Tips on How Entrepreneurs Start a Home Based Small Business
There are many ways by which entrepreneurs get on the road to success. Some entrepreneurs choose to take advantage of franchise opportunities and from there, move on to greater glory.
There are a lot of things that can be said about franchising. For one thing, franchise opportunities let you penetrate the market with an already-established brand name. People already know the product or service so you won't have to go through the trouble of making a name.
Of course, you have the responsibility to make a name for your business and not just the product. This means you'll have to sell yourself. After all, people can get the product or service from other franchises, so what makes you any different? You'll have to show them that you are different from other businesses even if your products are the same. You'll have to do your best to convince people that getting the product from you is the best decision that they can make.
If you don't think that taking advantage of a franchise opportunity is the thing for you, maybe you should consider starting a small, home based busines
A lot of budding entrepreneurs put up small home based businesses for different reasons. Here are some of them
1) Lack of funding - most entrepreneurs have small home based businesses because of the simple fact that, as a beginner, most do not have the funding to rent office space.
When you think about it, a small home based business is perfect for a budding entrepreneur. He or she actually gets to save money on the rent of commercial space. We all know how hard it can be to manage finances when you are starting a business, so saving all the money you can is a very good idea.
2) Convenience - for entrepreneurs, small home based businesses can be very convenient. When you think about it, they can stay at home all day and still make a living.
Entrepreneurs find small home based businesses convenient in other ways as well. Much legality is eliminated when you base your venture at home. Getting a lease on a commercial space may sometimes prove too complicated, as compared to having your business at home.
3) Customer base - some entrepreneurs start small home based businesses because of the fact that they may already have an established client base there. Some restaurants, for example, get started because of a person noticing that his or her cooking is very popular around the community.
Now, by starting a restaurant in the home, he or she would already have a customer base, willing to pay her for her cooking.
Many people know just how hard it can be to start your business as an unknown. By basing your business at home, you know that you will already have established connections and you know that people will find it more convenient to go to you for their need
Remember that you need to plan properly. Most entrepreneurs' small home based businesses fail because of poor planning. You need to learn how to separate your business finances from your home finances, and learn how to record each correctly.
In order for you to be able to properly handle your business, you might want to consult three people an Accountant, a lawyer, and an advisor. Between these three people, you can get the big picture of what to expect when running a small home based business as an entrepreneur.
You have to be strong. Many people can tell you that business and personal life don't mix very well. But history has shown that entrepreneurs with small home based businesses often succeed at becoming globally competitive.
Three nerds in a garage have as much chance at succeeding in a business venture as an executive in an office with a view. Technology today has made possible that all resources be within your grasp. All you actually need to do is find the will to take the first step.
There you go those are just some tips to get you started on that first step. By remembering to take calculated risks, you should be fine in getting your small home based business of the ground, entrepreneur.
What are you waiting for? Go!

Housebreaking And The Neurotic Dog
All dogs can be trained, the problem with training them isnt the dog it is the master, if your dog is neurotic, and his main problem in go is likely to be you.
Dogs neurosis may start when they are especial young, first off he was taken from his family and given to a giant that he didn't know.
Imagine living in a world where your best friend can pick you up by the neck and put you anywhere he wants you. In your world, you cant always sleep on the bed, but are relegated to the floor, which everyone knows isnt as soft as the bed!
You may even be asked to spend hours, even days, out in the cold, rain and snow. Neurosis begins to develop, and as the master of a neurotic dog it is your responsibility to effectively teach him, best of luck!
First you must remember that if a dog is neurotic, it will be difficult to teach him that following your commands, will make his life any better.
All he has to do is look around him to realize that he is the only one that is required to learn anything. He has never seen a cat being trained to sit, lie down or stay, but the flagellum still gets fed on a regular basis, as a matter of fact, his master seems to prefer the cat, this only increases his neurosis!
It is however plausible to train a neurotic dog, here is one example of this success. Monty, a 6 month old Labrador is taken down home to living with his new family, he loves to chew on books. Rather than punish Monty, his master comes to the conclusion that psychology would work better. He removes the books by putting them on a higher shelf, as Monty grows the books get put higher and higher.
In consummation, the hotelier moves his last few books to the top shelf of the closet. At last, Monty stops chewing on books, the training has been notable, however his master has also stopped rendering.
Chloe is a 2 year old chocolate lab, much loved by her family, and very mere to train, this is because of the amount of love she is given by her family. You glare, Chloe, like any other dog, will do anything to please the people she love
The first off lesson Chloe was given was her housebreaking, she was kept outside the first time she came home until she went to the bathroom.
This took the efforts of several family members but it showed her where she was allowed to go. When she was finally taken into the house, she was watched closely and whenever she started sniffing around she was taken back outside also.
At night she was put in a box next to her owners bed, where she was kept when there was no one available to watch her. She was taken outside just before they went to bed and as soon as they got up in the morning.
When they left home, if they couldn't take her with them, she was again taken outside to go to the bathroom and provide in the box, as soon as they returned she was again taken outside.
This took a few days, and there were accidents, but she away learned that if deb went to the door, girl could go outside and take care of her busines
Teaching her to sit was her succor lesson, her owner would sit on the tile and play with her, teaching her to sit was a combination of holding her toy up above her head, at this point she would sit down to keep the toy in her site.
She would also tell her to sit while gently pushing on her hind quarters, when she was successful she was praised and loved on, she learned this one very briskly too.
Her third lesson was to lie down, again on the floor with Chloe, her owner would tell her to sit, when she was in the sitting position, she would then tell her to lie down and gently pull her front legs out and push her front end down.
What this family now has is a very well trained dog, which everyone enjoys having around.

Natural vs Synthetic Not All Vitamins are the Same
There are literally thousands of vitamins and supplements available for purchase today. Each type of supplement such considering calcium, ginkgo biloba or multivitamins has many brands available made in a variety of different ways. Some vitamins are derived directly from natural sources such as oranges, oils, plants and vegetables. And for each vitamin available naturally, there is a vitamin pill available too.
Although the vitamin supplements claim to be the same, you may not be getting the amount of nutrients that you imagine you are getting. It's not to say that synthetic vitamins are inferior to their natural supplements, but it's important you the differences. Another important consideration is the fillers used in vitamin supplement pills. Some brands contain extra substances that you really don't need any may actually cause you more misuse than good.
Natural vitamin sources Natural vitamins sources are those that your body gets from fruits, plants, vegetables, animals and unsimilar natural sources. This is typically a very easy way for your body to process and absorb the vitamins you are looking for. However, if you do not eat a well balanced diet, your body may be deprived of certain vitamins. Natural vitamin sources may not be adequate in other instances too. For example, you may have an intestinal problem that prevents you from properly arresting nutrients. If this is the case you may consider supplementing with a vitamin pill to ensure you get your universal allowance of vitamin
Synthetic vitamin sources Although some supplemental are derived from natural sources, not all are. Many vitamins, like vitamin C, can be produced synthetically in a laboratory and have exactly the same structure. However, there are vitamins that are not the same, like vitamin E. Vitamin E has two different forms, one that is absorbed and used by the human body and one that is not. In the laboratory, chemists typically produce a vitamin E that is half good vitamin D and half not. What this means to you is that often times the vitamin pills you buy at the drugstore only give your build half the amount of vitamin E as indicated on the label.
Vitamin fillers Vitamin tablets typically contain a variety of fillers and while some of them are just pulchritudinous for you, you do need to be on the look exterior for others, or the risk of overdoing them. Soybean oil is a very common filler and very unhealthy filler found most often in gelcaps. Soybean oil can actually do more harm than the good of the vitamin because it is very high in trans fats ( these are the bad fats ) and can cause all sorts of heart problems as well being obesity. Another unnecessary filler to be on the lookout for is artificial color. Artificial colors have proven to be carcinogenic and many people are allergic to them too.

Dogs Emotions And How It Affects Aggression
There is always a cause for aggression, and hopefully a cure for it and it is positively preventable. A dogs instinctive desire to dominate is the main reason for a dogs intrusion.
They will always struggle to be the leader of the family, which to him is his pack. Aggression during training sessions must be dealt with instanter, he is ambitious your authority to teach him, and if not corrected immediately, it will cause problems later.
If as a fledgling, your dog growled and got what he wanted in that way, he was taught that onset got him what he wanted, and next time the aggression will be worse.
They need to be taught when very young that aggression is not acceptable. Dogs also need interaction with people and other dogs, if they are not provided with this, they will learn to lung at, growl and bark at them.
If a dog is beaten or abused, he leave learn to protect himself every time a hand is raised in his vicinity. Anything that is painful to a dog can teach him to be aggressive, and should never be used as a training tool.
With a fearfully aggressive dog, novice a course of gradual socialization and exposure to people and dog
Gradual is the key word here, never try to push your dog into socialization.

