kite models are easy enough for kids to fly and come in stunning and enchanting designs that capture a child's imagination. There are plenty of colorful single line kite designs made especially for kids such as pirate ships, octopi, butterflies, and tropical fish.
When each member of the family has their own single line kite to fly, it gives you the chance to be together, yet peacefully focused on the movements of your own kite. As your family comes to adopt kite flying as a regular activity, you can graduate together from the single line kite to the more intricate power kite and sport kite for even more excitement. This is a wonderful way for a family to learn and grow together while taking the time to relax and enjoy life.

But with the kind of lifestyle that most people around the globe live in today a lot of individuals have smoldered and sluggish skin. As such is the case, our skin is vastly affected as it absorbs all the harmful toxins that we get from being exposed to all the harmful elements that we meet in our day to day activities. There is the polluted air, the dust and dirt that sticks to our skin and makes us all prickly and itchy all over.
For the skin to let go of all the toxins that have nothing to do but move around bumping from cell to cell inside our body systems, we need to sweat it out. However in this high tech digital world, only a few individuals have enough time to hit the gym and exercise as more and more people get stuck staring at the monitors of their computers minute by the minute, hour by the hour. Some even just take a break either to eat, sleep or go to the bathroom.
Also, the skin needs to breathe. But with all the oils, lotions, creams, gels and even soap that we use, the pores can be blocked and jammed. Excessive sun exposure, tight clothing and clothes made up of synthetic fibers can also prevent our skin from breathing.
As exercise is less preferred by most people, the solution to this dilemma is the sauna. With the use of the sauna, there is no need to pump up and exert effort to sweat. You only need to get yourself in a hot room and relax while the sauna does its wonders to your skin and to your health.
As you go in the sauna and feel relax and soothed, your body relaxes. Your tired, stressed out and jittery muscles loosen up as they somewhat get a massage from the humidity and the heat of a sauna. The sauna is even said to help alleviate pain from arthritis. And as your body unwinds, your mind also calms down as well. Mentally, you can let go of all the stress and the pressure that you have jumbled up inside of you.
As the sauna is hot, hot, hot you are bound to sweat in it. Sweating is cleansing. Thus, your body gets to release all those pent up toxins inside. As the toxins go away, your skin gets subtle and healthy. And do not think that sweating inside a sauna does not equate to sweating while you exercise, it does. You can prove this by checking out your weight every time you finish your regular sauna session. The more you sweat the more weight you are going to lose. Yes, you too can burn calories by simply sitting in a heated room. Seeing that you have liberated yourself from no good toxins and unwanted calories, there is but another great benefit that a sauna offers and that is better blood circulation.

Time Management and Your Affiliate Marketing Business

Without the proper time management skills, you can sit at your desk in your home office for hours without getting any work done. To juggle home, career and family, you should take the time to look over your days and create a specific time to do your various errand
Some people can sit at a computer or desk for hours at a time but others can only do it in short blocks. Regardless of where you fit into this, you should set aside two to three hours of your time, to sit down and work. Even if you can do more than this, you should avoid it because eventually your mind will not concentrate fully on the work that you are supposed to be doing. Take some time away from working so that you can go back later and start with a fresh mind.
When you wake up, take the time to grab a shower and get something to eat. Try to wake yourself up so that you are fully awake and energized and ready to work. Feeling sluggish and bleary eyed can slow down your work progress and it can make your mind wonder off of the work that you should be doing. Feeling tired can cause you to push things aside and procrastinate because you have no energy.
Bad Habits and Time Killers
A great way to waste time is to check your email every other minute. If your business is booming, you may get a lot of emails, but unless they are time sensitive, your emails can usually wait until you can put aside your work and free up some time.
If you need to intercept all emails because you receive emails for the customer service aspect of your home business, you can always try downloadable computer programs that will alert you whenever you have received an email.
This way you will only check when you are certain that there is an email waiting for you. As a plus, many of these applications will show a small window to let you know who the email is from and will provide sufficient information that will let you know if it is an email that can be checked immediately, or if you can wait until later.
Another great time waster is instant messengers. Like email, people will kill time and put aside work to chat with friends and family during what should be their work hours. Funny emails, videos, links and chain letters can wait until you have a free moment for yourself.
Remember that this is your business and when you are playing, you're obviously not working. Even in a home business, time is money and when you waste it, you're getting paid less.

Earn Money Online With Blogs

Blogging has been around for several years now, and is more than a fad. Its not only the realm of pimply faced teenagers and internet addicts. If you seriously want to earn money online, you need to be blogging. Blog is the abbreviated version of "web log". They were originally used as a type of online diary for people who wanted to record their thoughts for posterity sake, and share information with friends and the world in general.
Blogs are still used in that way but many in the business community see blogs as a way of developing true "content oriented" websites. These websites not only help the business earn money online, but also provide true content and value for people reading them. The other major reason blogs have become popular with businesses of all kinds, is that they are free. Google's "blogger" site is free for anyone with a Google account. They provide what amounts to unlimited storage space for all your thoughts, as well as a place to advertise without any cost. Savvy internet marketers earn money online by getting as many hits on their sites as possible.
Blogger blogs are indexed in search engines very quickly compared to standard page sites. The rapid indexing allows you to show up in search engine results pages (serps) far quicker than the standard method of search engine submission. Many blogger blogs are indexed within a few days. I have actually seen some indexed with a few hours and the faster your site shows up in the SERPS the faster you can start to earn money online. Search engines love text.
Pretty pictures and graphics are great, but the search engine spiders read text, they live for text. To the crawlers text is everything, and text is something blogs provide in abundance. Pumping up your visability in the search engine rankings gets you more hits, and blogs have plenty of "just plain words" for the search engines to read.
You can run a blog alone, or as a supplement to your existing website. many successful entrepreneurs earn money online with just a blog that promotes affiliate programs, or Google adsense or other chosen income streams. But the really savvy business owner uses the blog for keyword marketing, and to drive traffic to sales pages, or squeeze pages (more about that in another article). The words in the blog give your overall site higher visability.
You can use blogs as one accountant I know does and keep your customers and clients informed of accounting strategies, which in turn keeps them reading the blog, and keeps them linking to his sales page where he also provides other services like tax prep, bookkeeping & credit repair. You can use a blog to organize your own thoughts in a format that is accessible to you anywhere in the world. If your planning to earn money online, then you need to keep track of your business objective
A blog is the perfect format for this. You expand your business plan, something you need to do anyway, and it is accessible so that they can read about your business also. The more information you provide, the more visible your site becomes. Its like automatic advertising in a format that search engines love.
Blogging platforms are generally free. Google's Blogger is hosted on their servers, so you dont even need a hosting account yet. But you may want to get one. If you have your own domain, your blogger blog can be hosted on your account also. It gives you a little more control. If you want even more control over your blog, try using WordPress. Its a free blogging platform that you can host on your account, and you get all the code so its completely configurable. Go to google and use a search query like "powered by wordpress" and you can take a look at hundreds of WordPress blogs to see how they can be configured.
Now you have a brief introduction to blogging. This is an extremely powerful communication and marketing tool. Use it to your advantage and soon you will start to earn money online like hundreds of other blog marketers.

Tourists Fall But Hotel Business Still Booming on Tenerife

Despite a report from the Gran Canaria Tourist Board that notes a slight decrease in tourism numbers in the Canaries in 2007, the industry is optimistic. So optimistic in fact, that Tenerife continues to grant building permits to developers of new hotels in anticipation of 2008 tourism dollars. One of the latest additions is the Dutch-owned Luz del Mar hotel.
Residents and business owners in the Los Silos area of Tenerife are hopeful that the small hotel will stimulate travel in the northern part of Tenerife.
Historically, the southern coast of the island receives more visitors, and hence more tourism dollars, than the north coast. This trend has shifted though, at least somewhat, in the last decade. More investors are recognizing the potential for growth on the north coast. Los Silos in particular, though small in resident population (6000 or less) is rich with history and lush with verdant greenery. Large parts of this region lie within officially protected area
Of particular interest in this northern region of Tenerife is the Parque Rural de Teno (Teno Rural Park). This park is part of the protected area of Los Silos and surrounding regions. Much of it is inaccessible due to its extraordinary mountainous terrain. Its natural beauty is breathtaking.
The park is an ecological gem, since it is home to one of the few Laurisilva forests in the world. Many of its plant and animal species are endemic to the Canaries and this area specifically. The park is also home to the famous Gigantes Cliffs, sheer rock faces that plunge straight down for 600 meters into the sea below. The ocean around the cliffs attracts divers from all over the world. Like Teno Rural Park, the sea is also rich with plant and animal life. The cliffs themselves may be seen from a panoramic viewpoint within the park. Or, tourists can charter a boat that will take them directly to the cliffs via a small ocean bay for an up-close look.
Teno Rural Park may be one of Tenerife's most well-kept secrets. Its very vastness limits development in the north of Tenerife to a few restricted areas. Perhaps this is one reason that Los Silos and other northern municipalities have not enjoyed the same kinds of tourist numbers that the southern coast has seen.
This appears to be changing somewhat though, particularly with the arrival of new hotels, such as the Luz del Mar. Hotels and hostels on the northern coast tend to be smaller, and perhaps slightly more eclectic, than their massive counterparts in the south. This is in good keeping with local desire to benefit from Tenerife's tourism industry without jeopardizing the ecology that drives that industry.
Los Silos and the surrounding areas hope to retain some small-town flavor while still enjoying a share of the tourism pie. As the saying goes, you can't have your cake and eat it too.
However, northern Tenerife may be doing just that. By limiting development to municipal areas and leaving natural areas like Teno Rural undisturbed, it may be securing its future both as a tourist destination and a conservatory alike.

