Affordable Health Insurance for the Unemployed
Health insurance is very important, and can be even more important when you are unemployed after all, when you can barely afford to buy food and pay your rent, how can you pay for your own medical care? If you are in an accident or become suddenly ill, what will you do? It's crucial that you find some sort of insurance coverage that you can afford as soon as possible. Affordable health insurance sounds like an oxymoron, but there are several options you should look into.
First of all, if you were covered on your employer's health plan before you lost your job, you should look into COBRA. This stands for the Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act, and may apply to you. This form of affordable health insurance means that you do have to pay insurance premiums, but they are usually equal to what your employer was paying for you before, and frequently are much less expensive than conventional health insurance. This coverage can last up to a year after your employment ends, and usually will cover your family or dependents as well. If you have been laid off recently, check with your former employer's benefits administrator to see if you might be eligible for COBRA they will supply you with any forms you may need to fill out.
If you are not eligible for COBRA, there is probably still a way for you to get affordable health insurance. There are many companies that specialize in matching people who are looking for coverage with the appropriate company and health insurance package, frequently at no cost to you. Shop around with various insurance brokers and insurance advice websites, and make a list of what your own situation requires in the way of health coverage - there's no point in paying for something that doesn't apply to you. You may require only short-term coverage, or you may be looking for something long-term. If you have small children, your needs are probably different from your neighbors who are approaching retirement and have no family at home.
Finding the proper package of affordable health insurance to suit your needs may take a little bit of research on your part, but it will be worth it. No one can predict what health emergencies may happen tomorrow, and even everyday minor illnesses can be terribly draining, both financially and emotionally, to those who have no health insurance at all. If you are without any coverage, you may avoid even a simple doctor's visit for a checkup, which can lead to further problems if you have a health condition that needs monitoring, or worse, one that you don't even know about, which will only cost you much more money in the long run, as well as hurt your health. Protect your well-being and your wallet by finding affordable health insurance today.

Dog Training - Pros and Cons of Control Tools
At times the differences between training and control is too easily lost. Training involves the use of commands and hand gestures, with leashes or treats, to gain desired behavior. On the other hand, using choke or 'no-bark' collars, electronic fences and similar devices is for control.
Control isn't always a negative thing. Dogs typically have and seek a social hierarchy in which one is the alpha (leader) and in any human-dog pair the human has to take that role. If this doesn't happen the result is destruction of property, conditions that are unsafe for dogs and humans, a maladjusted dog and much frustration on the part of the dog owner.
Choke collars were invented to aid in obtaining control. Dogs, like humans, are each individual and possess their own separate personalities. Some are naturally more assertive or slower to learn. For the dogs that aren't responsive to a regular leather or nylon collar, a metal choke collar can offer increased discouragement from pulling and leaping.
The possible problem is that if used improperly - which is all too easy to do - they can be counter productive and sometimes even unsafe. Choke collars fit only one way and when fitted should allow from one to three fingers gap between the neck and the collar. Three for a larger dog, one for smaller. Normally, a collar two inches longer than the neck circumference will do.
If used improperly, however, choke collars may pinch the skin - creating hot spots that will be made worse if the dog scratches them. Choke collars can also unintentionally squeeze the trachea. An instantaneous pull-and-release is not injurious, although because of the way it is designed creates discomfort, however for dogs that are inclined to pull against the leash this movement is not easy to do. Choke collars are generally not recommended, particularly for small dog
Prong collars are not as dangerous as they seem, but - in this trainer's view - have virtually no redeeming characteristics. The one beneficial feature of the design is their restricted diameter - they can only close down so far. Then again, a dog with such a strong tendency to pull that prong collars look attractive to use, needs more than a quick fix consisting of choking and poking. That animal requires dedicated attention and behavior modification training.
Halter collars, which wrap around both the neck and the muzzle, but doesn't prevent panting or impair drinking can give the owner additional control. The downside is, since they don't restrict biting or grasping, much of their potential value is gone. An ordinary leash and collar, or even a chest halter may be preferable.
'No-bark' collars will occasionally help with those dogs that continue to bark long after the initial impetus is gone. Barking is a natural response to possible threats and is also used to attract attention when the dog becomes separated from the pack. However, for reasons not completely understood, some individual dogs continue to bark for extended periods of time or at the slightest irritation.
Electronic collars that dissuade barking come in two types noise and shock. Noise collars give off a short, unpleasant sound that distracts and is intended to discourage continued barking.
Shock collars produce a short but painful electric shock that can be repeated and lengthy during prolonged and/or persistent barking. Objective tests of their effectiveness demonstrate varied results, however. As with prong collars, any dog requiring one would probably benefit more from careful, professional help.
At times quick fixes are tempting and have their place - until they become substitutes for more beneficial (both to trainer and dog) long-term training. Investing the time to learn to get the attention of your dog and compliance without excessive reliance on control devices is always better. The end result is a saner owner and happier dog.

Word Of Mouth Marketing - Three Simple Tactics Will Guarantee Your Word Of Mouth Marketing Success
By now everyone on earth knows what word of mouth marketing is. There is even a word of mouth marketing association, which seems bizarre since isn't word of mouth what we as humans do? Do we have to be taught how to market by talking about it?
And since we all know the reverse side of the 80/20 principle, that twenty percent of everything we do is likely to generate eighty percent of our profits, shouldn't that apply to word of mouth marketing too?
Here are three word of mouth tactics that will increase your profits be eighty percent.
Do there three things right and the results will follow. If you want to fill up your days by joining a word of mouth association, even a tips group, knock yourself out. None of those things will have much of a payoff for you but you can act like you're busy drumming up new busines
The first, and simplest tactic is to make it clear to everyone that you are interested in new business. I know that sounds silly since everyone is looking for new business. But think about how much effort you put into letting your clients know how successful and how busy doing stuff you are.
When you give people the impression you are too busy to call them right back, too successful to work on small deals, or so in-demand you can't be bothered to do a little pro bono work - you are transmitting the opposite of what you should be broadcasting. If you want new business that i
Create a strategy that makes it clear to one and all that, while you are really successful, you are open to new business. In fact when something or someone comes along that interests you or someone that you can help, you will jump on the opportunity to do so.
Second, you must teach your clients - your entire fan club for that matter, about the full range of your services. I bet your clients really only know what you did for them. When they know all the services you provide they are much more likely to know people who can benefit by what you do.
Let's face it, most of your customers are buying from you because they like you. They are happy to tell their friends about you and do so whenever the opportunity arises. When they know the full scope of your services there will be exponentially more people for them to tell.
When it comes to implementing these first two tactics, consider a newsletter with examples of all that you do or a new web site like the one I saw recently.
A widely respected 18-attorney law firm that had long been considered to be one of the area's top real estate law firms had been quietly achieving great success for its clients in other areas of its practice.
In order to let its real estate clients and the real estate community at large to know of its broader expertise a new web site was created.
The objective was to position itself as a law firm that is highly effective in a broader arena of legal services. The newly designed web site not only reinforces it core image, it also offers individual marketing messages for each of the firm's 11 practice area
Imagine how much new business they will get from their current clients and by referrals in their core market - now that everyone already doing business with them knows the full story!
If one of your clients, prospects, or referral sources says, "I didn't know you did that" in response to a comment you make - you need to be much more proactive in telling everyone about everything you do.
And you need to tell the regularly. It's not their job to remember six months from now what you said you do. It's your job to make sure 6 months doesn't go by without some sort of reminder of your benefits to them and their friends.
The third and by far the most leveragable word of mouth marketing tactic is making the most of your professional relationship
One way is to make partners out of your competitors - the other people who do what you do. Making them partners is more effective than trying to battle against them.
Let's say that you have specialized industry or professional knowledge. You are an expert. Why don't you encourage those competitors of yours who are not experts in your particular speciality to refer clients to you on a split fee or commission basis?
It's a great deal for them since they are offering value beyond their own expertise, you are doing the work and they are getting part of the money. It's a great deal for you because you do not have to invest marketing dollars to get the business. And it's a great deal for the client since they are getting the best of what they are looking for.
Maybe this can turn into a process where several newly minted enthusiastic energetic professionals are drumming up new business for you.
On the other hand if you are the newby and someone else is the expert - the referral and the commission/fee spilt is reversed.
Regardless of which side of the equation you're on, the client benefits. You save time, make more money, and are seen by all as being more professional. This can be a very profitable two way street!
Be sure to invest the time to learn the strengths of your competitors and make sure they know yours.
One way that you can do that is to create a small community relationship between and group of your competitors by forming a peer group that meets regularly over the phone in a co-mentoring environment.
This twenty-first century peer group is not for swapping leads it is an experience exchange. The more you know about the value your peers offer and vice versa the more effectively you can collaborate with them for the benefit of your mutual clients.