Some things a dog does are related to chagrin in his life and they need mental stimulation to response with these problems before they become really big problem
People always say that my dog feels what I feel, they dont know how true this is, a dog not only feels your anger and joy, he also feels your fear and your stres
When you fight with your spouse, you dogs feels the stress, when you come home from a frustrating day at the office, he feels that frustration, and may very well take the blame for this on himself.
Anyone, whom a dog has ever owned knows dogs have emotions, they can become depressed, when we are gone for any period of time they miss us and get lonely.
They will frequently get into trouble when we leave them alone because long periods of time, because they get bored, just like children.
It is our responsibility to insure their feelings and emotions just as it is our responsibility to feed and water them.
Dogs need mental training as well as physical training, tender loving care is the best mental background you can administer for you pet. Show them often and well how much they are loved and needed in your life.
Wisdom your dog is a wonderful way to spend time with them, and it has the added return of giving you a well - behaved, emotionally sound dog.
I cant tell you how many people have told me they would love to have my dog, she has been well trained and is a loving profitable dog. Her training started when she was 6 weeks old, once a dog is weaned they can start their experience.
When they are trained consistently from the time they are very young, they become the kind of dog anyone would like to have, loving, gentle and a stupendous deal of fun to be around.

The Alzheimers Association Has Many Purposes
The Alzheimer's Association has been formed with the intention to share, educate and strengthen the caregiver and family members of Alzheimer patient
On the part of the patient, the initial Alzheimer's symptom that can be very frightening is the realization that something is happening to their memory. Although simple forgetfulness is not the only Alzheimer's symptom to look for, but it reaches the degree as even forgetting the names of people that the patient sees often, then the condition is a possible Alzheimer's symptom. The Alzheimer's symptom starts off with slight memory loss and confusion. It then ultimately leads to severe and irreversible mental impairment if left to develop without any form of initial treatment.
The first two stages may last for four years. However, when this happens more frequently, the patient could already be in the third or fourth stage and this is just going to get worse. A simple example could be if the individual is unable to complete a simple task that was easily done in the past like doing some basic arithmetic.
People will definitely notice the changes. This is the reason some family members take shifts watching over the loved one or get a nurse to watch over the person.
Meanwhile, other research have associated trauma as a factor that increases the risk of acquiring the disease. There are also evidences which suggest that lack of exercise increases the risk factor of Alzheimer's. It is important to avoid high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and low levels folate in order to decrease the risk of developing the disease.
Within the course of the disease, the sufferer will go through a whole range of deterioration from slight short term memory loss to the loss of normal bodily functions that cause complications and infections that then turns into death.
What activities are done in the care facility? For starters, memory exercises will be done so the patient can still remember the names of the family members. A basic one will be through the use of flash cards that have the name and photo of the person.
The worse part about the disorder during this stage is that the person will act like a baby. Tantrums may be thrown but the worse part is seeing the patient defecate on his or herself. The caretaker will have to clean up the mess as though the person was an infant and are advised to use adult diapers, which is more convenient when cleaning up the mes
It is important to be on the lookout for early signs of Alzheimers if you or someone you care for is nearing the age of 65 or if there is known cases al Alzheimers in the family.
As a loved one of someone who has Alzheimers type dementia, it can be very hard and painful to witness the progressing of the disease. This may cause some negative emotions and a lot of grief that may be unwittingly projected at the patient.

Keep Your Sense Of Humor While Housebreaking
One thing I believe is that rubbing a dogs nose in poop doesnt do creature but cause him to be afraid of you, and to hide his mistakes. True, there will be mistakes, they are part of raising a dog, and the key is to make those mistakes as few and far between as possible.
I have commence amazing gravy train with the method I use, and it doesnt cause any worry or fear in the puppy, which is important. Here are the steps I use to housebreak a puppy
Always charter your new dog go to the bathroom outside before he ever goes in the house. This establishes pressure his mind where he can go to the bathroom. The next step is to establish where he cant go, which is in your home!
You have to stay in the yard with him until he goes to the bathroom for the first time this can take a while, but is naturally necessary in this training method.
I dont know how many times I have been asked how to housebreak a puppy that goes outside to play then comes notoriety the house to use the bathroom.
When you are in the house, pay close attention to what your puppy is doing, this will take the whole family. If the puppy begins sniffing around, take him outside again until he goes to the bathroom. This can be difficult as a puppy will automatically sniff around a new home.
When you go to bed at night or dispensation for any roll of time put your puppy in either a kennel, or a box that is just the right size for him to lie down in.
A dog will not use the bathroom where they have to sleep. Last thing at night before going to bed, take him frontage. First thing in the morning take him outside the same thing applies when you leave the house.
This is a lot of work, because you have to spend so much time with your puppy, but it is well assistance the time. Having a dog is a responsibility and a serious one, take the time to train him and you leave have a dog that everyone enjoys being around.
Trust me when I tell you there are two things you must remember when you are training your dog, these are
Patience, never bias in a expedite when you are training your dog, I guarantee he will pick up on your anxiety and employment learn a thing.
Keep your sense of humor it will really issue in handy during those unexpected training blurbs!
What exactly is a training blurb? Well lets see, its the time when you are teaching your dog to ferry a ball and he brings back the neighbors gardening gloves, with your neighbor still in them.
Or housebreaking him and you believe it has been successful, until you walk into the laundry room and realize that he has learned to hide his mistakes, in the laundry pile. These are training blurbs, and you must maintain a sense of humor about them.
You just continue with whatever lesson you are process on, or go back to the one he didnt actually learn the early time, like being housebroken.
Never loose your temper with him when he makes a mistake, it just reinforces the bad behavior, and he will pick up on the anger and frustration you are feeling. If you entertain mad and chase him, he probably thinks you are playing.
If you take away something he has chewed and give him a rawhide chew, he has learned that by chewing up your favorite shoe, he can get a treat.
Dogs are much smarter than most people give them credit for, and like children they are very literal, we need to be aware of this when we are training them, and keep a sense of humor and patience all the time, even during the worst of training blurbs.

What Type Of Commands To Use With Your Dog
Short clear commands along with obvious hand signals are the best means of giving your dog commands. Never repeat your command over and over again, it may only confuse him.
Start by getting his attention, this is best accomplished by saying his name. How you say the command is also important as is your expression, smile when you are pleased and don't grin when you are unhappy.
Your dog is smart enough to pick up on these things, and they should be used in his training. Your posture should be straight with shoulders back, the treat should be held in your closed hand hence he is aware it is sharp.
When calling your dog to you, show welcoming body language, arms open wide to welcome him, and a happy, friendly language all combine to let him know it is good for him to come to you.
Oral commands should be given in a firm voice, not shouted, say no sharply and deeply, in a lowered voice. The no command should be given as he begins to misbehave this makes him aware that what he is doing is the activity for which he is being told no.
For instance, if he begins to put his paws on you, lower your voice and firmly tell him no. In this, your body language is important, look angry and stand in a commanding stance, ( liking slightly over the dog is a threatening stance ), and you should stand straight.
Support signals should be clear and concise they allow you to control your dog even if he is at a area by calling his flag and using dramatic hand signal
A dog will pick up on it if you are becoming bored with a training session, do both of you a favor and be alert.
If you need to end the training session, get his attention, entrust him a power that he can and will follow, and release him from the training session with lots of praise and rewards. Dogs, like people, in some way try to live up to their image, just like a child their image of themselves is what you teach them it i
A dog that is trained with love, affection and attention entrust do anything in their power, and a little beyond, to please you.
They need attention and interaction with their family, you, to build their image of themselve
Self - confidence building is as important to your dog as it is to you, spend time with them, help them learn to trust you.
Another way to ravage your dogs self - esteem to tear them down, dogs are not stupid, they understand when you are talking about them in unflattering ways, and it affects them.
Yelling at a dog does no good, when training a dog, your voice should always be well modulated, not loud, and you should never have to yell at your dog to carry them to obey a command.
A dog that is well trained will respond to a whisper, and eventually hand signals. Yelling at them tends to make them nervous, and fearful of you, neither of these things is effective when tough to train your dog.
Training your dog should be pleasurable in that you and your dog, not a daydream! Dogs are sensitive and emotional, regardless of size, this needs to remain at the front of your soul any time you are titanic to train them.
Dogs only learn by their mistakes, blameless approximating humans do, how many things in life did you learn because you did it wrong the first time? Dogs are the same way, they learn by doing something wrong the first time.