4 Simple Steps to Set Your 2008 Intentions

At the beginning of the year, you may find yourself stuck between celebrating the success of last year, planning for the New Year and perhaps overwhelmed by everything you have on your full plate. You're not alone. Most conscious entrepreneurs go through this type of celebration, anticipation and yes, sometimes even overwhelm. That being said, the beginning of a new year is the perfect time to take some time to get laser-focused on what you want to experience and manifest this year.
For the past 5 years, my husband and I have always spent New Year's Day clarifying and writing our intentions for the New Year. This ritual is a highlight of the year and one that continues to catapult growth on all levels, and help me fully prepare for the year... mentally, emotionally, practically and spiritually.
You've probably heard that the most powerful thing you can do to manifest your goals is to write them down! There is something about putting your goals in writing that begins to align the Universe to help you realize them (or something better).
The following four step process is one of my personal New Year strategies. I hope you'll print this out and get started with your intentions today!
Step 1 Complete
The first step to setting clear intentions for the New Year is to feel complete with the events and experiences of the last year. To do this, simply reflect on the past year... beginning back in January. In your mind, run through the year noting the accomplishments, challenges, successes, growth, opportunities and gifts that you experienced. Once you've taken time to reflect on the past year, allow yourself to release anything that you may be hanging on to. Take several deep relaxing breaths as you envision completing the year and become fully present to this moment and all the potential that lies ahead for this year.
Step 2 Celebrate
Next, take out a pen and paper and write a list of everything you have to celebrate from the past year. Focus on all areas of your life, including spiritual (connection to God, meditation, spiritual practice, spiritual community, trust in Divine plan, etc.), personal (health, relationships, fulfillment, family, friends, community, love, etc.), financial (overall financial health, income, debt reduction, investments, money management, etc.), business (new strategies, marketing programs, joint ventures, products and services, client successes, gross income, profitability, support, etc.). Take time to complete your list thoroughly and review it to fully embrace your success and evolution this past year.
Step 3 Focus
Once you finish completing and celebrating, now become focused on all that you want to manifest this year. Simply create the picture of this coming year in your mind's eye, getting a clear vision of what you intend to manifest and experience (don't write anything down, yet... just envision it in your mind and feel it in your heart). Again, as you did in Step 2 "Celebrate", be sure to include the areas of spiritual, personal, financial and business.
Step 4 Commit
The last step is to commit your intentions for the year by putting them in writing. This is the most powerful step of the journey it's the beginning of taking the vision in your mind and bringing it into reality. There are two different methods I recommend for writing down your intentions for the year, choose the one that feels like the right fit for you 1) write a description of your year from the standpoint of January 1, 2009 including all the details of what has transpired during this year... be grateful in advance! 2) Write a bullet point-list of your intentions for the year in each of these 4 areas (spiritual, personal, financial and business). You can write your list on index cards putting one area of your life on a different card.
Once you complete this four step process (hopefully you've also listened to the guided meditation on this process), there is one last BONUS step to include with all of your writings. And, that is to write "this or something better" at the bottom of the paper. Because, as expansive as your intentions and vision for this year are, God/The Universe sees so much more for you. There are gifts waiting for you that you cannot begin to imagine. So, enjoy being clear and energized about this incredible year knowing that you also leave space for miracles to occur.

On Line Games Review - Fruit Frenzy from uVme

If you play any of the online games found at Uvme.com, you may have noticed Fruit Frenzy is still the popular favorite. Deceptively simple, this game is colorful, cheerful, but challenging all at the same time. Learning how to make the most of your time can help increase your score and allow you to reach the next level. This means being able to complete rows of three, four and even five without hesitation in order to keep that blender working.
One of the easiest strategies to use is to stay low on the board. Searching for rows to complete can take up too much time. But if you keep your eye on the bottom two rows, you will be able to spot rows that are in need of an extra pineapple or grape. As you complete these rows, the fruit from the upper rows will drop, which will unfreeze some of the fruit as well as any frozen X's.
Another strategy to use is to complete larger rows in order to earn more points and unfreeze and remove more fruit from the board. Even though this will require a keen eye and quick clicks of the mouse, your chances of excelling to the next level are increased. Remember, you will earn bonus points for remaining time you have on the clock after unfreezing all the fruit, so increasing your reaction time is important.
Even though Fruit Frenzy, like many of the games found on Uvme.com is comprised of three or more levels, getting to the top level is difficult for many. But this game is so much fun that you can easily become addicted. Developing a few simple strategies can really help enhance your enjoyment and overall score.
While playing, take note of your strengths and weaknesses.
How can you improve your score? Are you easily distracted by the music or the sound of the blender? If so, turn the volume down.
Once you develop a few strategies of your own, try them out against those who've become pro's at playing Fruit Frenzy. See how well your strategies stack up to theirs. After all, this is what makes Uvme.com so much fun.
Who knows, maybe you'll become the next top player of Fruit Frenzy!
If you want to have a look at this game -take my advice - please don't part with any money straight away, you'll get eaten alive by skilled players of this deceptively easy looking game.
As with all of the leading on line games sites, like King.com. Pogo.com and Miniclip.com get on their site and play for free until you feel confident enough to spend money on challenging your friends. Even that is made easy on all uVme games for you by the inclusion of a Social Network interface.

Making Money Through The Web - Its Easy

The universal truth is that most of the people do not want to work for their living. But if you could live without working then why do you think are you working? But it is also true that many are making huge amount of money the easy way. Question is how do they do it? The Answer is simple. These people are making huge money through the web.
Most of the people who work for a regular day job are never satisfied with their work and salaries. The reason is most of the times they are involved in the work which they do not like to do, there are no new challenges and the work load just doesn't seem to get any lighter. My point is if you are already working for hours with unsatisfied salary, then why not aim higher, work for less hours and double or triple your salaries with lot of time to spare for the family and friends?
Is there a way out? Yes making money through the web is the answer. There are plenty of opportunities to do this. You can either do it full time or part time depending on how much time can you commit to do this.
The first opportunity with the most potential for earning big bucks through the web is by turning yourself into internet salesperson. The biggest advantage in becoming an internet salesperson is that you don't have to go around the city sweating, you don't have to converse with people from house to house or from office to office. All you need to do is to choose a form of internet marketing at which you will be good at. Once you make that choice think about which product would you like to market.
The fastest way to earn money through the web is to sell digital products. If you have your own product that's the best option. But if you do not have your own product then also there is no problem at all. You can find lots of informative products on the internet which will teach you how to earn from other peoples products. This is called affiliate marketing.
Now this is not the only opportunity available. The World Wide Web, being an economy in itself, offers a variety of opportunities for making money. You can try your hand at freelance jobs like data encoding, medical transcription, article composition and programming. There are a number of freelancer websites that you can join so you may work at home and put some extra money in your pocket. Start-up capital = $0
There are supposedly expert moneymakers who, for a small fee of $100 to $200 will teach you how to earn $2,000 to $10,000 a month. You can try out their system for free, but, you will have to place a deposit to be able to get the free trial. Start-up capital = $49 to $100 depending on deposit requirement
Finally, if you keep patience and keep working hard at a steady pace then no one can stop you to become a successful person. Once everything is established, you will have the potential to earn from $0 to unlimited income. All you have to do is to keep yourself updated every month and you will soon see yourself getting retired from regular day job and earning unlimited income from home in your spare time through the web.