The Impact of Mosquitoes on World Health
In the medical field, mosquitoes are perhaps the greatest scourge of any insect pest. In much of the world, mosquitoes are the number-one public health menace, it being estimated that they transmit disease to more than 69 million people every year. They are a common pest in virtually every corner of the world, since they have evolved to adapt to virtually any climate and condition.
But there's one piece of good news AIDS is among the diseases they do not transmit. HIV virus is specific to human bodily fluids it requires blood, sexual fluids, or breast milk to live. That's one disease off the list, but a small comfort when the mosquito is able to give you an astounding array of other diseases, infections, and parasite
The mosquito-borne diseases are mostly of the zoonotic variety. "Zoonotic" means a disease can be transmitted across multiple species, as opposed to being restricted to one species. Mosquitoes stand alongside fleas, ticks, lice, and other blood-sucking parasites as nature's handiest methods of porting diseases from one creature to the next. It could even be argued that if there were no blood-sucking vermin, there would be no such thing as a zooanotic disease!
The one getting the most attention currently in the United States is the West Nile virus. Almost anything with warm blood seems to be able to play host to a West Nile virus. It's preferred hosts are birds, but it is transmittable to humans, horses, dogs, cats, bats, chipmunks, skunks, squirrels, and rabbits, and we're probably going to discover more before the story's over. And of course, the main carriers of West Nile are mosquitoes. West Nile Virus, like HIV, has no known human vaccine at this time. It was first discovered in Uganda in 1937, and first appeared in North America in the year 1999. An interesting fact is that crows are particularly susceptible to it, and so the sudden deaths of many crows in an area is a sign that there could be a local West Nile outbreak. Thus, crows serve as a kind of "canary in a coal mine" warning of a West Nile outbreak.
The list of other diseases that you can catch from a mosquito bite seems to go on forever. Take a deep breath and get ready to say yellow fever, dengue fever, epidemic polyarthritis, Rift Valley fever, Ross River Fever, and don't forget to mention malaria. Malaria, a historically dangerous menace to the human population, has always been linked to mosquitoes. One historic epidemic in particular was the Panama Canal project, which had trouble with a malaria outbreak. This incident alone contributed to the 27,000 deaths associated with that project.
Now here's one fact that should be on the final exam What is the link between mosquitoes and elephantiasis? Lymphatic Filariasis, the parasite, is transmitted by mosquito bite as well. This particular infection is limited to tropical regions, and causes symptoms reminiscent of the famous "Elephant Man", although the disease actually affecting the Elephant Man was something different.
The dramatic threat posed by mosquitoes to humans has led to all varieties of drastic measures to ward them off. The things that work are mosquito netting, repellents containing the chemical DEET (N,N-diethyl-meta-toluamide), clothing treated with Permethrin repellents, and citronella candles and torches. Now that we've taken care of what works, the following is a list of urban legends for repelling mosquitoes which most definitely do not work. If you catch a patient relying on one of these methods, inform them that it's been de-bunked.
ULTRASONIC DEVICES They do not work, not only for mosquitoes, but for repelling anything at all. There is not a single shred of scientific evidence anywhere to show that any living creature on Earth consistently avoids the source of an ultrasonic noise. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency recently conducted a series of tests spanning two years trying many types of ultrasound devices which are purported to repel mosquitoes. Their testing grounds were the mosquito-ridden area around Chesapeake Bay. Their findings were that not one of the devices had any effect on mosquitoes at all. Various studies have been done in universities which produced the same results. Both the EPA and the U.S. Postal Service have begun prosecuting manufacturers of ultrasonic repelling devices because they are making unsupported claims for their product
VITAMIN B Even though vitamin B, particularly B6, has been shown to be effective against other kinds of blood-sucking vermin like fleas, it doesn't work against mosquitoes. Vitamin B works to protect your pet against fleas because it makes the dog's blood and skin taste bad to the fleas. Mosquitoes aren't fazed in the least, even if you douse yourself in a barrel of brewer's yeast.
GARLIC Why is it that every time you go to look up ways to repel something, garlic always pops up? Why did it have to be the garlic clove at the center of so many legends? Why not celery or oranges or corn syrup? But anyway, garlic doesn't repel mosquitoes either. It is a tasty seasoning, however.
BATS While bats are marvelous, misunderstood, and endangered species and building a bat house is something you shouldn't discourage, bats, sadly, do not make an effective mosquito-killer. Bats do help farmers by gobbling up a wide range of other destructive insect pests, but mosquitoes constitute less than one percent of a bat's diet. This is because a mosquito simply isn't big enough to satisfy a bat-sized appetite.
INCENSE Now this is just plain silly. Incense, at least the stick kind which you can buy at the store, attracts mosquitoes rather than repels them. This myth arises from the confusion with citronella candles and torches, which do repel mosquitoe
BUG ZAPPERS Oh, no, I hear you cry, those electric purple bug zappers really do kill mosquitoes, I've seen them! Yes, along with completely innocent and even beneficial species such as moths, bees, ladybugs, and dragonflies, and it's the dragonflies which, by the way, really are the greatest natural predators of mosquitoes! If a bug zapper gets a mosquito, it was pure luck that the mosquito just happened to blunder into it. You would need about a hundred of them around you to keep from being bitten.
Good luck in fighting them. Remember that eradicating the mosquito menace is difficult because they were here at least 165 millions years before we were!

The Gold Zone
Betsy (my domestic partner) and I were just talking about the difference between how things feel when you're in the "gold zone" and how they feel when you're not.
Julia Cameron calls it the "Vein of Gold," and wrote a great book about it. Athletes call it "the zone."
Let's call it the "Gold Zone."
She was reminding me of the months right before I got serious about internet marketing.
I had been a working musician since I was 15. I went "on the road" the first time when I was 17. I was gone for three months, and it was hard on me and hard on my family when I had to come back from being "on the road" to finish high-school. I took several detours, but for the most part, I was a musician for over thirty year
In spite of some success, I never really "made it" as a musician.
I got really, really close a few times... but something would always go wrong.
For example- in 2003, I played an extended tour of Europe. We went to Sweden, Holland, France, and England. I played from Bogner Regis in the far south of England all the way up to the Isle of Aaron in Northern Scotland. It was a wonderful tour, and the people seemed to like my music.
The scenery was breathtaking- from Moose in Sweden to the Holy Isle in Scotland to the coffee shops in Amsterdam to the street performers in London...
Everything was wonderful except... things kept going wrong. My band-mates made the decision to stay completely amphibious for the whole tour. Blame it on Amsterdam. The big festival in Sweden got no promotion, and nobody came. That's a long way to drive to play for twenty people.
And then I got robbed at Waverley Abbey, outside of London. Lost both guitars and all the money. And my passport.
I was clearly not in the "gold zone."
After I finally got home- and believe me, with no money and no passport, getting home was tricky- I took some time off to think things through.
I had started researching the internet marketing game, and met some of the players. It was interesting... but there were a lot of unknowns. There were also some very steep (but relatively short) learning curves involved.
So, while I was thinking, my agents booked another tour- this time to Germany.
That was the tour when all hell broke loose.
Betsy was alone with the boys, both of whom woke up one morning and decided to start acting like the teenagers they were. It was like fishing at the old pond, where the most dangerous thing you'd had to deal with was a catfish, and suddenly a fifty-foot alligator jumps in the boat.
And I was over 3,000 miles away.
After that tour, I really did some thinking.
I either had to move to Europe and play music, or do something else. Moving to Europe, at that time, just wasn't going to work... and, more importantly, it just didn't feel right. Betsy and the boys also had strong opinions about that.
Worse, every time I strapped on my guitar, I felt like the "rock-star police" were going to arrest me. For impersonating a musician. I never once felt authentic as a musician.
This is odd- I was an award-winning songwriter, with a recording contract, zealous agents, and a publishing deal.
I was a fraud.
I know some "real" musicians. I have a guitar-player friend who has several gold records on his wall. He tours with a band that has had #1 singles. When he's home, he sits in his studio and plays guitar. For fun.
I once heard an interview with YoYo Ma, and it really touched me. He talked about the most wonderful moments of his life. Those moments are when he takes his million dollar+ cello out of its case and sits alone, just loving the sound and touch of his instrument.
My guitars stay in their cases between tours. That was a clue.
Ever since I discovered internet marketing, I've been in the "Gold Zone." It was like finally seeing the "Pull" sign on a door I had been trying to push open for decade
Duh.
It was crystal-clear to me.
I "got it" at the first internet marketing seminar I attended.
The people who were successful were the ones who made products and sold them.
The people who were not successful were the ones who did something else- or did nothing.
I had a lot of help. I've immersed myself in internet marketing, read scores of books, and sought out the company of successful internet marketers. I threw myself at learning curves, and bounded right up them.
I had a blast. I quickly made a pile of money. I found my "Gold Zone."
Have you found your "Gold Zone," yet?
It's easy- especially in the internet marketing world. You can make a good, even a GREAT, living by solving other people's problems. It pays well, and it's karmically good for you. You can pick almost any subject- cooking, driving, relationships, ebook authoring, etc... anything but how to get rich online (please- unless you have become rich online), and build a portable empire by solving problems in that niche.
I have a saying, which will eventually be turned into a book- "Every problem is a product."
So, I make money and I help others. Perfect niche.
How can you tell if you're in your "Gold Zone?" Things get real easy.
One of the things I stress to my coaching clients is, "if this is hard for you, you're doing it wrong."
If you find yourself getting bogged down and disinterested in your topic- you've picked the wrong topic. Quickly choose another one. If your subscribers consistently choose to not buy your products, quickly change your strategy. In the online world, you can make dramatic changes instantly.
Life is too short to bang your head against the door marked "pull." You can push and push and bang and hit and throw bombs and cry and just generally exhaust yourself... and the door will stay closed.
I would say that the most important thing you can do to improve your life is find your "Gold Zone." Find your passion, and then find people to pay you for doing what you love.
Quit banging on the door and just open it.