How Jack O' Lanterns Came About
Halloween cannot do without jack o' lanterns. A jack o' lantern is a pumpkin whose interior has been removed and whose walls has been thinned out. It is carved into different designs with a light placed inside it. If brilliantly carved, the jack o' lanterns will evoke lifelike images within the mind of a close observer. That's why a lot of people enjoy them, placing them in the porches at the front of their houses visible for passersby. There are many carving competitions all over America open for jack o' lantern enthusiasts. In fact, these contests are the main event in most districts during Halloween.
How to make a jack o' lantern is just as interesting as its custom that seemed to have sprung out of an Irish folklore. And as the tale goes along, it is about a man named Jack who is not your usual kind main character. He was known to be infamous, let alone a chronic drinker. But he was just as intriguing as any other hero. The lore tells that Jack, one day, deceived the devil and trapped him up a tree. The devil, now his prisoner, appealed to Jack for his release. The wise Jack made a decision but not without a condition. He gave in to the devil's request for freedom with the promise that he will not be permitted to go inside hell when he die
Then Jack's time came. Because of his bad deeds, he was declined entry by heaven. Because of the previous agreement he had with the devil, he was not accepted into hell. Jack had no choice but to continue his search for a resting place. Scared of the cold darkness, he cored out a turnip and placed an ember inside it that way the paths he had to take will be well-lighted and the light would burn longer.
In observance to this tale, carving out a turnip and placing a light inside it became a habitual practice of the Irish people. They used turnips for a long time. However, a major change occurred when they migrated to America in the 1840s in their effort to flee from Ireland's potato famine. They switched from turnips to pumpkins because the latter fruit appeared to be more bountiful than the former, not to mention that pumpkins have a more ideal shape to contain light and have insides that's very easy to remove. Since then, jack o' lanterns were made out of pumpkins.

Avoid Grant Scams
The very idea of all of the ads that tell you that they have free grants to offer sounds too good to be true, and the fact is that in some ways it is. The ads claim that you will qualify to receive a grant for your business. They say your application is guaranteed to be accepted, and you never have to repay the money.
There is of course a catch that they don't mention. The Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the nation's consumer protection agency, warns you that money for nothing grant offers often are a scam the grant isn't free, it isn't guaranteed, and often, it isn't even available to you.
Some people actually market free grants in classified ads, which begin by inviting consumers to call a toll-free number. If you call, a representative of the company will ask you some basic questions to determine if you qualify to receive a grant, and some of these questions include
1. What's your address?
2. How long have you lived at this address?
3. Do you have a bank account?
4. Do you have at least $200 in your account at this time?
Next thing you know you are being asked to hold on the line while your eligibility is determined. After she congratulates you on your eligibility, she will ask you to pay a one-time processing fee that can range from anywhere from $100 to $300.
If you question this fee, you will then be reassured that the grant is guaranteed, and that if you're not COMPLETELY satisfied with your grant, you'll get a refund. However, she won't offer to tell you all the conditions for a refund.
The processing fee is said to cover finding a grant source and sending you the appropriate application package in the mail. However, you won't receive an application or a source. What you will get is a list of agencies and foundations to which you must write and request an application. This information is available for free at any public library or on the Internet.
Most sources of grant money don't give grants to individuals for personal need. Grants usually are given to serve a community good, such as bringing new jobs to an area, training young people, preserving a bit of history, funding soup kitchens or art museums, or researching medical issues.
If you ask an agency or foundation for money for personal reasons, you probably won't get it, even if you are financially needy. You are also not likely to get a refund from the grant broker because the conditions for a refund are nearly impossible to meet you usually have to apply and be denied by each person on the list within 90 day
If you're thinking about applying for a business grant, you need to remember that the applications are available to you for free and that anyone who guarantees you a grant is likely to be interested in their own gain, and definitely not yours. If you think you may have been a victim of a grant scam, file a complaint with the FTC.
The FTC works for the consumer to prevent fraud, deceptive and unfair business practices in the marketplace and to provide you with information to help you see, stop, and avoid them.
If you want to file a complaint or to get free information on consumer issues, visit ww.ftc.gov or call toll-free, 1-877-FTC-HELP (1-877-382-4357) TTY 1-866-653-4261.
The FTC will participate against Internet, telemarketing, identity theft, and other fraud-related complaints into Consumer Sentinel, a secure, online database available to hundreds of civil and criminal law enforcement agencies in the U.S. and abroad.

When To Train Your Dog And What Enticements To Use
Dogs have unquestionable short attention spans your training sessions should be limited to 15 to 20 minutes a couple of times a day. Never attempt to train your dog if either of you cant concentrate completely on the session.
The superlative time to administer a dog is when he is hungry, if he is a identical active dog, it may be best to allow him to run a bantam, and train him when he is a little tired, this does not mean exhaustion!
Stagger his lessons so he doesnt get bored, and refuse to get involved in the trainings sessions. Over a short term of time reduce the number of edible and physical rewards, always give verbal praise, regardless of how long he has been forbearance.
Following he has learned his lessons well in a quiet environment, gradually begin adding distractions and repeat the lessons. Once these lessons are completed indoors, move to a quiet location out of doors and repeat the lesson
Again, gradually growth the distractions as he shows success at the same lessons he has learned in each of the above situations. Now take him to a busy place and train him there, it may seem repetitive to go since the same lessons each future, but he needs to be trained importance each situation.
You can not guarantee that every time he needs to follow a command he will be in a quiet indoor place. Refusing to train in other situations is setting your dog up for future failure.
Training sessions should always be ended on a note of success, and with play time. Dont make the mistake of only playing with him when training time is over, he may decide to get the session over with quickly so he can get the play time.
Last but not least, training time is not exercise, or the only exercise your dog should get. He needs time to play with you and divergent dogs that are not connected to his training time
Constant encouragement is a requirement when you are training your dog. Food, treats, toys and praise and practicality are the rewards your dog should be given.
Punishment should never be physical, it is not necessary, he will respond much preferred to your relish and affection.
Dogs demand to please those they love, loving them in return you cede find an ease in training that will surprise you. Rewards should be along the following lines
Food, a tasty treat will go a tall way in rewarding your dog for his training successes. Hold the rapture above his nose to get his attention it is much easier to train a dog once you have his attention! Ration rewards are best used when your dog is hungry.
Your touch is one of your dogs favorite honours! They are very important in training. Praise him often during training, along with long strokes to his figure, do not make the mistake of patting your dog on the head, it is a dominant gesture and should never be used as a reward. Always stroke him along the length of his body.
Toys are another great training tool, it wont take protracted for you to find out which are his favorites. As an incentive show him the toy and beget eye contact with him by take the toy above his head.
One means of discipline is isolation this should only be done for a very limited time, a few minutes is sufficient, as it may cause him to feel as though he has been deserted.
He loves contact and communication with you, and being alone will make a big impression on him. Never link him up and relegate him to the backyard in that brio, it may result in aggressive even vicious behavior.
My favorite discipline is what I call the rattle, I dont remember where I learned this, but certain is a great forbearance material. Put 15 or 20 pennies in an old can and tape the top shut, a hyped up shake will make a league of sudden and unpleasant noise.
When a dog is misbehaving, an offensive surprise will put his attention on you and off what he is doing wrong. Plan to have several rattles around your home.

Yes, Leads Are Essential For Your MLM Business To Grow, But At What Cost?
If you'd like to put your business into profit and sustain that profitability, stop buying leads.
You might be advised by your company or by your upline leader to purchase opportunity seeker leads because they are the most responsive to your opportunity, stop that. Nothing can be further from the truth.
Just because you spend $5, $7, or $10 per lead does not mean that it is a quality lead or that this lead is dying to join you in business as it's often portrayed in this industry.
Let's think for a moment as a lead broker.
Your job as a broker is to sell leads as such you would want to present these leads in the best light possible in terms of the quality, their willingness to start a business, and in terms of their freshnes
If you knew for a fact that these individuals are ready to start a business with credit card in hand, why would you sell these leads to anyone when you know that you can become a distributor and put these eager entrepreneurs right under yourself in you own downline?
This hyped-up concept of a fresh, super-responsive lead is what you as a naive brand new distributor fall for and wind up pouring a large chunk of your budget on. People are not produce and to expect that a lead is going to spoil with time like a grape or a banana is just not accurate, it is more of a justification for the outrageous price these leads are sold for.
So, how do you grow your MLM business?
Growing a network marketing business demands that you learn how to
1. Find the right leads for your business.
Knowing how and what types of leads to purchase are essential components to bringing your products or your services to the consumer market place. The best leads to buy are the leads that ensure your residual income, you got it, consumer leads, not an opportunity seeker lead.
2. Create the leads yourself.
As you create the leads yourself, you can improve the quality of the lead by tailoring different offers that provide value to your prospects such as a report, access to your newsletter, a demo, special discounts, or the like.
3. Contact your target lead.
Whether you contact your prospects via e-mail or by phone, you need to develop the skills to grab their attention, hold their interest, get them to make a decision, and finally get them to take action on your products or service
4. Prospect correctly.
The best method to market your products or services is to develop a prospecting script that is natural and centers around the prospect who has the needs, desires, and wants for what you market.
5. Invite the prospect to consume your products.
To get your prospect to exchange his money for the value of the product depends on your ability to demonstrate leadership, be able to overcome his objections, and help him enjoy the benefits your product bring
6. Follow up on your lead even after he has become a consumer or a downline member.
You should have a proven system that a new distributor can just plug right in. You should be able to show him step by step how to get from point A to Z. You should have a reliable, cost effective way to join you in business. You should be able to show a new business partner how to reach and sustain profitability in his business.
These are pieces that are necessary to systematically grow your MLM business in order to reach success.
If any one of these pieces is missing, you are not capitalizing the way you should and you might spend your business out of existence. That's the biggest problem in the MLM industry. People are not given the proper MLM training as to how to bring a product or a service to the consumer and make the most effective use of leads, so their business is and remains in profit!
For instance, have you ever been shown how to track the cost of acquisition of a lead vs. the time value of this new consumer or business partner that will ensure the profitability of your MLM business? I would venture to say that most probably never, that's not what your MLM company training touches on because if it did, soon its distributors would come to the realization that 95% of them are failing miserably. However, as a business owner, knowing this information is a key component in your business.
Spending money on leads without the proper understanding of what to do once you get them is a sure way for you to join this 95% failure rate so prevalent in network marketing.