How To Recover Through Business Financial Troubles

If you were having problems with your personal finances you would sit down and figure what you have coming in, what bills you owe, what you can go without in every way and what you must have in order to basically survive.
This is what you have to be able to do while your business is going through a rough period. The economy has been in a depression or recession, depending on whom you ask for many months. The questions are whether the recovery will come soon enough?
From the largest corporation to the smallest individual shop owner the calculation is the same. Can I find a way to bring in more money? How can I reduce expenditures even more? How much longer can I keep the business afloat? Will that be long enough? How many months away is the recovery?
If you have been asking yourself some of these questions and then you need assistance. Let's see if there is any kind of a formula that might help.
We'll start with your cash on hand. This includes the money in bank accounts, petty cash, and other cash on hand. Add to that any you expect to realistically receive.
The other key to the formula is the outgo of funds. Be sure to add all your monthly expenses into your outgo calculation. A good way to be sure is to go back through the business checkbook for the past several month
You also need to add to the monthly outgo rate, a portion of any longer-term expenses such as quarterly payments, tax assessments, etc. so your formula is exact.
You then divide your cash plus income by your monthly outgo. For an example, if you have $1500 in the bank and expect to receive $500 each month you can expect to stay in business for three months if your outgo is $1000 per month.
Obviously, you want to do everything you can to increase your income. A small business can take advantage of discounts on invoices for prompt payment upon receipt. Do this during the good times and you will have extra to carry you through the bad time
If you make it a point of paying your invoices on time, you might have a small cushion when you really need it from your creditors. If you are always paying late, well, forget that! Hold off on all new purchases and make due with what you presently have.
Some businesses report they are now beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel. And the question is when will others see it and when will others be able to quit their second job?

How To Get Started In The Great Sport Of Fishing

Now I don't know all there is to know about fishing, but here are a few pointers on what you need to get started.
To start you need fishing tackle.
There are a lot of fishing tackle items. Some but not all will be mentioned here. Fishing tackle is necessary both to get the lure or bait to the fish and to get the fish to the angler.
A. Select A Fishing Pole
You are going to need a "fishing pole." Fishing poles are named for the reel (or lack of reel) that holds the fishing line. Every type of fishing reel has an appropriate rod that goes with it.
1. Pole and Line. The simplest is a pole (Cane Poles are great for this) with fishing line attached to the end of it. You can use this with a float or bobber and a hook or lure. This is a very simple set up and not at all expensive. It is very effective in shallow water.
2. Spincast Rod and reel. This simple set up is usually the best rod and reel for beginning anglers. Spincast gear is used to cast light to medium size lure
3. Spinning Gear. Spinning reels can be used for casting very light to heavy lure
4. Baitcast Gear. Baitcast gear has more control than spinning gear and is used to cast moderate to very heavy weights farther than other reel
5. Fly Rods and Reels. A fly rod works differently that other rods and reels. In fly casting the lure is carried by the line instead of the lure carrying the line. Fly casting is not difficult, but normally takes training and practice to become good at it.
B. Tackle Assembly
Depending on where you purchase your rod and reel it may come already assembled or it may be necessary that you assemble it your self. Here's some pointers on assembly
1. Be sure you have all the parts. Check the packaging carefully before discarding.
2. Put the rod sections together with all the line guides lined up in a straight line.
3. Reels attach to the rods in different ways. Different reels have different attachment devices. Place the reel with the front of the reel pointed towards the guide
4. Tighten the attachment device snugly, but do not over tighten. You don't want to strip any thread
5. Some reels do not have the line installed. Follow the directions that come with the new line if it needs to be added.
6. Thread the line through the guides taking care not to skip one. Nothing is more frustrating than to get everything tied on and then discover you have skipped a guide.
7. All that remains is to attach the appropriate tackle for your intended fishing or casting.
Knot Tying
Tying quality knots is a very important skill that should be learned. The knot that ties the lure or hook to your line is the most important knot to learn. There are several that work well, such as the Improved Clinch, Palomar, Uni, Surgeon knots.
Knot Tying Other knots are used for different special purposes such as connecting fishing lines together.
You should pick your favorite knots and master the skills of tying them.
Learning To Cast
Before using a fishing rod, new anglers should understand body position and hand and arm action.
Start with your feet and shoulders square to the target. This is accomplished by pointing the toes of both feet at the target area.
Next, toss a tennis or ping pong ball overhand (action similar to throwing a dart) a few feet for accuracy (hit my hand). Make sure you keep your shoulders square.
This is the desired body and arm action for accurate casting. Release of the ball is at a similar position as thumb release when casting.
Now try it with a fishing rod, a spin cast rod is best for thi
Begin Casting
When learning to cast a fishing pole for the first time, it is best to tie on a casting plug without hooks, using newly learned knots.
Safety is an important habit to establish, check the immediate area around and above to be sure you have plenty of space.
Reel in line so the casting plug hangs a few inches from the tip of the rod. Point the rod at an object on the horizon with your hands comfortably at you waist.
Then raise the rod to the 130 o-clock position. This is the normal release position. Practice sliding your thumb off the release button.
When ready to cast, slowly move the rod to a point slightly behind the shoulder of the casting arm, the 11 oclock position. Hand should be slightly above and in front of the shoulder with forearms nearly straight up and down. Hold this position momentarily to concentrate. With the thumb of the casting arm, push and hold the push button on the reel. To cast, the hand should go up slightly and forward as you extend your arm.
By rotating the wrist, move the rod back toward the 3 oclock position in a quick motion, extending the arm forward. Slide the thumb off the button at the same point as you originally released the ball (approximately 130 oclock position). Stop the fishing rod with it pointed slightly above the original target.
If the lure went too high and fell short, you released the button too soon. If the lure went too low and fell short, the button was released too late.
C. Advanced Casting
When you advance from spin casting to spinning or bait casting, the overhead cast is the easiest cast with which to start. However, after mastering basic casting with each type of equipment, the angler needs to vary the position of the rod for different situations.
Advanced casting can include a quick transition from 3 oclock to 11 oclock and back and forward (constant motion) to add the rods catapult action.
A. Choosing Appropriate Tackle
Terminal tackle is the tackle between the fish and the rod. Hoooks, snaps and swivels, weights and sinkers, floats or bobbers. All of these come in various sizes and weights. You will need to have a variety of them available in your tackle box.
Other tackle that is helpful in fishing includes a tackle box to hold all equipment. A sharpening stone to keep hooks sharp. A lure retriever. Fingernail clippers to safely cut fishing line. A pair of long nose pliers with wire cutters for holding and removing fish hooks (hopefully only from the fish.)
Other items that you might like to have, but are not essential include fish baskets for holding smaller fish. Some fishermen like to have a landing net handy for larger fish. A cooler with ice keeps your catch fresh. A thin flexible fillet knife for fish cleaning. An inch ruler to verify legal length.
If you are planning on becoming a regular fisherman it is good to have an angler's diary to remind you how fish were caught, what the weather was like, and what the fishing were biting on.
There are many other things to be learned about fishing choosing where to fish. How to set the drag on your reel. How to hold the pole when retrieving a fish. Setting the hook. Playing the fish. Landing the fish. How to attach live bait. Using artificial lures.
If all of this sounds like a little more than you are willing to get involved in. Then just do this Get yourself a can of worms or some crickets. Cut a nice sapling limb, tie on a sturdy piece of line add a small hook, a sinker and a bobber or float. Find a stream where there are some overhanging tree's. Fish there and catch a bucket full of perch or bream. It is one of the best fishing experiences there is!