What Is The Best Search Engine Optimization Software
The Search Engine Optimization, or SEO of your website is very important in order to get a high ranking with the major search engines, like Google and Yahoo. Though there are many websites that boast of SEO techniques and tips that guarantee top placement in the search engines, it is better to use the help of SEO software to help you with your optimization needs.
It is always better to use a reliable software program, and there are several different types of search engine optimization software available on the internet. However, the best software implements the two major SEO techniques On-page optimization and Off-page optimization.
On-page optimization software uses title tags, alt-image tags, meta tags, quality content, ease of navigation, H1 and H2 tags, internal linking and other features to optimize your website for search engines.
On the other hand, off-page optimization software specializes in link building techniques to increase your website's page rank and popularity. For achieving this, off-page optimization software uses techniques such as reciprocal linking, directory submissions, PPC advertisements, use of keyword rich anchor text for the linking of text and in non-reciprocal linking.
Off-page optimization is usually considered to be more valuable than on-page optimization. This does not mean that on-page optimization has no value, and is not required because in order to make your website more search engine friendly you need to use both of these techniques appropriately.
There are many types of SEO software programs which help in the implementation of off-page optimization and this software helps in the improvement of link popularity with reciprocal and non-reciprocal links. Some websites offer monthly membership for the use of their Link Popularity software while other websites offer them for a one-time fee.
When you buy software, buy it from a website with good technical support and a proven track record. Avoid websites that are one time sellers with no indication of future upgrades. It is also better to choose websites that have a discussion forum with quality user feedback. SEO software from a website that has a good product review is always safer. However, there are many companies that have their own product reviews which look more like self propaganda, and cannot be considered as an honest product review.
Submission of articles to websites is a great means of boosting traffic to your website. Upon writing effective articles, the next step lies in submitting your article into the appropiate category. Instead of doing this manually, it is better to use good SEO software that helps with the submission of articles to various article directories.
PPC (Pay-Per-Click) is another means of getting traffic to your website. Though there are many PPC programs available, the main point lies in choosing the right keyword that provides meaning to the content of your website. With the best search engine optimization software, the adwords campaign is optimized to help choose the right keyword combo for the PPC. This procedure saves you time and money.
There are several types of software programs found on the internet. However the best search engine optimization program for your website depends upon the needs you have for the software. It is best to read product reviews, and note the important features of a website selling SEO software to decide which software is the best search engine optimization software.

Decorating Products for Home Remodeling
Home Remodeling is not just about replacing worn out kitchen, bathroom fittings, furniture and lighting. Decorating or giving a facelift to the general atmosphere - that will be a delight to the guest and pride to the owner- is also a part of home remodeling.
A short list of the items to be taken care of while remodeling includes - Clocks, curtains, fabric for furniture, floor cloths, towel racks and grab rails, curtains, mirrors, pottery, tablecloth, wall tapestries, and other decorative accessories.
Clocks are one of the most strikingly visible objects in any home. A very wide range of designs right from those of the mid 1950's designs, floor clocks, grandfather clocks, mantle pieces, and custom designed clocks are available in the market. For those who like to have bright colors, computer created digital paintings on textured glass and incandescent colors that double as wall clocks can be given a choice. Retro clocks from the 1950's with either red neon or green neon for the trim look striking with the right background decor. Floor clocks that look like an heirloom piece are available in Do it yourself kits or as a fully assembled piece. Choice of a clock to a lot depends upon the space and decor of the home.
Windows need a lot of dressing to keep up the appearance of a home. Curtains, curtain rods and add-ons to the curtain rods can make a window look more like a piece of art. Curtains in lace, Madras style lace curtains, and Venetian blinds in old style bring the window alive. Decorative rods in place of drab utilitarian rods give a personal touch to the windows. These decorative rods come in antique brown, gold, black and pewter. Finials in various designs, finishes, colors, materials and sizes can be purchased separately.
Man is never tired of looking at his reflection in a mirror. So, mirrors have been designed in such a way, that you have a "welcome" mirror to welcome the guests. Handcrafted and available in red, green and natural background, words on the frame's perimeter welcome the guests. Oak framed mirrors, mirrors embellished with leaf and various finials, besides mirrors' designed to look centuries old, bring a visual elegance to the home.
Pottery gets noticed and makes a silent comment on the owner. It's true that original designs and makes cost a fortune, but careful search can bring in sturdier and safer than the original collection. Money can buy a tea set, finished in 22 carat gold from Imperial Hotel China collection. Creamy white aranware, fluted stoneware bowls in various sizes, the 1930s collection of multicolor Bauer dinnerware, and melamine and acrylic dinnerware are some of the choices available in choosing crockery for the dinner table.
Money can buy the most exotic things on earth, but commonsense will decide about the utility value of such things. Most of the things, bought today, falling prey to the salesman's psychological selling, may end up in the attic in the long run. So, one has to be all the more careful before spending whatever money on remodeling the home.

Buying a Home with Bad Credit
Bad credit isn't always the result of being lazy. Financial difficulties can happen for any number of reasons a loss of a job, illness, accidents or poor mail service just to name a few. There are also those who may have abused credit cards when they were younger and have since learned how to properly manage their finances.
The black mark remains, though, and haunts them regardless. The question is then, how can you buy a home with bad credit? Will it ever be possible for you to become a homeowner, or will you be forever doomed to rent? You want the security and comfort that comes with owning your own home, but will you ever be able to have that?
The easiest way to own a home with poor credit is to try your best to get your credit back on track. If you can pay 2% on the mortgage loan interest rate, you will be saving over $70,000 throughout the years. The best thing is to order a free credit report and to go over it with a fine tooth comb. If you find any disputes that you want to take up with creditors, dig up your receipts, and write some letters trying to straighten out whatever is being falsely claimed.
The law states that the credit agency will have to address the dispute within 14 days or they will have to remove the disputed item completely. After all of your disputes have been settled, you should insist that there be a new (and corrected) report sent out to all of the creditors who have received your report in the last six months. The process of having the corrections sent out is laborious, but it could mean a greater chance of you owning your own home, so be persistent.
One way to own a home with bad credit is to go straight to the source. Many homeowners are willing to sell you a home under a selling finance agreement. This agreement provides a "contract" that allows you to make payments to the actual seller instead of making payments to a bank.
Another option when buying through a seller, especially if a down payment is not an option, is to find a seller that is offering a lease-to-buy option. When you do a lease option, you will have to work out the math ahead of time to determine how much rent is going for a down payment, and after a certain period of time, how much credit you are going to end up with.
When you own a home there are many ways that your home can make money for you. If you continue to keep up with your payments and send them in a timely fashion you can increase your credit rating. This in turn can help you when you make the choice to refinance your home. Refinancing your mortgage can give you more money to use towards paying off other debts as well. In this way you lower your house payments and erase some of the other debts you may have all in one shot.
Becoming a homeowner is a gratifying decision, but it can also be a taxing one. Make sure that you don't become overzealous when trying to pick out a house to purchase. Don't try to live beyond your means, especially when your credit is less than ideal. Buy a house that is big enough for what you need, but cost efficient enough that you don't find yourself in greater financial strain.