The Availability Of Internet Coupons
The Internet is the newest forum for advertisers and their ads. Because the Internet is a global network, advertising online can reach many more consumers at a fraction of the cost. One of the biggest and most effective advertising method is the use of coupon
Online Internet Coupons used to be paper, and they had to be located, clipped, and then redeemed. With Internet coupons, the redemption methods may vary. These may be Internet coupons for a free or reduced product, to let the consumer try the product and see if they like it. If this is the case then the coupon may need to be printed to be redeemed.
Another Internet coupon is a coupon that is used online at a virtual store or website. These are usually an e-mail or text with a coupon code included. When you order, you simply use your online coupon code as a payment method.
Both coupon types are widely available for users on the Internet. Whole web industries revolve around coupons. There are websites that you can join, and then you have access to thousands of coupons that can be printed and redeemed. Other websites offer discounts, like 10% or 20% off your order if you place an order with that website. There are thousands of each type of website on the internet.
No matter what type of coupon you are searching for, the odds are good that if a product is manufactured there is a coupon for it on the Internet. Try typing in a product name along with the word coupon, and watch how many coupons come up for one product. There are free product coupons, discount coupons, coupons for samples, and just about any other coupon type or brand imaginable.
In the economy today, even cents can add up. If there are coupons available, why not use them and save some dough? The wide variety and availability of coupons over the Internet guarantees substantial savings if the coupons are utilized. And modern coupon clipping is not like it used to be, especially online. All it takes is a trip to a coupon website and the time to choose which coupons are right for you. Most of these websites have hundreds, if not thousands, of coupons available to be printed and used. Think of what you could do with the money you save on coupons, especially over the course of a year.

The Balance Board
A balance board is a piece of equipment which is used for fitness exercises and athletic training. Its main concern is to improve the user's balance, coordination skills and weight distribution. This is a popular device for athletes of all sports and for those who undergo rehabilitation after an injury. The balance board is made up of a platform on where the user can step on. The platform is attached to an unstable stand. When the user stands on the platform he keeps his balance to stay up the board. The balance board comes in four different types. These boards move in fairly different intensities and direction patterns depending on the board type that will be chosen to be used.
There are basically four types of balance boards, these are the rocker board, the wobble board, the rocker and roller board and the sphere and ring board.
The rocker board is the most basic form of the balance board. Its construction is simple. A bar is attached across the bottom of the board. More like a rocking chair concept, the user can find the center of his balance by putting his feet on an end to end position on the board. The tilt area of the board is just on a side to side basi
The wobble board is constructed in such a way that its main purpose and concept is to "wobble". The board is circular in shape with a semi sphere under the center part of the board. With this design, the board is allowed to make rotations in a wider range, allowing its tilt area to be both forward and backwards and sideway
The rocker and roller board is a higher version of the rocker board because instead of the rocker's fixed pivot under side gear, it is replaced with a cylindrical roller making it possible for the board to tilt sideways as the user's weight hits the area.
The sphere and ring board is the most flexible among all the balance boards ever made. The underside is attached to a sphere which is in a ball like form making it have the most freedom of movements possible. The stopper of the ball is the ring, when the ball hits any part of the ring, its stops rolling. The bigger the ring, the wider will be the freedom of tilts and movements possible.
The balance board is not only for fitness purposes but also for the use of rehabilitation aids for children and adults alike.

There Are Some Things That Can Slow Down Alzheimers
Although nothing has been proven yet, some studies show that doing mental tasks can actually slow down the progression of the disease. For instance, patients who love to answer puzzles and play mental games like chess are slower in their progression compared to other patients with the same degree and case of Alzheimer. Because of this, some scientists believe that Alzheimers can be prevented through the use of the mental process.
There are more than four million people in the United States that are diagnosed with this disorder. This number will definitely grow in the years to come as more and more Americans will reach the retirement age.
Alzheimers disease is a degenerative problem characterized by memory loss as well as loss in thinking skills. It is actually part of a constellation of memory and brain problems called dementia. It can lead to behavioral changes, loss of language skills, disorientation, confusion and increasing dependency. Most experts believe that Alzheimers is caused by a problem in the genetic make-up and is often associated with old age.
Unbelievably, one out of ten people over the age of 65 have Alzheimers disease. In fact, in a recent statistic polls, almost 19 million Americans suffer one way or the other from this dreaded progressive disease. Below are some information that you will find useful about the disease.
During the early stages of the disease, the symptoms are less noticeable and are often times left unchecked and considered trivial by family members and even the patient themselves. Among the early and classic signs Alzheimer's disease is the gradual loss of short-term memory.
Living with someone who has Alzheimer's can be compared to taking care of a toddler. This is because the person will touch anything in sight and might even get hurt in the process. The best thing to do is to take make sure there is no clutter in the house and items that are deemed unsafe are hidden from view.
Despite the present lack of Alzheimers treatment and cure, hope should never be abandoned. After all the technological advancements that have been made in the field of science and medicine, it probably won't be long before the proper Alzheimers treatment and cure will be discovered.
As of yet, there is no single definitive test that is able to determine if one has Alzheimer's disease. But it is really a battery of testing that is available that makes it possible for physicians to diagnose Alzheimer's with about 90 percent accuracy. Such battery of tests can take anywhere from one day to several weeks in order to ensure accuracy and the proper diagnosi
Patients who are diagnosed with the disorder will probably live more for 8 more years. This will really depend on how strong the person is because some have lived for 3 while others have fought with it for more than 10 years.

Alzheimers Effects on The Brain And How It Effects The Aged
One could assist the person to engage in activities like supervised gardening, singing, cooking, painting and drawing as long as routine is established. It is very important to engage in these activities on a regular basis for this could help the person establish a sense of stability.
People who are not much into mental pursuits or work that do not much involve mental strains will also most likely develop the disease compared to people who often stretch their mental muscles. In fact, one of the way to prevent the onset of dementia is to exercise the brain all the time especially during old age.
The root cause of this phenomenon in Alzheimer's disease remains unclear and is still under study. This degeneration of the brain tissues causes a steady decline in memory as well as a steady loss of essential mental abilities responsible for thought, memory, and language. More than four million of the older population in the US is known to be stricken with Alzheimer's disease. The number of people suffering from this debilitating condition is expected to triple within the next 20 year
Less frequent observed side effects of the drug are headaches and dizziness with rare cases of patients suffering from anorexia, gastric or duodenal ulcers, gastro-intestinal hemorrhage, bladder overflow obstruction, liver damage, convulsions, heart problems and psychiatric disturbances while using Aricept as medication.
Alzheimers and dementia are attributed with progressive memory loss and other functions that are attributed to brain deterioration. Natural brain atrophy and cognitive function loss is a normal experience by humans as we age. However, Alzheimers type of dementia is way beyond that of what is considered the norm.
While memory loss is commonly mentioned as the one of the early signs of Alzheimers, it has been noted that unexplained and sudden weight loss usually occurs within individuals who suffer from Alzheimers. They have found that the weight loss happens way before any actually memory loss begins.
Loss of correct judgment will inadvertently follow as the Alzheimers type dementia progresses so it might be prudent for patients to be supervised all the time. Eventually, patients will have to depend exclusively on specialized care for all their needs. This makes it important for patients and their loved ones to choose the right facility for this process.
Alzheimers affects that part of brain that control thought, memory, and language, it is one of the most common form of Dementia (destruction of brain cells to cause decline in mental functions)but later it spreads to all regions of brain rendering it ineffective. The onset of Alzheimer slowly progresses and alters personality and behavior. In most cases anxiety, suspiciousness or agitation, as well as delusions or hallucinations are observed to be the few changes that is caused by the disease. Memory and thinking process are marred in the initial stages of Alzheimer. It is one of the rising causes of death in elderlies, as patients diagnosed for this disease barely survive more than six years. But the duration of the disease vary between three to twenty year
The hallmark sign associated with Alzheimer's disease is the gradual loss of memory especially in people of 65 years and older. Although forgetfulness is a sign of the said disease, it should also be noted that there are other signs that may also indicate the onset of this ailment. Before coming up with your own conclusions, it is best to know more about Alzheimer's through its exhibited signs, how it can be diagnosed and how it will eventually affects the sufferer.