Spikenard:One Of Many Rare Essential Oils

We live in a stressful world. Those things that can cause stress in our lives are personal relationships, work, finances, illness, etc. To help cope with these stresses there are many things that individuals can do. Some of those things included a walk in the park, meditation, yoga, listening to music, etc.
One additional stress relieving activity is through the use of aromatherapy. Aromatherapy utilizes various scents to help the body emotionally, mentally and physically. Generally, aromatherapy uses essential oil
Essential oils are liquid in nature and are usually drawn and created from certain natural elements. Those elements could be leaves, roots, spices, trees, flowers, grasses, and fruits. Within the category of essential oils a certain subcategory has been established. The subcategory is known as rare essential oils.
One such rare essential oil is Spikenard. When considering the use of this rare essential oil it is important to know what constitutes a rare essential oil, what Spikenard is and what the uses of this oil are.
What Are Rare Essential Oils?
Rare essential oils are those oils that provide a unique scent or aroma. This uniqueness is based on the substance or combination of substances that are used in comprising the rare essential oil. Often this uniqueness is based on the limited availability of the flower, spice, tree, etc. In addition the rarity of the essential oil may be determined through a blending or combination of ingredient
What Is Spikenard?
One such rare essential oil is Spikenard. The Bible alludes to this oil as the one that Mary Magdalene used on the feet of Jesus. The reason for this essential oil being labeled as rare is because it is taken from the Spikenard plant that is found in the Himalayas.
The actual oil is produced by crushing the stems of this flower and through a distilling process it is produced into a usable form. When created into an oil form the appearance of the oil takes on an amber color.
Uses Of Spikenard
This rare essential oil serves a number of purposes when used as oil or in incense form. One of the best methods to take advantage of this scent is through the use of a diffuser. A diffuser is a device that helps to circulate essential oils into the air as part of aromatherapy.
Some of the popular uses of Spikenard are to treat insomnia, difficulties during pregnancy, excessive gas and to aid in addressing sleeplessness. One of the precautions to remember when utilizing rare essential oils is that they are not recommended for an individual to inhale if they have asthmatic problems.

Network Marketing Training: How To Doing it Right

Getting people inspired can be incredibly difficult. People might not realize this, but every day at least once, you are trying to get someone excited about what you talked about. This could be things like telling your spouse about the dream you just woke up from, or getting your child excited about eating their vegetables.
Things get a lot harder when you are trying to teach or train someone to do a certain task. Communication is an essential part of our day and can help build friendships and strong networks. They may not be as motivated as you, there are certain things you should consider doing when you are Network Marketing Training.
Network Marketing, or as it is often called, Multi-Level Marketing is where you try and sell products or services through word of mouth. Effective communication is incredibly important to being successful in doing this. You as the trainer need to provide the necessary guidance to others.
Keeping the content new is fresh is very important. People easily get bored with seeing and doing the same things over in over again. Bringing something new to the mix, even if it is small, can create excitement and with that can inspire people to work harder. Keeping people up to date on what is going on at a regular basis helps things a lot as well.
Making sure the people your are telling about the product have the right information is another key element to success. Doing this starts at the very beginning when you first tell someone about the product. If you give them wrong information, the whole system is flawed from the beginning. Once you have passed on the correct information to others, you have to make sure that they will go and spread the information exactly how you want and need it to be spread. Making sure that the people in your network and proper knowledge of the product is indispensable.
Effective communication is essential to become successful in network marketing, and in all aspects of business and even life. The better the communication the stronger the network you are building will be. The lack of proper training and communication to others can result in completely failure in Network Marketing and will result in making less or no money. That is what it is all about, making money, so doing things right from the beginning is incredibly important.

Protect Your Business from Patent Infringement

Regardless of the size of your business operation, whether you are a large corporation or a single entity on your own, inventing new product enhancements and new products requires a lot of work. It takes energy, creativity, motivation, intelligence, time, money, and failure. This is why it is important to patent your ideas and protect them with patent laws. This is also why patent infringement is more than just a financial threat - it's insulting your work and your abilities, the equivalent to cheating on an exam - someone steals your ideas and makes them their own. It is important to protect yourself from this which is one of the fastest growing 'white collar' crimes in the United State
There are a few different measures that you can take to protect yourself from this, although these steps may differ significantly depending on where you work, who you work for and the type and size of the business. If you work for yourself the best way to protect yourself is to hire a patent infringement attorney.
A patent infringement lawyer can lead you through the steps of the process needed to protect you. Lawyers are experts in this arena of delicate and intricate laws and having a lawyer on your side can help to protect you from patent infringement. You will need a lawyer through all the stages of development, registering your patent and then creating and marketing the product.
While hiring a lawyer can not guarantee that you won't be a victim, but a lawyer can help reduce the chances of you being victimized. Also, a patent infringement lawyer can launch a legal case for you that is much more prosecutable if you are robbed of your patent right
Patent laws and what constitutes the violation of those laws is what a lawyer specializes in - they have the resources to discover patent violations and to help prevent them, resources that average individuals do not have access to. If you've hired a patent infringement lawyer, then it's best to heed their advice to the letter - they know what they are talking about having studied the intricate patent laws of the country. Not following your lawyers' advice can land you in a pile of trouble and in the middle of your own patent infringement lawsuit, either as a victim or as a perpetrator.
Regardless of the 'size' or caliber of the infringement, it is always necessary to consult your attorney before proceeding. Any 'size' or level of infringement is prosecutable in a court of law. Your lawyer's job is to prevent you from infringing on someone else's patent, and to help keep your patent from being infringed upon - not taking their advice, which you are paying them to give you, could be complete suicide for your product and your busines
When you are choosing a lawyer, it is necessary to interview them to ensure that they understand the industry that you work in, and that your product is being created for. They should have enough knowledge of the industry to help you create the new invention without infringing on other patent rights and to help you maintain your patent rights for the product as you produce it.
Hiring a patent infringement lawyer has a two-fold job - to keep you from violating other patent rights and laws as your product is created and to keep others from violating your patent rights. The lawyer that you hire should have a firm knowledge of the industry for which your product is intended, even a 'little bit' of knowledge can go a long way for a lawyer.
Your lawyer should also have a support staff that can research and find the information they will need to help you with the process of patent safety. Having access to the knowledge that they will need is just as important as already having a firm knowledge of the industry. Lawyers have incredible research capabilities between themselves and their staff, as well as their position and access to the courts and documents. It's important to remember that a lawyer can get documents that you, as an individual and business owner, can not.
Find a skilled patent infringement lawyer to help you protect your business, both as a perpetrator and a victim. Hiring a lawyer before you begin production can literally save you millions of dollars and can help protect your name, reputation, business and assets.

How To Spot Work At Home Business Opportunity Scams

This is a scam, as other scams, is growing rather fast. It is amazing how crafty these operators have become to obtain personal information and money from innocent victims willing to work a legitimate job.
One of the main problems is that they now are making it look more genuine. If you have answered one of these sites and divulged personal information, you automatically have become a target for many group
Even when you post your resume online with more reputable websites, you may be exposing, yourself to these kinds of scams. This is because along with the reputable job sites are other operators posing as legitimate employer
Ask many, many questions so you know whom you are dealing with. The company may not be offering to employ you, only to sell you training materials so you are able to get a job.
When they offer you big profits easily by operating a home-based business realize you obtain nothing easily. And that is a clue to check with the Better Business Bureau.
If the contacting company tells you that customers are waiting and there is a great job market for this home based business you need to check locally first. If they profess the home business is for medical billing, call a few local doctor offices to reconfirm.
Make certain the type of work you are being asked to do is legal. Some types of work may need a license or certificate. Zoning could also be a problem due to restrictions of operating a business from your home. Check with the nearest U.S. Department of Labor before any decision is made.
One of the oldest scams around is the "envelope stuffing" scheme. Instead of getting materials to send out, you get instructions to place an ad asking people to send you money for information to stuff envelopes. It's an illegal pyramid scheme and you could be prosecuted for fraud.
After their great offer, ask them for references from other people who are doing the work. This way you can talk with the individuals themselves.
If you are told it is necessary to purchase equipment from them for your new business, do nothing until you have it in writing that you can return it for a refund if desired.
Do your own research at your library that provides good advise and lists legitimate companies that do hire people to work for them at home. Check out the "Work At Home Sourcebook" that has wonderful counsel and other resources.

Equipment Necessary To Control Pollution

Safety of environment and pollution are the current hot topics of our age. Every other day we get to read or see news talk shows being held on television channels on these two issues. This concern of the professionals is justified. The way the majority of the population is going about littering and polluting, it is not far when even the pollution control equipment will be unable to mange it.
Have you ever tried to give a thought to the extent of pollution and the harm that it does to the environment? Most probably the answer is no. If the answer is yes, then have you ever tried to do something about it? Probably you too are not aware of the amount of research that is being done to develop new pollution control equipment to meet fresh challenge
The fact is that the majority of the population is ignorant about this aspect of living and do not care for any pollution that does not affect them directly. The worst part of it all is that people keep on throwing garbage without realizing that ultimately it is going to affect them too.
We see people littering streets without caring for the problem that it may cause. Small empty packets of chips or a beer can, or gum wrapping may appear to be miniscule on their own but when millions of people through each one of them they all accumulate to become a huge garbage dump. It is indeed an irony that people would want their cars to look spick and span and care two hoots about the environment around them while throwing garbage out of the window while driving.
Even if we imagine a litter free utopia, there still will be garbage to dispose and would require pollution control equipment. Pollution has a very detrimental effect upon our environment and has necessarily to be handled in a way that it causes minimum or no harm to the environment. It is our bounden duty to preserve the environment and leave it in a better condition than we got from our ancestor
A small study of the pollution control equipment and the type of efforts being made by experts to manage pollution will make you realize the gravity of the situation. Simply try to do some serious search online to get an insight to the problem. Surely, you will think twice before throwing even peanut shells out of your car.