Top 7 Business Website Mistakes
Making these seven business mistakes can spell doom for your business website. The competition grows daily on the internet. Avoid these mistakes, and you will be better able to compete in an ever growing environment of competition on the internet.
1)Infrequent updating- In order to keep the visitors who come to your business website coming back, you have to provide a flow of additional or updated information that will maintain their interest and give them a reason to return. Aside from that, if you don't update your website for a period of time, it is likely the search engine robots will lose interest and your positioning could fall.
2) JavaScript pop ups- Javascript popups can be overdone. There is no getting around the fact that they are useful to your business, but if you want to keep visitors you need to use some common sense. Don't overdo popups, and have them set so they don't keep popping up and irritating the same visitor over and over. Also, make sure that the visitor can find a way to close it, or they may not return again.
3) Heavy graphics- Keep graphics to a reasonable level. Too many graphics, and large graphics will create slow loading of pages. This is especially annoying for those who are still on dial-up connections. Flash is another thing to be avoided. These sites look great, there's no getting around that fact. However, we live in a world where people expect everything in a hurry. That extra entry page may look wonderful, but a lot of people will just leave. Most of these pages offer no information and do nothing but tickle the eye of the viewer.
4) Overuse of intense colors- Using color is about balance. Some bright color can liven up a website, but overuse is hard on the eyes. Reading online is more difficult than reading a book in any case, don't make it more difficult. Keep bright colors in areas that don't require long term reading. This will brighten the page without creating a strain on visitor's eye
5) Too much clutter- Leave some white space here and there, and don't jam your pages full to the brim. If you need more space, create another page.
6) Complicated navigation- Keep your navigation simple and easy to use. You want visitors to travel throughout your site. Make it easy for them. This will get more of your pages viewed which is to your benefit. And once they've moved on to another page, make it easy for them to return if they choose.
7) Balance content- The idea of a business website is to make money, but provide value and a reasonable amount of content on your pages along with the advertisements. Print magazines are a good example of what not to do. The next time you are reading a print magazine, notice how little content in the form of information they provide in relation to advertising. Keep a balance on your website. Provide something of value to the visitors to your business website.

Security, Climate And Technology
The world today depends on fossil fuels to meet over 80 percent of its energy needs, a simple fact of the way the industrial world has grown up. But dependence brings with it major challenges rising demand because of economic growth and new consumers the global distribution of resources growing concerns about environmental impacts of energy production and use and the timescales associated with transforming how we produce, deliver and consume energy.
All this places the United States and the world at an energy crossroad
Meeting the world's hunger for energy without fundamentally altering the global climate, increasing geopolitical tensions or causing serious economic dislocation begs for, indeed requires, new technology solutions.
There is, however, no simple or single technology option In the coming decades we will need a host of new technologies to diversify our fuel mix and control greenhouse gas emissions, and at the same time not hinder economic growth.
The challenge is large but there is also good reason for optimism-largely fueled by a range of new technologies. Some are ready for deployment. Others, though promising, may be a decade away. And some, while more uncertain and higher risk, could have far-reaching impact.
But this optimism must be tempered with realism. The scale of the energy industry is enormous. Therefore, so must be the scale at which these technologies operate if they are to have a major effect. Scale also translates into time.
Policies will have to be thought through and aligned. Also, since both markets and environmental challenges are global, international cooperation must be integral to effective solution
Of special urgency is the risk of climate change from global warming. Using atmospheric greenhouse gas concentrations before the industrial age as the baseline, a "business as usual" energy supply trajectory would nearly double those concentrations by mid-century, locking in average temperature increases of several degrees along with the expectation of severely disruptive impacts on human health and the environment. Such concentrations are thought by most engaged scientists to be at the upper limits of prudence.
Scenarios that address these challenges successfully, in response to policies that price carbon dioxide emissions, call for major advances in three key areas-energy efficiency, transportation fuels that are not petroleum-based and widespread electricity generation that yields little or no carbon dioxide into the atmosphere.
Greatly enhanced energy efficiency provides both the best short-term opportunity for addressing the major energy challenges and an essential component of a long-term strategy-perhaps a 40 to 50 percent reduction in primary energy use compared to mid-century "business as usual" needs, without a major impact on GDP.
But how to get there? The technology pathways for efficiency involve buildings, vehicles and industrial processes. Two-thirds of U.S. electricity is used for residential and commercial buildings.
Improved lighting, HVAC, appliances, active energy management, cogeneration and energy-efficient design could dramatically reduce our power requirements. Also, new approaches such as passive ventilation and daylighting can both reduce energy use and improve comfort.
In addition, new designs for the coming "gigacities" can minimize both energy use and pollution. We can also achieve dramatic improvements in vehicle efficiency. Options include advanced engine design integrated with new approaches to fuel utilization, hybrids and plug-in hybrids, "lightweighting," hydrogen and fuel cells, and others.
Hybrid technology appears ready in the next couple of decades, with further advances in battery technology, to deliver both very good overall efficiency and a considerable reduction in oil requirements. The second technology category includes technology options for alternative transportation fuels. This can include biofuels, conversion of coal or natural gas to liquid fuels, electricity and hydrogen.
Biofuels are currently receiving a great deal of attention, as they are renewable and strongly supported by the agricultural sector. Scientific and technological advances are needed to utilize agricultural and forest waste products and "designer" energy crops effectively and economically.
Such advances look quite promising over the next decade or two. Challenging issues also remain in the design of the appropriate infrastructure from field to fuel and of the regulatory structure for assuring fuel quality. And plug-in hybrids would lead to electricity
becoming a major transportation "fuel."
For the third technology category-electricity production without significant carbon dioxide emissions-we have to think across a wide range of options nuclear power renewables, including wind, solar, geothermal and waves and fossil-fuel use with carbon capture and geological storage.
Nuclear power provides about a sixth of the world's electricity. Expansion will be based on evolutionary improvements of current technologies, such as passive safety systems and new construction techniques. More advanced technologies may include modular gas-cooled reactors for the midterm and possibly, for the long term, novel reactors and fuels that considerably mitigate waste management concerns.
Wind and solar renewables are expanding rapidly and demonstrating considerable cost reduction. Eventually, direct use of solar radiation appears the most promising energy option given the large amount of solar energy reaching the earth.
However, many scientific and technical advances are needed to realize massive deployment new manufacturing techniques, new materials, new solar conversion processes and new storage technologies that enable use of a large-scale, intermittent energy supply.
Nevertheless, the competitiveness of solar technology in significant markets with high electricity prices is improving rapidly.
Coal can also be a "carbon-free" energy source if most of the produced carbon dioxide is captured and stored geologically. With current technology, this is expensive, but there is much promising research on new ways of converting coal to energy and less expensive carbon dioxide capture.
A major governmentled effort is needed to resolve remaining uncertainties, both technical and regulatory, around long-term geological carbon dioxide storage at large scale. This array of promising technologies-some ready today, others with an excellent prognosis in a decade or so, and still others as higher-risk candidates for "home runs"-offers an optimistic view of our capacity to deal with our energy need
However, as already observed, this optimism must take into account other realities. First is the issue of scale. For many of these technologies, overcoming key scientific and technical barriers is only part of the story. If biofuels were, for example, to replace half of current U.S. gasoline use, we would need about a hundred thousand square miles of land.
This raises issues not only of land use, but also of water resources, ecological stewardship, etc. As another illustration of scale If all of the carbon dioxide emitted by U.S. coal plants today were compressed to a liquid for geological storage, its annual volume would be about 50 percent more than a year's worth of U.S. oil consumption.
These system chall

Dog Training - Socializing Your Dog
Dogs, just like humans, display a wide range of tolerance for others. Some are immediately friendly with every new dog, mouse or bird. Others are forever unfriendly to even the opposite sex of their own breed. Considering that dogs are by nature territorial, the diversity is odd, but there it i
Naturally, animal lovers like to have more than one dog around and sometimes several breeds and other pets. Guaranteeing that furniture stays intact and bodies unscathed can be somewhat of a challenge. And don't forget about your neighbor's pets or nearby critters that wander into your dog's territory where your yard, not to mention your sanity, can be at a very real risk.
The initial step is to begin the process of socializing your dog as early as feasible. Just like young children, puppies are much more accepting of strangers. Since they haven't yet distinguished between friend and enemy, everything is a new experience to be explored rather than alarmed by or chased.
If you just have one dog, expose the puppy early on to other dogs and people. Get them comfortable with being touched, especially between the toes, in the ears and near the eyes. Along with impact on interaction with animals, that will make visits to the vet and outings a lot easier.
Dogs, typically, sniff everything. When they're about to interact with another, manage them until you are confident they won't chase or fight, and only then let them explore the other dog, cat or animal.
If the dog displays a tendency to jump or bite, put up with it to the point someone is going to get injured. It's normal for dogs to rough house, knock one another over and even lightly bite legs and necks. Stay nearby and be prepared to grab them, if necessary. Leather gloves may be useful during these first attempt
If your dog continually barks, distract them with a treat, a toy or a sharp command. If they still refuse to stop pulling or barking after a few attempts at control, try another day. What works will differ widely depending on the individual dog and some will simply never put up with others (just like some humans we all know). You'll figure out over time what works and what doesn't as you observe your dog interacting with other
It might be necessary to put the dog on its back, then hold it down with a firm hand on the chest. In more difficult cases a bark or shout into the face of the dog is helpful. Yes, you will look like a nut to others, but this technique is even employed by the Monks of New Skeet. The brothers of this upper New York State religious order are world-renown for their German Shepherd raising practice
Rescued or animal shelter dogs usually need extra patience when socializing. These animals have often been abused by people or injured by other dogs. Those experiences naturally many times lead to aggression or fear. Remarkable transformations can take place even in these dogs, however. After continual exposure they often learn to at least tolerate other people and animal
Start socializing early, expose for short intervals increasing to longer ones, repeat as needed. In each instance, be prepared to physically and mentally control the dog.