How Alzheimers Changes Personality
Personality change is an Alzheimer's symptom that presents itself as the gradual development of mood swings, distrust, stubbornness and eventual withdrawal from the patient's usual social circle. Depression is also a coexistent Alzheimer's symptom alongside with growing restlessness. In its severe form, the Alzheimer's symptom further develops into anxiety, aggressiveness and inappropriate behavior.
Old age is not a reason to stop learning new things. You can learn a variety of things, dancing, cooking, singing, a new language, crafts, the arts. There are so many things to choose from. Don the things that you have not done before, things that you never thought, you'll be doing. Your age should not be hindrance to the things that you want to do.
One could trace back the history of Alzheimer's disease from a presentation and lecture made by a German psychiatrist in 1906 during 37th Meeting of Southwest German Psychiatrists held in Tabingen.
What is known for a fact is that individuals begin to become susceptible to the disease at the age of 65 and above. It is also known that Alzheimers disease attack the brain and causes an abnormality there, which in turn causes the loss of normal functions in the body.
Age is known as a risk cause of Alzheimer's disease. As a person ages, the likelihood that he or she will develop Alzheimer's also increases. The average age of diagnosis for Alzheimer's is about 80 years old. Gender is also seen as involved in the development of Alzheimer's disease, but studies for this may still be inconclusive. The reason as to why the risk is seen to be greater in women is that they tend to live longer than the men.
Alzheimers will rob one of the ability to do the things that used to come second nature to them. It is as if the individual with Alzheimers can no longer remember or are familiar with tasks or actions that used to be part of their everyday routine. Watch out for this telltale sale that is quite an indicator included in the early signs of Alzheimers disease.
Some states have nursing homes and reputable home care facilities to treat the patient. There are numbers in the directory as well as in the Internet that people can inquire.
The Alzheimer's symptom will further lead to degeneration of a person's ability to remember, reason, learn and even imagine. The Alzheimer's symptom of forgetfulness can include the names of family members being forgotten as well as familiar everyday objects such as a comb and mirror.

Not All Alzheimers Symptoms Are Caused By Alzheimers
One, however, should not conclude that all memory loss is caused by Alzheimer's disease. There are two basic causes of memory loss, namely normal or age related memory loss and the abnormal type. It is normal that middle age and older people begin to forget a number of things. Their ability to remember is often times measured on a standardized scale.
Alzheimers and dementia are strongly linked because Alzheimers disease is the most common type of dementia. Dementia is the constant evolution of the atrophy of the brain's cognitive functions. In the case of Alzheimers, abnormal protein build up happen in the brain which interferes with its normal functions through interactions with the brain nerves and neurotransmitters that cause these elements to whither and die.
One of the most dreaded diseases in old age is Alzheimers disease. Although unlike cancer and heart problem, this is actually not fatal. In fact, people with Alzheimers can live for a long time with proper care. That is actually the problem most of the time.
Diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease can be done through a series of tests. The patient exhibiting some signs of the disease must undergo a variety of laboratory tests, such as physical and mental assessments. As of late, there is no known single test available that will effectively diagnose Alzheimer's in patients.
Should the patient manage to get out, the second fail- safe will be to attach a bracelet or a card. This will make it easy for someone to return the person home or be informed where the sufferer can be picked up.
The most common symptoms of Alzheimer's are loss of memory, the decline of intellectual functions and sudden changes in personality. At the first stages of the disease, symptoms exhibited are patients becoming easily tired, upset and anxious.
Alzheimer's disease is considered the 7th leading cause of death in the United States in 2004. The death toll continues to rise every year. The disease is the third most costly in the U.S. Heart disease and cancer are the first and second most costly respectively. It is recorded that there 24 million people with dementia worldwide, the figure will more than double by 2040.
Aside from the early symptom of memory loss, Alzheimer's disease at the early stage could also change the patient's behavior. And as the disease develops, the patient will loose more and more control over body functions such as affecting the way the person thinks and respond. With the effects on the brain's cognitive functions, the patient will have trouble talking, will find skilled movements troublesome to do and hard to accomplish, and will start slowing down in terms of movements.
When it is on its later stages, language problems may also happen because of the inability of the person to recall words that are appropriate for what they are going to say. The disease may also result to behavioral changes because of progressive memory loss. There are some patients who don't remember how to go about their normal functions such as eating, sleeping or brushing their teeth. Some may even forget how to breathe.

A Synopsis of Alzheimers' Causes and Effects
One precaution often being taken is for the patient to wear an ID card in the neck or placed in the pocket. This contains the name, address and contact person of who should be called when this happen
Although there are cases of Alzheimers that affected people in their 30s, most patients are over the age of 65 and a vast majority is over the age of 85. In addition to old age, experts believe that a family history of the same problem or of dementia may predispose someone to the disease. This is because experts pinpoint a defect in the genetic make up of the person who has Alzheimers disease.
Within the course of the disease, the sufferer will go through a whole range of deterioration from slight short term memory loss to the loss of normal bodily functions that cause complications and infections that then turns into death.
Meanwhile, other research have associated trauma as a factor that increases the risk of acquiring the disease. There are also evidences which suggest that lack of exercise increases the risk factor of Alzheimer's. It is important to avoid high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and low levels folate in order to decrease the risk of developing the disease.
that it can be identified early and the treatment is started without any further delay. Though there are no particular medical examination to conclude the disease but various tests (including physical and mental) and reviews from family and friend can benefit in diagnosis of the condition. Depression, hormonal changes such as thyroid and side effect of medication act catalyst for those who suffer from the disease and also makes prone to those who don't. Excessive drinking, unhealthy lifestyle and improper diet can also propel Dementia.
That is the sad fact about aging. Things will slow down and eventually, little by little, disappear.
Alzheimers information tells us that the course of the disease varies from person to person with a range of five to twenty years. Alzheimers eventually ends in death due to complications and infections.
People who are not much into mental pursuits or work that do not much involve mental strains will also most likely develop the disease compared to people who often stretch their mental muscles. In fact, one of the way to prevent the onset of dementia is to exercise the brain all the time especially during old age.
Loss of judgment is an Alzheimer's symptom that prevents the patient from solving everyday problems and doing simple tasks like cooking on the stove. This Alzheimer's symptom in its extreme form will lead to difficulty with anything that requires planning, decision-making and judgment.

This Is An Exciting Time To Consider Mp3 Portable Players
Today you can purchase Mp3 portable players in many different styles that can play many hours of music all stored in a small compact package much smaller and more portable than the Walkman. These portable players use digital technology to shrink down the size of the music file so you can store more songs in less space. When you own an Mp3 portable player you can literally carry around your entire music collection wherever you go. A modern day portable Mp3 player continues its evolution from being a plain audio player into a fantastic modern day device.
It is still somewhat amazing that you can take all of your music everywhere you go in something so small. Some Mp3 players are about the size of a matchbook while the larger sizes may be about the size of a pack of cigarettes. With so many songs stored in something so small you may think you will have a hard time finding the music you want to play. Most of the players have a very simple clear way to find your song you want to play and as a bonus some of the popular brands include FM radio and a voice recorder.
The development of tiny hard-disk drives allows these Mp3 portable players to store a lot of music making it possible to save entire music collections onto a digital audio player at a reasonable cost. The other type of storage is flash memory, which is usually smaller and often does have as much storage capacity as the models with hard drives. For the more active type of person often a flash type storage device is a better fit because it is smaller and sometimes more robust.
Deciding which type of Mp3 player to purchase is often a hard choice because there are so many different makes and models. You need to do your homework before making a decision on the right model for you. It would be wise to read as many different reviews as you can. Compare prices and features and get in your head what features you want and need. Check out as many web sites as you can and possibly read something like Consumer Reports to get information you can rely on.
The simple Mp3 portable players continue to grow every month. It has gone from something to listen to music on into a full-blown media center. As time goes on you can expect this evolution to thrive. With modern technology growing every day the compression rates of audio and video is sure to improve. This is an exciting time to make the move into digital technology.