The Best Ways To Resolve Flood And Fire Damage Claims

Homes can get damaged by a wide range of things, but at the top of the list of insurance claims will probably be flood or fire destruction. Either of these things can happen suddenly and they can be mild or major incidents. Home owners are seldom really prepared for either one. Once they are over the shock of the event, then they have to deal with the havoc the flood or fire created.
When there has been significant destruction to a living space because of one of these circumstances, what is recommended is to have the residence checked out by proper authorities. A home that is damaged from fire can be undependable in and be just as dangerous after the fire is extinguished. If a residence is flooded for a lengthy period, it should be scrutinized for mold growth and damaged floor and wall structure
Once you have been advised that the house is stable enough, you may remove salvageable items. Care needs to be taken when entering the living space and removing whatever is salvageable. Objects like rugs, draperies, and furniture may need to be taken out for deodorizing or to prevent any further mold growth.
After things are sorted out that you are going to keep, it is time to start disposing of everything destroyed. If you can rent a dumpster and have it delivered, this could be the easiest answer if there is a lot to get rid of. If it is not that much, then a pick up or trailer might do. After the destroyed items are out of the residence, you can assess the devastation to the ceilings, walls, and floor
It may be necessary to remove wall studs, sheet rock, and flooring that was damaged by a flood. Mold growth due to flooding must be thoroughly killed because it can cause health related problems if it is not removed completely and it will keep returning.
Something you do not want to do is to replace woodwork or sheet rock and have mold grow back behind it. Getting a professional can be the sensible answer when destruction from mold is extensive.
One of the most annoying dilemmas to handle after a dwelling place has been repaired due to a fire is the after stink. The surviving carpets will need to be cleaned and deodorized. The other floor surfaces, walls, and ceilings will need to be cleaned thoroughly with a deodorizing cleaner as well.
If you can, get fresh air in the attic and arrange open containers of baking soda in different areas there to aid in absorbing the stench and perform the same procedure in the basement. If this still does not solve the problem, you may need to contact a skilled cleaning business to do the job to get more satisfactory results.

Discovering Inner Peace Can Really Improve Your Life!

People with pessimistic attitudes go through their lives fighting their thoughts and emotions every day. If they are rejected for a job position, they feel that they are not good enough to have any job. They start to think that everyone believes they are stupid, and the cycle of pessimism traps them into psychological immobility. In fact, everyone experiences rejection at some time during their lives, but when your mind focuses on the negative aspects of a situation, it is hard to find inner peace.
The first step in finding inner peace is to think carefully about your goals. What are you trying to achieve, and what are you doing that will take you there? Can you realistically reach your goals, or are you setting goals that are far beyond your reach? Do you have any goals? By putting your priorities in order, you will be on the path to peace because only chaos can result from clutter and disorganization of the mind. You can start by setting small goals that can be easily achieved. Then, instead of focusing on failure, you can see the good job you have done in reaching your goal. If you fail to reach a goal, use this situation to learn how to do better next time. Do not wallow in your failure.
When you feel good about yourself, you will have an easier time finding peace of mind. Peace is essential for happiness. If you constantly feel sad, you are living under a great weight that brings you down to a point where you could sink into a permanent state of self-pity. Self-pity only encourages negative thinking. Remember, you are not the only person facing rejection or hurt in life. There are other people much worse off than you are. People with negative thinking miss out on inner peace because they let every little setback throw them off track. They criticize themselves for no real reason and go down a road that only leads to misery.
Sometimes, hearing the word no is a good thing. If you have lost out on a job, maybe that is for the best. What if you had been awarded a job position only to find out that it was not what you really wanted, or that you could not do it as well as you thought? Of course, maybe you like being involved in situations that may lead you to harm. Maybe someone says no to you to keep you from hurting yourself. Maybe they say no because they love you.
Every life is full of rejection, so we would do well to turn our rejections into positive actions. Taking action can lead you to inner peace because activity makes you feel more positive about a situation. Positive attitudes result in peaceful states of mind. If you are feeling bad about yourself all the time, you need to break the cycle and get out of the habit of doing so. You can train your mind to think more positively. It will take work and effort, but it will lead you to inner peace, and this will be worthwhile.

Time Management For Your Business

Just as a well-run business follows a budget in spending money, an effective businessperson should also follow a schedule in spending time. And a carefully developed strategy should be formed to determine how to use time wisely.
You start by identifying the number one way you can most increase profits by use of your time, then the number two way, then the number three way, etc. This list of time priorities forms the foundation for your time planning for every week of the year.
Focus is crucial for time management and the fewer priorities you focus on at once, the more productive you will be. It is important to limit the number of strategic time goals you have for each week.
No matter how hard we try to be perfectly organized, there are only 24 hours in a day. We have no control over time, we can only control ourselves and what we do with the time we have. Even if you have ten goals for the year, you can focus on no more than one or two per any given week.
A good place to start is by eliminating your personal time-wasters. For one week, set a goal that you're not going to take personal phone calls. For one day observe behaviors that interfere with successful time management.
Many of us are prey to time-wasters that steal time we could be using much more productively. What are your time bandits? Do you spend too much time net surfing, reading email or making personal appointment calls?
Constant interruption kills any hope of effective time management. One way to avoid interruptions is to make clear that when your door is closed you are not to be disturbed. Another is to have regular meetings with the people you interact with the most at those meeting
Next, ask yourself if you are spending too much time around the most congenial (and talkative) people, or not starting your schedule first? Are you jumping from one task to another because you are over whelmed?
Now you need to track your activities so you can form an accurate picture of what you actuality do. Start out weekly to make up a detailed time plan which you modify each day as needed until you have it down as a desired personal plan.
Except in times of crisis, try to make sure day-to-day issues don't push your strategic time priority list off your personal schedule. You can do it, you deserve it and it will reduce your stress.

5 Ways Colon Cleansing Can Prevent Colon Cancer

The typical colon can hold bacteria and be a host to numerous parasites and toxins. If left alone, these toxins can create an environment that is conducive to cancer. Colon cleansing can effectively remove these bacteria, parasites and toxins so that the colon functions properly. Keeping the colon clear and free of debris can help the body dispose of waste quickly and thus help reduce the chance of cancer.
Colon cleansing can be a great start to a clean and healthy colon. Once you cleanse your colon you need to make dietary changes that will help keep the colon working properly. This includes avoiding processed foods and those with additives as well as increasing the intake of fresh fruits, vegetables and whole grains.
1. Removing bacteria from the colon
Cleansing helps to eliminate the host of bad bacteria that often accumulate in a colon. When waste is not eliminated quickly it can turn putrid and become a breeding ground for bacteria. The bacteria can then be re-absorbed into the system causing health problems and possibly cancer.
2. Removing toxins that accumulate in the colon and are absorbed back into the body
Toxins come from many dietary sources. One of the most common ways is through eating processed foods and those with chemical additives and preservatives. Colon cleansing washes away these toxins to prevent them from remaining in the system where they can cause problems and lead to cancer or other colon disease.

3. Removing mucous buildup
Mucous can build up on the inner lining of the colon. This mucous can make it impossible for nutrients to be properly absorbed through the colon lining. Mucous can also contribute to improper colon function. The colon cannot properly expel waste when thick mucous is blocking it from working well.

4. Removing parasites
The colon can be home to many toxins, bacteria and even parasites. Parasites and their eggs and larvae are often present in the human colon. While this doesn't pose a problem under normal circumstances for those with weakened immune systems or those with other diseases the parasites can cause disease.
5. Allowing for frequent bowel movements
By quickly eliminating waste from the body it does not stay stagnant allowing toxins and bacteria to build up. Instead, frequent elimination keeps the colon clean and healthy and protects it from waste that stays too long in the system.