Golf Etiquette: A Very Important Part Of The Game
If you are a novice golfer you need to be aware of the importance of golf etiquette within the Official Rules of Golf. For the inexperienced player, golf etiquette can be a minefield so it pays to get to grips with the appropriate way to behave if you want to remain welcome on the course.
Golf etiquette 1
If you book a tee-off time ensure that you arrive punctually at the first tee, and do not take practice swings on that or any other tee, always take them to the side of the tee.
Golf etiquette tip #2
Always stand to the right of a player taking a shot and never directly behind. Do not get ahead of anyone who is playing a shot.
Golf etiquette tip #3
If you take a divot replace and always repair pitch marks on the green.
Golf etiquette tip #4
If you think a ball may be lost get used to playing a provisional shot so you do not have to return to the tee. If the ball is lost, you are allowed five minutes to look for it but do be aware of people playing behind you and, if necessary, allow them to play through.
Golf etiquette tip #5
Keep up a good pace when walking between shots so as not to hold up play. If a gap opens up between your group and the group in front of you then be prepared to call the players behind you through if they are having to wait for you.
Golf etiquette tip #6
If you land in a bunker rake it when you have finished. If there is no rake available then use your clubhead.
Golf etiquette tip #7
When you are playing up to a green make sure the players ahead of you have finished putting and are well clear of the green. Never put your bag or cart on the green but leave them to the side, preferably near the point at which you will leave the green to get to the next tee.
Golf etiquette tip #8
Never tread on your opponent's putting line and if you have to mark the position of your ball do so by placing a ball marker or coin directly behind the ball (unless it will interfere with another player's line, in which case mark it to the side) and always replace your ball exactly where you picked it up from.
Golf etiquette tip #9
When tending the flag hold it so it doesn't flap in the wind and make sure you do not cast a shadow over the hole. Lift the flag out slightly so that you can remove it with ease as soon as your opponent has struck his putt. When you have finished on the green exit it quickly and do not stand around marking your scorecard.
Golf etiquette tip #10
If you hit a ball that looks like it might hit somebody or if you hit it over trees towards another fairway that you can't see you must always shout "fore". If you hear another player shout "fore" do not stand there looking around to see if the call was for your benefit, just cover your head with your arms and crouch down to make yourself as small a target as possible.
Golf is a fantastic sport and if you follow these guidelines you shouldn't go too far wrong so just go out and have a good game!

Melbourne For The Young At Heart
If there is excitement associated with Australia, it has more to do with the crocs, snakes, and sharks, than it does with the hotel scene. That may be that the inhabitable percentage of total land mass is the equivalent of my entire family living in the Master Bath, while the living, dining, and bedrooms remain unused. Or it may be that Australia hasn't been acknowledged in the world media since the 2000 Olympics.
As I write this, the headline of Melbourne's primary newspaper THE AGE, is "Our Planet is Threatened by Monster Waves. This Isn't One of them. It's Time to Save the Wave," and the subject matter is a petition signed by 1200 cricket fans outraged that Cricket Australia has turned the nation into a "Nanny State" by prohibiting the exuberance of fans who use the "Mexican Wave" as a demonstration of support for their team. Now cricket itself is about as fascinating as the insect by the same name, so that in itself should tell you what the Aussie's are up against.
Having said that, Melbourne is a sweet town with a vibrant waterfront dining scene, a quaint, if not somewhat staid center, shopping that includes all of the world's fashion dynasties, and a surrounding natural environment of beaches and islands, just minutes away from town, that offers a pleasing alternative to urban life. The Park Hyatt on One Parliament is very centrally located and within walking distance of the free City Circle Tram, an antique version of the very efficient pay as you go tram system that dissects the city at every major intersection, soft as a whisper, frequent, and providing seamless travel throughout the city. The Central Business District (CBD) is infinitely walkable, and you can be from the Greek Precinct to China Town, to the "Italian" Lygon Street, to Queens Market in a matter of minutes, while the Aquarium is best seen by tram.
The Park Hyatt is the town's premier hotel, the Windsor being a plausible alternative if you want lunch among the Cricket Members in their ascots and suit coats. I enjoyed starting each day at the Park Hyatt with a swim in the 25 meter pool edgeless aquamarine pool, finishing up with a Jacuzzi that overlooks the Melbourne skyline, followed by a sauna or steam, in the Park Hyatt's elegant and less conservative ambiance. I could have played tennis had I been so inclined, or used the Day Spa which includes a myriad of treatments, featuring La Prairie and Elemis products, had I had the time to do so. Sadly, duty called far too often for me to avail myself of the number of opportunities for relaxation and so I am unable to report to you the details of a spa experience, except to say that it is small and unassuming and staffed by pleasant, accommodating face
There are a total of 240 rooms, 24 of them suites, and five levels of suites, all quite lovely, my favorite being the Presidential Suite. It has a commanding position on the 17th Floor of the Park Tower, and is literally nestled amongst the trees with views onto the historic buildings of the area and surrounding gardens and parklands. The master suite has two king beds, with gas fireplace, plasma television, extraordinary ensuite, master Italian marble bathroom, oversized custom spa bath with inset television, separate shower and double vanity. There is a separate guest bathroom near the a study and a dining room. The living area also features a gas fireplace. There is an executive area of the study that includes a facsimile, CD Player, four direct dial telephones and data port
In descending order from there, the Ambassador Suite is located in the Park Tower, with separate bedroom and living space, a study area, a dining table for six, gas fireplace, and views which in varying degrees overlook many of the botanic and historic features of the area. The average room size is 165 square meters, quite ample for most needs. The diplomatic suite, smaller at approximately 120 square meters, offers the same amenities, in smaller proportion and is also in the Tower. The Terrace Suite is located in the Cathedral residence and features king accommodation with separate bedroom and living room. There are large outdoor terraces that take in the view of St. Patrick's Cathedral. The average room size is 65 square meters. Lastly, the Park Executive Suites feature the same separation of living space with views of the historic precinct and are similar in size to the Terrace Suite
For those of you interested in taking in the surrounding natural environment, Phillip Island, home of the Moto Grand Prix, is also home to the Little Penguins. A Nature Lover Tour, with a VIP Twist, includes an escape from the 1,500 to 3,000 tourists who view the "Penguin Parade," the nightly return of the penguins from the sea, up over the sand dunes when the sun sets. While absolutely fascinating, the crowds and flood lights to detract considerably from the experience.
A little known alternative is the "Ultimate Penguin Tour," available only on request and by reservation which includes sitting on a stunning, secluded beach, and viewing them in their natural environment, under the cover of darkness by night vision infra-red binoculars. The cost of the experience is nearly triple that of the en masse touring, 60 dollars AUS, but well worth the experience, particularly because all funds go to preserving this threatened environment for their rightful inhabitants, the Little Penguin
For the young at heart, the Hidden Bar Tours is the only way to see Melbourne's wonderful back alley bars, if you don't know someone who lives or works in the city. The bars are so hidden, you wouldn't find them with a map, and they are often without signs indicating their identity, or even whether they are open to the public. Contact Gath Adams and he'll take you around to see the best of the best, introduce you to the owners if they're out and about, and even help you pick out an Austrian beer or cocktail suited to your taste
Melbourne is considered by many the cultural heart of Australia, and the many opportunities in this regard combined with a lovely multi-cultural environment, make a trip to Melbourne well worth the visit.