Think Twice Before Taking Lipitor
Atorvastatin, marketed under the trade name Lipitor, is used for lowering cholesterol. Atorvastatin inhibits the enzyme located in hepatic tissue that produces mevalonate, a small molecule used in the synthesis of cholesterol. This lowers the amount of cholesterol produced which in turn lowers the total amount of LDL (low density) cholesterol. In 2005, Lipitor sales totaled $12.2 billion, making it the largest selling drug in the world at the time.
Atorvastatin is indicated as an adjunct to diet for the treatment of hypercholesterolaemia. In a clinical trial, after 2 years, a relative risk reduction of 16% in the primary end point rate (death, heart attack, unstable angina, coronary revascularization, or stroke) was seen in patients receiving intensive treatment with the drug. The benefit of intensive treatment was apparent, in some instances, within 30 day
If you have high cholesterol, chances are your physician has already talked to you about Lipitor. Doctors like to prescribe it because it works quickly and easily. However, you need to understand the risk consequences associated with taking these sorts of drugs, because there is a potential for dangerous and sometimes permanent side effects. Some patients have suffered severe health consequences and were not adequately forewarned by their doctor
Some of the more well known side effects associated with drugs known as statins (statins is the scientific classification for drugs such as Lipitor) include liver damage, sexual dysfunction, and peripheral neuropathy. But there have been other studies that have revealed other subtle problems that develop within the patient, which can have huge ramifications for the health of that patient later in life.
In a study performed by Finnish doctors, doctors assessed the effects of the statin drug Zocor on 120 men ages 35 to 64. All of the men had high cholesterol levels, ranging from 232 to 309. One group of men was told to maintain their current diet, while the other group was required to reduce their daily intake of saturated fat to less than 10 percent of total daily calories, and to keep their daily cholesterol consumption below 250 mg.
Then, each of the 2 groups was divided into 2 subgroups. One subgroup would take 20 mg of Zocor per day, while the other group received a placebo. This was continued for 12 weeks, at which point each subgroup switched so that the subgroup that had been receiving the placebo would receive the Zocor for the next 12 weeks, and vice versa. At the beginning of the clinical trial, and after the first 12 weeks, as well as at the end of the second 12 weeks, the cholesterol, blood pressure, insulin, and weight of each patient were measured.
The Zocor clearly worked, because it decreased cholesterol levels by 20.8 percent, while diet alone only decreased cholesterol by 7.6 percent. However, there was an astonishing finding. It was discovered that the drug increased fasting serum insulin levels by 13 percent, and decreased serum concentrations of important antioxidant vitamins by as much as 22 percent. This was a huge revelation.
Decreased insulin sensitivity can lead to a whole host of problems down the road, such as blindness, diabetes, and kidney disease. And antioxidants protect us from a whole host of problems, such as organic brain disease, cancer, and atherosclerosis. So, even though these cholesterol drugs perform a valuable function (lowering cholesterol), they can cause a whole range of other problems and diseases that can make a patient severely ill later in life.
So, you should think long and hard before using cholesterol-lowering drugs. The aforementioned side effects may not be equally severe in all people who take the medication. However, you might be better off working closely with your doctor to develop a program of diet and exercise before using drugs like Zocor or Lipitor to lower your cholesterol.

Affiliate Internet Marketing Goes Hollywood
In the movie Jerry Maguire, Cuba Gooding Jr uttered the phrase that has now become part of our lexicon Show me the money. Whether intentional or not, every person involved in affiliate internet marketing is thinking the same thing. That is understandable. Unfortunately, many people spend their time looking for the good fairy of affiliate business. That magic product or service (courtesy of central casting) that will explode their bank account instantly, without having to do much work. This may explain why the majority of affiliates do not make any money. They do not treat their business like a business.
With the emergence of blogs, video and Web 2.0, marketers have more tools to reach their target audience. However, there are still some old school techniques you should be using in your production.
1. One Site-One Product
Ever went to an affiliate web site that is offering a ton of different products? For most people too many choices lead to confusion. It also increases the chance your potential customers will simply click to another site.
The point of one affiliate web site per product is to limit the choice of your visitors to either buying, leaving their contact information or clicking away from your affiliate site.
Place a review on your website along with testimonials from people (get their photos if possible) who have used the product or service. You can find previous reviews of the product you are affiliate advertising by searching ezines and article directories but it is best to write your own. The keys are to
a. Write a good headline
b. Showcase the benefits
c. Fill each paragraph with just enough information to get your visitors to keep reading
d. A call to action
Make sure it does not come across as a blatant sales pitch. Walk your visitors through understanding the product and how it affects them directly.
2. The Free
According to Overture 357,000 people per month search the internet using only one keyword free. You can get some of that action. Offering a free report is a terrific affiliate marketing tool. Place it at the top of your website so visitors cannot help but see it. You can also offer it to your opt in email list and invite them to pass the report along to others. Make sure your name and website are branded on the report.
3. Targeted Traffic
There are any number of ways to drive visitors to your affiliate web site. The question is once they get there will they be interested in your offer?
I mentioned before you should write your own product reviews. You should also write articles as well. Not only will it get you noticed but you can also find specific article directories, blogs, ezines and forums where your target audience is most likely hanging out.
Try to write at least 1 article per week of about 400 to 600 words in length. This is a great way to bring targeted traffic to your affiliate web site immediately and for many years to come. Article marketing combines useful information, free advertising (without looking like one) and marketing viral into one powerful package.
Using these tips can help you get through the maze of affiliate internet marketing and create multiple streams of steady income. Focus on building an affiliate business first so that when you tell merchants to show you the money, they will.

Online vs. Traditional High School Diplomas
The use of the Internet has been increasing since the early 1990s, and it is affecting practically every aspect of life, and every sector of the economy. It has greatly affected the average human being and has made life much more convenient and simpler. The Internet has also had a profound impact on education. It has redefined and enhanced the educational system. Earlier, when someone wanted to get an education, they would have to attend classes for a minimum of four years. But this was not suitable for everyone.
Those who wanted to get educated, but had other important things to do, like pursuing a career or looking after the family, had practically no choices. So, most of these people had to drop out of high school and lose their chances of becoming graduates. This had an adverse affect on their job prospects and wages. However, these days there are formal educational courses available on the Internet. Hence, now it is possible for a student to get a school diploma from the comfort of his or her own home, irrespective of the current lifestyle.
The big question
The big question that you need to ask yourself is whether you want to get an online high school diploma or a traditional school diploma. Another important question is if an online school diploma is better than a traditional school diploma. To decide which the better option is, you will have to go through a list of pros and cons of online high school diploma vs. traditional school diploma. Traditional school diplomas may be suitable to some people. Especially those who have earned scholarships and can afford to devote the time and money of going to a traditional school. However, the obvious drawback is that many people just do not have the time to attend regular classes, and set aside four years in order to get a diploma.
The best option then is getting an online high school diploma. This is suitable for those students who are looking for a flexible option of pursuing an education, while handling their career alongside. For example, if your job requires you to travel, and you cannot attend classes or submit homework, then getting an online school diploma is the best, wherein you can study while you travel and submit your homework online.
You can study on the move, as long as you have a laptop and a reliable Internet connection. You just need to be disciplined and dedicated enough, as there will be no one to motivate you, like there would be in a traditional high school scenario. About the only downside of this kind of education is that you cannot enjoy the lifestyle of the traditional school, which includes a lot of extracurricular events and activities. You also will need to check the accreditation of the online school, as this is important if you want to pursue college education.
No right answer
Like in every debate, there is no right answer about whether to opt for attending regular classes, or getting educated online. The only right choice is the one that will be the most suitable and beneficial for you. It is important that you take into account your current situation and your needs before you make the choice.