Enjoy The Seaside And Cut Your Training Costs

In my days at Best Western Hotels as National Conference Manager I was lucky enough to be win a sizeable government contract for training. Naturally I was delighted at the award and went along to the initial meeting with the client with rather a spring my step feeling very confident , previously all communication had been with procurement up to this point.
The meeting started well and the Training and Development Director explained to me the training plan for previous years, the basis of my tender, and how this year it would be a lot different, I started to get this sinking feeling. Then the real bombshell came, they wanted to train twice as many people this year, which initially sounds good, and then the sting in the tail, there was no more budget, in fact there was les
I left the meeting with all the information about numbers and frequency of the courses and rather than simply booking them into our hotels and completing the task in a day, I had a bit of a challenge ahead of me now. The only benefit I had was that the previous tender was with a group of 4 star hotels, and they wanted to move to 3 star properties or similar as they did not feel it was necessary or appropriate to be using such propertie
We held all the conference rates for all 220 hotels and they were broken down by month. A pattern quickly emerged and to many it's not rocket science especially if you have been in the industry a while, tourist locations that are not main cities offer some great rates when they are not busy.
The seaside offers some cracking rates out of season, which despite what many people think are very accessible. By train, places like Bournemouth are 90mins from London and Southsea is under hour, Scarborough is just 30mins from Leeds and Blackpool is not much more from Manchester, and the prices in the winter months are less than 2/3 what you would expect to pay for a similar hotel in a major city. The added bonus for me was that some of the courses tended to be 3 - 4 days so travelling a bit further was easier to justify.
A couple of weeks later I was able to present back to the client all the training courses they needed with half based in my favoured seaside locations and the rest in some of the typical central England honey pot locations. And because I placed the longer courses at the seaside locations and the short courses at more central the locations the budget had stretched to what was required.
I have to admit when I walked into the meeting to present my solution I was a bit nervous, I shouldn't have been, they absolutely loved the solution. The client had 8 regional offices and this fitted in very well with the desire to take the training to the regions. The testament has to be that 10 years on the tender has now been absorbed as part of a bigger government tender, and yet when I met up with the client at an exhibition, she was happy to tell me they still follow the same pattern. Sea, sand and the best value training locations - get yourself to the seaside.

Secret Strategies For Weight Loss: Use Your Sense Of Smell

Couple of weeks ago I saw a great film called Ratatouille. It's animated, and tells the story of a little country rat that goes to Paris to realise his (however unlikely) dream of becoming a chef. Initially, it was just seriously good entertainment, a feel-good movie-but the thing is, it stuck with me and I keep discovering new layers of meaning bellow the humble surface.
One of the treads is about a very nasty food critic that changes his ways (Scrooge-like) after tasting Remi's ratatouille. It reminded him of his mother's kitchen, her cooking and her love...
Food has a very powerful influence on our emotions- it can make us feel much better, purely by evoking happy memories of our childhoods. I guess that's why people comfort eat. It is a coping strategy. Expecting yourself to give up this very powerful strategy without putting something else in its place will probably not be very effective, especially in the long run.
If you want to stop comfort eating, find a different way to cope with stress. Your sense of smell is as effective at bringing back feel-good memories as your sense of taste. That is why these "home-perfume" candles that smell of coffee or chocolate or Christmas are selling like sweet cakes.
Your sense of smell and taste bypasses your conscious, logical mind to influence your emotions in a powerful irresistible way. So use it to your advantage. If the smell of Christmas spices make you feel good, burn these candles all year round. Light one when you feel low. Use different scents for different emotions. Bake bread make coffee- for the sake of the aroma only! Shop owners and real estate agents are already using this technique to manipulate us to buy more, now use it consciously to change the way you feel.
And when you feel an irresistible urge to over-eat come over you, a very awful smell can put you off very definitely- try it you will be surprised at its effectiveness.
Buying a new candle or even new perfume can thus be a very effective way to reward yourself as you achieve your weight loss goals when following a weight loss program. Rewarding yourself will give you the incentive to carry on and make you feel good about your body.
Do not reward yourself with a whole lot of junk food but rather something more helpful such as a new piece of clothing in the smaller size that marks a stage in your weight-loss program where you have made another positive achievement. Or run yourself a bubble bath and enjoy the heavenly aroma of a luxurious bath oil- make time to spoil yourself, you're worth it!
It is important that you reward yourself and feel good about what you have achieved. And how better to compliment yourself by buying a new, coveted perfume? The better you feel about yourself the more likely you will be to continue with the program you have chosen.
For many people it is a lack of self worth that caused them to start gaining weight in the first place so a reversal of this mindset can be a very powerful strategy for weight loss succes
It is more important that you feel good about yourself rather than being concerned about what others think. Each time you get closer to your optimum body weight you are benefiting as a whole with improved health and well-being and these rewards that you give yourself along the way are significant reminders of what you have achieved and they are very powerful incentives for bigger and better thing
Never underestimate the impact that this can have on your ability to succeed with a whole new direction in life starting from the inside out. So do not hesitate to use all strategies for weight loss at your disposal to ensure your success- use your sense of smell to help you stick to your diet.

Making The Most Of A Business Directory

Getting you business supplies cheap is a lot more important that you are probably aware. Especially on low price, small, replenish able items such as pencils, paper and envelopes. These items are the silent assassins of the office budget. Although on the face of it you may only be paying a small amount for each of these items you are in fact shelling out a great deal of money over a long period of time. The thing is you don't notice it until you take the time to add up your expenditure over a long period of time. For example you may think that paying 12p for an envelope is reasonable - it is.
But if you are sending out a 1000 envelopes per month even a tiny saving on each could save you a considerable amount of money. For example 1000 envelopes per month at the cost of 12p each would cost you 120 pounds. If you managed to find envelopes for only 10p per item it would save you more. This might not look like a massive saving initially. But over a month a saving of 2p per item will save you 20 pounds over a year it represents a saving of 240 pound
Imagine you make this kind of saving on a number of your replenish able items and you will soon make a considerable dent on your budget. So what kind of items could you be making savings on? Here is a number of the best items to save money on.
Pens
Keeping a track on how many pens your office uses and how much you spend per year replenishing them is really important. Making sure that your employees values their pens and don't see them as a disposable item is a great first step for saving money. Many people don't see how much it costs to waste pens. They will use them and constantly raid the store cupboard for more pens without thinking about how much this might cost over time.
This is especially important when you think that a single pen could probably last a whole year if the person using it was sure not to lose it or misplace it. Another method of reducing wasteful costs is to give your employees good quality pens. That way they may not see them as disposable and although it might cost more at the outset it will probably save you money in the long run.
Pencils
The fact that some companies still pay out lots of money on pencils is extremely alarming. Especially because people rarely keep them sharpened and do not get a full life out of them. If your staff members are using up hundreds of pencils be sure that they are not being wasteful and that they are using them until they are very short. After all a small saving in the short run can save you loads of money in the long run.
Dry markers
One of the biggest causes of waste in your office supplies is when the white board pens are put away without the lid being replaced. This causes them to dry out quickly and as a result they run out quickly. In the short term this might not look like a big loss of money but it is ultimately unnecessary. Look after your dry marker pens and you will save money. Because these items are used in large numbers, you are likely to purchase a number of different colours at one time, be sure to shop around to find deals that will save you money.

7 Questions You Must Ask Your Virtual Phone Service Provider

If you have researched virtual phone services for your business lately, you will most likely have noticed one major glaring fact. They all appear to be the same.
If you took the top 3 or 4 providers and compared them side by side, there would be very little difference between them. They would have similar feature offerings at competitive pricing. That being the case, how do you pick which one to go with? You have to dig deeper than features and prices. Underneath, all providers are not the same and to uncover the best one you have to ask the right questions.
Here are 7 questions you must ask when choosing your virtual phone service provider.
1. How long has the provider been in business and how many customers do they have? Check to see how long a provider has been in business. There are going to be companies that have been in this business a long time and others that are just trying to jump into virtual phone service because they see it is a growing industry. The company that has been in business since the beginning will have the best infrastructure, the best experience, will have laid down their foundation, have established a large customer base, and will not be going anywhere soon.

2. What steps has the provider taken to ensure you don't experience any interruptions in the quality of your service? You don't have to know a lot of technical jargon or understand how the back end of your virtual phone service works to find out if a provider is right for you. All you need to know is whether they have taken the steps to make sure your service stable. A provider that is serious about providing quality and reliable service will have taken the steps to make sure there are redundant systems and back ups just in case they have problems with their servers and equipment.

3. How is the provider's customer service? Call the provider and rate their customer service on friendliness, helpfulness, and availability. You don't want to be stuck with a provider that is not there for you after the sale.
4. Can they customize a system to suit your needs? Not all businesses are the same. Your virtual phone service needs may differ slightly, or even greatly, from the provider's standard offerings. If that is the case, ask what they can do to accommodate your specific needs.