The Best Saltwater Bait
Saltwater fishing is an entirely different sport than freshwater fishing and has a lot of specialized techniques, materials, and needs. This includes the saltwater bait that you use for any particular kind of fish you intend to catch. There are, of course, several choices for kind of saltwater bait to use, but typically, this is based on what you are fishing for.
For example, if you are fishing for redfish, you'll use a different type of saltwater bait than you would to fish for flounder. Redfish respond well to grubs, especially those between 2 and 4 inches long. On a good day, the use of smaller grubs is highly productive however, on days when you can't seem to get a bite, try using bigger grubs, closer to 4 inches in length. This will attract redfish often even when they aren't particularly hungry.
In some areas of the Gulf of Mexico, especially in Alabama, fishing for sheepshead is a popular pastime. The saltwater bait used for this breed of fish is very different, since they don't base their instinct for food on smell. Stinkbait won't work for sheepshead they eat crustaceans, so take a good supply of shrimp or squid to attract these babies. Tiny crabs like fiddler crabs can also produce excellent results and tend to be a favorite saltwater bait to use in pursuit of sheepshead in Alabama.
In Georgia, speckled trout is the one of the preferred catches. The beauty of this species is that there are several different saltwater baits that work well to target them. If you choose to use live saltwater bait, opt for shrimp or mud minnows. You can also use 3 or 4 inch menhaden. When live saltwater bait isn't available, or if you simply don't wish to mess with it on a particular excursion, artificial baits that are 3 or 4 inches in length and white, green, chartreuse, or smoke colored will produce the best result
Flounder fishing is a little more specialized, and you really need to take into consideration the size of your saltwater bait. Finger mullet is probably the best choice for flounder bait, and you should be sure that your picks are about 3 to 4 inches in length. This is a general rule because anything smaller will be difficult to keep on the hook, and anything larger will be too large for a flounder to grab and hold easily for a good hook. If finger mullet aren't available, other saltwater bait can be used, including mud minnows and live shrimp. When all else fails, pink or red grub tail will also do the trick.

Lost Pets - How To Find Them
Pets are no longer considered working animals they are more members of the family, you will probably find you spend the same if not more time with your pet than anyone else and losing a pet can be devastating.
Everyday there are reports of lost pets, some are stolen others simply escape from home and can not find their ways back. It is important to secure your home so this does not happen to you and your pet.
Finding lost pets can depend on luck but there are additional methods you can take to try and track down lost pet
Make sure you have checked every possible place in your home and garden to rule out if your pet has simply curled up somewhere.
Talk to neighbours and friends and see if they have seen your pet or heard if anyone has found any lost pets, hand out leaflet or flyers, try to have as much detail as possible including a recent photo of your lost pet so people can see exactly what it looks like
Report lost pets to your local vets providing them also with a photo and description.
Contact your local animal shelters and ask if any lost pets have been handed in around the time your pet went missing.
Keep checking the same places over and over again as your pet could return to a place you may have already looked.
Ask local kids if they have seen your pet, if you offer any sort of reward never say how much until your pet has been found safe and sound.
There are many ways in which you can prevent your pet from becoming lost. Most are obvious yet we forget to do them, these include the following.
Make your home and garden more secure by putting up pet proof fences and make sure all your gates are locked at al times
Never let your pet roam around the neighbourhood alone.
Provide your pet with a collar and a tag which clearly states the pets name address and a contact phone number.
Consider having a micro chip implant, this would have to be done by your local vet and is a pain free way of tracking your pet and has helped find may lost pet
Although losing a pet can be distressing there are so many ways to prevent this from happening and ways to find them should they still become lost, not all make it home but a huge majority do.
The most important thing is to try and prevent this from happening in the first place as this will keep your pets safe and save you a lot of heartache.

Hard Drive Recovery: An Important Tool
Hard drive recovery is an important tool to combat data loss. Many threats to computers could lessen data accessibility. It could be as simple as file deletion. Or, as catastrophic as hard disk failure. Whatever it may be, the necessity for hard drive recovery in both circumstances is foremost.
The number one rule in hard disk recovery is if you accidentally delete files do not to write anything more to the hard drive. This data recovery rule applies in every circumstance. If you delete a partition, do not create another. Leave it blank instead. If you happen to delete files in the recycle bin which you consider important, do not save anything to the drive. This data recovery suggestion may sound puzzling but the reason for this is that hard disk do not delete anything, whether data or partition. When you delete a file, the data is still in the drive. What happened is that the operating system marks the physical area of the disc as available for future use while leaving the original data there. The computer hides the file so you can no longer get to it. Its still there until a new data is written over it. So if you save another data to the drive, it will consider files marked deleted as empty space and copy over them. If that happens, then the deleted data is in trouble in turn affecting hard disk recovery procedure
The same rule applies to partition. If there is no partition information, the operating system cannot read any data. But that does not mean that the data is not there. Only, you cant read it. If you have just one partition and the operating system does not function, the best option is to transfer the drive to another computer.
Transferring the drive to another computer prevents the drive from being accidentally written over and potentially allows you to access the data in turn implement hard drive recovery by using Windows Explorer. If you erased essential operating system files, the drive can still be read from another operating system. If you cannot transfer the hard disk, resist the temptation of re-installing the operating system.
The simplest method to hard disk recovery with single partition with damaged operating system is to boot your computer with DOS boot disk. Then use a DOS compatible file recovery program.
Installing your had drive into another computer or putting a new drive with separate operating system into your current machine will enable you to attempt access to you data through Windows File Explorer. And you can safely try data recovery since you have a completely separate hard drive. Freeware hard disk recovery programs are also available to facilitate the task of recovery. One can choose from various options.
The hard drive recovery tools suggested above are meant to facilitate hard drive recovery efforts. If all else fails, a hard drive recovery service could be the last option. Hard drive recovery service could be much more expensive but data saved could be worth it.

Office Yoga: Corporate Yoga for the Office
Could Yoga increase office productivity? Can Yoga teachers help the corporate sector? What can Office Yoga programs do for large and small businesses? Let's look at solutions that Yoga can offer to the business world.
The number of office workers has increased, with the invention of the personal computer. Working excessive hours in front of a personal computer can create a multitude of back, neck, shoulder, spine, hip, and wrist problems. Muscle groups, in all of these areas, respond with tension and a variety of long-term problems - if they are ignored by office workers and management.
Forty years ago, secretaries would have been patronized for their migraines, cluster headaches, back pain, hip problems, and sore necks. Now, times are changing, and there has been much progress with ergonomics and studies which reveal new insights about the relationship of prolonged sitting to specific health problem
A recent study, by The Medical Research Institute, in New Zealand, has revealed that office workers may be at a higher risk of developing blood clots. As most of us know, these studies are worded very tactfully, and do not jump to conclusions however, anyone who understands body mechanics would realize that this makes perfect sense.
With that said, let's remember that blood clots can be potentially fatal as they travel to the heart and vital organs. Blood clots can, and do, cause stroke, chest pain, and heart attack.
With larger numbers of office workers putting in extra hours of work, some "forward thinking" companies have begun to respond with office Yoga programs for their employees. Even short Office Yoga sessions can release muscle tension and alleviate the routine pains and aches, which result from prolonged sitting.
Therefore, companies, which take pro-active measures, by installing Office Yoga programs, are taking positive action toward health solutions for employees - thus, increasing productivity, while decreasing sick time, tardiness, and medical leave.
Office Yoga creates an atmosphere of decreased anxiety, less stress, positive thinking, and raises morale. Nothing is more rewarding than feeling worthy and being treated with respect. Any small company can take such action by installing an Office Yoga program.
Some companies pay a percentage for a Yoga teacher to operate an Office Yoga class, while employees pay the balance. Other companies see this as a "win-win" situation and pay for the Yoga classes in full. Regardless of how an Office Yoga program is paid for, the benefits for the corporate sector are just starting to be realized.

Hard Drive Recovery: The Services And The Software
Data loss can cause severe financial problems for corporations. To prevent such fiscal crisis, most companies invest heavily in hard drive recovery product
With most companies and businesses relying on computers for storing their reports, files, and information sheets, protecting systems is no longer enough to emerge at the top of the industry. Data recovery is the latest in counteracting loss of data whether its due to bad weather, hardware failure, malicious intent, or human failure.
According to the 7th Annual ICSA Labs Virus Prevalence Survey in March 2002, the average company spends a total of $100,000 to $1,000,000 of their IT funds per year for computer-oriented problems. This only proves that Hard disk Recovery tools and services is a prevalent need in the computer industry.
Several companies specializing in hard disk recovery provide the solution to data loss by offering hard drive recovery services and recovery software.
Some of the recovery software tools offered by these companies guarantee that hard drive recovery is the answer to such disasters like accidental formats, virus attacks, system failures, and file deletion or corruption. Most of these data recovery programs are designed for all versions of Windows, Mac, Novell, Linux, and Unix Operating System
Most data recovery software programs are non-destructive, that is, they are READ-ONLY hard drive recovery utility. They help you recover all important data lost or corrupted after a virus attack, unintentional formats, and the like. They are easy to use and can readily examine your inaccessible hard disk drive for damages and corruption before starting the data recovery process.
Even if the extent of the damage to your file system is severe, data recovery tools can locate, recover, and restore data that are lost. These programs are efficient hard drive data recovery software, which provide you with the best solution to the problem of data los
In the case of physical damage to your hard disk resulting from natural disasters like fire, hard drive data recovery software may not be enough to solve data loss. This is where hard drive recovery services come in.
Hard drive recovery companies offers repair services to their clients whose desktops or hard drives have incurred physical damages as well as in-house software programs to restore lost data. Because a lot of hard drive recovery companies have sprouted since data loss has become widespread, it is important to choose the right company that could provide you with the best solution to your hard disk problem.
The first thing to keep in mind when choosing the right company is to find out if it is an ISO-9001-2000 certified company. The ISO-9001-200 accreditation means that the company is long standing and is esteemed in the computer industry. It also means that the company has a very high success rate in hard disk recovery in both logical and physical crashes.