Handle the Home Break-In With Your Trusty Flashlight
There is nothing more frightening than hearing a strange sound in the night. How do you investigate the bump in the night as safely as possible? What should you do to keep your family safe? I want to give you solid tips developed over years of tactical military and law enforcement training on how to safely investigate occurrences in the dark.
The most important thing that I can emphasize to you is to call the police. Investigating potential break-ins is their job and sworn duty. You pay for this in the form of taxes. So if you hear that odd sound in the night and you think someone could be trying to enter your home or property, call the police.
Now, if you are anything like me, you hate calling the cops. I won't sit hear hovering over my keyboard and try to relay to you that this is a good trait. It is a foolish macho behavior. Unfortunately, I am stricken with this silly macho curse.
I have been in military and law enforcement for quite some time. Even with this background, I should not hesitate to make that 911 phone call. But, I do.
So, if you have decided to take the Lone Ranger approach to investigating those bumps in the night to protect your home, allow me to give you some expert tips. These tips are more tactical than anything. What I am going to tell you is a combination of tactical military and law enforcement training adapted to my personal preference and style. These tips are not designed to defeat an intruder simply to investigate and determine if help is needed.
I do not encourage apprehending intruders! Do not try it. Let the pros do this. All you should be doing is ensuring that there is in fact an intruder present, gain information about this intruder and contact the authorities.
The first thing that goes into anything you do in life is to prepare and plan. I will not get into depth on planning in this article. Stay tuned, I will be going into depth in a future article on planning your home security.
Now, the quick and hasty plan should include flashlights placed strategically throughout your home. You do not have to spend a fortune on flashlights. You can purchase some fair priced lights just about anywhere. I would caution you on going too far to the cheap side though. You do want a flashlight that is reliable.
You should ensure that your lights have spare batteries and bulbs stored in the same location. If you have three flashlights stored about your house, ensure that there are three sets of batteries and bulbs stored with them.
You should emphasize to your family and any inhabitants of the home that these are emergency flashlights. If removed, it is imperative that they be replaced. A weekly or bi-monthly inspection of the lights should be completed.
I would recommend storing your flashlights in the kitchen, living room and master bedroom at the least. We spend the majority of our time in these location
Ok, the let's move on to the nitty gritty.
You are in bed with your spouse. The kids are long asleep, finally. You are snug in your pillow waded up beneath your head. The cat is at the foot of the bed in a good spot not to be in the way of your feet.
Suddenly, you hear a faint noise downstairs. For some reason, this noise raises your instincts to a heightened level. You are wide awake.
Always follow your instincts. They were given to us for survival purposes. Instincts keep us alive. Do not allow yourself to second guess. It takes little time to simply investigate.
You look over at your spouse who is still sleeping soundly.
Another bump at the backdoor widens your eyes. You are not certain, but it sounds like someone may have entered.
At this moment, you should awaken your spouse. Immediately call the police or have your spouse do it if you are prepping to investigate.
You should never hesitate to awaken your spouse. It is always wise to have two sets of eyes and ears involved in the security of your home.
Now, I want to warn you sternly. Criminals that break into homes at night when they believe that occupants could possibly be present do not mind harming you. Keep that in mind. Be prepared for the worse at all time
Again, I told you to call 911. However, the Rambo in all of us wants to take care of this on our own. I do not advise this, but if you do so anyway, pay attention to the following guidance.
Ensure that your flashlight is in your off-hand. What is an off-hand? This is the hand that you use the least. If you are right handed, the flashlight goes in your left. Do not click the flashlight on at this time.
Walking about in the dark with an illuminated flashlight is what some of us in the tactical business would call a Jedi. You are bumping about with your light saber on full glow. Everybody and their favorite dog can see you, but you can't see them. Not good.
So, keep that flashlight off. This will also maintain your night vision. The bad guy down stairs will most likely be operating in the dark. He will have is night vision in place. You don't want to be the only one blind in the dark. That is bad new
Move cautiously. Do not be in a hurry. When we are scared and operating on adrenalin, our fine motor skills are almost non-existent. Your brain is focusing on keeping you alive by taking in every vision, sound and odor. The mind looses its ability to focus on your balance and such.
The flashlight should be gripped underhanded and held at about hip level away from your body. Let me explain why you should hold the flashlight away from your body. If our uninvited visitor is armed with a firearm, and you hit him with your flashlight beam, he may shoot. Instinctively, he will aim at the most obvious the source of the light beam. So, keep it away from your vital
While moving in the dark, utilize your peripheral vision. Peripheral vision is very aware of movement. If you notice a movement to one side, do not immediately turn to face it. Rapidly turning your head will cause you to loose focus of what you have seen.
The tactical way to investigate seeing movement in your peripheral is by coming into a crouch. This will make your body into a smaller target should something be assessing you. Freeze in place. Continue to utilize your peripheral to examine the movement for a few more moment
If there is no further movement from the earlier alert, turn and observe. Make these movements slow and deliberate. Eliminate rapid motion and the appearance of surprise. Seeing something with you peripheral vision is always worth investigating. So, do so.
The most frightening of the investigation is the encounter. When you come upon the intruder, prepare yourself to be assaulted. To do this, keep your empty hand, or weapon hand at chin level to protect your face. This also keeps your defensive strong-hand in position to engage if necessary. Chin level is optimal. The reason being is that your motor skills are diminished. You should be able to see everything you do in a tight box right in front of your face.
Keep your flashlight away from your body and light up the target intruder. You should close your weak eye before doing this. This will preserve your night vision in one eye should the flashlight be knocked from your grip and shut off. Ensure that your light beam hits the intruder dead in the pupils stripping him of his night vision.
Immediately, turn on any lights within the area

Biodiesel Testing - Quality and Purity Testing Increase Confidence And Assure Results
Biodiesel and biofuel production is growing at an exponentially increasing rate as new test-bed plants and full production facilities are being approved every month across Europe, Asia, and the Americas.
At present, biofuel production is considered experimental, and compared with other fuel production techniques, the total output is still very low. Feedstock supply lines are therefore quite limited, either being sourced from widely distributed waste products of other industries, or from niche crops like canola, a relatively new rapeseed cultivar. This creates a problem for both major and minor biodiesel producers, who have the daunting task of producing homogeneous, high quality fuel sourced from feedstock of varying and ultimately unknown purity and content. The market has responded to the demands of these new industries to supply quality assurance biodiesel testing equipment for every production scale.
Given the climbing public awareness of global warming and strains on global energy output, governments and corporations around the world are fronting the expense of rebates, research grants, and tax breaks for operators in industries which work towards reducing greenhouse gas emissions, making the concept of small, high-tech niche-industry start-ups economically viable. This has attracted big investment dollars in Brazil, the United States, and some members of the EU - most notable among these being Germany, where there are dozens of medium and large-scale alternative energy generation plants.
Biodiesel is defined as a diesel equivalent produced via transesterification of common fats and oils. There are three main avenues of supply of feedstock to biodiesel production plants. The first of these is dedicated crops grown specifically for their organic oils. Examples of these include soy beans, canola (rapeseed), oil palms, and algae. Canola and soy accounts for most of the total biodiesel production feedstock for the world, as it can be grown with conventional farming techniques, with predictable results.
The crop with the potential to produce the most oil is actually a species of algae, Botryococcus braunii, however, there remain serious doubts about its viability as a crop. Medium scale ventures prefer the waste by-products of other farming methods. The woody part of corn plants, left over wood pulp, and other biomass materials can be used as a substrate for biodiesel or ethanol producing bacteria. This supply is desirable for medium-scale producers as it results from otherwise less valuable by-products that can be obtained in reasonably large quantities.
Small-scale and hobbyist biodiesel producers are most likely to make use of waste vegetable oils and animal fats from cooking and commercial food production, as these are ubiquitous, but usually available only in smaller quantities, and hobby users are not likely to need any more raw feedstock than is necessary for a tank of fuel in their car every week. Furthermore, it is impractical for larger producers to collect kitchen waste in the same way an individual can, at least until demand grows enough for such infrastructure to be built.
Large scale producers have ongoing testing requirements for samples from billions of gallons biofuel every year. Due to the experimental nature of the industry, initial investment for such projects is quite expensive, however, due to the mostly uniform content of the feedstock crops used, large biodiesel production plants have run fairly reliably once established. For big biodiesel, the emphasis is on quality assurance There are stringent requirements put on producers to keep levels of pollutants and various contaminants under tight control. Areas tested can include alcohol content, ester content, sulfur, heavy metal, and water quotas.
Additionally, biodiesel must exhibit certain physical characteristics like viscosity and flashpoint temperature. Small and medium scale producers have slightly different challenges to overcome, as they often do not sell their product, but rather, use it internally to power on-site farming machinery, or in the case of a hobbyist, the family sedan. The challenge here is not in producing product that meets stringent sales requirements (although it is desirable), but rather, ensuring that the higher number of relatively small batches are safe and uniform, so as not to produce content that damages the engines of machinery and equipment.
While this work can be done in-house, it is far more economically viable for producers to contract out as possible. Larger testing enterprises usually have of at least one HPLC (High Pressure Liquid Chromatography) machine or Gas Chromatograph, which are available for less than US$20,000, as well as all the appropriate glassware and apparatus to conduct titrations and other analytic procedures. At the hobby end of the market are self-contained biodiesel reaction vessel kits available for less than $500, and biodiesel testing kits for testing small quantities of product which can be sourced for less than $50.
With the growing public concern over the excess of atmospheric carbon, world peak oil production, and alternative energy solutions, biodiesel is beginning to look like an increasingly appealing stepping stone in between petroleum products and a completely clean implementation of energy storage, like hydrogen. Biodiesel testing requirements factor into the equation for small, medium, and large scale producers to ensure a supply of quality product.