5. Does the provider allow you to easily upgrade, or even downgrade, your service as your needs change? Businesses change over time and this means that their telephony needs can change too. This is especially crucial for a small business just starting out that has plans to grow in the future. Issues such as usage, features, and the number of users make scalability an important factor when considering a virtual phone service provider.

6. Does the provider have a number portability policy? Nearly everything in technology is portable nowadays. Your virtual phone number should be too. A confident provider will give you the option of taking your number with you should you choose to leave their service. A company that is not confident in their service may resort to holding your virtual phone number hostage in order to keep you from going elsewhere.
7. Does the provider offer a money back guarantee or free trial? Again, a confident provider will offer you the chance to try the service without risk. Take them up on it. Then if the service does not perform as you had expected, you are free to move on without having lost anything.
Choosing a virtual phone service provider can be confusing. Not because they are all so different, but because they all appear to be the same. Asking the right questions will help you uncover the best provider for you and your business.

How to Be More Successful?

There are many factors that may keep you from changing yourself enough to find success. Yes, I did mention change because if what you are doing today is not working chances are you will have to change to find the success you seek. You can be as successful as anyone else, but first you need to identify what is holding you back so that you can change it and move forward to succes
Fear is probably the biggest factor holding people from success today. Most of us are not willing to take any risks to be successful. Now I am not saying you should stake your financial future and put a second mortgage on your home to be successful, but neither am I saying you shouldn't. If the goals and your commitment are big enough you have to do what it takes to get you there.
Fear is usually a matter of not understanding something enough. Educate yourself on every aspect of what you want to do, understand what it takes to be successful in your field and then DO IT. Make sure that you understand it as well as you can, this will help alleviate fear. Lack of knowledge about your field can lead to failure. Focus on the things you can change, or influence and work in those areas. Fear of things you cannot change is simply a waste of your time. Take action and start to move forward. Advance on the fear daily and it will begin to retreat.
Pressure from family and friends is another thing that can really hold someone back. Family and friends are very well meaning and sometimes they can advise us and "save us from ourselves" so to speak, but most of the time when we share our ideas with family and friends they get scared for us because we are so excited and they advise us against the venture because they don't want to see us hurt. They are well meaning, but if you want to be successful you will have to be able to either keep your distance from the negative people or you will have to be able to look them in the face and thank them for sharing and they move ahead with your decision without letting their fears poison your excitement and drive.
Do not allow others to make your decisions for you unless they are where you want to be. If you want to find success you will have to change what you are doing and go against what they are doing. Make a stand for yourself.
Since you have always done something a certain way and it worked reasonably well you are comfortable with it, but if it's not getting you the results you really want you may have to break the mold and do something a lot different to find success.
Most people have habits that keep them from being successful. Be willing to break those habits and replace them with new more profitable ones. It takes 21-30 days to develop a new habit. Make a commitment to change just one thing a month and you will see improvements immediately. If you want different results you are going to have to take different actions.
How much do you really want to be successful? Do you really care? Lack of true commitment is a real killer for success. You may think it sounds great to make lots of money every month, but doing what it takes to get there is another thing altogether.
Do you really care enough to make a commitment, take action and get things moving? This is crucial to your success. You need to really take a look at your current situation and decide if you have what it takes to be successful or if you just have what it takes to dream about being successful. There is a big difference between those two.
Do you see yourself as successful? If you see yourself negatively you will have a tough time overcoming that and being successful. Make a list of what you want to be and then turn those things into positive statements about yourself. Your list may look like this
I am motivated.
I am organized.
I am decisive.
I am successful.
I am educated.
I am happy.
You get the idea from that list that it can include anything you wish to be. Start going over that list and change the habits that will make those statements true and say those true statements to yourself. This will change your mindset and your success will increase as you begin to see yourself as successful. When you start seeing yourself as successful others will see that too.
No matter what you do for work if you are willing to change yourself and do whatever it takes you will be successful. Being successful takes action, not just wishful thinking. Expect opposition and handle it so that you can keep moving forward and create a successful future for you and your family. When you are willing to make changes in your life to move toward success you cannot help but find it. Take the first step today!

Will A Loan Help You Dig Your Way Out?

Its hard to make a living in this world, I dunno about you folks but for me, I have trouble putting away much savings from each pay cheque. I worry a lot about my future and how I will be able to afford to keep myself in a decent state of living let alone providing for kids, pets and other family members I may have soon.
Well, there are options of course there is budgeting but you are still not left with more money, there are loans. Some people cringe at the thought, but I am here to tell you that you shouldn't. Take out a loan knowing the risks and with goals in mind and it can change your life.
The loan could be for anything, from a vehicle to get you to work to a student loan to get you through school so you can get a better job and earn more money. You could even get a personal or payday loan to tide you over till your next pay cheque. You may even need one for unforeseen costs like medical bills or repair bill
I decided enough was enough working a nine to five job everyday that landed me barely above the poverty line, I barely had enough money to get by each month let alone to save, this was not the life for me. I wanted to get back to school but had no idea how to go about paying for it. That's when I was told to start looking for student loans.
They offer to pay for all your schooling needs from tuition to cost of living to food and even offer you money to spend each month on yourself, for things like clothes, a quick pint with the buddies or that new mps player you wanted. All you have to do is budget and remember you will have to pay it all off once your schooling is complete.
That's alright though, if you planned it out well enough you will have a nice job after school paying much more then your nine to five job at a gas station or what have you. So not only will you be enjoying a better standard of life, you will be able to pay off that loan as well.
Well there are tonnes of loan companies out there and many are less then savory, I am here to tell you about a great collection of loan sites that have the absolute lowest terms which means you pay back less and pay off sooner. A loan can easily change a persons life, it did for me. I highly recommend you check out my site and get a feel for how a loan can help you out.
If you plan out the whole process, know what you are getting into and are conscious of it all the time a loan can really turn your life around and may be the option for you. Keep it in mind and check out my links for the best and cheapest loan sites out there. Good luck!

Wedding Day Hair Styles for Men

Thats right believe it or not, it is your wedding too. A wedding is a symbol of your commitment to the one you love, and as such, is one of the most important days of your life. As a prospective groom, you know that all of the attention is focused on your bride-to-be, but that does not mean that your own wedding day style needs to fall flat.
Tip #1 Let it fall forward. If you are normally a slicked back type of guy, take a tip from Tom Cruise and let your short/medium length hair fall forward on your face, using a professional quality molder matte texture cream. This look is perfect for those who want their hair to look slightly ruffled without looking sloppy, and women find it pretty appealing too-just ask Tom.
Tip #2 Spike it up. Now, this is your wedding day we are talking about, so huge, dramatic spikes probably are not an option, but you can still use a product like Professional quality spiker glue to give your hair a little bit of an edge. If your hair is longer in the front, try pushing it back from your forehead and spiking it up very slightly for an added dimension to your look.
Tip #3 Stay away from a new haircut This one is more of a do than a do not, and its something that stylists and beauty magazines tell women over and over again. Why? Because fresh haircuts do not always turn out as expected, and even if they do, you will have less experience styling them, especially on your wedding day. That can lead to disaster, embarrassment, and less than perfect photos.
Tip #4 Stick with the classics. Your wedding day is not the time to try out a wild style idea. Most weddings, even when they are attended by non-traditional types of people, are very traditional, and your family (and your new wifes family) will want to take pictures-lots of them. These pictures will be in photo albums for years to come, so it only makes sense to put some real thought and effort into the wedding day hair style that you choose.
Tip #5 Ask your stylist. You may think that you do not need a stylist, but you would be surprised if you knew how many men go to them on a regular basis. Your stylist will be able to help you select a look, and the professional quality hair products, that are right for you.