Starting A Home Business
Everyone wants to get in on the action when it comes to a home business. Working from home is something that can not be ignored, because you can set your own hours and you can be at home whenever you need to be there. There is much more time in your day when you work from home because you decide the hours, you decide what needs to be done and you decide when it gets done. Deadlines are something that you can set and something that you can take care of and you can be much less stress free.
All of this depends on whether or not you can make your home business fly. This is of course, the main objective and it has little to do with the fact that it is a home business and more to do with the fact that it is a business in general. You have to approach it the same way, because if you are looking at a home business as much different than a regular business, you might get into trouble.
In order to start your home business, there are several things that you are going to need. First of all, you are going to need a business plan that has been well though through. You have to know what good or service you are going to be providing and you have to be sure that this is something others are going to buy from you. This is the main part of your plan, because if you have a home business without a clear business plan, you will find it hard to run.
Next, you need a financial plan. This means that you have to have your rates set for whatever you are offering. You have to have items drawn up that let you know how much money you can expect to be making. This is also important to have. Something else that is vital to starting your home business is a way for the public to know about it. Are you going to rely on word of mouth, or are you going to do advertising.
If you are going to do advertising, you need to make sure that you know where the advertising is going to be and what audience it is going to reach. You should also be sure that your target audience is what is being reached, so that people will begin to use your business. Just like any other business, when you start out you should have some money saved to live on while the business takes off. This is something that is very important, because it proves that you can handle the stress at the start of a business and that you are going to do well in your ventures in the future.

Starting An E-Commerce Business
One of the biggest breakthroughs in the world of the Internet is the conception of the eCommerce business. What started originally as a small time operation where each Internet provider partnered with certain companies and billed purchases to the customers Internet bill has now exploded into a worldwide operation where people can buy everything from music to clothing to food to cars and even houses.
There is very little territory that has not been tapped but that does not mean that the market is saturated as it is with other markets because customers are fickle for the most part. Unless you offer something unique, the customer is going to continue to look around for a better price, different color or even different style.
The inception of the Internet has created a world of Internet addicts who may spend hours just trying to find a particular purse in a color that is exactly what they want. What does that mean for the would be entrepreneur? It opens a new opportunity for him to own his own business without having to concern himself with the expense of a brick and mortar store.
Instead of going into a store every day and being faced with irate customers, disgruntled employees and much more, you can sit and relax while people visit your website and purchase the products they want. There is no need for inventory but you may choose to have the more popular items available for immediate delivery.
Even better, you can partner with someone else and become a reseller and you do not even have to do the shipping and handling. The advent of eCommerce gives new entrepreneurs a choice in how they run their businesses and that of itself, means more opportunities for everyone. The advent of eCommerce also opened up more in the area of competition for online sellers.
Everyone knows that competition is good for business and it keeps competitors on their toes, always trying to out do the next retailer. That means each person in the business must perform to the ultimate edge if they expect to draw more sales than their competitors. Unlike the brick and mortar store, online shoppers are fickle and if they can not find what they want in one place at the price they want to pay, they will go to the next online store.
With so many online stores, customers do not feel the need to pledge loyalty to one retailer or reseller, so if you want repeat business, you need to offer service and prices that are unique to that of your competitors. Its not impossible to do but you have to be willing to do the work in order to make your eCommerce business better than that of others selling similar products.

Better Business Direction With Strong Strategies
After completing the Vision and Mission Statement portions of a Business Plan, the next step is to come up with strong strategies that will make the business successful.
Along with setting the direction of the creation and maintenance of your business, strategic planning establishes a guide for evaluating the important business decisions that must be made. With a clear set of strategies it is much easier to keep a business on track.
These strategies are sometimes thought of as "industry practices." If you are new to an industry, you can learn more about these practices and the challenges and opportunities you will face by reviewing industry trade association journals. This information is critical for you to build and manage your business successfully.
Another helpful resource for identifying and selecting crucial strategies are those who support your business. These include your banker, accountant, attorney, various vendors, and even your employees. They can all contribute valuable insight into your busines
Why reinvent the wheel by running into problems blindly when you can benefit from the experience of others?
Usually there are four to six core strategies that businesses follow in any industry.
They are easy to understand and are fairly stable over time. Naturally if there are significant breakthroughs or shifts in your business, you will need to reconsider your strategies. An example of this in the financial services industry has been the shift from commission to fee-based income structure.
There are both internal and external influences that are either affecting your business now or may affect your business in the future. We'll use Certified Financial Planners as an example as we look at external and internal concerns and possible strategies for handling those concerns.
External strategies capitalize on opportunities present that can help the company grow. They also look at possible outside threat
Concerns
Fee-based planners are living in the shadow of the commission-based brokers who often have conflicts of interest in the products they sell to their clients.
There is a lot of prejudice among the public that perhaps the client's best interest is not the major concern of any financial services person.
Some large firms have developed a negative reputation that can work against individuals working for those firm
Strategies
Education for consumers both individually and in the mass media is important for them to understand the difference between commission-based and fee-based practices.
Planners write articles for the local newspapers and state journal.
They do speaking to organizations and on the radio.
Their websites inform the public as to how they do busines
Internal strategies are those that relate to the company itself. They look at the culture of the business, its strengths, efficiency, and profitability.
Here are some examples of concerns faced by Certified Financial Planners that require some internal strategie
Concerns
Advisors who fail to identify priorities for their best productivity may not have good work/life balance.
Understaffing can prevent accelerated business growth.
Strategies
Analyze how time is being used and what tasks can be delegated.
Hire support staff either to work onsite or virtual assistants that can take over simple tasks.
Develop a system for various operations of the company so that others can take over tasks that you normally do.
Consider partnering with another business to offer more value to your client
Both external and internal strategies are critical for prudent planning.
Market leaders use strategies to achieve desired growth and profitability.
Even though the statements can be quite broad, they still create definite focus.
The bottom line of strategies is an answer to the question, "What will it take to sustain success in this business for the long haul?"
Get some strong strategies in place for better direction in YOUR business!

What To Wear On A Spring Evening - The Cardigan Is Back
I have a theory about women. It might not be the most popular or enlightened of theories so I'll say it quietly, but say it I will, because I see evidence to back up my theory everywhere I look.
My theory is that deep down inside of most women lies the heart of a square.
Before I'm pilloried for my comments, I ought to explain. I don't mean square in the way that Gwyneth Paltrow appears to be square, instead I mean that in fashion terms, women are masters (or should that be mistresses) at concealing the innate practicality of their purchases. Those expensive jewel-toned note books so popular at the moment? I reckon that they're really just a cover for the feminine obsession of to-do lists. The "I am not a plastic bag" that prompted women to queue three blocks to buy one? How you seen how much stuff you can get in there? Equally, a good proportion of even the most on-trend fashionista's wardrobe will have alongside the frivolous Vera Wang dresses, an area dedicated to the cardigan.
The Cardigan in it's various incarnations has been with us for quite sometime. Generally, the garment is credited to the 7th Earl of Cardigan, he of the famed charge of the light brigade and whilst the word Cardy might conjor up images of old men and slippers, the fact remains, they are the ultimate practical no-nonsense clothing item.
That's probably where the old-fashioned image comes from. The fashion world is almost the antithesis of practicality. Fashion is usually represented by bold statements, loud confident gestures ala Macqueen or Westwood, not by the apparent compromise of the cardigan.
But look around, there is something of a revolution beginning to happen. Amongst the young and trendy, cardigans are everywhere! There are several reasons for this, not least because they are perfect for women going out to dinner on a spring/summer evening unsure what to wear with a pretty dress. A coat seems a little over the top but bare shoulders risk a lecture from mum! So out comes the cardy.
There are some rules you should follow this season though. Chunky knits are a strict no-no, as are those patterned cardies last seen on the late Princess Diana. Also, and I hope you're taking notes, 90's cardigans aren't going to cut it either. Pretty as they might be, with their beads and their round necks, they are designed to be worn unbuttoned, covering the arms and shoulders but not the dress front.
This season's cardy is different, it's a fashion statement in it's own right, look for a deep V neck, large buttons and patch pockets. Versatility is the key, they should look as good over a silk blouse as they do over a statement t-shirt twinned with jean
A great example is the Gap cardigan, at around $40 it's a damn sight cheaper than a coat and shows off your Queen of Suburbia "Shoes Life" tee much better!