Top Ten Grant Tips
What's the point in having a great idea if you don't have any cash? You need capital to move your business from an idea to reality. One route that you can use to get the money you need is to look for a business grant.
Here are some great tips to getting that grant approved.
1) Talk to your local grant agency, local council economic development officer and Business Link to see if there are any grants available in your specific area.
2) Work out exactly what you need the money for because grants wont be provided for general running costs, they will support a specific outcome for example premises, training, trademarking etc.
3) Grants are often tied to strict selection criteria such as age, gender, ethnicity, unemployment or have a specific purpose such as research and development or innovation. If your idea doesn't fit into it don't try to force it.
4) Make personal contact by phone or ideally face to face with the grants officer and don't just send in your application cold. Talk through your proposition with them to check whether your idea is suitable and it is worth applying in the first place.
5) Prepare a thorough business plan to bring with it but make sure it stands out from the crowd. Most importantly you will need to present a thought provoking vision, a passionate commitment, clear benefits and robust cash flow forecast
6) Know that grants are often handed out on a cyclical basis. Research upcoming deadlines and be prepared to wait several months for a decision don't expect a quick answer because it doesn't happen that way.
7) For larger amounts of funds, one grant will not usually fund ALL of the proposed costs so you will likely have to find more funding from another source.
8) Ask yourself if this business could get off the ground without a grant. Look at alternative sources of finance, such as loans, 0% credit cards, credit unions, friends and family. Funders will want to make sure that there is no chance of you moving ahead without their support.
9) Don't stop watching your business process. It's easy to get distracted by the allure of grant money and this can become the focus of your energy rather than building your busines
10) Become steadfast because many people convince themselves that the only way to start a business is to raise large sums of money without realizing there are other, less conventional routes that can be taken. Think of finding creative ways to support your start-up business until it turns profitable. The key trick here is to start small, start selling and start generating your own cash to fund your business growth.

A Common Sense Approach to Nutritional Healing
My patients frequently ask questions about vitamins, minerals and herbal supplements. Usually the questions center on specific problems such as arthritis or headaches. Many times they have heard about a certain product from a friend, the health food store, or from reading an advertisement. They want to know if these products will make them feel better. All of these questions have proved to be an inspiration to me to come up with a more simplistic approach to using nutritional substances to heal.
First of all it is important to think of nutritional healing in three basic steps
1. Eat a healthy diet.
2. Take a multivitamin.
3. Take specific nutrients for specific problems.
You can think of this three step process in terms of a pyramid. At the base of the pyramid is step one eat a healthy diet. In the middle of the pyramid is step two and at the top, step three. The idea is that each step relies on the others. For example, you will not get the best benefit from taking a multivitamin supplement without eating a good diet. Also, taking specific nutrients for specific problems will not work as well as when accompanied by a healthy diet and a multivitamin. Here is why this is important.
Your diet is your nutritional foundation. The constituents of food including carbohydrates, fats and proteins are needed to keep your body going. They provide the energy needed for all of your body's processes and provide the building blocks for your cells and tissues. The multivitamin works to help support your body's metabolism. In other words vitamins work by allowing your body to process food efficiently.
Why do you need a multivitamin? You need vitamins because the American diet is seriously deficient in many nutrients. It is very difficult to get all of the vitamins and minerals from your food. It is my opinion that virtually everyone should be taking a good multivitamin supplement. I do not personally endorse any one brand of vitamins here are some general guidelines
1. It is standardized (meaning laboratory tested to ensure it contains what the label says).
2. It is all natural (no artificial preservatives, colorings, or other contaminating substances).
3. It contains at least 100% of the daily value (RDA) for the B vitamins, Vits C, D, E, and folic acid.
4. It contains 15,000 international units (iu) or less of beta carotene.
5. It is bioavailable (absorbed).
6. It contains micronutrients such as chromium, selenium and zinc.
Once you establish a good nutritional foundation you can consider taking specific nutrients for specific problems. Examples of these would include glucosamine sulfate for joint problems, vitamin B6 for nerve problems, or enzymes for pain control. These and many more supplements will work better if you follow the first two steps.
Bottom line is to avoid taking nutritional products without first establishing a good nutritional foundation with a proper diet and a multivitamin.

Start Your Own Free Article Directory
Internet marketing has become an exciting industry with the potential for anyone to earn a healthy living. You can easily get a website with your own domain and have it up and running within a day. The challenge is to create something that (1) you are knowledgeable enough to operate and (2) will bring in enough visitors to start making you some money. A free article directory allows you to accomplish both of these requirements and much more.
Simply stated, an article directory is a database/website combination that allows you to accept articles submitted by different authors. Anyone can signup to submit articles, and then start submitting their own articles for you to approve or decline. There are general articles with a variety of different categories, and niche directories that only accept articles within a certain category.
You can download free directory software or you can elect to buy a software solution that will have a few more bells and whistles. I find the free software adequate enough for my needs. Once you have chosen the heart of your system, you will need to think about what kind of directory you wish to operate and how you want it to look. By visiting forums and doing Google searches, you can often find free templates or skins that you can use as is or customize to give your site a unique look.
You generally have to set up your database and modify some of the setup files for your directory, but these are usually pretty simple tasks. No matter what program you are using, you can always find a support forum, wiki, blog, or other means of finding solutions to your problems. Once you have everything working, you can start editing some of the html so that your pages are optimized for search engines and you don't run the risk of incurring duplicate content penalties by the search engine
Your directory doesn't have to be perfect before it goes live. You can always iron out any bugs as you go along (so long as they're not too serious). Promotion of your article directory early on is important. You should submit your URL to as many portals as possible.
You can add a "Resources" or "Link Partners" page to your site and develop link exchanges with related websites. Participating in forums and commenting on blogs are good ways to build links to your site and help other people out along the way. Don't forget to add a link to your directory in the signature file for every post.
You can also add RSS feed and social bookmarking buttons to your site to allow visitors to easily subscribe to and share your content. Submitting articles to other free article directories will get you quick targeted one-way links to your website. This is my preferred free method of website promotion. Not only do you get visitors that follow the links to your site, you also improve your ranking in the search result
Starting an article directory is a good way to get your feet wet because you can get most or all of the components needed (including promotion) for free. You also don't have to write content yourself. One drawback is that you can spend a lot of time reviewing the articles that are submitted.
When I started my directory I received about ten articles submissions a day. At the date of writing this article (after being online for three months) the number went up to 200/day. As with many other kinds of websites, you will encounter glitches or things that will need to be improved in your directory. Tracking visitor and advertising statistics can also eat up a lot of your time.
All in all, the returns you get for the amount of work put in are quite good. It takes a bit of time to get most of your pages indexed in the search engines. And don't expect to instantly have a high PageRank with Google. These things take time. I am not yet aware of any 'get rich quick' scheme that is possible with article directories. But if you put in some time, maintain a quality directory, and exercise some patience, you can create something very rewarding.

UN Appeals For More Trees
The UN has launched a campaign to plant a billion new trees, which is being welcomed by environmentalists, but with a warning by some that in certain regions it could do more harm than good.
While the campaign claims that each tree uses up 26 pounds of co2 emissions and in return produces enough oxygen for a family of four, planting the right trees is important to help the world improve her ecological and environment balance.
In areas that historically have suffered from a lack of rain, and in areas where global warming could potentially produce deserts, new trees that use a lot of water could have a serious affect on their biodiversity.
Eucalyptus trees can consume two thousand litres of water a day, and planting new ones in Africa would be a catalyst to disaster, and local campaigners for planting trees are urged to consider their area needs and decide carefully before deciding on which type of tree to plant.
As well as individuals planting a tree, it is hoped that businesses will do the same and encourage employees to do the same, with government and civil servants also being asked to take active participation to reach the target of a billion trees by the end of this year.
The patron of the campaign is Prince Albert of Monaco. Prince Albert has been campaigning for the environment since becoming Monaco's Sovereign two years ago, and one of his first acts was to sign the Kyoto Protocol. Previously, along with Australia and the USA, Monaco was one of a handful of countries not to ratify the treaty.
Prince Albert's father, Prince Rainier, was Europe's longest reigning Monarch until his death in April 2005. Known affectionately as the 'builder prince' he transformed Monaco into the world's favourite tax haven and ensured the Monaco Grand Prix became one of the best known annual sporting events. The Principality Albert succeeded to was a country known throughout the world for money and glamour, and the Monte Carlo casino only added to its legendary statu
Albert has continued in his father's footsteps with a plan to develop an island off Monte Carlo, and like his father with the reclaimed land in Fontvieille the map of Monaco will change again.
In keeping with his stance on the environment, it is thought that a successful bid to build the island will need to be seen to be environmentally friendly, with the possibility of lower rise buildings than some parts of Monaco have endured to create more living space.
Monte Carlo has long been associated with glamour, heightened throughout the world in 1956 when Prince Albert's father married his mother, US actress Grace Kelly.
Speculation was rife earlier this year that Prince Albert would be announcing his own engagement to South African swimmer Charlene Wittstock.
'Things have gone quiet recently on the Charlene front', comment a Monaco travel guide, 'Monaco is all about glitz and glamour and perhaps a surprise announcement will be made soon. But it's possible that Albert is more interested in environmental affairs than affairs of the heart'.
Monaco has been making the news recently as Monte Carlo real estate prices have escalated, and are on a level with London and New York.
Even the cheapest studios are edging towards the million Euro level according to Monaco property specialist
'Increasing taxes elsewhere in Europe, especially in the UK, have seen inquiries increase significantly over the last twelve months,' they say, 'and it's not the weather in Monte Carlo that's drawing buyers, but the income tax free status of being a resident, and the security that goes with living in Monaco. There's one policeman for every one hundred residents and has to be the safest country to live in Europe'.