China Insider's Look At Qingdao

Mention Qingdao, and many people will recount rather hazy nights spent consuming lukewarm longnecks of China's most famous beer. Indeed, Qingdao - the capital of China's northeastern Shandong Province - is home to the most famous brewery in the country. But there's a lot more to the city of nine million people than beer, bubbles and brewing.
Boasting the largest fishing and trade port in northern China, the beautiful coastal city is one of extremes. Located in Jiaozhou Bay, the former German treaty port boasts an expansive German concession district, replete with unique colonial architecture dating back hundreds of years, beautiful old villas, and wide, tree-lined avenues. Qingdao also has notable Japanese and Korean communities, thanks to their close proximity to the city, and important trade relationships as a result.
Aside from China's southern Hainan Island, Qingdao has arguably the best beaches in the country. Further out of town, the magnificent Laoshan Mountains are a starkly beautiful conglomerate of granite steeps and peaks, overflowing with natural springs, and offering spectacular vistas of the ocean and city below.
But perhaps Qingdao's biggest claim to fame is its designation as an official Olympic city. Come August 8, 2008, it will host the sailing events for the 2008 Beijing summer Olympic Games - one of only five cities home to Olympic events outside of the capital. In preparation, a 45-hectare (111-acre) dockyard in Qingdao's Fushan Bay has been transformed into a world-class sailing facility, garnering rave reviews from sports enthusiasts during Olympic test events. After the Games, the marina will be remodeled into an exclusive resort featuring a five-star international hotel, an Olympic museum, spa, fitness and health clubs, a shopping mall and office space. Qingdao's going for gold indeed.
Attractions
Located to the southeast of the city in Jimo, Qingdao's numerous natural hot springs vary widely in terms of size and temperature. Generally heated to between 30 and 60 Celsius, although sometimes reaching a scorching 93 Celsius, the waters are laden with minerals that will heal even the weariest limbs.

Island Hopping - Also known as Lute Island for the fact that it resembles the ancient musical instrument when viewed from the air, Xiaoqingdao Island is a pleasant little peninsula, connected to the mainland by a thin thread of land. Dotted with black pines, flowers and trees laden with fruit when the season permits, it's extremely popular with young lovers who converge to stroll through the parks and enjoy views of nearby Yellow Island (Huangdao).
Beach Baby - Qingdao has six beaches, and doesn't let you forget the fact. The sensibly named Number 1 Beach is also the most popular. If you visit in the winter you'll see that it's lined with fine yellow sand, overhung with giant pine and cypress trees. If you visit in summer, all you'll see is a 580-meter (1,903-foot) stretch of beach umbrellas. The Number 6 Beach is also very popular, especially with tai chi practitioners and fishermen.
Art And Culture
Qingdao is hugely famous for its intricate shell carvings, and the Qingdao Shell Carving Museum is the place in town to get up to speed with the latest trends in the art. Aside from checking out carvings from China's greatest masters, the museum is a good place to pick up shell souvenir
History Of Hops - Tired of checking out hundred-year-old ceramics and bones that have seen better days? The Tsingtao Brewery Museum might just be your pint of ale, then. Built in 1903, the museum is located on the premises of the original Tsingtao Brewery, and it's an interesting place to learn not only about the history of the city, but also about the history of everyone's favorite beverage, beer.
Entertainment
Underwater Love - Opened in 1932, China's first public aquarium, Qingdao Underwater World, sprawls across both sides of the street, just opposite the bustling Number 1 Beach. An underground tunnel connects the various chambers of the sea world, with conveyer belts ferrying you about, permitting almost 360 degree underwater vista
Just Cruising - If you're not in a hurry to get to your next destination, cruise there in style aboard one of the many cruise liners docking in Qingdao. From the Qingdao Passenger Transport Center, ships depart for Shanghai, Yellow Island, Xuejia Island, as well as Inchon, Korea and Shimonoseki, Japan.
Wining And Dining
Take To The Streets - Some of the most authentic cuisine to be had in Qingdao can be found in the dozens of quaint restaurants lining Yunxiao Road Gourmet Street, Minjiang Road Gourmet Street and Maidao Seafood Street. The latter is particularly famous for fried spicy clams, seafood wonton, and roasted squid. For barbeque, head to the stalls of Taishan Road - you'll be able to smell the sweet aroma of roasting meat and seafood well before you see it.
Beery Good - A small street annexed from the Qingdao Brewery, Beer Street is pretty much just that - a street dedicated to beer. Located in the Dengzhou Road area, the street features dozens of small bars serving up many local brews, as well as liquid gold from all over the world.
Retail Therapy
Mass Market - Attracting almost as many visitors as the Great Wall of China, Jimo Lu sees an average 200,000 daily shoppers hit its aisles for a bit of friendly bargaining. This is the place in Qingdao to visit if you're after, well, just about anything really - from purses to second hand bicycles, furniture and even obscure Chinese medicine.
Night Shopping - if you still have some energy left, head to the Tai Dong night market. Opening around 5 p.m. every day, Tai Dong is a cheap and fun place to pick up Chinese souvenirs. It's also a great place to try out local snacks, including smelly tofu, meat skewers and local pork hamburger
Hot Events
Clamming Up - Paying homage to its fishing village roots, Qingdao throws out the nets every May for the annual Clam Festival. The festival, which also marks the onset of warmer weather, is basically just an excuse to consume fresh seafood and local beer in the sun, but who's complaining? If you tire of all the consumption, there are organized activities, including tours of local fishermen's homes, fishing competitions, and military simulations.
Qingdaofest - Established in 1991, the Qingdao International Beer Festival is one of the most highly anticipated annual events in China. Kicking off on the second weekend of August and lasting 16 days, the festival pays tribute to liquid gold with beer drinking competitions, parties, entertainment, trade exhibitions, and dozens of food and beer stalls representing countries from all around the world. Last year, over 930 tons of beer were consumed across town.

I Can't Need to Fix Corrupt Registry Files; My Computer is Only Two Months Old!

It's really great to buy a new computer! With it you can do all the things you were unable to do on the old one. All your former limitations are left behind you. You have the resources to do any computer operation now. The sky's the limit. Get any program you want, your computer can deal with it. You're up to date and then some!
This was pretty much the attitude, and logically so, of a customer of mine who told me about his PC that had become very slow in a very short time. He had a good virus/spyware cleaner and had been using it regularly. Still, the computer acted like it was being dragged down like something was eating its resource
We're talking about a fast computer here! This guy didn't make the mistake many people do when they buy too much based on price instead of quality. This computer has 2Gig RAM!
Onboard memory is critical, but...
Several times I ran into the problem where a new computer was slow simply because, even though it was brand new, it had Windows Vista and only 512MB RAM. This is not the case with this computer. It is P4 Humming around at 3.3 MHZ and even has a dedicated gamer video card!
When I told the fellow, he ought to get a good registry cleaner because he probably has some corrupt registry files, he became sort of indignant! "I can't need to fix corrupt registry files, my computer is only two months old!" he pleaded.
I understand how he felt. The computer was new and it wasn't cheap. He thought he had left old his old lack of speed problems behind, but unfortunately, the fact a computer is new doesn't make it maintenance free.
Why is there corruption?
The nature of Windows operating systems is the registry becomes corrupt during what is considered normal use. This is not only true of Windows Vista but also of Windows XP and all the other Microsoft Windows platforms as well.
The problem is, as these operating systems have evolved, they have become more and more complicated and use more and more memory just to be functional. There was a time, the Windows 95 era for instance, when registry corruption could go on a long time without being noticed because a few more kilobytes of memory would push the O.S. to work around this corruption.
XP and Vista use a lot of resources
Now, with Windows XP and Vista, it takes a lot more memory to push corruption aside and get the computer to slog through it. Also, the fact drivers are so much bigger, the programs new computers run are so much more resource dependent and newer microprocessors are required to perform so many more functions, this corruption can't be very effectively worked around any more.
Bring back the 486!
So, does this mean you should convert to an Intel 486SD with Windows 3.11? No not at all! However, like your brand new car still needs to have its oil changed once in a while, your new computer still needs to be scanned for viruses and spyware and it needs to regularly have its registry scanned for and repaired of corruption.
This is not a monumental task, nor is it cost prohibited. There are many spyware and registry programs on the market today. Just remember, like you wouldn't put used crankcase oil in your new Lexus, you wouldn't get some non-guaranteed freeware program to deal with your registry corruption would you?
It's just regular maintenance
These days, you need to scan for viruses and spyware regularly, and you need to scan for and repair registry corruption regularly, as well. Normally, this requires two separate programs, a virus/spyware program and a registry cleaner. Scan for viruses/ spyware first, then do a registry scan and clean because if you have any spyware removed, this will leave registry corruption.
So, the happy ending to the story is our friend is back up to 100% speed because he had a ton of registry corruption repaired. In a short amount of time, he, his wife, their two teenage daughters and their boyfriends had flown around the Net almost endlessly. As you might have predicted, there was some registry file corruption left behind. Still, everything is fine since the registry cleaning.
New computers are absolutely wonderful. I am a big fan of the biggest and fastest in the world of computing, but their maintenance is more critical than ever. This is just a way of life.