Mesothelioma Claims And Your Rights
Are you aware of the Article 3 in the Declaration of Human Rights made by the United Sates of America? Let's read out once again what exactly the Article states, "Everyone has the right to life." From the excerpt of this statement can you in some way relate the Mesothelioma patients with this human right?
The first point that can be deduced is that the Mesothelioma patients have every right to live. But more vital than this aspect is that the Mesothelioma patient has every right to claim for his life. Here comes the legal periphery under which Mesothelioma disease has been categorized. How?
The Mesothelioma patient is a victim of an unhealthy situation mostly at work places where use of asbestos is done in an abundant way. This is the primary route of the asbestos fibers' entry into the victim's body cells. After years the real reason of ailment is known when it has already taken the shape of cancer. So is the patient liable for this condition? Thus he has every right to fight for his life also in terms of law and justice.
The historical perspective
Mesothelioma case was first time put in front of law in 1929. This was the historical juncture when it was made clear by the US law board that if a person suffers from Mesothelioma cancer or any asbestos related disease, the person can file a case against that body or individual for whose negligence such consequence has taken place.
The present scenario
Well it is a happy news for the family members and also for the victims of Mesothelioma that the Senate Judiciary Committee of the United States has brought out an amendment in the "Fairness in Asbestos Injury Resolution Act of 2005" and a grant of $1.1 million was declared for the victim of Mesothelioma and the compensation will be given within a month's time. The World Trade Center attack issue was also brought into limelight during this decision and there were thousands of Mesothelioma victims just because of that devastating disaster.
Take your legal step now
You have the right to live and live it to its power and with your heads high. If you have not done anything wrong and paying your life for it, at least make sure that those who are behind such gruesome situation must at least be punished and penalized. Let them pay off in terms of compensation because they are liable for that.

The Potentials Of A Home Business Opportunity
There are many great aspects relating to starting up your very own home business. As the years progress, so does the number of home business ventures which are continually taking shape. It can consist of a wide array of products, goods and services and there is sure to be the perfect business out there for you. The important thing to remember is that there is true potential in the form of a home busines
Reasonable Start Up Costs
Many of these businesses can be started up for reasonable amounts of money. This makes having a home business a viable option for many, even those who may have a stricter budget than others. Depending on the type of business, one can often realize their dreams of owning a successful home business and not feel susceptible to breaking the bank on a weekly basis. It is vital that the individual contemplating this business venture consider all start up costs as this will help to determine if getting the business off the ground and running is possible.
Consider The Home Business Options
Another step to realizing the potential of a business is to consider all possible options relating to home business opportunities. If there are only a few categories of businesses which one feels comfortable dabbling in, then sticking with those choices and then selecting the best one is the right thing to do. On the other hand, for those Jacks and Jills of many trades, making a list of all the possibilities will help them to have as many options on the table as possible.
Appreciate The Other Niceties
One should also realize that by owning a business, there are many other niceties which go along with doing so in addition to an income. Those individuals who own their own business and work from home are able to have flexibility with day care, work hours and overhead costs. These are some of the reasons why home business opportunities are so popular these days and continue to increase in popularity as the years progress. In the past, one had to choose whether to have a job or stay home with the kids but today owners of home businesses are able to do both and do them very well. These opportunities are popular today and will undoubtedly be so long into the future as more individuals realize the true goldmines which these businesses really are.

Digital Videos Cameras Have Many Features
Digital video is a new technology that can be used and manipulated much easier than the old analog signal. This generic term is not to be confused with the name DV, which is a specific type of digital video. In the past video was recorded on tape but today with digital video it can be recorded on tape, DVD or straight to the hard drive of a computer. This generic term is not to be confused with the name DV, which is a specific type of digital video. Digital video can be processed and edited very easily today, special effects are easy to add with digital editing.
Digital video can also be edited on a personal computer which has the proper hardware and software. Regardless of software, digital video is generally edited and needs quite bit of disk space to store everything. Digital video is also used in modern mobile phones and video conferencing systems. The quality of the digital video is far superior to the analog counterpart.
Artistic people will claim that the quality of digital video is cold, that you don't have the warmth of the look of film images. But one thing is for sure. Digital video is here to stay, which means that our films of our 25th anniversary celebration are also here to stay.
These new cameras can record for several hours on end. The recording is done either on a small videocassette, blank CD or a DVD. Visuals are continuously recorded by these cameras and can be played on the screen.
Marketing videos with poor picture quality are likely to reflect a poor quality company in the mind of the viewer, so try to get the best quality video you can get. When people talk about interlacing they are talking about a special technique that improves the quality of the picture without increasing extra or more bandwidth. Using a camera that is analog you will need multiple tapes for long filming, but with digital video you need plenty of disk space to store all of the video. In the past when recording with tapes you will lose the quality of the recording when duplicating the information but with digital recording you do not have that problem plus the footage will last forever. Today many of the cameras come with many features that you only find in professional cameras. You can get better picture quality when using a more expensive digital camera.
When filming with a DVD format it will allow you to record right to digital disk, the other type of technologies are HDD and this allows you to record right to a hard drive. As the tape format is slowly being phased out by major manufacturers, it is a good idea to invest in disk or hard drive based digital video cameras. While this format is very easy to use and is supported by practically all software it is not efficient as there is no compression applied.
With digital video cameras today there are features that allow you to take low or medium quality footage to save space.

The greatest secret to getting an affordable airfare or best travel discounts is to know your budget and what do you really want. Additionally, you should shop and compare deals until you run out of options and choose the best among them.
And importantly, always plan ahead. Nothing is too early when it comes to vacation planning. This will give you ample time to search and choose.
Whether you're a business traveler or planning a family vacation, here are some travel tips to save you money and choose the best deal
1. Buy your ticket directly. Travel agents usually charge between $15 and $35 per ticket.
2. Buy your ticket all at the same time instead of buying one at a time. Booking fee may be discounted.
3. Booking for a package tour could be a wise choice for some destination
4. When planning a more complex trip, a travel agent can save you more time and money.

Mid-morning and late afternoon flights tend to be less crowded, plus you can really avoid commute traffic during this time. Should an Obese Person Become a Yoga Teacher?
There seems to be a stereotypical view of what a Yoga teacher should look like. Worse yet, there seems to be a preconceived notion about what a Yoga teacher should weigh. There are many reasons for this - Athletes, doctors, and exercise instructors are expected to be slim and trim. Hatha Yoga teachers are also expected to be role models of good heath.
This type of thinking will not change, but we can make the public aware that stereotypes are often wrong. Most of the adult population in the West is overweight. Some Yoga teachers also fall into this category.
Many adults can identify with the daily struggle at the plate and on the scales. Does this mean a person should go through a "weigh in," before deciding to become a Yoga teacher?
Consider this Any style of Yoga causes lifestyle changes. Yoga students, and Yoga teachers, make gradual changes that result in weight control. These are not the changes of "instant gratification" that we are so familiar with.
We are not talking about, "Losing 30 pounds in 30 days." The many "Yo-Yo" diets and weight loss pills can make those promises, but at what cost to your overall health? Life endangering weight loss products are a waste of money and an insult to your intelligence.
Then again, teaching most people to drink more water, eat more fresh fruits, fresh vegetables, and whole grains is not as easy as showing them the "new ultimate diet pill." The Yogic diet has been around for thousands of years, so it's "old news." Do you remember the saying, "Out with the old, and in with the new?"
People fall for the "new and improved," more than old and proven methods, until the hard data comes in. This is why people, who said Hatha Yoga was just another fitness fad, were terribly misinformed.

Over the years, I have seen people lose weight from a Yogic lifestyle change, but it is a very gradual process. Lifestyle changes, like Yoga, also result in weight loss that stays off.
Getting back to an obese person becoming a Yoga teacher does the public feel that he or she should go on a diet first? We are all guilty of classifying and itemizing, until it affects our perception of reality. Tolerance is a daily challenge for all of u
There are many good Yoga teachers who carry a few extra pounds due to any number of different reasons. The idea that a Yoga teacher should only be a young, thin, very flexible, super model, with a background in gymnastics, is a pure myth.
